Personal Style: He wears a lot of button down shirts, ties, and black jeans. He definitely doesn't have an average style considering he has a relatively normal personality. That has a lot to do with his past life style though being that he was a writer of many horrors and thus that darker style has carried to this life and that is why he got a tattoo. It may look to anyone else like he's just a fan of his own work, but to him it definitely is a way of tying himself to who he was in the past with a few new twists this time around. He has a tendency to bleach parts of his hair and wears it quite poofy and will occasionally have eyeliner on just for fun. It also completes his look and it lets him act like his normal self around several people even with that reincarnate bit influencing him. His own quirks will make him stand out, but not a lot.

Appearance: Av's hair usually covers his eyes and it sticks out in literally every direction at all times. He wakes up with it that way and the only time it's ever calm is right after he showers. After that he just fluffs it back up to normal and leaves it like that. His brown eyes usually are under the blonde part of the dark hair and he almost always looks like he's staring off into space. He also appears most of the time to dislike bright lights and wrinkles his nose when they are turned on unexpectedly. He prefers different colored lights or just the dark in general being that he seems to have a bit of light sensitivity in this life. This might have something to do with his darker style as well in this life.

He is about average height for someone his age, and average weight he's pretty pale from staying out of the sun most of the time. He will smile a lot and is pretty nice to most people. Otherwise though he will keep to himself unless someone else comes up to him, not because he's shy but because his head is in the clouds often. He's much more social when he has writer's block actually and that is how he gets over it. Either way he dresses pretty much the same every day with variations rarely and carries around a book and at least a pen, but if he's going up to the RSOR room he has a tendency to take a quill and ink instead of a pen.

Personality: Av is definitely one of your more quirky individuals, but even despite those he's fairly calm. Usually he's found in the shade or in a light that isn't a normal color writing something or other. A lot of what he writes is just nonsense and seem to be extremely rough drafts of what he is planning on writing. It switches between languages because he was brought up with four languages in this life so it becomes overly complicated and very hard to read depending on what he was writing. His journal is much the same way being that he does have secrets to keep after all. Though he used to put it in English in case his parents decided to snoop being that they didn't speak it. Though they were definitely confused as to how he knew it after all.


Anyway though he is definitely a very confusing individual at times, but he also is a wee bit insane due to the fact that he was in his past life. Despite that though he's pretty nice even if he is a bit weird and definitely one of the more calm people you will meet. He's also not exactly loud either preferring to keep to himself and write or be social in smaller groups of people. That being said though that changes if he starts drinking. He will be social with just about anyone until he ends up passing out, probably mid sentence, on his face. He knows he isn't supposed to be drinking after the disaster it turned his last life into. Still though old habits are hard to break after all so he occasionally will drink a lot of alcohol if he can get his hands on it. Which, back home was pretty easy, but here it's much more difficult so he's using that as an excuse to try and stop.

Despite his quirks he comes off as much more normal than most would expect. Sure he doesn't exactly act like a teenager, but still he acts like a pretty average guy who has bad or good moods like anyone else. He also has his ups and downs due to a little bit of left over depression from his last life along with an incident that caused his death, but otherwise he's pretty typical. He does decently in school and is social if someone talks to him first or isn't in a large group of people because that can be relatively intimidating at times and he'll end up stumbling over languages a bit because of the fact that he actually knows five in this life and that he's not used to huge groups of people. He is used to being left on his own and having one or two people talk to him at a time. That, and being that he's mildly insane it doesn't really help that any.

History:
Av was born to an interesting pair of people who met in college and stayed together through the years. Anyway though, they had a son and got married rather young and were relatively happy. Sure he was a little quirky at times, and could speak English when neither of them could, but they passed it off as him learning it from someone at school. He got along okay with other children and didn't seem to have any real issues at school. He seemed to take to writing rather well like he had been doing it forever and was always complimented on it even if it only made sense if you knew multiple languages or had a translator. Despite this nobody saw anything out of the ordinary, just thought he had inherited creativity from his mother's side and this was his way of expressing it. She actually designed a lot of his clothes and is the reason why he dresses as he does, besides it's just more comfortable and what he is used to from his past life.

The memories have always been there, but he didn't really piece them together until they read one of his works. Which, it clicked that it was, in fact, his work. From there he did much research on himself and just knew that he was Edgar Allan Poe. Which also brought back memories of how much he did enjoy alcohol. He would sneak it on and off and while he knew he shouldn't, he just couldn't help himself. The habit was a hard one to break and he was not doing well at avoiding it. The things he wrote while drunk did not make a bit of sense even to him and very little of it was fixed, he just left it how it was in a multitude of languages and tried to move on to something else. Eventually his parents discovered his enjoyment of alcohol and it was why they sent him to America for school. It was much harder for him to get his hands on it there and thus they hoped that the temptation would leave.

That worked only halfway being that it was still obtainable, but not as often. Thus he has a tendency to drink until he passes out when he gets a hold of it and then not waking up until the next night and missing class due to it. Anyway though he has gotten a little better, but it is a constant battle and due to some of his quirks he was recruited into the RSOR his sophomore year when he was drinking with a few reincarnates and ended up saying who he was. Since then he doesn't go up too often, but does every other time or so when he isn't distracted with writing too much. He's now a Junior and still trying to stop drinking, but he doesn't really have a ton of motivation to do so.
