FROM OLIVER WINCHESTER
Planes? Oh dear, is it really that obvious? -Laughter-
It is related to planes, yes. Our own planes, in fact. The plans aren't set in stone yet, but I'm pretty certain that we are going to the National Air and Space Museum. It'll be the first time I've seen the Flyer in person since...my word, it's been decades! -Sighs wistfully-
What about you? Do you have any particular plans for spring break?

FROM OLIVER WINCHESTER
Well, we won't actually be doing much flying above it in this case. I think we're driving out there, since it's only a couple of states away. Though with gas prices the way they are it may be better just to purchase a couple of plane tickets. Not as fun when we aren't the ones doing the flying though. -Wistful sigh-
Babysitting? Well, that can be fun in it's own way. Take the kids somewhere fun. That way both you and they can have fun, and it hardly seems like a chore. It's what I did when i was babysitting my cousin Kristy a few months back. Though having Walt Disney along was certainly a help as well. -Laughs- Even though she wasn't privy to that information.

FROM OLIVER WINCHESTER
That's true. I wouldn't mind doing a bit of the driving as well, though given my physical age I doubt it'll happen. Nevermind that I have more experience at it than, likely, most of Riverdale. -Sighs-
The amusement park here in Riverdale is opening up again soon, isn't it? You could always take them there. Although I don't think they'd be open in time for spring break, and it wouldn't do you much good to return to Charlotte only to bring your brothers back here. There's always Chuck E Cheese? And failing that, a McDonald's playhouse? -Chuckles-

I'm on my learner's as well. Just got it not too long ago. I don't really need it though. It's like riding a bike - Once you learn, you never really forget. I'd also like to take flying lessons too. I may have been inside of a commercial plane in this life but I'd like to be up close and personal with a newer single engine craft. Aside from our planned adventure in England over the summer, that sounds like the best option I have to do as such! -Sounds notably excited-
Outside is fine, of course! It's just that outdoors is also weather permitting, and thus I was trying to give you other ideas. I'd suggest taking them hang gliding, but I don't know if your parents would be up for that one. -Laughter- There's also flying kites? Riding bikes?
...why do all of my suggestions have to do with something related to my past life? -More laughter-

FROM OLIVER WINCHESTER
Come to think of it, it probably is not. However, I'm pretty sure the Youngs own a large parcel of land that we can fly on without having to worry about being interrupted. That and we'd have no shortage of skill amongst the four or five of us that are scheduled to be there. We're all experience pilots!
Well, at least you have a couple of options now. That wagon idea doesn't sound like a bad one, actually. I may have to try that with Kristy when she and my aunt and uncle visit again. Will as a kid once tried to attach a sled to a horse and buggy so that they would pull him along...I imagine it's much the same concept, only the person doing the pulling has actually agreed to it first. -Laughs-

That would depend on how much they actually see. Besides, we'll have much of our fun putting the thing together in the first place! -Sounds excited, then a bit sheepish- I think all of us want to try it out as well though. We don't plan on flying too high for that reason. It's less likely that we'll run into anyone if we stick close to the ground.
Ah yes, I wasn't thinking about that. I'm sorry Joan. It's a good way to make sure he can still join in on the fun, though. You're a good big sister.

A really tall person? We wouldn't be that close to the ground! -Laughter- At least not most of the time. Will and I did an alright job of not hitting cows at Huffman Prairie - I think we can pull this off. It's Fred we have to worry about. -Laughs again, clearly joking-
That reminds me. I'm trying to pick up a few extra hours at the bowling alley to save up for the trip this summer. I'm also trying to advertise my repair services, however. I already have an appointment with Evie this Sunday, but, if you know anyone who might need help, feel free to send them my way. Heck, if you need any help with your bike, I have a good amount of experience in that field!
It's quite alright. I still think it's wonderful that Felipe gets to participate in the usual boyhood escapades with your aid.

I think all of us have crashed, actually. -Laughs- Point is that unless it's someone in Fred's family, I doubt there'd be any particularly tall people to crash into. Unless Paul Bunyan happens to be vacationing in London over the summer...at Fred's house at that.
I can make a few posters for you to hand out. Thanks a bunch, Joan! Actually, while you're at it, would you also be willing to put a poster up for Evie's band? I'm sure she'd appreciate it as well.
-Sounds surprised- They did? Well that's great news! Maybe I could make a few flying angels for your Sunday school class. I'm sure they'd get a kick out of it, and hopefully wouldn't get them stuck in the rafters.
Well, that sounds pretty par for the course with brothers from what I've heard. It's what Cindy and Alison say, anyway. -Chuckles-
Nerf guns were fun...though mind always ended up in pieces for some reason. I have no idea why. -More chuckles-

You don't...oh yeah, Spanish in this life, French in your past life. It's an American and Canadian folk tale about a giant lumberjack. That's...pretty much all you need to know, unless you want to look him up.
Hmm, I suppose you're correct. Ah well, looks like we'll just have go with our original plan for advertising... -Mischievous laughter-
I'll get to work on that project then! About how many do you think you'll need? Do you want one for everyone in your class or just a few for them to share? I may have to call in reinforcements if there are too many, but I'm sure Will would be willing to oblige.

FROM OLIVER WINCHESTER
They are, but there is a reason I used the adjective "giant". We're talking as tall as a tree tall, if not larger.
Oh, just a little something Will and I tried once before. The plan is to switch out one of Hoffman's tests with an advertisement for Evie's band. We tried this out with an advertisement for the Wright Cycle Co., and it worked pretty well! Made for some amusing results as well. -Chuckles- Hoffman seems like the teacher who would find the most amusement out of it, hence my suggestion that we put the plan into action in her class, though I'm still waiting to hear back from Evie to see if she agrees or wants to pick a different teacher. It is her band, after all.
I'll make three. When should I have them done by? -Chooses to ignore the religious part, as he doesn't know what to say to that- The fact that I've already made one should cut down the working time considerably, since I already have plans in action. I may try to add a few improvements, though.

-Starts laughing almost straight away- It's a folktale, Isa. You aren't supposed to delve THAT far into it.
We don't plan on that. Or, at the very least, I don't. I don't know where Evie's priorities lay on the matter, but that's up to her.
Well, I was thinking a more powerful motor so that they could soar higher. However, we are talking about children here, so perhaps that's not the best idea. Although the kids might have more fun with it. I know I would at that age... -Chuckles- And, admittedly, at any age.

Well, I can testify that there were no giant blue oxes roaming around the countryside in the late 1800s and early 1900s. Before that is fair game. -Laughs-
Probably, though she seemed receptive enough to the idea of putting the plan into action in Hoffman's class. In fact, she seemed rather impressed with the idea in the first place.
I suppose I don't want to confuse the kids too much. I'll probably just stick with more or less the same model and remote control that I gave you. Maybe I could install some sort of motion sensor to alert the user if the angel is in danger of crashing... -Trails off with a sound of rustling-

Well, we still have to discuss what we're going to do, and design the flyer itself.
...the paper flyer, not the Wright flyer. -Laughs- We designed the latter quite a while ago now, though we're designing a new one over the summer. I think we're going to go shopping for parts over the weekend! -Is a happy Wright XD-
Well, it's worth a shot at least? Plus I'd like to see their reactions when a loud alarm goes off whenever these things get anywhere near a tree. -Laughter-

(450) 9768 Well, you still have some time before school lets out to work it all out.
I was just about to say I hope you're not going to build this one out of paper! -laughs- Though keep in mind how you plan on shipping the parts.
Oliver, you'd scare the children. Angels are not meant to sound like flying burglar alarms.

FROM OLIVER WINCHESTER
That we do, and we plan to take advantage of that extra time.
We're only getting some of the smaller parts. I'd like to go shopping for ALL of it, to be honest, but we have to fit what we're taking in our luggage, which makes it a lot harder. I mean, we can take an extra bag or two, but we also don't want to arouse too much suspicion. At least if we buy the larger supplies over in London we can use the excuse that we're doing...home repairs or something. I don't know. We'll work it out though. -Laughs-
Well no, but these aren't your average angels anyway. How many angels do you see that are metallic and fly via remote control? Then again, once they get used to the noise, they probably will try to see how close they can get to buildings and trees before the alarms go off. It's a double-edged sword. Maybe I'll just include that feature in your next model so that you don't get it stuck in the rafters again. -Chuckles lightly-
