RSOR. It was the subject on the minds of a large number of people at Riverdale, both members and 'normals' alike. Lucy Gettys, sophomore and twin to Jake Gettys, was no exception to this. However, it wasn't so easy to find the answers that one sought when it was clear that RSOR was doing everything in it's power to make sure that their secret wasn't discovered.
Lucy suspected that the secret was a big one, whatever it was, and an almost fantastical one as well. Why else would they keep it a secret? It had to be something big, something cool. She also had not failed to notice that a lot of her fellow students who were in the club had talents that made them stand out amongst the rest. That said, just because she was interested didn't mean that she was any closer to finding out the truth, much to her chagrin.
The brunette was seated underneath a tree on the outskirts of the parking lot. Being March, the weather was starting to warm up (not that it ever snowed more than a couple of times a year in North Carolina anyway). Lucy liked the outdoors to a certain extent, though she wasn't an outdoorsy person by any means. She did, however, enjoy an occasional trek to get some fresh air, or sitting under a tree with a good book and getting lost in a fantasy world. In this case, Lucy was reading an X-Men comic book. It was one of her favorite comics, simply because there were almost endless possibilities. It wasn't focused on one particular superhero. It was focused on a team that was practically unlimited in it's scope. Most importantly, Lucy often found herself daydreaming about being a superhero in this universe. What sort of power would she have? What sort of power did she want to have? It was all so fun to think about!
It was also one of her considerations as to what RSOR might be. The chances were low, of course, and Lucy realized it, but that didn't mean that it wasn't on the list. As far as she was concerned, it hadn't been disproven, so who was to say that it wasn't the case? There was certainly something peculiar about RSOR, and she doubted it was something entirely ordinary. Not the way that they were keeping their secrets, and not with the way they reacted when their secret was threatened. Instead of being jealous and annoyed, however (like others who wanted to know what RSOR was), Lucy was more intrigued than anything else. There was a small degree of annoyance that she wasn't part of it, but clearly she lacked whatever it was that allowed people to be members. That wasn't their fault. It was just the way things worked. Lucy let all of these thoughts go through her head as she flipped to the next page in her book, looking up slightly as she heard movement nearby.
