Being selected as one of the chaperones for the Halloween dance this year meant that Felicity Hoffman was going to celebrate the occasion in style.
The redhead entered the gymnasium with a handsome date at her side that almost any student or staff member at Riverdale would recognize - the skeleton from the biology lab. In true Halloween spirit, the skeleton had a patch on his eye and a pirate hat on his head. Whether Hanston would approve of school property being used as an impromptu date for one of her staff members remained to be seen, but hey, Felicity hadn't heard anything about it not being allowed, so why not try?
As for the science teacher herself, she wore a pair of black antenna that protruded a foot or so from her head. That foot or so was nothing compared to the six additional appendages attached to her side. Including her arms, Felicity had a told of eight 'legs'. Yes, folks, she was dressed as one very oversized spider.
If last year was to judge, Felicity knew where the problems might be. As such, she and her 'date' made their way over to the refreshments table. Pouring herself a glass of punch, Felicity started off making hawk eyes at anyone who dared step near the refreshment table, before breaking into a smile and wishing them a Happy Halloween. Felicity was quite enjoying her post thus far, though one might wonder if that punch she was drinking was spiked after all. "Enjoying the dance, One Eyed Pete?"[/color] She reached up to make the skeleton nod, then smiled, thinking this would be a lot better if she had someone to talk to...someone who wasn't quite so stiff a companion.
