Personal Style: Emri will wear pretty much anything but at the same time she has some things she will not wear. Animal products such as real leathers and furs, any symbol she hasn’t checked into the background of and any shoe with a heel on it, for fear that some evil force will push her over if she wears them. She is also fussy about gem stones she will wear based on their various properties and she avoids wearing brown believing it to instigate laziness.
Appearance: Emri is thin and slight, with barely a figure to her. She is moderate height and holds herself differently depending on the circumstance as sometimes she appears confident, other times timid and sometimes her posture suggests she isn’t all there. She has a slightly careless appearance, leaving her with mismatched clothes and often almost erratic looking accessory combinations.
Emri has a rounded face with a mousey nose. She has a very thin set of lips and dark eyes that stand out on her very pale skin. She has long eye lashes and thin, angled eyebrows. Her hair is dark and wavy, coming down in thick and puffy waves. Her hair often looks unruly and messy, much like the rest of her slightly unkempt look. She tends to wear mismatched make-up as well, not necessarily matching her clothes or the formality of the clothes she is wearing.

Secret(s): She doesn’t have many friends, but likes to pretend she has many because it makes her feel better.
Personality:
SOCIAL: Emie is not afraid to talk to anyone. She will walk up to total strangers and talk to them. She doesn’t mind talking to animals, inanimate objects and what appears to be no one but is generally what she perceives as spirits. She is extremely friendly and willing to befriend anyone who will befriend her but because of her unusual nature, she doesn’t generally have many friends.
SUPERSTITIOUS: If you hadn’t figured this out so far, I’d be surprised. Emri is VERY superstitious believing strongly in karma, luck, spirits and evil powers beyond the natural world. She has a strong believe in the power of gem stones, talismans and spirit wards as well as good luck charms. She has many things she will not do because of this superstitious mind set but it also goes hand in hand with a compulsion that she has.
OCD: Emie has developed an OCD for the very things that make her paranoid. She has a compulsive affinity for the number 13 and requires 13 be present with some things and absent with others. She has a compulsive need to run down hallways instead of walk for fear of the spirits in those hallways and when she doesn’t follow her superstitious rules she gets very anxious and essentially becomes a bit spazztastic.
NAÏVE: Naturally Emie comes across as Naïve. She is very gullible and tends to be completely oblivious to some matters. Unless you spell it out she generally doesn’t understand what you are talking about. This becomes a particular issue when it comes to RSOR because she struggles to understand and remember the code that RSOR uses when speaking in front of Normals. As a result it is generally easier not to talk about RSOR around her, unless the area is guaranteed to be normal free.
SLOW Emri is very slow at picking up on things. Directions, implications, humour it all takes her a moment to process. She isn’t unintelligent just socially a little on the slower side for understanding and making sense of what she is told. Emri needs things spelled out as I previously mentioned and she tends to overlook a lot of things, making her seem airheaded or dim.
ACADEMIC Emri may be slow and understanding things and sometimes very naïve but academically she does very well. She doesn’t necessarily need to know why she is doing something to do it and as a result she gets really good marks. Her unusual logic actually helps her to better understand most subjects. The only mark she suffers in is Physical Education.
FORGETFUL This is an understatement. Emie is VERY forgetful and tends to drop short term things like they are nothing. She can remember academic stuff long term, but as soon as it is short term memory of things she needs to get done, it’s like she is a gold fish. She also hasn’t been to the RSOR room in a long time because she forgot the attic stairs lead anywhere (meaning she also tends to confuse her past life with her current life, and directions are the worst for her memory).
ABSENT MINDED She seems to be in a constant daze or constantly day dreaming. She appears to be constantly focusing on what is not there instead of reality and often her confusion between this life and her previous life means she is not entirely present in this reality and is lost in the past. She tends to struggle with focusing and it’s far from being manageable at this point. This almost goes hand in hand with her forgetfulness.
IMPULSIVE For someone with a short term memory, there is no longer term thinking about things. She does what she feels like doing when it hits her. She often does completely erratic or unexplainable things for no reason, or will go to do something and change her mind a million times about how to do it or what to do. Generally, she is not very reliable as a result.
GIVING/CARING Emie is a very caring and giving person. She sees that everyone else fails to look after their own luck, karma and spiritual protection and is always trying to give people a way to protect themselves. She loves to give and help people and if you need anything all you have to do is ask her. If it is within her power to do what you need done, she will do it.

History:
Emri was born on a winter evening and quite unexpectedly. She wasn’t scheduled for another two weeks and had surprised her parents early. She was they pocket of joy, a planned child and what both of her parents had wanted for some time. Her mother had put off having kids for a while for fear of Derek leaving, but in the end it was for nothing, because the baby girl brought them closer together instead of pulling them apart.
Emie was a strange child from the start. She was also fussy and the team work required from her parents was intense. She wouldn’t sleep unless she was elevated and often this meant being held. She would cry excessively and was a high maintenance baby. Even as a toddler she hated being stuck in one room and would much rather run around and wander. She constantly needed someone in the room with her, which was also taxing on her parents.
When Emri started school she had a lot of friends quite quickly. She had a wild imagination and her peers flocked to her to be a part of her make believe. She had all kinds of knowledge on how to play house and they loved how she changed the story. Some of her peers didn’t like her for the attention she gathered, that was to be expected, but Emri didn’t deal with bullying until she was a little older.
The bullying started in Grade 3 when the other kids grew tired of her fantasies. Her peers began teasing her excessively but it never bothered the girl. She barely noticed a lot of their jibes and soon they were blatantly calling her some vicious things. Sometimes Emie would go home crying but mostly she would throw it back at them, often shoving other students. This was the first instance of Emie getting in trouble as a child.
This didn’t stop Em from telling stories though and at first her teachers were amused by her tales and how strangely accurate some of her historical content was. But as she got older this changed. It was in Grade 7 when her teacher drew attention to this habit Emie had of telling tall tales. They mentioned how it was unusual that she was so enthralled in fantasy and were concerned for her mindset. Especially with the compulsions she had just begun to start developing. Many of these compulsions were always there but the attention to them was not made until this point in her life.
Her father was fine with his daughter telling funny stories. Her mother asked her why she was saying these things and whether she believed them. Emri had proceeded to tell her mother that it was true and that her stories happened to her. She also insisted that spirits were something people needed to be informed about. This led to 6 months of therapy where Emie learned that some people were not ready to accept her beliefs and her past and the stories stopped.
Emri graduated elementary school and was off to high school in no time. It wasn’t a huge feat for RSOR to recruit her as he didn’t hide who she was and her compulsions made her an obvious person to consider for being a possible reincarnate. Though, it took more than 6 months to work out who she was. Emie in the end practically told her recruiter that her name was Sarah Winchester when the end rolled around, Emri was invited into RSOR.
As a result older students recruited early would remember her well enough. But Emri hadn’t been to an RSOR meeting in two years. Soon she will remember that the stairs to the attic are not misleading stairs in the Winchester house but stairs that lead to an actual room. Those who know her to be a reincarnate may still have spoken to her outside of the RSOR room, but many of the newer RSOR members would be unaware of her as a reincarnate.
