i will never let my friends drink root beer again

heeey. so. i know i've finally been around and everything but that's potentially going to be ending again... a few weeks ago one of my friends accidentally spilled root beer on my laptop and the keyboard got all sticky. now that i'm home for christmas we brought it into best buy because we have coverage where they'll fix that for free. well. brought it in today. tell them what happened and the guy's like alright, we'll send it in and it could take until january 24th to get it back. that's definitely almost a full month. just to clean some fucking root beer out from under the keys, which i thought they'd be able to do right in store. khlkwjha;glwieh. well anyway, i doubt it'll take them that long to send it back, but that's where we sit. there are other computers in this house but they're desktops that i'm not too fond of and i probably won't be using them all too much. so i could potentially be MIA until late january, but it'll probably only be a week and a half or so. hoping for the best on this one. sorry.

Really, though, Best Buy is notorious for crap like that. I wouldn't think it should take that long either, but I'm checking with the boyfriend on that. Regardless...I guess you can't argue with free?

well i guess they sent it in and gave me that late of a return date because they gotta check it and make sure nothing else is ruined from the spill... although i could almost guarantee there isn't, because i've had that spill for a full two weeks, and my computer was running smoothly and the only issue was a few keys sticking. ugh. either way, yeah, it's free! haha
