Height: 5'2"
Weight: 110 lbs
Eye Color: Brown
Hair Color: Dirty blonde/light brown
Build: Slender, though with more muscle than you'd think.
Scars: She's had to get stitches a few times (hello, she plays sports XD) and has gotten a few scars from that in various places.
Piercings/Tattoos: Ears
Personal Style:
Above all else, Erika tends to go for comfort. As a sporty girl, she usually wears clothes that she can get dirty in without much of a problem. As she is tomboyish in nature, she usually doesn't wear much along the lines of jewelry and makeup, although she does usually wear earrings (save for when she's at practice or a game - she doesn't want her jewelry to get in the way or cause a problem, after all). She also takes care to make sure that she looks nice, but primping in front of the mirror simply isn't her style, and it's evident.
Appearance:
The first thing most notice about Erika is that she happens to be short (one would think this would be a problem with her playing basketball, but as she normally plays defense, it actually isn't that much of a problem). She's also on the skinny side, though she does have some muscle, and is rather in shape. In other words, don't expect her to blow over in the wind any time soon. She has dirty blonde hair that goes a few inches past her shoulders, that is normally wavy but sometimes she will take the time to straighten it.
As far as her clothing, Erika doesn't put much more effort into what she wears than she needs to. She likes to look presentable, yes, but can usually be seen in comfortable clothes over all else. On her feet are usually tennis shoes (the one time she tried to wear high heels to a prom she ended up twisting her ankle badly), and she usually lies low on the jewelry, save for earrings and maybe the occasional bracelet. Sometimes, she can be seen with stocking caps on her head as well, especially if it happens to be one of those days that she just doesn't feel like putting much effort into her hair.
HOPE AND HORROR
MIXED IN BLOOD
Likes: Sports, activity, belonging to something, joking around, stealing, fantasy stories, stocking caps, comfortable clothes, boys, and mysteries
Dislikes: Feeling left out of anything, being forced to sit out in a game, high heels, detention, eggplant, her klepto streak, centipedes, snow, prissy girls, and infomercials
Dreams: After she graduates, she wants to play at least one college sport. Where she goes from there she'll see.
Fears: That her dreams will end in college (or worse, high school) like her father's did, that she won't be able to kick the habit of stealing when she wants to (when in reality she's already past this stage), and centipedes.
Habits/Hobbies: Petty thievery, sports, biting her lip and looking away when she's lying, and chewing her nails
Secret(s): She's full of them. The fact that she spends a lot of her spare time looking through people's lockers and cars for items to nab simply for the adrenaline rush it provides...oh, and the fact that she's figured out what RSOR is.
Personality:
When it comes to personality, Erika is an easy person to get along with. She is generally accepting of most people she comes across, and almost always will give them a chance before she makes up her mind about them (or doesn't let her first impression make too much of a dent). Rarely does anyone rub Erika the wrong way at first glance, but if they do, Erika usually just tries to avoid said person if she can. A forced encounter with them is a last resort, and Erika will usually become highly defensive.
One of the most important things to know about Erika is that she is an adrenaline junkie. The girl hates to be still and always seems to feel the need for a rush. She usually gets her fill through various sports she plays, but unfortunately has found another vice within the past couple of years...
Erika is usually pretty straightforward when it comes to telling the truth. Unfortunately her "addiction" is putting a hamper on this normally positive aspect of her personality. Usually, Erika is terrible at fibbing, and makes frequent flubs when trying to disguise a lie. As a result, she is usually easily called out in a lie. However, when it comes to her addiction, she finds that she is almost as addicted to the rush of lying as she is to the act of stealing itself.

Mother: June Martens, 43, editor
Father: Patrick Martens, 44, high school football coach
Siblings: None
Other: None
Pets: Two fish named Bo and Peep
Hometown: Riverdale, North Carolina
History:
It was a cool February day the day that Erika Martens was born to Patrick and June Martens. She was to be their only child, well cared for but not spoiled, though naturally Erika, being an only child, was doted on by he rparents more than most children her age. She had no siblings to compete with, so it only made sense.
Patrick Martens was always a sporty man. He played football in high school and college, and hoped to go pro some day. Unfortunately, his dreams never came to light, though he never lost his love for sports. He settled down to coach high school football in a town near Riverdale. A fire ignited in him once more as Erika expressed interest in a multitude of sports from a young age. Her mother and father hastily enrolled her in as many sports as her schedule could handle. In elementary and middle school, Erika played softball, volleyball, basketball, and soccer. By the time Erika reached high school, she only had time on her schedule for two spots. She decided on basketball and soccer.
It was in her junior year of high school that Erika had her first experience with stealing. She was out with a slightly older friend who, as Erika came to learn, already had a record. The friend did most of the dirty work, but as the slightly older friend picked the lock on a car and started to grab a few things from inside, she told Erika that she could pick out a few things herself. Erika was hesitant at first. She knew that what was happening was wrong, oh so very wrong. However, she did not want to look like a wimp in front of her friend. She went through with it, grabbing a stocking cap from within. This was all that she took on her first adventure, but as the two girls walked away from the scene giggling and discussing how relieved they were that they didn't get caught, Erika felt a rush that rivaled that of the rush she felt when one of her teams won a game. And so a new hobby started. Through 'adventures' with a friend of hers, she learned how to pick locks on cars and lockers, even a dorm room or two. Her friend graduated, but Erika remained. Unfortunately, the thrill didn't leave with the older friend. Erika was already too ingrained. She remained a petty thief.
It was more recently, when on one of her normal excursions through the locker of one of her absent classmates when the RSOR left for London that she happened to uncover the secret of the century. Or at least it felt like it to her.
What did Erika discover? A list of historical figures (reincarnates in the RSOR, though Erika did not know it yet). Erika didn't understand it at first, and who would expect her to, honestly? Erika pocketed the list and made a copy of it, realizing through the list that the person who the list belonged to was in fact a member of RSOR and in London at the time. The list was thus both stolen and returned before anyone even realized it was missing. Or so she thought, at least.
Even while realizing that what she did was wrong, she couldn't help but remain curious. She tried to keep the list out of her sight, but it certainly didn't leave her mind. The first thing that struck her as odd happened soon after the return from London. She was at home during Christmas break with her father watching the BBC. It was there that she heard about the strange events that supposedly conspired, like something out of Night At The Museum. Was it Erika, or was every single one of the names they listed on the list that she'd nabbed from that locker? Though she'd tried to stop herself from looking at the list she'd stolen, she couldn't help but chance a look to confirm or deny her suspicions.
Her suspicions were confirmed - Every name was on there, with the events conspiring at a wax museum that Erika knew from bulletins posted that the RSOR would be staying at.
The next month, the Oliver Winchester/Orville Wright scandal began. Erika was not Anti-RSOR, and otherwise would not have been concerned were it not for the fact that Orville Wright happened to be on her list, and that the RSOR seemed to be up in arms over what was going on...
Finally, the Wizard posts came about. It became impossible to ignore some of the seemingly inconsequential references that the Wizard made when paired up with the list of doom. Alice in Wonderland references with the author of Alice in Wonderland on her list. Perhaps the most interesting of all was comparing Talia and Carter to Bonnie and Clyde when both of those names were on the list. The names and RSOR were connected, Erika was sure of it. But how? She had Orville Wright connected to Oliver Winchester and Bonnie and Clyde connected to Talia and Carter, but what was she missing? And what's more, why were these names being connected in the first place?
The key incident occurred, along with a still stranger turn of events. The safeguards being taken were not ones that would be taken with an ordinary school club. She would be damn surprised (and rightfully so) if the principal let students carry around weapons if the key to, say, the locker room went missing. Yet she went to that length with RSOR. Not only that, but the students knew how to use the weapons. And Isabella Avadore showed no ordinary skill in that Youtube video posted...
She was missing one key element, though, and it was a key element that she searched for fervently. While she hated how she came across this information, she knew she was too close to stop.
The final puzzle piece came into place at the amusement park very recently. Erika was coming back from the bathroom to join her friends at the ferris wheel when she walked by the fun house and happened to see two shadows coming from behind a tent. Erika lurked close by, carefully concealed, where she overheard one Oliver Winchester conversing with Bianca Ryan. There, she witnessed the recruiting of the freshman girl, overhearing Oliver's recruiting questions as well as his introduction under his past name, and Bianca's to follow. She also overheard Raven Kass', and it was at that point that she decided to go back and join her friends.
It had become clear. The names on the list? Not just assorted historical figures associated with RSOR, but actually members of RSOR. Armed with the knowledge she has, Erika is torn over what to do next. Should she just leave well enough alone? Unfortunately, Erika is starting to know herself well enough to realize that this is impossible...

Mandee
[12/13/2010 9:23:13 PM] Mandee: 3 challenges 10 to a duel. What happens?
Both parties hijack a plane. 3 may or may not run over 7 with said plane on the way up. In addition, 10's father and uncle (also known as 1 and 4) will be hanging from 3's shoe, barking orders at her and begging her to land the plane. 10 will be flying the plane with expert precision because, come on, her father and uncle invented the airplane, her aunt was the first woman with a pilot's license in America, and she's NAMED after said aunt. She's bound to kick ass.
UNTIL.
Until 3 brings out the lasers. THEN IT'S ON.
3 shouts I'M SUSAN B. ANTHONY, BITCH and begins firing on our four year old flying ace. 10 starts crying in typical four year old fashion, but ALAS! An unforseen ally appears.
9 flies off of his usual perch on 1's face and begins to attack 3. 3 is having trouble controlling the plane. At this point, our younger heroine, 10, takes advantage of the situation and flies up close. She throws a Susan B. Anthony coin directly at the engine and the engine ignites, sending the plane careening toward the ground.
But 'sall good. They land in the Hudson River and everyone's safe. Man and moustache are reunited safely after being pulled ashore, and a tearfelt reunion is witnessed.
