The weekend had finally arrived, and Seth wasn’t quite sure of what to do. He normally spent quite a good amount of time studying - no wonder where the “bookworm” tag had come from. But, he chose to take a small break.
He could certainly use that break. School had been rather overwhelming these past days, and Seth had chosen to go for a walk, rather than finish his homework. He’d already done most of it, either way, and his parents were away for the afternoon so he figured… why not? Sure, school was important and all, but laziness was a luxury he rarely allowed - he figured, an exception couldn’t hurt… much. Right?
So, he’d dropped his sisters off at the mall before heading over to the lake by himself. Wandering, rather aimlessly, he wasn’t really sure of what he was actually doing. Really, he just wanted to… go. And, do something, or fail at doing something. He wasn’t entirely sure of what, though. How long had it been since he’d actually allowed himself to actually have some free time? He wasn’t sure. He could have easily stayed at home and played some videogames, or anything, but that wouldn’t be fun if he was alone. He needed either Nami, or Aya for that. Still, he knew they probably needed some time for themselves as well. Nami was slowly, but surely opening up to people, and Aya… well, just wasn’t the type of person to stay put.
Shaking his head, he tried to get his head off the subject, and pulled his headphones on. Music blasted in his ears as he walked by the edge of the lake, absentmindedly. The weather was rather nice, and the general atmosphere of the place was quite relaxing. Yup. Taking a break had definitely been a good idea. He figured he should do it more often. And, the next time he’d try to bring his sisters along. Or… well, at least Nami, because the whole situation with Aya was… well… it was still rather awkward. Damn that silly, rebellious kid. He didn’t quite know what to do with her, but at the same time, he was just dying to settle everything down. He missed getting along with her, so very badly… if only she wasn’t so… so damn stubborn!
Either way, he tried to break away from his current line of thought - he didn’t want to be worrying about his sister at that moment. Nope, it was a time to relax and… just… do about anything. He wasn’t entirely sure of what, though. Not quite knowing what to do, he grabbed a few pebbles off the ground, walked closer to the edge of the lake and started tossing them into the water. Good thing swimming wasn’t allowed, there. Hitting someone with a rock wasn’t one of his highest priorities.
