Personal Style: He will wear pretty much whatever and has honestly never cared about what is in style. He gauged his ears and got his tongue, hips, and belly button pierced though so he is slightly rebellious and is a bit of a trouble maker. So he's commonly seen with a gym bag of sorts that has things like rubber bands in it to fling at people if he get's bored. Most of the time his piercings are covered by a shirt and his tongue is obviously in his mouth, but he will walk around or work out without a shirt with no issue.
Appearance: Arlen is your average build for a fifteen year old that works out a bit and has the metabolism of one and thus is constantly seen with a snack of some sort. He knows this will run out eventually and thus takes advantage of it while he can. He's typically seen in pretty much any type of clothes whether it be shorts, t-shirts, tank tops, hoodies or jeans. Hell, he's even fine with not wearing a shirt at times depending on what he is doing. Honestly he's one of those people that rolls out of bed, grabs some clothes, fixes his hair, and leaves without much thought about how he appears. After all he doesn't really think it matters too much. Who's he trying to impress anyway?
Depending on what he feels like doing his hair could either be black, brown, or blond. Or some combination of black and blond or brown and blond. Once he even put red in it though he couldn't tell, but he doesn't do colors very often. He has his tongue pierced and though it may be a tad childish he will stick his tongue out at you if he finds the need to. He's not the type to really look awake all the time, but he is, just depends on if he's actually paying attention or not.

Personality: Arlen is pretty much continuously hyper beyond all reason. If he had his choice he'd be awake all hours of the day bouncing about and eating snacks. He's pretty much just a generally hyperactive happy person. Which causes him to randomly walk on his hands or do a flip of some sort. It is very rare that he is in a bad mood, but it does happen from time to time. Mostly if someone mentions that he doesn't match or something. It isn't as if he can tell if he does or not and thus they should shove off in his opinion. Though usually he will just not care what someone else thinks about him.
Other than a few minor irritations he's pretty laid back and easy going. He shrugs off insults and usually tries to annoy someone to death with shooting them with rubber bands or maybe even silly string. So yeah he kinda likes pissing people off being that it brings him amusement, but don't let that stop you from being his friend. He only irritates those that irritate him. He pretty much always smiles and going along with the punk look he's a tad bit of a rebel at times. So yeah if he finds something wrong he will stand up for it whether that be against another student or against a teacher. Probably gets that from his politician father.
Anyway, when he does finally run out of energy he tends to crash for hours. Sure he can run on only a few hours of sleep, but eventually even he crashes and when he does it's pretty much impossible to wake him up. So he might sleep through a few classes before dragging himself out of bed depending on when he crashed. Right before he becomes very spacey and cannot focus on anything. Might even walk into a wall or two or just generally act like he's drunk. After the sleep though he's back to his hyper must snack all hours of the day self.

History: Arlen was born in Hannover Germany along with his twin Annalise to his two parents. They were already married at the time, but hadn't exactly been expecting twins. Sure they wanted kids, but one at a time, but seemed it didn't work out that way for them. Anyway, the first few years of their lives were spent in Germany. Once the children turned about eight though their dad got transferred to the US for work and took his family with him to Raleigh. Why he was transferred there of all places Arlen has no idea, but he and his sister ended up going to random boarding schools around the state.
It was during the middle school phase of their lives that he and his sister started growing apart a bit. After all, they had been in a boys boarding school and a girl's boarding school so thus only got to see one another during summer and holidays. Besides, they had kind of gone in different directions. He was a bit of a rebel, and she was the good girl who did what she was told. Then again they were kind of like their parents in that aspect. Ah well, it didn't bother him much other than when they were together they decidedly drove one another insane.
During high school though he found they were both put in the same school. Well, that was odd, but he didn't mind much being that he was finally around both genders and discovered that he didn't only have a thing for boys. Which was slightly a relief being that his parents weren't exactly all for same sex couples. Not that he told them being that he just wasn't ready to go down that road. Anyway, it has been a year and the two of them are known to do whatever they can to annoy each other and for being pretty much opposites.
