Height: Five feet and zero inches
Weight: Roughly one hundred and twenty two pounds.
Eye Color: Dark chocolate eyes.
Hair Color: A rather dark brown color.
Build: Skinny, very skinny!
Scars: None.
Piercings/Tattoos: Only in her ears.
Personal Style: She he's a demure girl and tends to wear clothes that can compliment her. Sadako isn't the sort of girl found prancing around in outlandishly skimpy clothing and she tends to cover herself up to the best of her ability beneath pastel colored clothes or more earthy tones. She likes to wear dresses, skirts, and anything that looks good on her. She's normally got some jewelry on her being.
Appearance: She has a fully cherubic sort of face that holds a very sweet look to it. Her dark hair is a deep chocolate brown color that's silky mixed with wire. It's rather short hair reaching just around her chin in a bobbed cut. Her bangs hide a fairly big in her opinion forehead and she likes to swish her hair from side to side when she's got it. Sadako’s eyes are almond shaped and very dark. Her irises are a dark chocolate color that almost blend in with her pupils. She's got thin eyelashes that surround her eyes but she attempts to make them look longer with use of mascara and eye make-up. She's normally found fussing about her looks to make sure she looks nice. Sadako does what most girls to in order to look nice. She waxes her eyebrows, makes sure that her face is covered with foundation if she has a pimple, wears lip gloss to make sure that she's got smooth lips.
Sadako nose is rather large but it seems to suit her face just fine. She likes it well enough even though she wouldn't mind if it was smaller or perhaps more up turned in oppose to bulbous near the end. Beneath her nose is a pair of full pink lips. Normally, her mouth is drawn up into a smile. Though her smile is a bit crooked and raises up to one side a little bit more than on the other when she smiles fully.
A steady diet of healthy foods keep Sadako in shape. She's got a very thin and delicate looking figure that's almost dollish. Coming from Japanese decent she's not a very tall lady. Because she's so thin she doesn't have much of a figure to speak of and could be described as a carpenter's dream.
HOPE AND HORROR
MIXED IN BLOOD
Likes: Paper cranes, books, Hans Christian Andersen, peaches, pretty floral patterns, koi ponds, nicely printed origami paper, arts and crafts, making little things, ribbons, ballet, domesticated animals, knowing English, naps in the sunshine, soft blankets, socks out of the dryer, a big cup of hot chocolate, children’s books, and sunshine.
Dislikes: Bombs, war, being sick often, discrimination, wet socks, storms, clouds, ashes, fire, the smell that hospitals have, hospitals in general, latex, scissors, blood, rain, cold water, being thirsty, documentaries, having bushy eyebrows, being called a “kid”, squids, being hungry, paper cuts, and running out of paper.
Dreams: Successfully fold a thousand paper cranes, all of which are practically perfect, all by herself and make a wish. Visit Hiroshima and see what it looks like now. Finding someone who can cure cancer.
Fears: She’s horribly afraid of getting leukemia as she had gotten it before and doesn’t want to go through it again. Even though she knows it sounds foolish she terrified of literally being trapped in a hospital and unable to get out. Another World War.
Habits/Hobbies: She bites her lip a lot and twirls her hair when she’s thinking. She tends to tap her fingers on flat surfaces, and if there’s paper around it isn’t safe from her. If she has the right size paper she’ll fold it into almost anything she possibly can.
Secret: She’s horribly afraid of getting leukemia again, she passed her previous age when she had died and she’s frightened that she’ll get it again.
Personality: Sadako’s an endless optimistic. The best way to describe her is as happy as a lark. Anything and everything bad in the world she attempts to ignore. Not because she’s ignorant or stupid but because she knows the evil in the world and she doesn’t want to believe that such hatred exists. Though, she does her very best to stay positive. She’s like a little girl trapped in her woman’s body and she looks at the world through rose colored glasses. She doesn’t want to believe that everyone’s all bad and that deep down most people have good qualities to them. She’s a very empathetic and sweet girl.
It’s very easy for her to slip herself into someone else’s shoes and understand how they feel. She’s very sensitive to the sick and does her best to make people feel better when they’re down. She’s sugary sweet and she minds her manners all the time. It’s hard for her to go through a sentence without her saying “Please” or “I’m Sorry.” She’s afraid of leaving a bad impression on people and wants to make sure that she isn’t misunderstood. English isn’t her native language and she does her best to make sure that she’s understood.
She’s a very easy going girl that tends to go with the flow. When put in a situation where she might have to fight or confront someone she will run away from the problem. She does her best to avoid fighting at all costs since she would rather avoid the problem completely!
Sadako will literally run away from her problems and do her best to just not face her problems or fears. When she fights, someone is obvious upset with her in some way and her least favorite thing to do is make people angry with her.
Sadako’s a very nurturing girl by nature and she wants to make sure that all of her friends are happy. She’s a friendly girl making up for the time she had lost previously and she tends to assign people as her friends immediately after she meets them. She worries that people won’t like her and she’ll be rejected but she doesn’t want either to happen so she’ll bend over backwards for people.
She doesn’t have much of a backbone and saying “no” isn’t in her vocabulary. She’s a very clingy girl and she’ll stick to people like glue and tail them around like she’s their shadow. Friends are very important to her and she wants to keep them desperately.
She’s not a very smart girl and tends to get fooled easily. She’s a trusting girl and can be hurt when she finds out that someone has betrayed her in some way whether they’ve lied to her or if they’ve been mean. She wants to give people as many chances as possible though and she believes that she can fix people.
She’s the sort of girl who will give until it hurts. She’ll readily take the shirt off of her back and give it to anybody. She’s a bit of a crybaby, sad stories and movies can bring her to tears. She can cry at the drop of a hat especially now since she doesn’t have to be a strong little girl anymore. She’s been to the bottom before and understands what it’s like so she wants to make sure that no one else will ever feel that way.
PRETTY BOY, PRETTY GIRL
PRETTY INSANE
Mother: Shizuka Yoshida, forty, stay at home mom.
Father: Kohaku Yoshida, forty two, businessman.
Siblings: None.
Other: None.
Pets: None.
Hometown: Shibuya, Japan.
History: Sadako was born on October twenty fifth and was pushed out with a maternal cry. She was a tiny baby, weighing only seven pounds one once. Though she was a beautiful and perfect child to her parents. Shizuka had always wanted a little girl and she couldn’t help but cry when she held onto her little girl. When Kohaku held onto her he kissed his daughter and promised that he would never let anything bad happen to her. The Yoshida’s were a relatively normal couple having been married for a few years and they had decided that they wanted to start a family. So Sadako was born and they brought her home from the hospital.
Shibuya was a beautiful place to live in their opinion. There were all sorts of amazing and beautiful things there. They would have a safe place to bring up their little girl and they were happy to bring her home. Sadako was treated like a little princess and tenderly cared for constantly. She was a very happy baby and she tended to be very quiet. She didn’t cry often only when she was hungry or wet. The first time parents had lucked out with their dear little Sadako and loved her all the more for it. Though, she did have some problems a few hiccups along her first year. The chickenpox hit her rather hard when she was around nine months old and they just didn’t want to leave. Most of them were behind her ears and around her neck but Shizuka did her best to care for her little girl. It wasn’t until the age or two when Sadako started to really act up.
Their normally calm little girl would have night terrors, she would scream when she saw dark clouds, and cry whenever she saw a flame. Her parents didn’t know what to make of it and the two year old didn’t know how to articulate she was afraid of being bombed again. So she communicated the way all two year olds did; Loudly and angrily. She’d cry constantly and refuse to go outside when she saw dark clouds out—which was quite a problem during the summertime when it was the rainy season and her parents needed to go out—she would just stand in the doorway and kick and scream when brought outside. When she was three came down with pneumonia for the first time.
She couldn’t remember a lot about having pneumonia just that she was very hot and her parents kept her room very dark. She remembered quite vividly being in the hospital very sick. Not the same sort of sick she was though, but a different sick. She didn't have the words to ask her mama what that meant so she stayed quiet. She got better fairly soon though she was left with a fairly weak immune system. Sadako seemed to catch any cold that was being passed around the playground and take it a lot harder than the other children so she stayed home quite often with her mother who quit her job after Kohaku got a raise.
As Sadako got older she remembered finding paper. She didn’t know how she knew but she folded a paper crane and showed it to her mother. Her mother asked if she had learned such a thing in school but Sadako shook her head and replied, “No Mama, Chizuko taught me how.” Though Mrs. Yoshida didn’t know anybody named Chizuko and there was no one in Sadako’s class with such a name.
Sadako found that she knew all kinds of origami and she loved it a lot. Her childhood was fairly normal. She would go to school each day and she found that she knew most of the curriculum and was rather bored in most of her classes since she seemed to have learned them before. It wasn’t until she was read a story in first grade when she learned about the Sadako before her. The sick poor Sadako who had come down with Atomic Bomb Disease and had to live in the hospital.
Sadako thought it was horrible and she felt bad for the other girl she started to cry. “Sadako only got to make six hundred and forty four!” she wailed to her teacher and shook her head. She only for to make six hundred and forty four! She didn’t get to make her wish. “I didn’t get my wish!” Sadako was in hysterics and her teacher tried to calm her down telling her that Sasaki Sadako was in a better place. It didn’t calm the little girl though. How she knew that she didn’t make it to her goal or the number of cranes she had stopped at didn’t make sense to her.
If anything, it frightened the little girl senseless. Though she did her best to ignore it. She ignored her dreams about the hospitals, she ignored the dreams about her friends in school, she ignored her paper cranes even and did her best to not think about the other Sadako. She did her best to make friends with her classmates and participate in normal child activities.
Though, she continuously got sick, her parents tried natural things such as supplements and such but it did little to help their little girl. They wanted to make sure she was healthy and happy. While not healthy she was pretty happy. She loved being with her parents and spending as much time with them as possible.
When Sadako was around ten years old, her father got a job offer in America. Sadako was wary of it at first and she said, “But papa they bombed us.” He explained that was a long time ago and that many Americans were much kinder. Sadako was still afraid but she had little choice in the matter so the Yoshida’s moved from the bustling city of Tokyo to Charlotte, North Carolina.
It was a hard move for Sadako. She was afraid of America at first and did didn’t know what she could possible do or say to make friends. She had still been learning English and found the language very difficult. Though she wanted to learn as her father had learned and her mother was learning it too.
She was happy for a while though, until she was about to turn twelve though. She very calmly told her parents that she was going to die. She hadn’t lived after twelve when she was around before and knew she could very well die again. Though, Sadako didn’t die but her parents were worried about her. Perhaps the move had been too hard for her?
She was taken to a child psychologist once a week and after a while she opened up about who she was—who she really was. Doctor Williams was very understanding and told her that he was in fact not who he was either. Sadako was shocked. He told her that he used to be somebody else too and that she was normal. Sadako couldn't believe it but she did trust him and took his word to heart when he Dr. Williams suggested that Sadako go to a special school. RSOR sounded perfect for her and she would be among other people like her.
Her parents were wary at first, they were afraid of letting their fragile and sickly girl go. Though, they had faith in the doctor who told them that she wasn’t depressed and that it was the best school for her to get around her tendencies to believe that she would become gravely ill while she was very young.
The Yoshida’s believed the good doctor of course and enrolled her to the school in Riverdale. Sadako had been going since she was fourteen years old and she was very happy to still be alive so she was living her life to its fullest.

Post Sample:Barbie wasn't the sort of girl who would just watch something go down without getting herself into the situation. Maybe she was a busy body but it was how she managed to meet all sorts of interesting people. Barbie didn't witness people being slapped. She grew up in a fairly peaceful home and her parents never raised a hand to each other. The only time she had ever seen a man get slapped was on her soaps. She thought that perhaps they had been exaggerating on the crisp sound but it sounded just as awful in real life as it did in person. The poor dear, she thought to herself, poor thing.
Barbie wasn't about to let him sit over there and wallow by himself. That would just be cruel of her and she brought it upon herself to cheer him up. She thought that it would be best to have her there to make him feel a bit better. Perhaps, she was being a bit too bold but she just wanted to make sure that he was all right. As she settled herself beside him she prepared herself to become as supportive as possible. He didn't look at her at first and she felt a tad discouraged but maybe he was just upset? She'd be upset too if she'd been slapped.
Goodness gracious! He said something French to her! Mademoiselle, from Barbie's limited knowledge on just about everything she knew that meant Miss or something along those lines. Teehee, he called her Miss! The blonde girl thought that was positively adorable! Barbie didn't know how else she could possibly describe that aside from really adorable. Wide eyed she brought her hand up to her mouth as she let out a tiny giggle and bat her eyes a few times. Wow! He spoke French, that was the love language and he made it sound so--so what was the correct word for her to use? It sounded so darn beautiful! Mascara clad eyelashes bat a few times as she moved her hand down and she pressed her plump lips together.
He spoke and she couldn't help but be flattered by his words. Pretty words tended to sway her very quickly and she bit down gently on her lower lip. He forgot all about the pain because she was there! How romantic! Barbie smiled and she waved her hand. "Oh no, I'm not a nurse just concerned." That was true but Barbie concerned herself with almost everybody because she hated to see people in pain or upset. Normally both could be preventable and she liked making people smile. Especially if they were cute guys. Nurses did have really cute clothes though! If she was smarter she would have considered being a nurse but she was perfectly fine with being in home economics. Barbie did know how to tend to wounds though thankfully for him.
Now she was an angel? She thought that was adorable, he was just adorable he really was. He winked at her. Why was it winking boys were just so irresistible? She couldn't help but completely turn into mush when cute guys winked at her--whether it was cheesy or not Barbie just loved it. Miss Roberts brought her hand which was clutching onto her makeshift ice pack up to his cheek. Barbie tenderly pressed the pack against the offending wound. Personally, she'd never been slapped before but she couldn't help but believe that it really stung and probably stung his pride just a bit more. Though he didn't have to think about that anymore since she was there.
"Barbie, Barbie Roberts." Barbie reached to her drink with her other hand as she drank up the nonalcoholic drink as she then placed it on the counter once more. She bat her eyes a few times perhaps. Barbie inquired curiously with a sugary tone, "Does that feel better?" Her eyebrows knit towards each other in concern. She couldn't help but wonder what it was he had said to that harpy to make her mar such a pretty face. "Oh!" She cried. "I almost forgot, what's your name?"
What kind of name did he have? Was it a typical French man name? Maybe it was Jacques? Or maybe it was something more exotic? Barbie wondered where in France he was from? Maybe he was from Paris! Paris, how exotic how beautiful! She couldn't help but feel excited to just talk with him she'd never met anybody from France--she was assuming of course and didn't even think that he could possibly be from Canada or his accent could be from somewhere else the country girl only believe that he was from France. Though he had to have been from some place special like France he was too charming to not be from such a romantic place.- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
