Weight: 149
Eye Color: hazel
Hair Color: light brown
Build: tall and lanky
Scars: nah
Piercings/Tattoos: one on his chest that says "we all have been degraded. we all will be the greatest"
Personal Style: Freddie prefers nice, comfortable things to kick it in. He doesn't dress up often. He's not very fond of it. He'll put on a collared shirt, but never a tie. He'd rather wear a dress. He wears only skinny jeans with some form of boot or sneaker. The colors of his clothes don't really vary from black, white, brown and rust colored. Also, no matter what time of year it is, if it's sunny and he's outside, he wears his Ray Ban sunglasses.
Appearance: It's all about the hair. Ever since Freddie could remember, his hair is the most important thing. He takes a lot of pride in his hair. His love for his hair probably came from his mother. She's never given him a bad haircut before and he'd like to keep it that way. And, yes. Mummy still cuts his hair for him. Don't hate. He sets aside a specific amount of time each morning to get his light brown hair to lie perfectly on his head.
In case you haven't noticed or are blind, Freddie is very tall. He has long limbs and he's lean. He's naturally thin and there's nothing he can do about it. He's not very strong, as a result and was usually picked on by gym teachers, hence his fear for them. Wearing skinny jeans like he does doesn't help him looks less lanky either. He has some muscles...but mostly, Freddie is a twig.
When he's not on stage, Freddie doesn't smile a lot. It isn't like he hates the world...he's just shy. He usually is wearing a rather blank expression (and it annoys him when people ask "what's wrong?". He isn't always upset just because he doesn't smile. He's usually lost in thought. ). When Freddie does smile, it's rare to see him give a big, exaggerated, holy-shit-i'm-really-fucking-happy smile. He usually gives a very small smile to show his approval in something.
HOPE AND HORROR
MIXED IN BLOOD
Likes: piano, guitar, rock music, having good hair, performing, tea, ipods, video cameras, England, movies, rice, Asian food, bollywood movies, sunglasses, outgoing girls, hearing "we will rock you" at stadiums...especially since that song wasn't supposed to be a hit, kids, the beatles, books, strong women, impersonating accents
Dislikes: being so shy, AIDs, stuttering, his name, being confused for a girl because of his name, homophobics, slutty girls, rap, soda, ties, metal, math, being out of key, people being shocked when he speaks because they think he's a mute
Dreams: to get a job in the arts, whether it's in film or music
Fears: AIDs, clowns, gym teachers
Habits/Hobbies: being quiet, looking away when he's nervous, stuttering, having a completely different personality on stage, playing guitar, playing piano, composing songs, singing, fixing his hair, running his hands through his hair, walking with his head down, learning new accents
Secret(s): he feels bad for not being gay this time around...almost like he betraying himself or something
Personality:
Freddie is almost like two people. There's his stage personality and his normal personality.
Normally, Freddie is very, very, very quiet. He's painfully shy. He's the type of guy that sits in the back of the room and takes notes like a good kid. As long as he's not standing up (since he's considerably tall), Freddie is very easy to miss and difficult to remember. He keeps his head down and often just stares at the ground, as if he's fascinated with the floor or his shoes...but really, he's just avoiding eye contact. Freddie stutters and looks away when he's extremely nervous. This extreme nervousness usually occurs when speaking with an intimidating figure, such as a gym teacher or when he has to give a speech in class. He knows he can talk but staying quiet is just so much simpler. You don't get in trouble that way. You don't get mocked.
...But you do get confused for a mute that way...
But when he's on stage, you'd never know that quiet side even existed. On stage and performing, Freddie was very talkative. He loves speaking with the audience and playing with them. He loves dancing around up there. On stage, he's rather cheeky as well, where as normal Freddie is reserved and polite. On stage, he's hyper active as well. Normally, Freddie is the type of guy who would prefer to sit still with his guitar but on stage? On stage, sitting still is physically impossible. He'll be on one side of the stage...then the other....then the other. Even if he's sitting and playing piano, he's moving. Freddie feels music. It fuels him.
No matter which side of Freddie is showing, though, he's very kind and gentle. He likes making people smile and seeing people happy. Since he's not a great speaker, he tries to make his people happy through music. Freddie doesn't have a lot of confidence though. He's so talented, but he doesn't believe it. He's good at faking confidence, but deep down, he frustrates himself with how he could do...pretty much everything in life better. From his music to simple day to day activities, such as speaking...specifically speaking to women.
He's also a bit of a neat freak. He's not obsessive compulsive where he'd have a heart attack if something was knocked out of place, but he really does like things in order. He's perfectly organized and he finds cleaning relaxing. When he gets nervous, he tends to straighten things as well as look at anything but the source of his nervousness.

History:
On Halloween of 1992, the fourth child of Irish Margret Fredrickson and her English husband George was born. He was a healthy baby boy. Strong with hazel eyes and soft light brown hair on his little head. His mother took her son in her arms and looked at him lovingly while his three older brothers looked on with curious eyes. Margaret looked into her baby's hazel eyes as he cuddled closer to her chest. She had the perfect name for him. She'd always wanted to name one of her son's this. So that day, as she kisses her baby's forehead, Margaret gave him his name.
Shannon.
Yes. Shannon. She named the poor boy SHANNON. In her defense, it is an Irish name for a boy...but...Shannon? That poor name choice would haunt him all of his life.
Shannon Liam Fredrickson grew up in London with his brothers, playing soccer in the park with other kids. While being called "Shannon" was normal in his home, it was odd outside of it and Freddie was picked on a lot as a child. Freddie knew something was wrong with his name, then, but he wasn't sure what his real name was. The cruel teasing caused him to stop going outside and he stayed inside his small London home, passing his time by reading until one day when he was 4.
On that summer day, the piano caught his eye. So he teetered over to it, pulled himself onto the bench and before hew knew it, he was playing "Bohemian Rhapsody" and singing along, hitting every note perfectly and getting all the words right. When he was done, he was met with an applause. He turned and saw his dad standing in the doorway, wide-eyed. "That was...very good, son" George said, still shocked, "Very good! Perfect, actually! ...Come with me. I want to show you something."
So Freddie followed his dad to the basement where dad kept all of his records from the 70s. Dad turned on the music and soon, Freddie was humming along to "Somebody to Love" — a song he had never heard before. Yet at the same, he knew he had. He just knew it. He actually felt like he knew the song more than just being familiar with it. He felt like he'd...written it. He reached out his little hand and picked up the album artwork and looked at the band, his eyes instantly going to the guy with large dark eyes and long black-brown hair. He pointed at him, "Daddy...who is this?"
His father grinned, "That, son, is the lead singer. Freddie Mercury. The greatest singer that's ever lived."
He looked up at the mentioning of the name, responding to it. Freddie blushed a bit at the compliment and looked back down with a smile, "I wouldn't say greatest."
Freddie Mercury. That name stuck with him, through at 4 years old, he didn't know why. Also, after that day, he became obsessed with Queen. It stuck with him so much that when he entered school, he told the teacher to call him 'Freddie'. His father thought that was due to his obsession...but Freddie explained it as his name. In art class, Freddie would paint or sketch accurate pictures of Queen on stage or even in the studio. His teachers wondered how a child would know such things and wondered if he was psychic, but the young boy would insist he was not. He told them he was simply Freddie Mercury.
...Then he found himself talking to the school counselor because his teachers thought he was mental. The shrink decided that Freddie was normal, shy young boy. He just had an obsession with Freddie Mercury. It was a phase and he would soon grow out of it.
But he did not. He buried himself further into music, adding the guitar to his list of musical talents he had. His father figured Freddie taught himself how to play. But the truth was, Freddie just knew. He didn't know how but he did. It was like his fingers were programmed to play piano and guitar and his voice was trained to sing. He was the only one who could get his baby sister to fall asleep when she was born. Finally, when he was 8 years old, he had his first talent show. Naturally, he picked a piece by Queen to play. He chose "Crazy Little Thing Called Love". Some of the adults in the crowd were skeptical of an 8-year-olds ability to do Queen. Some of the adults had even seen Queen live and weren't looking forward to this.
...And then they saw Freddie play and they swore it was like seeing it in concert all over again. And for Freddie? It felt like being in concert again. But why? Why did he have these feelings?
When he was 12, he got his answer. He was in world studies, taking notes like a good student on their study of India when their teacher got to the part about religion and reincarnation. Freddie suddenly stopped taking notes and he listened with fascination which was slowly turning into understanding. It was like all the answer of life had been given to him. This explained why he had memories that were not his and this talent. He was no prodigy. He was Freddie Mercury...just like he always said he was. Hah. He was right all along. A smile crossed Freddie's shy face that day and it stayed all day along.
Now he really had a reason to never be called Shannon.
When he was 14, his parents got the bright idea to move to America to be closer to George's sister, who was residing in North Carolina. So, Freddie was forced from his beloved England, put on a plane and shipped over to America. His family moved into a small, ranch-style home in Riverdale and Freddie was enrolled in the local high school where he was big in the music department. Someone noticed him there and privately met with him, asking him to join RSOR. Freddie was floored that there were other reincarnites and honored they'd want him among them. How could he say no?
