Rudy likes to wear things that he can move around easily in. Comfort is a must, though so is durability. Jeans and a t-shirt are acceptable most of the time. That being said, there are times where Rudy wants to make sure that he leaves a lasting impression, and for that he must look nice. In that case, he'll usually throw on a button up shirt and some dress pants. He tries to make sure that his red hair is neat when he sets out for the day, though if it gets messed up during the course of the day, it's not the end of the world, and it's just the way it is.
Appearance:
We'll start with the most obvious of features - His red hair. Yes, the Red Baron is a redhead in this life. Fitting, no? (And we're not even going to get started on the name Rudolph =P ). To match this, he has freckles on his cheek and brown eyes. His small stature and baby face tend to make him look younger than most his age, much to his chagrin...in his eyes, he outgrew the adjective 'cute' when he was ten, though those around him tend to disagree.
When around others, Rudy tends to carry himself with an air of confidence...and confidence he does have. He may have short stature and a baby face, but when he wants to be, he can make himself seem a lot larger. He has a brisk, purposeful walk that almost seems reminiscent of a soldier.

Personality:
One this is for certain - This young man is not short on energy or drive. Growing up in the family that he did in this life, having multitudes of energy just to keep up with everyone else is a necessity, and Rudy found himself conditioned to that early on. As well, Rudy has an almost insatiable drive to succeed in all of his endeavors. If he wishes to do something, he will absolutely put his all into it.
Perhaps one of the most notable aspects of Rudy's personality is his confidence, which more often than not borders on arrogance. To some extent it's expected, of course - This boy landed himself eighty kills in his past life. That is, indeed, something to be proud of. Nonetheless, he holds himself in high regard because of this accomplishment. In addition, because he remains unaware that there are others like him, he places himself on a higher pedestal than most because of his status as a reincarnate.
Although this particular flaw of his might push some away, he does remain a rather outgoing person. Again, something he learned from being a member of such a large, boisterous family. You couldn't get very far being quiet in the Young family, and thus Rudy is anything but quiet.

History:
As the last of a total of six Young children, Rudolph was born into a large and rambunctious house. He was born a total of thirteen days before his older sister's third birthday, and some of his earliest memories in this life consist of the two of them playing together, Fred just as rowdy and excitable as any of their older brothers.
Even with five older siblings before him, Rudy, as he came to be called by most in his family (Rudolph was such a mouthful), quickly learned how to keep up. By the time he entered school, it looked as though he would already be a handful for teachers.
The suspicions, of course, proved to be true. It was clear early on that Rudy did not like to stay put in class, and was more into sports than academics. Recess and gym class were his favorite times of day. At recess, he and a few friends started a game where they would pretend to be pilots dog-fighting and chasing after each other making plane noises. It was a fun way to pass recess for all of them, but for Rudy there was something more to it. It was all in good fun, yes, but Rudy it took it more seriously than most of his friends, keeping an active track of how many 'kills' he had and teaching his friends how to do the same. What's more, he never started at one, but rather at eight-one. When one of his friends questioned this, he responded with 'I already had eighty kills!'.
As with his sister, his parents learned quickly that their youngest son enjoyed flying. He also enjoyed all of the adventures that their parents took them on, though every once in a while, when they were camping, he would wake up in the middle of the night to find that the tent he shared with his sister was empty save for himself. This made him curious, but he never did get around to asking her.
Like most reincarnates, Rudy realized very early on that he wasn't like most kids his age. In the play dogfights at school, the other kids were merely using their imaginations, but Rudy knew that he'd done it all before. Not only had he done it, but he was an ace. When his family traveled to Germany on one of their many trips, Rudy picked it up with ease. He tried not to show this off around his family though, because he hadn't really picked it up...he understood it as clear as English from the first time he heard it.
One day, at around the age of eleven, he listened more intently to a story that his grandmother was telling him, about the Red Baron of World War I. When she explained the fall of the Baron, she ended with the statement that he'd finally met his match. To this, Rudy responded candidly 'No, I don't think so.'
Rudy didn't know all the details, but he knew for a fact that he was "der Rote Kampfflieger"; the Red Baron in the stories. He knew that he was the ace of aces, one of the best fighter pilots to have ever taken the sky. Perhaps the worst part of the whole thing was that no one else knew it.
At age fourteen, he found himself at Riverdale High after his sister. Knowing that he could not be sent to a school in Germany (though part of him wished to be), he at least wanted to travel out of the country to go on an adventure. Not to mention his sister spoke wonders of it. So at Riverdale he found himself, unaware that there are so many others like himself (his sister included) waiting in the shadows.
