What the What, Hanston? Last year I won a trip to London for "my school group" - that is, the RSOR- at the Principal's Convention. Often the reward does not cater to just one group - when I won the school pool, well, everyone can use that. But such wins aren't free. The winning school has to do something "in exchange" that is in some way related to the prize won. When I won the pool, this trade-off was a "Water for Africa" schoolwide project to bring wells, water filters, and sanitation to people in need.
For new students, or those who do not know, on last year's trip, students stayed in a wax museum. Later on, security cameras were found to have captured several frames, (now available in the BBC archives for those who wish to view the released frames) of the wax museum's historical figures, for all appearances, up and about and interacting with each other. Therefore, the panel in charge of the Principal's convention had decided to roll with the theme of "living history" caused by the hoax while we were there, and have decided that all students (RSOR or not) will be involved in "making history come to life"
More information will be posted at a later date.
***Please note that auditions are not required.
