With the discoveries that Erika Martens had recently made, it was hard not to laugh at this choice of activity that Riverdale High school students were to take part in.
At the same time, Erika was nervous. This wasn't a typical high school Living History project, and she knew it. Plenty of students at Riverdale High were literal living history. That meant that she was looking at plenty of people she'd gone to school with for years in a whole new light, during perhaps one of the most awkward events at Riverdale High. That unfortunately meant being forced into a get-up that she would normally never wear. The tomboy was not only wearing the blue checkered dress characteristic of Judy Garland's role as Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz, but she wore braided pigtails (that were giving her quite the headache, if she had to be honest) and perhaps most annoying of all, those damn ruby slippers! What kind of slippers had a raised heel? And those things were so tight on her feet...
She still didn't know the identities of everyone within RSOR, though she had an idea as to a few of them. Rumors and Wizard posts helped to clear up a few of those (it was also decidedly ironic, now that Erika looked at it, that the Wizard posts had helped her discover the secret of RSOR and she was dressed up as Dorothy for this schoolwide activity). She wondered if the RSOR even knew that there was a normal out there that had figured everything out. She also wondered what she should do with that knowledge. She had no plans to go to Anti-RSOR, as they rubbed her the wrong way. She'd always thought of the means to get into an organization as like a sport's team. Obviously RSOR had something that Anti-RSOR did not, and Anti-RSOR didn't make the cut. It was upsetting, yes, but they didn't need to go to the frenzied extent that they did. That was just ridiculous.
Erika wasn't sure if she should go to RSOR about it either, though. It might get a few of her questions answered, but admitting that she'd discovered the secret would mean admitting how she'd discovered the secret, and that she'd not only broken school rules to get the secret but had also most likely broken the law. And here she was putting Anti-RSOR down for their desperate methods. Though, to be fair to Erika, her intent was not to discover RSOR...but rather to get a simple rush from going into someone's locker and taking something that she wasn't supposed to.
...wait, that was worse.
Erika let out a sigh and took a seat on a chair off to the side in the music room, removing both of her ruby slippers and rubbing at her feet, which were covered by pantyhose. She was thankful for this, as otherwise she had the strong feeling that she'd have blisters all over her feet by now. "How can people wear these things without their feet falling off?"[/color] Erika groaned in frustration to a person standing nearby. She opted to remain seated for a least a few moments. Her feet needed a rest. It would be hell to have blistered feet for showtimes...
