Personal Style: Thally is often found in tighter fit pants that fit her form perfectly. She doesn’t favour jeans and usually avoids them except in very specific circumstances. She has a wide variety of shoes, and it is a guilty pleasure of hers to collect up shoes. She wears many stylish shirts, and tends to even stretch style to wear new unique sets that are not quite so usual.
Appearance: Thalia has very prominent cheek bones and jawline. She has plump, rounded cheeks and her chin comes to an almost elven looking rounded point. Her ears stick out a bit and her nose is a dominant feature on her face, being slightly larger than her other features. It is well rounded and comes to a point that fits her face perfectly. She has arching thin eyebrows and rounded expressive blue eyes.
Thalia enjoys styling her hair in various ways from elaborate pig tails to little braids and a bit of a shaggy, windblown look. She does her hair in small braids, pony tails, clipped upward, tree style pony tails, and any combination of them. It is harder to tell where her hair falls half the time, as she also uses extensions in her hair from time to time. Generally it appears like it goes to her shoulders, which would be accurate, but the extensions suggest otherwise.

Personality:
Social: She is a very friendly and social person but she gets along with certain types of people and not others. She has certain traits that are enough to make her walk away from a person right off the start. She will give anyone a chance but doesn’t like to see anyone upset or hurt by her either when she doesn’t want to be their friend. She has a harder time telling people no when it is something that may upset them.
Dreamer: Thalia is a dreamer through and through. She believes in a better place and sees the good in things before she sees the bad. She can see reality for what it is but prefers to look at the ugly and see it as beautiful. She loves scenery and nature, finding no season or natural phenomenon that she doesn’t love. She believes humanity has a hope, even when things seem to be going down a bad path. Ultimately, she sees a future with eyes clouded by what she dreams could be, when she should give more credence to reality.
Optimistic: This comes with being a dreamer and always leaves Thalia in a happy and cheerful mood. It takes a lot to dampen her mood and as a result she tends to view things in their best possible light. She prefers to give everyone second chances and though she even has her limit she prefers to see the good in someone long before she is forced to confront the bad.
Tolerant: Thally has a very strong sense of patience and she is very tolerant. She can sit and wait for someone to answer a question all day, and she is willing to deal with the negatives in a person to a ridiculous extent before dealing with them or confronting them. The only exception to this is she despises a late person and finds that turning up late is bad etiquette and very rude.
Well-Mannered: Thalia has a strict set of manners, and she follows proper etiquette. She keeps her elbows off the table, using her cutlery correctly, plays a polite and proper host and also tends to be a very respectful and friendly house guest. She expects the same from others as a result and good manners is enough to get you in her good books, though not enough to become her friend if your personality is not to her tastes.
Selfish: I use this term in ways that could be considered a good thing. Thalia is able to handle herself, is independent and believes that if someone doesn’t fit in her life effectively than she shouldn’t change for them and that instead they should find other people that fit in their lives and her others that fit in hers. She sees her life and will not change for anyone unless she wants to and as a result she can sometimes come across as selfish though this could also be called independence depending on the person.

History: Thalia was a beautiful baby born to a loving and unlikely couple. Her father was a farmer from a farming family and her mother a lawyer. From the time she was a baby her Grandmother and Grandfather lived with the family on their farm. When the farm had been passed to her father, they made a second house on the land for her grandparents and so Thalia spent a lot of time with them as her father and his farm helpers manned the farm.
She was a lovely young girl and naturally from the time she was three years old, her musician of a grandmother had begun to teach her Piano. About two years later the lessons in Violin also began, coinciding with Thalia’s beginning Kindergarten. She loved her family’s life and adored spending time outdoors and running around her family’s land. She was right from the start taught the values of plants and their life as well as that of animals. She became very attached to nature and she came by it naturally having been born into a long line of farmers.
Thalia loved growing up with her grandmother’s lessons and her Grandfather’s stories of WWII. She didn’t understand how hard it was for her grandfather to relay these stories and her grandmother always added to them, but she came to appreciate them as she got older. For her, they were one of the greatest gifts her grandfather gave her, and she would treasure them even more after her Grandfather’s passing.
Grandpa Kaddy passed on when Thalia was only 11 years old. The impact it had on her family was huge and it was the first big loss of Thalia’s life. The air was heavy with emotion for years following and her Grandma Nina was never the same. At that time, Grandma Nina came to live with them in their house on the property and they began renting her grandparents old house to a family who helped her dad on the farm. Thalia spent a lot of time with the boy who lived there but he was much older than her. He humoured her but once he went off to College, Thalia and him grew apart vastly.
When Thalia graduated grade 8 she was given many options for school. Her mother’s best friend had gone to school in American and she was the first one to mention Riverdale. At first Thalia wasn’t too keen on the idea, and her mother requested that she try local schools before considering a high school so far from home. By then Thalia was also teaching her own small group of students Violin, and she was hesitant to leave them behind.
She stayed in Russia, improving her English in high school to be sure she had a choice if she changed her mind. Thalia enjoyed high school and grade nine had been an amazing year for her. She loved her friends but many of them were older than her but that summer they grew apart. Early that same summer, her last remaining violin student moved on and Thalia found her family the most drawing factor at home, but she knew she wanted to see more of the world. She requested the opportunity to go to school at Riverdale like her Aunt Lisa had suggested. This caused a very last minute arrangement that had Thalia flying so far from everything she knew and off to Riverdale high.
So far this year she has spent a lot of her time focusing on her music and her studies but also on socializing and making friends. She already has a crush on Cornelius Cox and tends to avoid him but also follow him around. Surely people would notice eventually, but for now, Cornelius doesn’t even know she exists.
