there doesn’t seem to be anyone around, i think we’re alone now… CÉCILE INGOT ==================================== Cecile was furious!! Her brother had some nerve if he thought he could dictate what she could and could not do. He was not their parents and certainly not in control of her. She would do what she wanted and when she wanted to. She would dance with who she wanted to. No one else had asked her to dance, so maybe if she had a date she wouldn’t have danced with Raven. But to be honest he had been a pleasant gentleman and he wasn’t right nasty.
The thing about serial killers that people often overlooked was that they are still human too. Raven had a personality outside of being some psychotic murdering monster. Everyone did have a dark side and a pleasant side and everyone had their secrets. Raven hadn’t gotten caught and that meant to Cecile that he was either good at being a normal person or a part of him simply was. She wanted to believe he was someone who had the capacity to be good.
She didn’t kid herself into thinking he was perfect, or even particularly 100% good. She wasn’t stupid and if he was going to start killing people again, she’d be out of the way and nowhere near him. Today’s world was different though and if Raven thought he’d get away with it again he was mistaken. Cecile was no fool and she was sure Raven wasn’t either so if she figured that much out surely so did he.
Cecile was reminded then that Raven was with her. She was in the fourth floor hallway, her anger boiling still at Skylar’s nasty attitude. Though she was sure he was regretting it now. She had just left with the very cause of the argument after all. In fact, Cecile wasn’t even sure she wanted to return to her dorm just yet, even if Isa wasn’t there Talia might be. So Cecile paused in the hallway, letting off a frustrated growl before turning to Raven.
”Sorry about that…Skylar seems to think he can dictate my actions. He made a fuss because we danced last night at the dance.”
Cecile explained in case Raven hadn’t already worked it out. Cecile was pretty sure he had given the comments up stairs but all the same. Her entire being was still bubbling with anger and she took a moment to try and simmer. She managed to drop it decently quick and smiled. Cecile had a knack for leaving anger behind her and forgiving people with ease…that wasn’t to say Skylar was off the hook though. ”Sorry I just sort of used you to piss him off. Though, if you still are okay to walk me back to my dorm I wouldn’t say no…” She added with a wide grin. She was already starting to consider Raven a potential friend.[/blockquote][/blockquote] ==================================== •• Tag • Raven Kass •• •• Words • 472 •• •• Outfit • CLICK •• •• Lyrics • "I Think We’re Alone Now" by Tiffany ••

I heard that evil comes disguised
Like the city of angels I'm walking towards the light So it probably wasn’t one of Raven’s better ideas to leave with Cecile after her brother had just thrown a fit about them dancing, but hey if Cecile wanted to piss off Skylar then he wasn’t going to stand in her way. Besides, he had to prove that he wasn’t a complete psycho all the time and could be polite when he felt like it. Isa had already figured that out and it seemed that they were on relatively decent terms despite what had happened in London. There was also the fact that he wasn’t dating another serial killer anymore, and so he had no partner in crime to help fuel his insanity. Sure he was still random as all hell, but the insanity was a little better in control. He wasn’t sure what had caused it, but he was going to go right ahead and blame Leila for it. Her breaking up with him had certainly been an unpleasant shock, and now he was more interested in getting back at her than anything else. If that meant, for now, to be hanging out with someone that was possibly her victim type, then he was definitely all for it. Though, that was not the only reason he was hanging out with Cecile, he also relatively liked the girl. She didn’t completely bore or annoy him, and so he was fine to hang out with her. Skylar getting pissed off about it was just an added bonus, and that was mostly because Raven loved to annoy people.
He could definitely tell that Cecile was pissed beyond reason. He had seen it on other people enough to realize the body language. That and the growl she gave off was a pretty good indicator…which would be why Raven hadn’t said anything yet. He was definitely going to let her make the first bit of conversation when she was ready. Hearing what she said he just shrugged and smiled a bit. ”I was honestly expecting it when I asked you to dance in the first place. Most people in the RSOR room either don’t like me or just generally ignore me. There are only a handful of people I talk to up there, and usually they are the ones that never go to meetings. Which is why I usually don’t go, but I was bored.” he said with a shrug. Sure he hadn’t been in the room for long, but it was long enough for him to definitely not want to stick around for too much longer. Especially seeing as the attention had switched from hating Oz to about him in French apparently. Ah well, he had better things to do for the moment anyway. That included walking Cecile back to her dorm if that was really where she wanted to go. He wasn’t sure if she had just said that as a reason to leave, or because she actually wanted to go to her room. Fine with him either way, but if she wanted to continue pissing off her brother then he had a few ideas on how to do so.
Then he saw her smile and seemed that all remnants of anger were gone somehow. Wow, talk about mood swings there. He had never seen someone drop their anger that fast without being completely bipolar or something. Raven chuckled a bit when she said she used him to piss her brother off. That was perfectly fine with him. ”I kind of enjoy pissing people off. I’ve made it a pastime of mine. Do you actually want to go back to your dorm, or do you want to piss your brother off more and hang out with me for a while?” he suggested with a smirk. This wouldn’t be just dancing; no this was actually hanging out. ”We could go pretty much anywhere seeing as I can drive, but only if you want to.” he stated with a shrug. Hey, it was up to her, and if she didn’t want to hang out he was probably going to just wander around for a while rather than going back to his dorms. After all, he was pretty sure both of his roommates hated him. No, he was definitely sure they both hated him, though Vaughn had more of a reason to than Cillian. Sure he had bested the spaz in a battle of wits, but he had definitely assaulted Vaughn’s girlfriend for Evie’s key to the RSOR room.

there doesn’t seem to be anyone around, i think we’re alone now… CÉCILE INGOT ==================================== Cecile would have been offended if Raven had said no. In fact, she’d have seen it as him taking her brother’s side and considering the topic she’d have pulled a very royal fit. Cecile’s temper was her biggest weakness and when she got mad—she got REALLY mad. It was always best not to deflect that temper upon you when she was angry with someone else. In fact, it was much safer not to. Cecile was good at letting things go after the fact, but her mind went into a state of pure rage when someone pissed her off. She just couldn’t let it go at first and had to get her say in before letting things blow over. And Skylar’s temper mixed with her temper was never a good combination. It was a family trait…
Cecile had never used to have that temper in the past. In her first life she was the tolerant, loving woman playing the role of a woman most of the time. Sure she had some things most women didn’t like the land she came to own or like defending her father’s keep. But she was ultimately a woman and that meant following certain rules. Being free in this life to have her own choices and rights had changed Madeleine. And her temper had stemmed from life in the Ingot family.
Cecile had no reason as of yet to see Raven as a monster. She knew he had done things, and she was cautious of that but she wanted to believe people could change. This was a second chance after all. It was every person’s right to choose what to do with it. Cecile had chosen to live a little and make her own choices. So why couldn’t Raven chose not to hurt people anymore? Or at least not kill them! Sure he had made mistakes in this life too, but influences could be the cause of that as much as personal choice.
Cecile listened to his response and nodded in agreement, and trying not to admit that she had expected it too. But did he really have to do it in front of everyone! And he could be less of an asshole about it. OR he could just butt out of her business altogether. ”Either way Skylar should mind his own business. I had a whole life time full of people telling me what to do. I’ll be damned before it happens again!”
Cecile said. She left out the fact that she had more choice than most women in her time, but all the same. The point still stood. ”People need to realize that there isn’t just one side to people… Is it really so bad to talk to someone, even if they did bad things in the past. Skylar is one to talk, he may not have killed people but he stole people’s dreams, their inventions and their hard work. He got rich off of misery! That’s just as bad if you ask me…okay, maybe not just as bad…but it still isn’t honest or good!” Cecile rambled a bit, letting her anger fume out a bit more, despite how quickly she was letting it go. Cecile hadn’t really thought about what the two of them were going to do. In fact, she hadn’t really wanted him to take her back to her dorm either. She just wanted to get Skylar angry by leaving with Raven. It seemed Raven was at least alright with her having used him against Skylar. She smiled as he said as much, and had to admit it did seem like a pastime for Raven. ”Not really. Isa is up there and Talia could be in the dorm. I don’t get along with her too well. I’d much rather hang out with you some more. If I play my cards right I can have a conversation loud enough for him to hear at some point about it…see how he likes that!!’ Truth be told, Cecile was likely to forget about the whole dispute and not follow that plan. But at the very least she could spend some time with Raven. ”I’d love too. What do you think of Ice cream? I would say dinner but I ate earlier.” Cecile didn’t care if that came across as almost date like. She just wanted to spend time with someone. And Raven at least was making her feel good, seeing as he was at least giving her some attention. Cecile had plenty of friends but a lot of them felt more like older siblings. She was almost getting a feeling of being on equal grounds with Raven and friends. That was way better than the little sister, big sister/brother approach.[/blockquote][/blockquote] ==================================== •• Tag • Raven Kass •• •• Words • 787 •• •• Outfit • CLICK •• •• Lyrics • "I Think We’re Alone Now" by Tiffany ••

I heard that evil comes disguised
Like the city of angels I'm walking towards the light Raven definitely knew better than to even think about saying no to Cecile’s offer. First off, she probably would have glared at him, and second off he did not want to side with Skylar. The kid just did not sit well with him for some reason. Well, it was probably because of his ego at times which honestly he swore Sky’s ego was huge at times. Sure Raven had an ego himself, but that came with not getting caught murdering people. Tends to make you a little overconfident, but that didn’t mean Raven was about to go and do so more. Seeing as in this day and age it would be nearly impossible to get away with it. Sure he saw on the news that people were getting away with murder because of screw ups, but the chances of that happening with a serial killer seemed slim. Thus, he was pretty sure he was going to give up on continuing his legacy. Besides, he would only be thought of as a copycat, and he would not be having any of that. It was almost insulting to even think about. Even the possibility of them accusing Jack the Ripper of being a copy of himself was rather unappealing. That left him at a loss for what to do though, but he imagined his parents would be thrilled to know their son was less of a psychopath now than he was before being sent away. Which, honestly what kind of parenting was that anyway? Something was clearly not right with his mind so they just sent him away rather than even remotely trying to talk to him about it. Obviously they were far too busy for such things like a conversation with their own son. No, cannot make time for that, but that was fine with him seeing as he didn’t want to talk to them anyway.
Hearing Cecile he just shrugged with a slight chuckle. ”You would think he would know that, but he obviously doesn’t care and thinks he can tell you anyway. “ he noted simply. Then Raven heard her talking about how there are two sides to people. There certainly were to him, the mostly sane, but a bit random, Raven and the completely psychotic and sadistic Jack. It seemed though that she was definitely trying to defend what he did. Which, honestly even he couldn’t defend what he did unless he was just going with the insanity plea. He had obviously enjoyed it in the past, and enjoyed causing pain in the present if he was in the right state of mind. He had been in that state of mind quite often when he was dating a certain serial killer. The getting rich off misery though he had to sigh. That, it seemed was pretty common to be honest. Tons of people got rich off the misery of others, and didn’t care that what they were doing was completely dishonest. ”Getting rich off of misery isn’t illegal. People do it constantly…and I’m almost positive my parents are rich while causing misery.” he said with a slight shrug. His mother did own a casino after all, and gambling was a horrible addiction to some people, and his dad was a very important doctor and patients did get lost at times, but the surgery would still have to be paid for. He didn’t really want to continue that particular bit of conversation though, so he was hoping she would just leave it at that.
Though her next statement had him laughing a bit again, and he found himself feeling relatively bipolar at the moment. ”Talia is difficult to get along with, but we’re on decent enough terms since we share a similar sense of humor when we’re trying to piss someone off. Also I’m sure your brother would be displeased, and I bet that would be hilarious to see his face.” he said with a bit of a smirk. Then she surprised him again by saying she would love to go spend time with him. That was definitely something he was not used to hearing, and she suggested ice cream. Well, seemed he would be pissing off his parents as well as Skylar with this one seeing as they hated it when he got a hold of sugar. ”Ice cream sounds awesome. Do you want to walk there or do you want me to drive because I am fine with either.” he asked with a smile at her. She was, definitely different from his normal group of friends. Which, the majority of were girls and criminals in history, and it made sense seeing as they judged him less for what he had done. Hell, some of them admired it and had told him so, and thus that was the only reason they were friends. Why most of them were girls though was a mystery to him, but apparently he just got along with girls better despite the fact that a few of his friends fit his type so to say. That was probably why he never spent a ton of time with them to be honest. Cecile though was different in the aspect seeing as she wasn’t even close to his type killer wise and she was generally a good girl. Sure she had a horrible temper, but he had one at times himself. Besides, she wasn’t judging him for what he had done in the past and was actually defending him. It was definitely interesting he had to say, though he couldn’t say if his interest in her was more than just because of how she treated him or for some other reason.

there doesn’t seem to be anyone around, i think we’re alone now… CÉCILE INGOT ==================================== Cecile’s anger was her biggest weak point and also her most prominent uncontrollable trait. Cecile could forgive easily once a spat was over, but once she started arguing it grew harder and harder to let it go until her right mind returned to her. Cecile’s only time where a long term consequence came from her anger was when it was toward Skylar. Skylar had an amazing way of tweaking Cecile’s worst nerves. Or maybe it wasn’t so much a grudge as repetitive piss offs. Raven was wise to just go along with Cecile if he was only looking at Cecile’s end, but Skylar also had a wicked temper.
Cecile was currently seeing Raven as a viable friend. He didn’t treat her like she was younger than him and certainly not like she was his little sister. And sometimes she needed that. She had loads of people looking out for her and sometimes she needed someone who wanted to go out, have a little frivolous fun and who didn’t want to keep her cooped up inside and protected. She’d already learned from the past that being cooped up didn’t mean you were safe and it’d be nice if someone realized Cecile could handle herself…or at least if Skylar could realize that.
Hearing Raven agree with her grievances with Skylar lead her to go on about it. ”He’s so pompous and stuck up that he can’t look past himself. If it’s inconvenient to him or if they disagree with him it doesn’t matter, as long as his opinion is the one that is acted on. I have no idea how a self-centered loner like him made it on the leader’s panel. He doesn’t care about his sister’s opinion let alone anyone else’s.”
Cecile rambled on, sounding really irritated. Skylar was a sore topic, especially with how Cecile was always fighting with him. But she still loved her brother, even if the two of them were are odds a lot of the time. Cecile blinked a moment, surprised at his response of money off of misery. She didn’t like his response and also felt like he wasn’t trying to defend himself in the slightest, and certainly vouching for Skylar seemed wrong. ”It should be! Misery is not something that anyone should profit from. The law in this world is messed up, then again, it isn’t so much the laws as it is the moral code breaking down! It wouldn’t be like this in my time period …people would be in some serious crap if they tried half the stuff they do now.” Cecile went on. She also understood that she wouldn’t have the rights she has now either. But women’s rights surely couldn’t actually lead to this. Cecile and Raven it seemed were both almost bipolar today. Their conversation was changing tones in far too many ways for now. But that was just part of the beginnings of getting to know someone. The conversation went everywhere and the attitudes and ideas were exchanged, common interests found and conflicts of opinion discovered. ”Talia is extremely rude and vulgar not to mention the fact that she reminds me of Skylar when it comes to her opinion of herself. No thank you…I don’t want anything to do with that. If it’s your poison than be my guest, but I’d rather have different company than Talia.” Cecile explained, her dislike of Talia being voiced in a very appropriate tone that suggested just how much she disliked Talia. But her eyes and face brightened up a bit as soon as the topic was no longer focused on Talia. ”Oh good. And I can have fun pissing him off!” Cecile smiled. Cecile was unaware of any harm in giving Raven sugar, and considering she enjoyed select sweets herself, though not many, it was of little concern to her. In fact, Cecile only really liked ice cream when it came to desserts and candy. And the amount of sugar in Ice Cream wasn’t as bad as some food anyways. When Raven agreed she couldn’t help the pleased smile that ran across her face. ”Well…um…” she considered transportation by looking out a window. How dark was it? Well…it was getting dark enough that Cecile wasn’t really keen on the idea of walking through the dark outside. The dark could hold anything and Cecile was afraid of the darkness. Without at least a flashlight there would be no walking. The car would have more light… ”I’d prefer if you were to drive us. I don’t really like…uh…being outside in the dark.” She went quiet a moment, her smile barely there as she considered it and then she shook off the feeling and it was as if the moment hadn’t happened. The smile was back on her face and she was looking as cheerful as ever. Cecile was completely oblivious to how strange of a pairing her and Raven were as friends. She didn’t even think about the fact that she was the good girl, he the bad boy. She was so sure of herself and he had control issues. She didn’t care about the past all that much compared to what she should and it appeared Raven did. It was strange but yet, Cecile found it refreshing without even realizing the reason why. She was also completely unaware of how strange it may seem to anyone from the outside. Sure it had started as a simple dance, and now it was more of an attempt to piss off Skylar….but Cecile was finding more and more she could see Raven as a friend, and she barely knew him. I heard that evil comes disguised
Like the city of angels I'm walking towards the light Raven’s biggest flaw was definitely his insanity. It was something he could not control in the slightest and it definitely left him with a lot of headaches. Both figuratively and literally at that being that it was all in his heads and trying to stop it just gave him a migraine. This was why half the time he did not even remotely try to stop it. He would just find some sort of outlet, like some poor unsuspecting student in the RSOR. Mostly he picked on reincarnates because they didn’t really expect anything less of him, and he wasn’t a huge fan of talking to normals. He remained quiet most of the time in classes, and only really had conversations with reincarnates. Now, some reincarnates he did not bother to even converse with because he just couldn’t talk to them without being annoyed by their existence. Well, he did bother talking to them if he was in an exceptionally good mood, but otherwise he just picked on them or pretended they did not exist. After all, he had no reason to acknowledge their existence at times because they were doing the same to him. Ah well, things like that were of no concern to the ripper and thus he was focusing back on the sophomore in front of him.
He let the girl ramble about her grievances with her brother. ”Who knows, but obviously he got a majority vote somehow.” he said not going to disagree with her for fear her temper would flare up and he would get punched in the face. He couldn’t irritate a genius if the one helping him do so did not want to talk to him. He would definitely not be admitting that Skylar had a point that was for sure. Yes, he could be highly dangerous at times, it just depended on what sort of state his sanity was in that day. Some days it was horribly unstable, and others you would hardly know he was actually insane. Ah well, he would deal with it in his own way and maybe he would manage to not completely lose himself to the insanity. Well, at least that was his plan. Sure before he had been fine with the periods of insanity, but since London it seemed to be a tad more frequent. That incident had definitely messed him up, and he blamed the fact that now everyone that was reincarnated knew who he was. That did not sit well with his paranoia in the slightest and it was driving him even more insane. At least, that was what he figured it was, nothing else made sense to him after all. Her statement about misery being profited from being illegal made him sigh. ”Think about it this way, we wouldn’t have doctors if that law existed. They cause quite a huge amount of misery, but they’re also helping people at the same time and profit quite a bit from it. I’m not saying it is right, but there are circumstances in which it is unavoidable.” he noted with a shrug. Hey, it wasn’t always something that was avoidable. Surgery was pretty miserable as were shots, but they were typically for someone’s own good.
He chuckled at her description of Talia. ”Yep, that would be Talia for you. I can only deal with her for short time spans, but eh she doesn’t hate or judge me for being me so I have no issue with her.” he noted with a shrug. Honestly, his only friends were ones that could look past the serial killer past life, and it seemed that they were also all girls along with some of them being whores. How the hell that had happened he honestly couldn’t even fathom, but whatever just so long as he wasn’t with them all the time he managed. He smiled a bit when she said she could piss off Skylar while she was at it, well that was fine with him. He definitely enjoyed pissing people off that was for sure. Though he was pretty sure he did not want to piss off the girl in front of him, he had a feeling he would definitely not be a fan of that outcome. He let her consider whether he was going to drive or not and definitely wasn’t sure what her deciding factor was completely. After all, the girl had no idea if he drove like a maniac or not, which he didn’t, but still it could have been a huge factor. Mostly people don’t want to drive with someone they have never seen drive before just because they were worried for their own safety. Her next statement though made him blink. Well, that worked for him. ”Fine with me I already have my keys so we can just head out to the parking lot then.” he said with a bit of a smile. Was she afraid of the dark? That was almost, comical considering he had a tendency to just walk around in it on a regular basis. Hell Isa and Oliver had found him lurking in the cemetery at night not too long ago. Which, honestly, was pretty much the definition of creepy beyond reason, but he was not concerned with how creepy he was. After all, he was Raven and Jack the Ripper, so naturally he was creepy. Anyway though he started walking towards the parking lot with Cecile this was certainly going to be an interesting trip for ice cream he was feeling. After all, he was thinking that the two of them were almost complete opposites, yet were getting along just fine somehow. He had a feeling that both of them wanting to piss off Skylar had something to do with that, but still he was hoping that once she was done irritating her brother she wouldn’t just drop him as a friend. Cecile didn’t seem like the type to do that though, but still he wasn’t sure what was going to happen. He chewed on his lip stud as they walked and looked over at Cecile. ”So. What’s your favorite ice cream flavor?” he asked her with a raised eyebrow as he held the door to outside for her.

there doesn’t seem to be anyone around, i think we’re alone now… CÉCILE INGOT ==================================== Cecile remained blissfully unaware of what Raven was capable of up to this point. She had never been there when an incident had happened with him and perhaps that was huge in contributing to her lack of caution around Raven. That wasn’t to say she wasn’t cautious at all however. She was quite aware of the possible damage Raven, or any other reincarnate, could do. Many of them were reincarnated for the very reason that they were deadly. Cecile’s historical background was one of cunning and bravery at a young age, not to mention carrying status unbefitting a woman of her time. For Raven it was his murderous acts that he was most historically noted for. She knew that, and as a result knew better than to lay down full trust. Though, that didn’t mean she had to fear and avoid him.
Cecile nodded her agreement to Raven’s statement of votes. It all came back to perspective. Many people were unaware of how bigoted or even irrational they were. RSOR was full of some of the most stubborn people at Riverdale. And it was all because they felt entitled or more talented. This wasn’t arrogance so much as truth in some senses. Entitlement aside of course. Cecile looked at her situation as a second chance at a new life, some looked at it as hell, some looked at it as a sign they lived right the first time. It was all opinion. And those opinions and past experiences made it that much harder to force a reincarnate to change their views or their ways. She wanted to believe Raven would change for the better, and as such she was waiting and watching before judging. Many RSOR members wouldn’t even consider that an option.
Cecile’s often irrational and out of control temper didn’t help her opinions of other RSOR members. When they did things she didn’t like or treated people a certain way for little to no reason she tended to get angry, as is obvious given the situation. She had a hard time keeping those opinions to herself and not overpowering others with them. Though to be honest, fighting her in those moods was a bad idea too, so thankfully Raven was being wise enough not to engage.
Cecile fiddled a moment with her hands as she considered what he had to say about doctors with regard to her thoughts that a law about profiting from pain be put in place. ”Doctors are trying to prevent and help with pain, not harm people. Surgery isn’t so much pain as a small pain to relieve greater pain. That makes it different.”
Cecile said, amending it. ”Lets hammer out the details then if you want to be particular. People should not make profit from acts of pain or misery that could be avoided against another person. Acts of necessary pain including surgery, medical examination, required vaccinations, and pain that is undertaken by will of the person it is inflicted upon, like plastic surgery, is all permitted…Is that better wording then?” she asked with a raised eyebrow. Cecile found that with Raven’s description to add her own of Talia, she had to admit if anyone was accepting of past acts of criminal nature it was Talia. Then again, Talia also seemed to dislike anyone who entered the opposite spectrum, explaining why Cecile didn’t get along with her. Cecile had nothing in common with Talia, seeing as she preferred a life of darker intent and Cecile stuck to more honest and forthright actions. What Cecile chose was more law abiding by far. Also, Talia’s temper put with Cecile’s temper didn’t help. ”I certainly can’t deny she is open to people who others tend to push away. I think it’d be different with me and her if we were not opposites in many way and similar in others.” Cecile added, looking thoughtful as her thoughts were still trailing through ideas for why Talia and her didn’t get along. She let it drop and her eyes looked more alert and her whole demeanor was more attentive. Cecile was still deciding on what she thought of Raven though. She didn’t know him that well, so why they were able to get along was a little confusing to her. They were also opposites much like Talia and Cecile. Raven was on the opposite end of the spectrum. Cecile wasn’t one for the save the blackened soul bull crap either. She just wanted a friend who treated her like a friend and less like a child. Raven was being that so perhaps it was just that simple reason, which would mean the friendship wouldn’t last. Cecile sincerely hoped she found more in common with Raven before then. Cecile nodded with a smile as he mentioned already having his keys and started toward the parking lot alongside him. She didn’t shed any more light on her reasoning for choosing the car over walking, but as of right now, it wasn’t information Raven needed to know about. She wasn’t thinking ahead too much, and instead was more intent on what was happening right now. Her mind wasn’t in a state of planning or considering what may occur, she was still trying to work out how such a strange chain of events led to the present. She was going with someone who was essentially a stranger in his car for ice cream to spite her brother and because she just felt like it. Yay for new experiences? Hearing his question snapped her out of her thoughts and she turned to look at him considering her favourite as she stepped outside. ”Thank you,” she said before answering. ”I don’t know. It changes from time to time. I like lots of flavours. I like cookie dough, mint chip, bubble gum, cotton candy, moose tracks, gold medal ribbon, basic flavours like chocolate, vanilla and strawberry…though, I don’t like sherbet flavours, anything with cherry or coffee tasting flavours.” she offered, feeling that encompassed all her dislikes. ”What about you? Favourite and least favourite flavours?”[/blockquote][/blockquote] ==================================== •• Tag • Raven Kass •• •• Words • 1008 •• •• Outfit • CLICK •• •• Lyrics • "I Think We’re Alone Now" by Tiffany ••

I heard that evil comes disguised
Like the city of angels I'm walking towards the light In Raven’s opinion, Skylar was probably one of those people that could be extremely charming when they wanted to be, and otherwise could be a complete dick. That, really, was probably how he ended up on the leader’s panel. Being that there were more important historians, though not all of them were currently in the school. They also didn’t have the advantage of knowing the mass number of people that it seemed that everyone on the leader’s panel did. How they knew every reincarnate was beyond him, but then again he didn’t like people so he wasn’t one to go around socializing with them at random. It also seemed that they were all busy with both school clubs and RSOR somehow. Yeah, he liked his free time way too much for something like a school club that wasn’t reincarnates. That, and it required that socializing thing that he disliked quite a bit. Certain people he could certainly stand, but others he would rather not deal with at all. Ah well, he supposed dealing with annoying people was unavoidable, but he liked to try and avoid it as much as he could. Anyway though, he would deal with those thoughts later because he and Cecile had moved onto another topic already.
Raven was definitely one of those people that seemed to harass or do things for what seemed like no reason. Mostly his reason was that he just didn’t like that person, but that wasn’t exactly the truth honestly. His insanity was the cause of a lot of it and if he was pissing people off or harassing them then it seemed to calm down for a little bit. It made it just a little more manageable and easier to ignore for him. That probably wasn’t scientifically true, but it felt that way to him, so he made sure to piss someone off about as often as possible, though it depended on how they reacted. If they didn’t care then it didn’t exactly work as well as when they just freaked out. Obviously that was why people picked to begin with. It was all just for the reaction they got from whoever it was being picked on. If you did not react then you were left alone, otherwise it continued until the person did something about it.
Raven listened to Cecile’s amendment and still just shrugged. The law would never work and he knew that, but he wasn’t sure he wanted to just crush Cecile’s hope for humanity on that one. ”That part is fine, but emotional pain cannot be perceived really after all it’s not hard to fake being miserable with enough practice. I feel the law would be exploited to gain money off of misery anyway honestly because it’s just human nature unfortunately.” he said with a sigh. Human nature made laws based on morals very difficult, and it was probably why there was no such law. People were greedy by nature, and thus anything that dealt with people being not allowed to make money would never be passed. Mostly it was just wishful thinking on the part of some that thought there was some good in humanity. Raven, on the other hand, typically only saw the corruption and evil, but that was more to blame on how he was brought up though. Hearing the things people would say behind the back of those that were better off than them had slightly warped his sense of people he had to say.
With a sigh Raven gave a bit of a smile. ”There are some similarities that just seem to clash with certain people I suppose.” he noted with a shrug. It was certainly true enough being that he had seen people with a number of similar traits just hate one another for those exact traits. Now, that was a tad hypocritical honestly, but he wasn’t one to judge people for their flaws being that he had more than his fair share of them. One of the reasons why he hadn’t cared that Evie was on drugs after all and had stuck up for her during that little incident with the brat named Tamara. Anyway though, he should probably focus on where he was going so that he didn’t end up walking into a wall. That would be rather unpleasant after all, and so he opened the door and walked out into the parking lot towards his car. Yes, he did own a sports car, and no he didn’t really care. It wasn’t his choice of car, but at least it wasn’t a stupid color and was instead black. His parents had at least gotten that much correct. Honestly he had an aversion to driving it most of the time being that it was a nice car and he was not the most experienced driver and dents were a high possibility for learners. What the hell were his parents thinking when they bought a sports car for his first car, it just didn’t make sense, but he supposed if they had money to burn he was going to let them. It really also had no space for moving things so it could be rather inconvenient at times.
He then proceeded to listen to her choices of ice cream and blinked at how many flavors she liked. Though he had to say both cotton candy and bubble gum sounded disgusting. He had never tried them, and he was definitely not planning on doing so in the future. ”I don’t really get to have ice cream often enough to have a favorite flavor to be honest, but I do like cookie dough ice cream, and sherbet is gross.” he noted with a shrug. He wondered if she would find it odd that he didn’t have ice cream often enough to have a favorite. It certainly wasn’t something you would expect he was imagining, but it didn’t really matter he supposed.

there doesn’t seem to be anyone around, i think we’re alone now… CÉCILE INGOT ==================================== Cecile had no illusions about how Skylar ended up on the leader’s panel. Her brother had hidden who he was from her their whole lives until she came to Riverdale. If he was capable of that he was capable of keeping RSOR’s secret from anyone. And to top it Skylar had a way of know what to say and when a lot of the time. Though, at the same time he also had moments where he failed to realize that pissing someone off was a bad idea. That could simply be come from Cecile’s intimate connection to him, seeing as he was her brother after all. The two of them practically had a blind spot for each other. Though, to be honest, Cecile’s anger hadn’t been a huge problem in her first life. She had known her place and it was hers to keep, but in this life no one would stop her from being who she wanted to be. Women had made the steps forward so that her second life would be more hers and less someone else’s. So now her anger was fresh and volatile and Skylar always seemed to be the worst one for setting off her temper. That aside, she knew he had his merits and it was hard to say he didn’t when you took a good look at what he could do and how he could go about doing it, without anyone getting caught in the crossfire. All of the leader’s panel were politicians first and that was Skylar, in this life and the last.
One major difference between Cecile and Raven was her love of social contact. Raven may not be super social but Cecile could see the relevance and need for socializing and the social connections a person could make. All the Leader’s Panel members were the best socially connected of all the RSOR members. But Cecile felt that because of that her social connections were almost sabotaged by Skylar’s status. She wouldn’t tell him that directly, but it intimidated and upset her to think that his status had an effect on her life. She was always going to be Skylar’s little sister and sometimes that was a hard concept to break. She had to work through more social layers because of it and to say that didn’t bother her would be lying.
Cecile shrugged as Raven mentioned that faking being miserable was easy enough with practice. That she did agree with. ”I never did say it was a workable law. It’d still be nice if there was some consequence.”
Cecile added. She knew that her idea was a bit too optimistic in reality, even if in thought there was some merit to it. That was just the way things worked though. Everyone was looking for a way to exploit other people. It was human nature sadly. ”Isn’t that the truth…” Cecile agreed again, when Raven mentioned what she had been thinking about human nature. Cecile nodded. ”We clash more because of differences than similarities if I had to pick one as the greater culprit. Call it a moral difference…or perhaps it goes further than that. I can certainly say for my part I just find her somewhat irritating most of the time. But I am sure it’s more than that from her perspective. Talia is very selective in her friends…at least from what I have observed.” Cecile commented. Cecile had a bit of a skewered view of people when it came to judgement but she could see quite clearly the truth of how people were. To elaborate, she observed clearly how people felt, acted and could more so than not understand their motives. But the judgement came in when it came time to associate. Cecile liked to believe that until proven untrustworthy that someone was worth her time. There were exceptions but to see just how clearly she saw it that way she was hanging with Raven. If she cared more about his history than the present, that wouldn’t be the case. She had to believe people could change. It was one of the few things about humanity that still had potential in Cecile’s eyes. She knew people could be good and that was a golden ray of light in the picture but to think that someone could go from horrible intentions and thoughts to a better state of mind…it was something she wanted to believe in and it would take a really traumatic experience to change that. Cecile took in the car that Raven made for and smirked, not commenting. She found the car almost fitting to be honest. For some reason she couldn’t picture Jack the Ripper in some run down and beat up piece of crap. She didn’t say as much though, and she had no idea his thoughts on the car. She also approached the car, making for the passenger side. Cecile was too young to drive still, but she was going to get her license as soon as she was able to. Sadly, Canada kept modifying the system on her so it’d be a while before she could drive on her own once the process started. Cecile was a bit surprised to hear Raven didn’t really have a favourite. But at least he agreed with her on the sherbet. ”Well we should make a habit of getting ice cream so you can pick favourite flavours!!” Cecile offered with a smile. She liked that idea, and it gave her a chance to hang out with Raven from time to time. ”So if you don’t have ice cream often…what do you enjoy for dessert? Or food in general. I am not super keen on desserts, but I do love ice cream.” Cecile offered with a grin. She was a bit of a health nut truth be told. She preferred fresh meats, vegetables and dairies. Homemade meals were also a plus compared to take out. For some reasons he imagined that Raven would love sweets and not be as keen on the healthy stuff as she was, but she couldn’t be sure.[/blockquote][/blockquote] ==================================== •• Tag • Raven Kass •• •• Words • 1013 •• •• Outfit • CLICK •• •• Lyrics • "I Think We’re Alone Now" by Tiffany ••

I heard that evil comes disguised
Like the city of angels I'm walking towards the light Raven had never been a fan of politics in his last life and he certainly wasn’t happy about dealing with it in this life. He could act like a politician if he wanted to, after all he’d seen enough of them at his parents’ parties, but even he had his limits. Murdering hookers was one thing, manipulating everyone around you to believe you and playing a game of impressions was not his thing. Raven wasn’t one for first impressions, but if he felt like it he could play nice. Usually though, he just acted like his insane self and was more interested in curing boredom than playing well with others. With Cecile though, it was different. She wasn’t like the other heroic members of the RSOR who had quite the negative opinion of him. Hey, if they were allowed to be reincarnated for their accomplishments then why the hell couldn’t he? Not his fault he was Jack the Ripper, or insane for that matter, so someone acting like he was more of a friend than an enemy was a nice change. Also, pissing off her egotistical brother was quite the bonus. Anyway though, he may have done a few things to the members to make them treat him in such a way, but it didn’t seem that Talia or Isa held any sort of grudge against him for his antics in London; the rest of them seemed to though. Ah well, he didn’t really care what they thought of him, just so long as they didn’t try to murder him all was fine in his world.
Seeing her shrug at his statement of misery being easy to fake he smiled a bit. He faked it for quite some time being that he had an appearance of that kid in the corner that probably goes home and cuts themself. Thus, he could fake misery and it got people to leave him alone long enough for him to make it to his senior year. Seemed though that now that everyone in RSOR knew his identity it was harder to fake. Sure he probably still looked that way to many normals, but he felt like there was no point trying anymore. Mostly that meant he had a tendency to just be quiet and only half pay attention to what anyone was saying in his classes. He still got straight A’s, but it certainly kept people from paying him too much attention. He liked blending in; it made him feel almost normal sometimes despite that being the farthest thing from the truth. ”Some consequence would be nice, but I don’t think I’ve ever known the world to be nice unfortunately.” he noted with a shrug. Then he commented on how it was just human nature to exploit others and be greedy, and she seemed to agree with him. It was hard to deny such a fact after all. Then she started talking about how she didn’t get along with Talia, and he could see that completely. He was pretty sure the only reason they were friends is because she shot him and they shared a morbid sense of humor. Nothing else made sense seeing as she was best friends with a certain saint he had murdered just moments before she shot him. ”I think the only reason we’re friends is because she shot me in London, and then admitted in the morning I pretty much deserved it.” he said quietly so that nobody else would hear. Sure it was probably a weird thing to say, but as far as Raven knew it was the truth. After all he couldn’t just shout that she had shot him during that trip, that would bring up all kinds of questions and then the police might get involved and it would be a huge mess he felt.
They had made it outside and gotten in his car and were now discussing ice cream and favorite flavors. It felt weird to admit he didn’t really get to have sweets very often and was only allowed when someone was sneaking it to him or it was in Riverdale. He hadn’t even thought to take advantage of the fact that his parents couldn’t really see what he was up to and thus didn’t bother to buy sweets. After all, he had no idea what exactly it was that he liked, and thus didn’t feel like buying random things and then not liking them. Hearing her statement he smiled a bit. ”Sure, fine with me.” he said with a smile. Besides, gave him an excuse to hang out with her more often and maybe they could actually get to know one another past them just annoying her brother. After all, just because that was how things started didn’t mean that was how they had to continue. That would get boring after all, or Skylar would finally stop being phased by it, thus they had to gain some other reason to hang out or it would just end the friendship for a lack of interest. ”I’ve honestly never been allowed to have sweets, apparently only bad parents give children sweets or some nonsense like that. I do like cookies though as I found when I brought Isa the keys I found.” he noted with a smile. ”Mostly it’s fruit though really.” he shrugged before pulling into the parking lot next to the ice cream shop. ”We’re here.” he noted before turning off his car and opening his door to get out. He shut his door and waited for her before walking up to the shop.
