I tried to be someone else But nothing seemed to change Since his London trip, Raven had been a little less sane and a lot more annoyed. He definitely didn't like people knowing who he was, and it was really making the line between him and Jack the Ripper blur, but that was because he was somehow paranoid that he would be caught. Which, nobody could really prove he was reincarnated, but still he was a rather paranoid person to begin with and this certainly hadn't been helping. Thus he was smoking considerably more than he used to, but at least he could legally aquire the smokes now. That was one less issue he had to worry about at least. Though he did have to worry about where the hell he was going to college, and about working out things with Leila. After all that would be a rather long-distance relationship, and they couldn't exactly work as a team if they were apart. There was also the fact that there was no way in hell he would be able to wait for her to graduate before he started killing. After all, he wasn't dealing well with waiting right now. Seeing as he would definitely be caught due to the fact that everyone in the RSOR would know it was him or Leila that did it. He supposed he could always blame it on a random serial killer in the area, but the chances of that were slim. So thus he was stuck in quite a predicament. He really needed some sort of outlet for his darker nature seeing as he couldn't just go on smoking a ton being that he was planning on becoming a doctor and thus knew how bad it was for his health. Hell, with the amount he smoked he wouldn't be surprised if he ended up with lung cancer before he became a doctor. Which meant he should probably cut down, but that also meant he would need to kill more people. Don't get him wrong, he didn't mind killing people, but it would make him look rather suspicious if he did so, and since he couldn't have that he would just have to deal with some lung issues for now.
Anyway, since he was outside, he might as well smoke and walk around a bit. Not like he had class at the moment anyway, so he sat himself against a tree and lit himself a cigarette. If they wanted to yell at him they would have to catch him first, and despite the fact that his lungs were a bit damaged by smoking, he could still easily run and jump the fence before they caught him. Though they would probably just end up punishing him tomorrow, but he wasn't concerned about it for the moment. Besides, he didn't see any teachers around anyway. So he was definitely not worried about having his smokes taken off of him. He did spot a few people he recognized, but he wasn't about to wave at any of them. Most people he knew didn't like him, or had a general grudge against him for something. Though that had largely to do with the fact he ended up going on a killing spree during the London trip. He did have a massive concussion and lost most of his sanity during it so could you really blame him? He was a serial killer after all, and some things just couldn't be helped. Besides, Bonnie shouldn't have left her gun lying around like that. Would have much much harder if he had to use just his knife. Hell, he probably wouldn't have killed anyone if that was the case. Well, maybe he would have gotten a few stabs in. It wasn't exactly a fair fight after all being that it was him against pretty much everyone else. Which was how he ended up dead as well, that and the fact that he couldn't really plan how to survive. Just make things up as he went. He had to say though, getting shot was definitely not a pleasant way to die, and it was considerably less fun to just shoot people.
It was about then that he noticed someone was walking towards him. Great, who was it and what the hell could they possibly want with him? He doubted any of the RSOR would approach him while others were in earshot, so he was pretty sure it wasn't one of them. Though some of them could get pretty gutsy if they were angry enough. Might accidentally out their secret if they did that though and there was a group that was quite suspicious so he was really doubting it was one of them. When the figure got closer he noticed it was a girl, and not one he was particularly fond of. She was a rather nosy thing he had to say, so he would definitely be watching what he said if he said anything other than a few words to her. No need for normals to know he's a serial killer too. Though in general he was pretty cautious so he doubted he'd slip up at this point. Unless she somehow managed to make him angry enough for him to start speaking with his accent. Then things could get complicated. He was half tempted to get up and go, pretending he didn't see her, but she probably knew he saw her already and avoiding her would look suspicious. So thus he went about smoking and looked at the girl doing his best to appear bored and not interested in her as a person. Which, being that he looked like that most of the time, he was pretty sure he was able to pull it off prety well at this point. He doubted this would be a pleasant conversation though. Probably her looking for information on something to use against someone. He hated people like that, if you were going to resort to blackmail then even Jack the Ripper didn't like you.

Man there were some weird people at Riverdale High. She didn't mind most of the weird. It either offered her a source of amusement, or it intrigued her. The oddities of RSOR (especially certain members, like her sister's boyfriend, or Isa) did both, and Errol...well, he did both as well. She still had a lingering crush on him, although her affections, in a strange twist of fate, were starting to divert toward one of the most unlikely targets of all. Vaughn Gallagher had been assigned to be her partner in chemistry. The rollercoaster that had ensued next was...crazy, to say the least. They'd argued their heads off in the actual classroom. She was surprised the teacher hadn't seen that there were issues and tried to separate them, but she also thought that if Vaughn hated her so much (as he proclaimed), he could easily go up to the teacher and say that he couldn't work with Tamara. The teacher would probably oblige. She was strict, but Tamara doubted the teacher wanted World War 3 to break out in her classroom. As it turned out, though, Vaughn had enjoyed the argument as much as she had. When the two communicated via instant messenger, they learned that they shared more in common than they thought at first, and that...well, that this whole partnership in chemistry? It just might work. In fact, Tamara wouldn't mind being paired with him for the rest of the school year, though she wasn't about to go so far as to admit that. Yet. Still, the fact that they could banter back and forth, that they could handle each other's tempers and barbs...that was a good sign. The boy that Tamara was currently watching, on the other hand? Total weirdo. There was no doubt about that. Her first instinct was to brand him simply as one of those token 'emo dudes', but Tamara was a magnet for drama, and she could tell that there was something else to this guy. He'd attracted Leila somehow, and Leila had been one of the sweetest girls ever before traveling to Europe. It kind of made Tamara sick, actually, how sweet and innocent Leila had been before. She kind of liked the new Leila. Still, Raven was weird, and she was fairly certain she'd seen him hanging around the hall near the RSOR room. That likely meant that he was involved with RSOR in some way or another. And Tamara was not the type to let sleeping dogs lie. She smirked a little as she caught him looking in her direction as she walked toward him. She stopped a few feet away from him, smirk still planted firm on her face. A few feet because even with her lack of knowledge, there was something about this boy that told her not to get closer. "Why the long face?" She inquired with mock innocence. I tried to be someone else But nothing seemed to change Raven was really considered an odd student. Sure his style wasn't that far off from quite a few other students, but that wasn't what made him odd. What made him odd was the fact that he pretty much talked to nobody. Also, there was the fact that he was dating Leila of all people. She had been the sweetest and most innocent girl in the school. The only thing was that she was a serial killer with an image to uphold. Seemed she didn't care about it anymore though just like he didn't care about acting sane around the RSOR students. He couldn't do that around the normals due to the fact that someone might get him stuck in a psych ward, but he could around the students who knew why he was insane. Honestly he couldn't help it either was just part of being Jack the Ripper. Though that also wasn't what made him odd. It was the fact that he really didn't talk to anyone at all. Would just stare at them and blink until they left or until they got on his nerves enough for him to snap at them. Which, while it wasn't often, it did happen from time to time. That also meant that at some point someone would annoy him enough for him to snap and just kill them. He really had to watch that one though which was why he didn't talk to people. Pretty much all of humanity annoyed him by just existing. Thus that meant that by talking to them he would just become more annoyed by how stupid most of them were. He had heard quite a few conversations just by the fact that people didn't notice him there or didn't realize he could hear them. He heard some very unintelligent things by doing that too. Things he wished he didn't have to know, but if he was going to kill while in Riverdale he might as well listen to what people were saying about disappearances or whatever in the area. Or to what people thought in general so he could figure out what to do if there was an issue or a body discovered or something. Seeing as his plan was just to make sure nobody found the bodies ever. Which usually meant burning them or dumping them in acid of some sort. Though where he would get that much acid at his age was anyone's guess. He doubted he could buy it without his parents being suspicious. They did think he was a bit off after all. Enough so that they sent him away from Vegas for his 'mental health'.
Anyway that wasn't really an issue in his book. He would be insane and everyone else would just have to deal with it. After all it wasn't as if it was their life thus they shouldn't worry about how his mental health was. Which, most people would see as fine on the outside unless they were in the RSOR. Then they knew just how insane Raven was. Which was pretty damn twisted. Really he was the only one that knew just how twisted he really was though. Even Leila hadn't seen everything he was capable of which was pretty messed up. His first kills back at home were pretty gruesome and it was suspected someone older and more experienced did them. Made it easier on him being that he wasn't a suspect. Who would expect a teenager was capable of doing things that only an experienced killer was comfortable doing after all? He was guessing very few people unless of course there was genetic proof of it. Which he was going to avoid at all costs. After all the serial killer didn't want to be caught ever and thus he planned on killing hundreds more in this life than in his last. He just had to make it through high school first and then figure out what the hell college he was going to. Not to mention he had to figure out some of what Leila was going to do too. Which made things more complicated. He certainly hadn't expected to meet Elizabeth Bathory that was for sure. Then again he didn't know he would ever meet another reincarnate in general let alone a female serial killer one. They really did make the perfect couple that was for sure. Though neither of them was really capable of love. That wasn't the point of their relationship though. Nope, it was to go on a killing spree for years without getting caught.
Then of course his thoughts were interrupted by some girl who obviously thought she was important enough to gather his attention. She really wasn't but he supposed he would look at her while she said something to him. At least she was keeping a little distance, which was pretty common, seeing as he didn't really like being close to people. He just raised an eyebrow when she asked him why the long face. That was the ending of a very bad joke, and he didn't find her even remotely amusing. Thus he just blinked at her. Really he didn't have a long face, in his opinion, so her question didn't really count for anything in his book. "That has what to do with number of licks it takes to get to the center of a tootsie pop?" he said simply. Hey, it was amazing he even said anything to her so she should be glad she got even a sarcastic remark such as that one. Meaning that he thought she was talking about nothing even remotely important in the slightest and that she should probably leave him alone. Would be a smart life decision seeing as people who pissed him off got put on a mental list of those to first die once he graduated. At least, that was what his plan was. To kill those that irritated him right after he graduated then go off to college and visit back to see his girlfriend when he could. After all, despite the fact that he didn't have many emotions he still rather liked her and had to coordinate some plans with her. Like if she wanted to kill over the holidays or something. He of course would do his best to arrange something for them if that wast he case.

Even if Raven wasn't so odd in other aspects, Tamara would consider the way he rarely talked to people odd indeed. It was very much the opposite of Tamara herself. She found joy in getting involved in other people's lives, whether for better or worse. Yes, she enjoyed making people's lives better too, but that spot was reserved only for people that she thought deserved it. Her sister. Errol. Kodi. Dare she say it...Vaughn? If you crossed Tamara in the wrong way, though (and let's face it, crossing Tamara the wrong way really wasn't that hard to do, given her attitude), she would do what she could to make your life a living hell. Sometimes she would even do it for the fun of it, but usually she had some sort of motivation, even if it was something so small as being a member of the RSOR. It was so much easier to hate a society as a whole than to find the true cause of all of this animosity. Raven was weird even given the society he belonged to, however. What intrigued her about him, however, was the fact that he was dating Leila. Tamara actually happened to be on decent terms with Leila. Not so much when Leila was putting up the innocent girl act, but now that Leila was letting her true colors shine. That didn't mean that she wasn't left to wonder what exactly caused the change, and The Wizard seemed to suggest that it had something to do with Raven. Therefore, Tamara was seeking out answers in typical Tamara fashion. And Raven was answering in typical Raven fashion. Tamara shot the senior her most 'what the fuck' expression at his tootsie pop comment. Was this guy high or something? This was the sort of guy that Tamara's parents would warn her to stay away from, but that held a sort of lure for Tamara. Had she known that Raven was in fact a serial killer responsible for killing several prostitutes in London in the 1800s she would probably hightail it in the other direction, but what she didn't know wouldn't hurt her, right? ...try again, Tamara. "What in the ever loving fuck are you talking about?" Tamara responded with her eyebrow raised. She figured with the way that the two of them were talking, it would take forever and a day to simply beat around the bush to get what she wanted. While on most days she would be willing to do this (part of the fun and all), she was already getting irritated by Raven's confusing comments. She was the one who was supposed to have the element of surprise and confusion, not him. The ball was in Raven's court, and Tamara felt threatened. Probably not as threatened as she should truly feel, but threatened nonetheless. "Tootsie pops. Is that how you're blackmailing Leila?" She responded in obvious sarcasm.
