I have you breathing down my neck I don't what you could possibly expect under this condition soI'll wait for the ambulance to come Pick us up off the floor Skylar was on watch on the stairs for the time being, and he was finding it hard to concentrate on anything. His broken nose was hurting because it kept being itchy and every time he scratched it pain shot through it. Really, it just wasn't fair that this kept happening to him. Stupid bandages why did they have to be so itchy? Thus the boy was stuck getting up and getting more pain killers so he could concentrate on something again. Seeing as pain did make it hard to concentrate. Sure he had gotten pretty good at ignoring it, but this was the first time he had broken his nose and thus it was a slightly different experience for him. He just had to get used to the pain and then he'd be able to ignore it. Funny how it hurt more now than when he had done it. Though that was probably because of how his body worked. It also didn't really help that they had to break it again back into place when he got to the hospital. That, was quite unpleasant, but what hurt more was them messing with it after he broke it. Funny how it worked that way, and honestly he probably would have preferred to have a crooked nose at that point. Only problem was that he couldn't get it to stop bleeding and it seemed that they had no issue with that. Besides, it hadn't even been that crooked, and sure it would have been noticeable but did he really care all that much about that? Yes actually, yes he did care because it was an appearance thing and he was way too vain for his own good at times. Probably why the bandages bothered him more than any other injury honestly. Since it was his face and thus it was not something he could just hide with clothes or something. Which meant his sister was probably going to notice and not be thrilled about it. Though the girl could probably tell their mother he really did get it on the stairs, either that or Isa could. Though he wasn't sure the woman would believe her any more than she believed her own son. Which it seemed like she didn't believe him at all anymore. He found it rather unreasonable being that he had never lied to her about anything other than RSOR and mostly that was just him not telling her any information at all rather than blatantly lying about it. Ah well, nothing he could really do about it now was there?
So that left Skylar bored, and with a broken nose. He knew in a few days he would be getting a call about it to yell at him for getting into a fight or something when he just smashed his face off the stairs. Obviously normal people put there hands up to protect their face, but he hadn't quite managed that which was why he also had a bruised wrist. Though that wouldn't be showing up anywhere in the medical report so she might not believe it happened. Skylar hadn't mentioned his wrist when he went to the hospital with Oz so thus he had just put a brace on it so that he wouldn't move it too much while the deep bruise healed. He hadn't exactly mentioned that one to Isa due to the fact that he was pretty sure she would mention it to the other members of the leader's panel and they would end up having to have extra people guarding the stairs seeing as he was pretty inept at using most weapons as it was. Skylar didn't want to bother them with it though so he mentioned he had fallen on his wrist, but not that it was injured at all. Oh well, he'd figure something out if someone showed up. He probably would just tackle them down the stairs, or he would ward them off with a knife. It would work for him until someone else would be able to get there. Which, first chance he got then he would have to send a text to someone on his speed dial to help him. Seeing as it was mostly the leader's panel on his speed dial. Well, his sister was on it too, but she could help just as easily as any of the other members on the leader's panel. He would feel a bit bad calling his little sister for help though, and besides he was avoiding telling her about the fact that he had broken his nose. While that wasn't avoidable forever, he did spend most of his time in the stair well, so thus he had avoided it so far. Only problem was that he wouldn't be able to avoid it forever.
Anyway, he was stuck on the stairs for a shift and was fiddling with the finger print scanner him and Oliver had been working on. So far all it had done was scan off a few fingerprints, and he doubted that would be helpful or appreciated. Especially considering if you did not have fingerprints then how were you supposed to get into the room to begin with. Though, he did suppose it was possible that a few members may have accidentally burned theirs off or something. He would have to think about that a little more, maybe come up with something that scans your eye, but he didn't exactly want to test that if he couldn't get the fingerprint scanner working. The senior did not want to make himself blind or something on accident. That would be rather bad, and he was not going to screw around with something like that. That might be something he would have to buy rather than make. Probably would be less of a hassle if he had just bought a fingerprint scanner and programmed it actually. It was then he heard footsteps, and so he looked up and pulled the knife out of his pocket. Now he just had to wait and see who it was walking up. After all it could certainly be a bored member of RSOR or it could be someone trying to break into the room.

keep it together in the family they're a reminder of your history CÉCILE INGOT ==================================== Cecile had a habit of swinging by the staircase since the whole key accident had occurred. She never knew if Skylar would be there or in his room, not to mention Isa and anyone else on the leader’s panel. Cecile noticed Isa’s absence the most because she was her roommate, but Skylar was the one who was more interested in today. Nothing escaped Cecile’s notice within RSOR anymore, and certainly not when Skylar was involved. She had heard all about the fight between Oz and Isa, but more importantly, all about her brother’s broken nose. And she wasn’t about to let it sit that he hadn’t spoken a word to her since it had happened. She was furious that she had found out so late about something so close to home.
In fact, she had been approached by more than a few people about it. Cecile was used to being known in RSOR as Skylar’s little sister, instead of as her own separate being. She was okay with it too, as she had always looked up to her brother throughout her life. And sometimes she did want some liberty from that but onto the important part…everyone reported it back to her, asking what had happened or telling her what had happened if they had been there or talked with Skylar directly. How was it that he couldn’t just walk up and tell her? It was so frustrating! And he was about to find out just how frustrating it was for Cecile.
As Cecile rounded the corner she noted her brother working on some contraption as per usual. She had seen him work on this particular one before, but that didn’t stop her. Her pace never slowed as she walked right up to them, her irritation all over her face. Cecile had never been good at hiding how she was feeling about anything. She noted the knife in his hand but merely ignored it. It wasn’t like Skylar was going to hurt her.
She stopped about two feet in front of him, liking that he was sitting and she was standing so she towered over him for a change. ”Skylar! You didn’t even tell me!? I have been approached by everyone today, asking what happened or being told how you smashed your face on the stairs. Did you ever think of telling your little sister before the masses did?”
She said, her tone angry and bubbling. Cecile didn’t deal with anger well, and neither did Skylar really. It was a mutual trait, and hers was just irritation so far, though it sounded like much worse, as was the usual with Cecile’s temper. But if the answer she received was the wrong one she was certain to blow a gasket. ”Mom is going to have a fit, and you can bet you are going to get yelled at. We are going to have to go through the whole ‘fall down the stairs’ conversation all over again, and I have to cover your ass all over again. At this rate I am going to need to give you a bloody helmet!!” Cecile continued, her anger still lacing through her tone, along with a little sarcasm at the last part about the helmet. She wasn’t pleased, and that was never a good thing with Cecile. She tended to get a bit unruly when she was unhappy. I have you breathing down my neck I don't what you could possibly expect under this condition soI'll wait for the ambulance to come Pick us up off the floor Once his sister rounded the corner he slipped the knife back into it's case and waited for her to yell at him for breaking his nose. After all, he knew he could not avoid it forever, and this school was pretty known for telling everyone everything about every person. Honestly it was quite obnoxious, but there was nothing he could do to stop it. If a bunch of people were going to tell his sister what happened or ask her what happened he wasn't going to be able to stop them. If people were not so interested in everyone else's business then he probably would have been able to get away with not telling her for a bit longer, but she had showed up, and she had now seen the bandage so there was no avoiding it. Ah well, he was going to have to tell her and mom eventually anyway, and the longer he waited the more likely he would get in trouble for it. So the boy gave a sigh and listened to what she was shouting at him. This time he was not going to get pissed at her due to the fact that it was kind of his fault for not telling her right away. He had a feeling that if he started being sarcastic he was going to get smacked though. Might be worth it just because it would be hilarious when she calmed down. Apparently though she had been approached by a ton of people either asking or telling her what had happened. Wow, could nobody mind their own damn business anymore? If he wanted everyone to know then wouldn't he have broadcast it openly rather than not telling everyone on the planet? Apparently, people did not see it that way, and he didn't really understand why. What was wrong with giving people a right to privacy? Seriously, not everything is the business of everyone else. If it weren't for the fact they stressed super secrecy then everyone probably would know about RSOR already.
So the normally taller boy looked up at his little sister from where he was sitting. Did she think yelling down at him was going to make a difference or something? "I would love to know how it's my fault everyone wants in on something that is none of their business by telling you. I would also love to know how it is my fault everyone told you before I did. Seriously, I cannot control who tells you first and I've been slightly loopy on pain killers. Besides, it's not that big of a deal. It's just a broken nose, not like it's the first time I've been injured." he said with a shrug. Honestly it was just no big deal to the boy and he couldn't see why she was making such a mountain out of a mole hill. It was cartilage, and it would heal eventually. It wasn't as if he had broken his leg or something that was a bone and thus keep him from doing things for a while. Nope, it was just his nose, and so he would continue to do whatever he had done before. He just had to make sure he didn't scratch at the bandages too much because it hurt a bit. So, now he was in a slight predicament being that she would force him to talk to his mother soon, and he wasn't sure what to do to convince her that he actually fell down the stairs again. Why the woman did not believe him was beyond him, after all he had fallen down the stairs hundreds of times at home, and while typically he didn't have to go to the hospital for them, it wasn't as if that had just started when he came to this school. Apparently his current life mother just did not trust him in the slightest for whatever reason. It probably had something to do with the fact that he was technically a legal adult here and thus did not have to necessarily tell her everything he was doing. Mainly he hadn't told her he was dating Lex, but that was something he might not tell her for quite some time. He just was not sure how she would take it after all. So thus he was just not going to tell her he was seeing anyone at all let alone that he actually liked guys. He was pretty sure his sister knew, thanks to the wizard, and as long as she didn't tell their parents he was fine for now.
So he gave another sigh and decided to answer her second statement. " Also, how is it my fault that mom doesn't believe me? It isn't as if I've lied to her before. I have fallen down the stairs countless times, and now that I'm doing so away from home she does not believe me? How hard is it to believe I can be sent to the hospital from falling down stairs that are not carpeted? Seriously, I don't even care if she believes me anymore that's her choice to do so." he said with a shrug. That was certainly going to be an obnoxious conversation on the phone. He'd probably end up yelling at the woman in French or something too. So thus he would be trying to avoid that conversation for as long as possible. He was just pretty sure his sister was going to make him have that conversation ahead of schedule.

keep it together in the family they're a reminder of your history CÉCILE INGOT ==================================== Cecile’s temper was in check for the time being, and though she was ticked and irritated she wasn’t to the point of no return. If Skylar had responded with yelling then it would have escalated, naturally. But the response without bite to it meant she was able to simmer, which was always a good thing. Cecile’s temper was bad enough when no one was egging it on. And those who encouraged it always regretted it later, or at least for a day until she forgave them and dropped what had happened.
Cecile hadn’t considered the people who had approached her as nosey. She had been too preoccupied with the fact that her brother had come to harm and hadn’t mentioned it in any way or form. She was irritated that they kept asking her questions like she was expected to know about the issue and felt almost silly telling everyone she didn’t know, though she did instead say it was none of their business.
She bit her lip in irritation as he responded, what he was saying was at least a bit logical, and even she couldn’t argue with that. ”It may not be your fault that everyone wants in on the details. And it is none of their business, but it’s still annoying…”
she explained. ”You should have called me, or had someone call me, right after it happened. You ended up at the hospital! How can you say it isn’t your fault you didn’t tell me? You could have controlled who told me first if you had called me as soon as you could, after you dealt with it!” She added, her tone not as angry anymore, but still a bit more heated than her neutral tone. ”Loopy? Have you done anything strange?” she asked, smiling deviously, her anger forgotten when thinking of the humour. ”Any funny photos or video at least?” Cecile added, her grin growing. She frowned a moment, but it was only a half frown as her smile was still partially pushing through. ”Breaking your nose is not a ‘just’, but I guess it isn’t the first time…” Cecile shook her head. ”You know, you should care a little more that your nose is broken. It’s not a good thing to have a broken nose and it isn’t common to break your nose falling down stairs. Hell! It’s not common to fall down stairs as often as you do!” Cecile added, giving him a suspicious look. ”What did you do to the stairs to make them treat you this way?” Cecile was naturally more aware of Skylar’s relationship with Lex than the rest of the family. But she was also around the school, and she made sure she was buzzing around Skylar often enough. Lex seemed close with Skylar so it wasn’t a leap for the girl. She suspected before she had proof, but proof wasn’t too had. Hell, even that Wizard bastard had gathered something more from their friendship. She may not have been told, and she may not have seen any damning evidence, but she was as positive as she needed to be. It was enough for her. And like she cared if her brother was gay, straight or asexual. He was still her brother…it didn’t change a thing. ”I will vouch for you that you fell, but you really have to call mom soon. If you don’t call her in the next three days, then you are on your own!” Cecile said. ”Plus if you wait to tell her she won’t care what I have to say anyways. You don’t keep a broken nose from your mother, even if she isn’t your first mother,” Cecile added, feeling safe in the fact that they were on the attic stairs and few people were out and about right now. She kept her tone low and quiet just in case. Cecile sighed, ”Plus, the sooner you get it out of the way the less time you’ll spend fretting over how the conversation will go and what will happen. So tell her soon! Got it?” Cecile added, making sure he heard her clear as day. Of course, there was no way he didn’t.[/blockquote][/blockquote] ==================================== •• Tag • Skylar Ingot •• •• Words • 697 •• •• Outfit • CLICK •• •• Lyrics • "Keep it Together" by Madonna ••

I have you breathing down my neck I don't what you could possibly expect under this condition soI'll wait for the ambulance to come Pick us up off the floor Skylar certainly knew better than to try and fuel Cecile’s temper, but that didn’t mean he did not do so sometimes. It depended on the situation, and if it was something he was going to disagree with her on then all hell would break loose. Otherwise though, he could generally disarm her temper if he felt like doing so. It was just an issue of being motivated to do so sometimes. If her temper was not directed at him then he really had no issue with letting her blow up on who ever and they could suffer the consequences for whatever they did. If it was directed at him, on the other hand, then he did tend to try and get her to calm down so he did not end up punched in the face or something. He did tend to pride himself on being hard to argue with at times, but that was mostly because he had a high opinion of himself at times. Hey, he knew he did and he couldn’t care less what others had to say about that matter. Anyway though, he should probably continue to defuse the situation by explaining to Cecile that just because people wanted gossip didn’t mean he wasn’t going to tell her. Though, honestly he had not been exactly keen on the idea of telling her to begin with, still though he knew she was going to find out way before he had to worry about that fact, thus he hadn’t mentioned it.
He listened to her talk and just shrugged when she said it was still annoying. She said it like there was something that he could even remotely done about that. Her next statement made him smirk slightly, yeah that would have been a hilarious phone call considering hardly anyone could understand him after it happened. ”After it happened I walked in on your one roommate beating the shit out of Oz, and your other roommate was convinced I was speaking Arabic so calling you would have been relatively pointless. I doubt you would have really understood a word I said over the phone. I figured one of them would mention it seeing as I couldn’t exactly talk clearly, apparently not though.” he said with a bit of a sigh. Well, he wasn’t sure on whether or not Isa or Talia would have mentioned it to her honestly, but obviously they didn’t and he had to say Isa probably had other things to worry about. Talia, on the other hand, would probably just not do him any favors ever. He wasn’t sure she liked him very much, but then again he was pretty sure she only liked Carter and Isa at times.
Her next statement earned her a look that just said seriously? and he figured that it was answer enough, but he would make sure of that. ”No, not that I’m aware of I don’t react that weirdly to pain killers and just slept mostly. Probably had a strange conversation with my roommate, but I don’t know you would have to ask him.” he noted with a shrug. Then she stated that breaking his nose wasn’t a just, but to him it kind of was. He’d certainly done so before, and it just didn’t bother him at this point. He had accepted his relationship with stairs sucked, and so he would continue to be injured on them and not bother with details of it. ”I have no idea. Maybe I offended them somehow in my last life….?” he noted as a bit of a reincarnate joke. He was hoping that she would finally give him an actual smile rather than the sour look she had been giving him since she appeared on the stairway to the attic. After all, that would mean that he successfully stopped her temper and she could finally drop the subject maybe and they could talk about something other than his broken nose.
Then, of course, Cecile had to go and bring up the fact that he had to tell their parents. He doubted his father would care that much, but their mother was another story. Edison was definitely not looking forward to that lecture. Seeing as it always ended up as a lecture for some reason or another. He sighed and just looked at Cecile. ”Just because you are willing to vouch does not mean I’m going to be looking forward to the lecture that is sure to ensue about irresponsibility. I’m completely responsible, I have just obviously done something to offend the stairs, but I doubt she’ll take that as an excuse.” he said with another sigh. She did have a bit of a point about how he would spend less time fretting over the conversation if he got it over with in the first place. ”Fine, but I’m putting her on speaker so I don’t have to hold the phone near my ear.” he noted with a frown because he had a feeling screaming would start the second he said by the way mom I broke my nose. Thus he ended up pulling out his phone and dialed his mother. This, was going to be unpleasant.

keep it together in the family they're a reminder of your history CÉCILE INGOT ==================================== Cecile had lived with Skylar her whole second life and she was used to the two of them arguing. He was good at tempering her anger, but only as good as she let him be. The more angered she was the harder it was for Skylar to do anything of consequence to calm her down. That was to be expected of course. It also helped Cecile got over things quickly, which made the whole issue quite simple when thought about. She always got over it and it didn’t take much for her to get over it, just a good night’s sleep usually. Though, some things kept her temper for a few days that was the most she held on to anything. Otherwise, surely, Skylar and Cecile would have issues getting along.
Cecile gave Skylar as a sceptical look but held her tongue as he explained. She had heard about the incident with Oz and from the audio track could assume Skylar was telling the truth about that part. What? She watched the YouTube video Talia posted. So sue her….
Cecile nodded, ”Fine. But then you get someone else to call me. It’s not rocket science!!”
she said, sounding exasperated. ”If you had asked them to tell me no assumptions had to be made it would be closer to guaranteed. Plus, you honestly think any of them thought to drop me a line?” Cecile said, giving him a disbelieving look. She didn’t hold it against Talia or Isa. It was Skylar’s fault…end of story. Cecile looked almost disappointed a moment. ”Aww, and I wanted video. Would have been amusing to get some loopy on film.” She said. She didn’t consider even hunting down his roommate and that could wait till later if she felt like pursuing it. But a conversation was all hearsay and she wanted hard evidence. Plus, it would have been awesome to have a video of her brother hopped up on pain killers. She couldn’t help the eyebrow that shot up when he said maybe he’d offended them in the past. ”Did your foot ever go through a step? Did you destroy a staircase? Did you trip on one and scuff it or in any way harmed another staircase? Falling doesn’t count…” she asked with a grin at the idea of pursuing that line of possibilities…naturally she got the joke but chose to elaborate in her own way. A slight smile was now tugging at the sides of her mouth but hadn’t yet erupted. She paused and watched him expectantly as he went on about telling their parents. ”Well then stop falling for the staircases!” she said as if the answer was so simple. She was surprised when he offered to put mom on speaker but Cecile nodded encouragingly. ”Okay. Not a problem!” She added confidently. She watched the phone and waited for the inevitable voice on the other end.[/blockquote][/blockquote] ==================================== •• Tag • Skylar Ingot •• •• Words • 482 •• •• Outfit • CLICK •• •• Lyrics • "Keep it Together" by Madonna ••

I have you breathing down my neck I don't what you could possibly expect under this condition soI'll wait for the ambulance to come Pick us up off the floor Skylar was very good at pushing buttons when he wanted to, and he was also good at calming his sister’s temper at times. Seemed it only worked if he hadn’t pushed her buttons too much though. Ah well, he liked walking on that line between annoying someone and outright pissing them off. Besides, he had quite the temper himself and when he was irritated he stopped caring about walking on the line and jumped over it as much as possible. He could be very harsh when annoyed and was not exactly the easiest person to calm down. Unlike his sister he could hold a temper for longer than just overnight. It really depended on the issue, but he could keep a grudge if someone had irritated him enough. Raven was a good example of someone who he held a grudge against. Sure it may not have been entirely his fault that he was insane, but that wasn’t going to stop Skylar from being a jerk to him. Probably wasn’t his best plan, seeing as Raven was probably stronger than him, but it was what he was going with. Besides, he was pretty sure he had considerably better backup than the other senior did. That might not be true though, seeing as some people seemed to be tolerating Raven better now. Ah well, he’d worry about the consequences of his actions later just like always. He noticed the skeptical look he was getting and just shrugged. Hey, he could prove he was there being that the video ended up on youtube and you could vaguely hear him in the background. Not that what he was saying was mostly intelligible, but still he was there.
Hearing her statement he just frowned slightly. ”Actually, I thought Isa would think of it. Talia I’m pretty sure wouldn’t but, Isa at least. Though I guess she had other things to deal with or something. Also, who am I going to get to call you when I am unable to speak, and not allowed to use phones while getting patched up at a hospital, then loopy and not able to remember simple things. When you are loopy, simple things feel like rocket science.” he asked her with a sigh. Sure he probably wasn’t going to win that argument, but at least he had a decent reason rather than he just forgot. Then it seemed that she was slightly disappointed that his loopy was not caught on film. He just rolled his eyes slightly at her. ”Considering the number of bruises I have, either I fell down a lot or I got them when I rolled down the stairs, I’m not entirely sure.” he noted with a shrug. Well, he was notoriously uncoordinated, but where he got the bruises he wasn’t sure. Certainly he couldn’t have only hit his face off the stairs after all, but still there were kind of a lot for just falling down the stairs.
Her next question stumped him for a moment. Had he ever broken a staircase in either life? He honestly wasn’t sure. ”Not that I remember, but it is entirely possible. Either that or I was just cursed with a lack of coordination in this life for some reason.” he noted with a bit of a shrug. Sure there were plenty of reasons he could have been cursed, stealing inventions was one of them, but he wasn’t going to get into that. Besides, just because he got the patent first didn’t mean he necessarily stole it. Anyway, he wasn’t going to think about that and instead was going to worry about the fact that he had to call his mother. Hearing her say he needed to stop falling for staircases he just gave her a look of not amused. ”I do not fall for staircases. I fall on them you loon, and I can’t help it I feel like they are out to get me.” he said pouting at her slightly. Then he dialed his mother and left it on speaker. When she picked up he frowned slightly and then decided he better get it over with. ”Hi mom, I fell down the stairs again and broke my nose.” he said bluntly. There was a moment of silence before the screaming started about how he needed to quit lying about these things and that if he was getting in fights at school he needed to just tell her. ”No, seriously I got in a fight with a staircase by falling down it. I am not having problems I’m just uncoordinated.” he said with a bit of irritation.

keep it together in the family they're a reminder of your history CÉCILE INGOT ==================================== Cecile and Skylar got along decently but perhaps part of their friendship came from the annoyance and anger. Cecile would be lying to say that at times she did enjoy a good reason to yell at Skylar. But ultimately, the majority of the time it was pure anger and that was all there was to it. It depended on the situation. In this instance she had been angry and more than happy to be angry at him. It was something worth getting pissed off about, but not enough to bother her in a complete begrudging way.
Cecile shook his head. ”Talia wouldn’t tell me jack just to piss me off. I hate her so much. She is such a dirty piece of trash…”
Cecile said with conviction. She meant what she said. That was how she felt about Talia. She saw her as a good for nothing piece of trash, and also a bit on the borderline-slutty side with all her flirting. She was good for nothing and was nothing short of rude and obnoxious. Didn’t help the two of them didn’t get along. ”Well how about after the fact? A message in blood couldn’t have hurt!” Cecile added with a small smirk of amusement. The first part had been said in complete seriousness. ”Either way, at the hospital you could have had someone call me, or you could have tried giving me a call after you left the hospital. You are not off the hook. No way in hell!” Cecile stressed. Cecile laughed when he wasn’t sure about breaking a staircase. ”Well I think it is safe to say you haven’t. If you had I imagine you’d remember it.” She said, very much amused. ”Okay, well did you piss off any practitioners of the dark arts? Accused witches? Or and deity that exists in the great beyond.” Cecile asked, trying to appear serious in her questioning but failing at it. She personally believed more in what she could do verses organized religious beliefs. Though, she did once believe in God. That wasn’t the case anymore, seeing as reincarnation isn’t exactly part of that religious sect, not to mention all the contradictions. Cecile shrugged with another very amused grin. ”Fall for them, fall on them…same thing. Either way you see a staircase, you fall, it catches you.” Cecile laughed at his pout. ”They are just trying to show their affections!! The poor staircases!” She added. Things got more serious when Skylar dialed their mother. Cecile had several ways she took after her mother, then again so did Skylar. Funny considering they both existed in a life before this one. Yet, still Cecile didn’t have this temper the first time around. Her freedom in this life had certainly changed her that much was clear and her mother and father this time around did influence that change. Cecile held her breath as the yelling started. She said in barely a whisper but enough that Skylar would hear and their mother would not, ”Couldn’t have been more tactful than that?” She let her mother yell up her storm and when Skylar insisted that it is indeed what happened Cecile added, ”Mom!! He really did fall. He’s too much of a wuss to get into a fight…except with me. Next time can I be the one who breaks his nose?!” She asked, partly trying to defuse the situation and also trying to back Skylar. She was his little sister after all and she wanted to look out for him as much as he would her.[/blockquote][/blockquote] ==================================== •• Tag • Skylar Ingot •• •• Words • 591 •• •• Outfit • CLICK •• •• Lyrics • "Keep it Together" by Madonna ••

I have you breathing down my neck I don't what you could possibly expect under this condition soI'll wait for the ambulance to come Pick us up off the floor Skylar was definitely the type of person that was irritating at the best of times. He didn’t always mean to be, but at times he just got on nerves with his attitude towards others ¬. The boy knew that there were times when he was just absolutely ridiculous, but being that they were part of his personality, there wasn’t much he could do about it. Thus people were left rather annoyed at him on a regular basis. He, on the other hand, was fine with this usually being that it gave him more time to fill with random projects he was doing that he wouldn’t otherwise have time for. Then again he did try to not piss off some people being that then he would get punched in the face and yelled at by his mother for getting punched in the face even if he deserved it. Ah well, not much he could do unless he wanted to become a mute or something. Anyway he heard Cecile talk about Talia and shrugged. ”She’s definitely difficult I’ll give you that. Then again there are certainly worse people you could deal with.” he noted with a bit of a frown. Raven came to mind with that statement, but he didn’t want smacked so he was going to keep his mouth shut this time. After all she was going to help him with their mother so he didn’t want to piss her off yet. Note he said yet, he was completely fine with pissing her off after, but that was just how they worked as siblings. Annoyed the hell out of each other but they did really love one another. Hearing her statement about a message in blood he just raised an eyebrow and cave her a look that said ‘seriously?’ ”I’ll be sure to keep that in mind for next time. You’ll be getting a message in blood. Maybe I’ll even just write it on your door. I’m sure Isa will love that” he noted with a hint of sarcasm in his voice. ”Phones aren’t allowed at the hospital, the signal messes with the equipment and causing a death because you need a phone call isn’t high on my priority list. After the hospital, maybe but I just wanted to go sleep.” he noted with a sigh and a bit of a pout.
Hearing her next statement he smiled again. ”Probably, maybe I painted one the wrong color and it got offended.” he stated with a smirk. Hearing her next statement he laughed. ”Well, I have pissed a lot of people off, whether they were practicing the dark arts or not I don’t know. That type of thing doesn’t come into normal conversation you know. As for deities….maybe they are mad that I get a second time around?” he said while shaking his head and laughing a bit. He eyed her a bit when she said falling on and falling for were the same thing. ”Being that I’m not in love with staircases I think it’s a bit different.” he noted then she said they were just trying to show affections. ”Yeah? Well, they’re doing it wrong.” he noted with a shrug. Which, in a way was very true, showing your affections with pain was certainly the wrong way to go about it. At least, as far as he was concerned it was, but maybe not everyone felt that way.
He then dialed their mother and informed her he fell and broke his nose again. Hearing Cecile ask if he couldn’t be more tactful he grinned a bit then whispered back ”I am the king of tactful I have no idea what you are talking about.” he said trying to hide a laugh. Then she said he was too much of a wuss to get into a fight. Now that was not nice, but it was probably true, and then she asked if she could break his nose. ”Whaiiii you’re so mean Cecile, wanting to break my nose. Sadfaceee.” he said with a bit of a pout at her. He wasn’t sure if she was serious, but it seemed they had managed to derail their mother for now and she just sighed and said they would discuss his balance issues later before saying goodbye and hanging up. ”Well, now she knows. Happy? Also, I would prefer if you didn’t break my nose.” he said with a frown at his little sister. He would be most displeased if she did break his nose.

keep it together in the family they're a reminder of your history CÉCILE INGOT ==================================== If you asked Cecile, she’d describe her brother as an annoying, arrogant pain in her ass. Does that mean Skylar is those things? Not necessarily but she didn’t just get those traits from nowhere. She saw Skylar as a pest a lot of the time and worse, sometimes she saw him as sitting astride his high horse thinking his way was the only right way. That was just natural of a little sister however. Cecile just had better vocabulary with which to label him and arrogant was the closest to actuality. She could say he was bossy, but Skylar didn’t really fall into those grounds either. It was a balance of giving his opinion, thinking it is the only right one, but not pushing Cecile to necessarily obey it. Or maybe it was more like Cecile wouldn’t obey it?
Cecile furrowed her brow as she considered who he was referring to. ”I can’t think of anyone. I think Talia is the worst for difficulty and irritation,”
She insisted. She didn’t think of Raven. He just didn’t come to mind. Then again Cecile didn’t deal with him directly. She missed London due to the fact that they didn’t have a wax figure of her. She had slept through events. Cecile had been more than a little bummed out and that meant she also had few run ins with him since. She just heard things, and that meant she didn’t really give him a second thought. It’s true, Skylar did want Cecile to vouch for him. Cecile didn’t fall down every set of stairs she saw and their parents didn’t think she was getting into fights and trouble in school after all. She had the good girl thing going with their parents. At least so far. Her voice did mean something when she said he actually did something. Though, it was still possible their mother would think she was just siding with him for some other completely unrelated reason. Cecile didn’t really realize yet that he was agreeing for primarily this reason. Cecile didn’t back down as he gave her a look about the message in blood. She kept a look that said “Yes! Seriously!” even though she didn’t mean it all that seriously. Cecile nodded her head when he said she’d get one next time. ”I better! It’ll mean your ass if I am not told and there is no message in blood.” She said, trying not to laugh. She managed alright but the smile broke across her face just the same. Then Skylar mentioned the door and Isa and Cecile just laughed. ”I’d love to see her face. If you do that take an extra few minutes to set up a camera for me so I can see her reaction. Kay?” Cecile added with a devious grin. Cecile put on a mocking pout. ”Dwaaah. Poor ickle Skylar needed a nappy nap?” She mocked. ”You still should have contacted me.” she insisted. Cecile laughed when he offered that maybe he painted one the wrong color. ”Perhaps someone didn’t like the paint job as much as the staircase didn’t and teamed up with the staircase using their dark arts to trip you as the stair case punched you in the face. And the Deities that are pissed for you having a second life decided to let it happen just to mock you and laugh at you?” Cecile offered, by a miracle maintaining a straight face until the end of it where she started laughing. Cecile cackled with laughter as Skylar tore apart the ‘falling for the stairs’ theory. ”Tell the stairs that. They seem to disagree” she managed to squeeze out between fits of laughter. His reaction was enough to amuse her... Cecile snorted as she tried to suppress her laughter at Skylar’s “king of tactful” comment. All the laughter before this piling up to make preventing laughter that much harder. Cecile shrugged at him when he said she was so mean. ”I just want a turn. The stairs keep beating me to it!” Cecile said with a devious grin but her tone was quite sweet for their mother’s benefit. “Bye mom! Love you!!” Cecile said before her mom ended the call. ”Yes I am happy. She needed to know. I’ll try to keep not breaking your nose in mind if it ever comes to a fist fight, fair?” Cecile laughed. I have you breathing down my neck I don't what you could possibly expect under this condition soI'll wait for the ambulance to come Pick us up off the floor Skylar was described as a lot of things, and he wasn’t sure why some people thought of him one way while others thought of him differently. Cecile, honestly, probably had the most accurate description of him even if it was a pain in the ass. That was what brothers were for was it not? That was the impression he was under after all, they were supposed to annoy their sibling and protect them. Thus, he was attempting to do both even if he wasn’t that great at it. Sure she could probably protect herself for the most part, but he was still going to look out for her. This was why he worried when she hung out with someone like Raven. Sure, he knew Raven could be charming at times, but he was convinced that the other senior was faking that part of his personality. It certainly wouldn’t be unheard of for someone who was a serial killer to pretend to be something they weren’t. Thus, he would definitely worry about Cecile hanging out with him no matter how nice he was to her.
It seemed though that she couldn’t come up with anyone who was hard to deal with. He certainly could, but then again he didn’t get along with a lot of people. ”I think Oliver can be very irritating at times, and several others.” he stated not wanting to get punched for stating that Raven was hard to deal with. Skylar was convinced that he just enjoyed being irritating ninety percent of the time and the other ten percent he was nice out of spite. That probably wasn’t the case, but that was what Skylar was convinced of. Ah well, nothing he could do about it other than make her feel better once she realized he was crazy and obnoxious. He, indeed, was hoping that she would realize this at some point to being that he was sure Raven couldn’t keep up that act forever could he? Hopefully not otherwise he was going to have to really step in at some point. He was doubtful on his ability to scare Raven though so that might even be pointless. Clearly his opinion couldn’t sway Cecile, so what could he even do about it?
At the look she was giving about a message in blood he just blinked at her and replied that he would be sure to give her one and that Isa would totally appreciate it. More like the girl would probably flip something serious. Then a smile broke across her face and he chuckled. Then Cecile stated that she would love to see the look on Isa’s face at a message in blood. ”Even if it’s just fake blood I’ll be sure to set up a camera to catch her reaction, because that would be the most hilarious prank ever I think.” he noted thinking about it slightly. Talia’s face might even be priceless from that if she saw it. He would ponder doing that at some point just for funsies, though explaining it to a teacher might be a little difficult. Especially if it didn’t come off all the way being that it did have a tendency to stain. He was perfectly alright with painting over it though so that was not an issue.
Her mocking him made him eye her slightly. ”Yes, don’t judge. Let’s break your nose, give you pain killers and then see how social you want to be.” he pointed out crossing his arms and eyeing her. Pain killers could make you very sleepy depending on which ones they were. Then he heard the laugh as he stated that possibly he painted one the wrong color. These guesses were getting a little crazy being that she was suggesting a staircase teaming up with someone who practiced the dark arts. He was pretty sure that such a thing wasn’t even possible, and then the deities were mad and cursing him as well. At that point, he was pretty sure he would just be dead rather than clumsy. ”I think that is nonsensical.” he stated simply as she started laughing.
Hearing her statement about telling the stairs that, he shook his head. ”I am not going to talk to a staircase, that is insane.” he said with a smile. ”Besides, I would not date the stairs seems like an abusive relationship.” he noted simply after another moment of thought. Then he watched as she was doing her best to suppress her laughter when he stated that he was the king of tactful. Hey, he thought he was and just shrugged and she had the same reaction when he stated that she was mean for wanting to break his nose. ”Then take that up with the stairs.” he noted simply. There, she could talk to the stairs and he wouldn’t look insane. Then she said bye and that she was happy about him telling her and she would keep not breaking his nose in mind if it came to a fist fight. ”I suppose.” he noted with a roll of his eyes.
