Personal Style: You can find Emma in a lot of dresses or tunics. They are easy to move and work in. Occasionally you wil find her in pants, but they will usually be very fitted and more like leggings. Emma prefers to look more feminine in her clothing choices. There are lots of pale colors mixed in with her blacks and grays. No matter what Emma is wearing a charcoal jacket is always on her. This keeps her clothing clean from all the ink
Appearance: Emma is a pretty girl. It’s the simplest way to explain her look. Just a sweet young thing is the phrase most often used to describe her. Between her light complexion and pale clothing there is no other way around it. Her chocolate brown hair is always done, either curled or back in a pony tail if she has been writing all day. Very little makeup is used on her clear skin and face, mainly because of one bad case of up late writing and a missed alarm left the young lady with raccoon eyes.
Both Emma and her sister hail from jolly England, giving them a certain grace about them. Taking ballet for about ten years didn’t hurt either. Emma is always sure of her footing while walking if not when making life choices. Her head is always raised, though not always making eye contact.
HOPE AND HORROR
MIXED IN BLOOD
Likes: writing, England, Visiting, Older times, quiet
Dislikes: those less than agreeable, death, overly proud people, greed.
Dreams: to be famous enough to travel with her sister
Fears: not being good enough, not being wanted by people, losing her sister for good
Habits/Hobbies: prefers handwritten letters over emails, over satires life, doesn't know how she would/did live without her apple products, can't keep her hands from cramping
Secret(s): she is having the hardest time keeping the whole rsor a secret from her sister. Emma can feel them pulling apart and she doesn't like it.
Personality: Emma is a quiet girl. She doesn’t really talk to people, not because she doesn’t like them. But rather, Emma is shy. She has retreated into a world of writing and doesn’t really see a point in normal girl activities. Having so many brothers, it is no wonder that she enjoys the quiet of being away from them. It has also given her a sense of empowerment. Her father kept his two daughters on the same education path as his sons, thinking both sexes were equally able to learn classical languages.

History: on a beautiful day at the end of may, two daughters were born to the Landon family. Mary Margret was first, followed by her sister Emma Elizabeth two minutes later. The couple were overjoyed with their twins and set to give them the best life they could. Both parents were of middle class work, rising in popularity as the twins grew. Their mother, Olivia was a historical fiction writer. She wrote in the time of the Regancy when her own favorite author, Jane Austen lived. Her daughters were named after some of the female characters of Austen’s stories.
When the girls were young, they did about everything together. Often matching they would play and see to their own amusement, since both parents worked, though Olivia from home. Both would spend hours reading as they aged, leaving the Landon home quiet but quaint. Both parents sent the girls to school to create the best education for the pair.
Sometime around the age of eight, Emma started to remember things. Simple things, like walking through meadows or bonnets, things either her or her sister experienced. Emma had always been more interested in the historical novels and Mary was into more modern day things. So Emma just brushed it off as images from the books she read. It was about the time she started what would be sixth grade in the states, that Emma started to realize what she might be.
Mary had a friend that was Hindu. The three were talking and the subject of reincarnation came up. Everything the young girl was telling the Landon ladies made sense in what Emma might be. Though not knowing who, Emma realized that all the memories were not her own, at least in this current life.
When the girls were 12, it was announced that they would be moving to America in the coming year. Their father had a sebatical to work on his latest historical book and needed to travel to North Carolina for research. So when the girls were 13 they were on their way to America.
They enrolled in Riverdale, a town not far from their temporary home. Here is when Emma realized who she actually was. Looking through some history books on Austen, it all came together. Really it was because of a miss print it the book that only just came out. For Emma, the arrangement of her brothers was wrong. When she asked her mother about it, at the time, it was the accepted arrangement. Three days later, the truth about the order of Austen’s brother came to light. When Emma was confronted by her mother and she replied that she must have hear the work being done in Bath. This satisfied the Austen addict.
Shortly after, Emma was recruited into the RSOR. Though not having a major role, Emma helps when she can, keeping notes in her own short hand. It is a code only known by her, not even Mary can understand. It reads like a novel, rather than a meeting agenda.
Both Emma and Mary stayed after their father’s year was up. Now juniors, life has been changes for the twins who used to do everything together and now carry on with a completely different set of friends.

Merlin, it was so hard to be so close to Daniel and not tell him what she was feeling. Branwen wanted Daniel to know everything she had been putting off saying. It was easy to ignore a letter and to not let it seep into your heart. But that would also be lying.
Really, that is what Bran had done, ignored the letter. She didn’t want to deal with the idea of the only person she wanted so much to be lost in Azkaban. For in that place, there was no chance of getting out. At lease that what she thought. Putting feelings down in a letter and telling Daniel that she loved him was hard. Writing it down made it real, and as a sixth year, telling a man seven years older than you that you loved them didn’t sit well with people.
Daniel offered to help her find her bat. Really, that is all she wanted for the day. Not to confess loss moments missed, but to get a new bat. Having Dan help was all the better. He knew the ins and outs of playing and the equipment needed to be the best. This is what she really loved, talking about the game with someone who wasn’t family. Besides other things about Dan, this really a great part of him.
When he said her name, Bran just kind of smiled. She liked how he said her name. but quickly her smile faded. The letter, he was apologizing for the letter. Branwen reached into her pocket and felt the worn paper under her fingers. The more he talked the more Branwen wanted to cry. She had to hold back the tears from falling.
“oh.” was all she could say at first. If all Daniel wanted to just be friends then she would support that. He was with Brooke after all and Branwen couldn’t really hope that he would want more for her. Branwen turned back to the stare at the bats. For a few moments Wenny hoped to not cry or make rash decisions.
Turning back to Daniel, Branwen sighed. She wanted to confess everything. But after being told how much he just wanted to be friends that would be odd. Yes, Bran did love him and if she could she would be with him. But with everything in their lives that would be impossible. There wasn’t a lot that could be done. Unless she just confessed everything.
Confessing everything might be better in the long run. Yes, Branwen didn’t want to lose Daniel either, but if he knew how she felt then maybe things could change. Maybe she could come visit him here more. or maybe nothing would change but he would know. Isn’t that what he did with his letter, just let Branwen know? If Dan could do it, why couldn’t Wenny?
“Since we are making confessions, I have one of my own.” Branwen turned to look into Daniel’s eyes. She could do this, and she had to. Bran needed to tell Dan so she could move on. “I’m sorry I didn’t write back. I should have. I wanted to. I was scared. I value our friendship so much, so your letter didn’t change it. But,” Branwen looked around. The Bats were in the back part of the store, but she didn’t want people to hear her. Grabbing his hand, Branwen pulled Dan closer to the back.
Merlin, did she want to kiss him. Having Dan this close made it that much harder to resist the urge. “If you just want to be friends, I understand. You are with someone else and I should and will respect that. But you need to know.” Forget it, Branwen was going to go for it. Grabbing his face, Branwen leaned in to kiss him. It was all she could do. There was nothing else she could do to express it but say the words. Pulling away, Branwen looked into Daniel’s blue eyes. “I love you too.”- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
