[/blockquote]
Height: Five feet and three inches
Weight: One hundred twenty-four pounds
Eye Color: Bright blue
Hair Color: Platinum blonde, though not the fake kind
Build: She's very petite with a little bit of muscle, but mostly she's just skinny.
Scars: Clara has two large scars. A raised line runs down her right shoulder and on her stomach there is a slightly raised area the size of an orange on the right side of her stomach. Both of these scars are results of a major car accident when she was young.
Piercings/Tattoos: She has double piercings in her ears and a tiny tattoo of the Great Seal of the Realm on her back. One cannot tell what it really is by looking at it and her husband thinks it's a butterfly (he's not the brightest crayon in the box).
Personal Style:
As a former queen, Clara has always had a taste for expensive things. Unfortunately, this caused her a bit of trouble while she was away at uni and realized that she could not afford an expensive wardrobe on top of uni and everyday expenses. So Clara learned to scavenge for sales. As a result, Clara's wardrobe is a bit high class and she knows how to dress. Her jewelry and clothing are mostly bought off of Ebay or at second hand stroes, but she has some very nice clothing that might as well be designer brand. She tends to dress in blues and browns to accentuate her eyes (and so that her complexion does not appear washed out). Some may expect an art teacher to dress fantastically, but Clara prefers to be classy instead of showy. She appears fancy and put together without being gaudy. Her students describe her sense of style to be elegant and chic.
Appearance:
Clara's appearance can easily be described as pretty. She has never been one to focus all of her attention into her looks, but she carries herself in such a way that people immediately notice her beauty. Her long blond hair from her mother cascades half way down her back. It falls in soft long waves to add a bit of volume to her small figure. Her hair is extremely fine and is cut frame her pale face. Her pale complexion which she inherited from her father makes it impossible for her to tan. When she goes to the beach, she must carry sun tan lotion with SPF 70 to make sure she doesn't burn.
Clara's face is made up of rather plain features, but together they make Clara beautiful. She has a dimple of a nose that is diminished by her petite figure. Just like her father, she has a high proud forehead that is extremely English. Her lips are also small and barely pink, contributing her porcelain complexion. Her blush is a bit more rosy than her lips, but the overall effect is paleness. Luckily, her soft golden hair brightens up what otherwise could be a very sickly complexion. The other attribute to brighten up her face are her very animated eyes. Clara's eyes are sapphires that always tell a person what she is thinking. Her eyes are always shining and they bring life to her face. These eyes and the way Clara holds her self with ease and poise make Clara beautiful when she could be so plain.
HOPE AND HORROR
MIXED IN BLOOD
Likes: Sunshine, the smell of fresh paint, the feeling of charcoal and pastel between your nails, rules, classical music, colors, order, blank sheets of paper, traveling, clothes (and shoes, of course), parades, lists
Dislikes: Coffee, driving, computers, cacophony, people who talk a lot, students who don't try, tape, feeling like you forgot something, math, rule breakers, ignorance
Dreams: To find a reincarnated version of her Albert...
Fears: Thunder, bugs with more than six legs, losing those she loves, finding her Albert
Habits/Hobbies: Painting, sketching, playing the piano, collecting all Prince William and Kate Middleton memorabilia, watching the Tudors television series
Secret(s): Only fellow teachers know that she is a reincarnate and who she is. None of her students know because she likes to keep her work separate from her personal life. Also, no one (not even her new husband) know that she's looking for Albert's reincarnation.
Personality:
Clara is rather quirky. This, of course, to be expected because she is a reincarnate. The most prominent part of Clara's personality is her dedication and loyalty. She loves her work. When she's at home, her husband has to convince her set aside her work and actually do stuff with him. This comes from her past experience as Queen Victoria. She was constantly doing work at all odd hours. Frequently, Albert helped her with this work. Her new husband isn't quite like that, but she wants to train him to help her just like Albert did. Clara can't imagine doing anything but work all the time. She loves her students and wants to do her best to help them succeed. They're her life, just like the people of England were once her life.
Clara has a passion for everything she does. She loves art and music so much. Clara is simply a loving person. When she watches movies, she becomes attached to the characters in the film and always cries at the ending no matter how the movie ended up. The love Clara has everyone and life itself is conveyed in every action as well as Clara's art and music. She brings energy and enthusiasm to everything she does. In the summer, Clara works at a summer camp for impoverished children. Despite the mental, physical and emotional taxation of the camp, Clara wears a smile from ear to ear everyday there. She experienced much more exhaustion as the Queen of England after all. She wants to share her love of life with other people and she's doing it the best she can.
Beyond Clara's show of passion and energy, Clara has a personality that's practically a secret. There is pain and melancholy behind Clara's smiles and energy. Even her husband does not realize all of the sadness that dwells inside Clara. Everyday Clara mourns the loss of her family both of this life and of her life as Queen Victoria. She knows that her relations are spread throughout the world now and the sadness that she cannot find her great-great grandchildren and tell them who she is saddens her. Being a reincarnate is a burden to Clara. She has lived with it all her life and cannot find a way to embrace the secret part of herself. Instead, she shoves the sadness away into a corner of herself, but there are moments where the melancholy overtakes her. She has no idea how to deal with it and wishes she could do something...

History:
Clara grew up in England until age five. Her mother was an American journalist who fell in love with Christopher while covering a major story in England. They married and had a daughter, Clara, and later a son. They lived happily together for three years. During this time, Clara figured out that she was special. Her parents recognized this and tried to figure out what to do about their daughter. When they taught her how to talk, she had the vocabulary of a grown woman. When they taught her the alphabet, she already knew it. When they gave her books, she already knew how to read. When they taught her to add, she already knew how to multiply and divide. Her intelligence for such a young child was baffling to her parents, but Clara had no idea why they were confused. As memories from her old life came back to her, she even tried to tell her parents about them. These stories only further confused her parents. They had no idea what was wrong (or right?) with their daughter, but they knew they had to do something.
So one day when Clara was five years old, her parents decided to take her somewhere up the coast of England to an advanced preparatory school. The school promised to see to Clara's very advanced intelligence and make sure that everything was alright in Clara's very strange brain. Clara climbed in the car with her three year old brother William and her parents for a two hour car ride. During the car ride, it began to rain, as it often does in England. However, this was no light rain. A rare storm began to pour down on the surroundings outside the car. As Christopher rounded a bend in the highway, he lost control of the car. The car spun off the road and into a tree. Clara does not remembered what happened after the car hit the tree. She fell down in her seat and blacked out. When she woke up, Aunt Catherine was watching her through a glass window in the hospital.
Clara's father had been an only child and Clara's mother had one sister named Catherine. With such a lack of relatives, Clara was forced to leave England, the only land she would ever truly love, to live with her aunt and her aunt's new husband John in America. Clara left England after recovering from a major concussion as well as a major cut on her should and a major burn on her stomach. The concussion rendered the intelligence of Queen Victoria inoperable long enough for Clara to be admitted into a public American school. When all of Clara's memory was fully recovered, she discovered that the memories she had shared with her parents were actually a full lifetime. The few times she tried to share these memories with her aunt and uncle, she was discouraged. They also discouraged her to be any more intelligent than the average kindergarten student.
So Clara suppressed her memories until third or fourth grade when she could no longer ignore her memories of her other life. The memories became a part of her that she kept completely secret. While in school, her teachers always treated her with pity and sympathy because of her parents' and brother's deaths. As much as the deaths destroyed her, she hated to be treated like she was weak. All the pain she felt over their deaths were also shoved away into the secret part of her where she remembered her former life as Queen Victoria. As much as Clara tried to resist, she allowed her memories to influence her throughout school. She made herself strong and didn't allow anyone to decide things for her. By the end of high school, she both Homecoming Queen and the president of her class through her own efforts which were rewarded by her peers (it was also a small school, for the record).
In college, Clara decided the best way to help people (something she always aspired to do as a result of her time as queen) would be as a teacher. As queen, she had always fostered the arts and music. Now she thought she could continue her legacy by teaching others about art and music. She returned to England for school where she studied with the best. She also traveled around Europe and shopped a bit too much which caused her to go into debt to her aunt and uncle. This taught her a hard lesson in finances which she never truly learned as queen. Clara didn't know absolutely everything about life, which was a hard slap to the face. But she learned from it and went right on with her life.
After uni, Clara applied to many schools in both England and America. Some were prestigious and some were not because Clara knew that she was not likely to get interviews at important schools. However, Clara knew that if she did get such interviews, she could win them over. After many interviews, Clara had been offered a position at a very old boarding school in the English countryside. Just as Clara was about to take the job, she received a call from a school in Riverdale, North Carolina that intrigued her. She went to the interview with Ms. Hanston and something drew her to the school. There was something about Ethel that reminded Clara of herself, though she didn't know what it was.
After a year at the school, Ethel was the one who saw what Clara hid. One day, Clara sat down in the principal's office and she learned all about the RSOR. They recognized each other as two former queens of England. Clara felt less burdened knowing that other people lived with the same type of secret she had everyday. However, she could not bring herself to join the RSOR and asked Ethel to only let the fellow reincarnate staff know her true identity. She wanted to keep her personal life separate from her work life. If that wall was destroyed, the secret part of her personality would be displayed for all. Clara could not allow for that to happen.
Instead, Clara lived freely with the ability to talk to fellow reincarnate staff about her situation. She fell in love with her husband and got married. However, she remains restless. She does dream of finding her Albert reincarnated. She wants to tell her great-great grandchildren of her existence. And she wants to make difference in people's lives once again. She is not yet content with the life she leads. And she doesn't think that she ever will be happy with it.... but for now, she will make the most of what she has.

How do you know when you’ve hit rock bottom? The question tossed and turned in Caroline’s brain. Right now, she felt like she was there. Her whole life had been an act. A series of actions that had just been what was expected of her. Just going through the motions… Wasn’t she supposed to be better than this? She was a noble! But all that meant was a petty title, money, and more expectations than one could ever bear! How easy if would have been to slip away and just disappear. Life would be better for her country with out her in it. Caroline was about to cause so much trouble with just one tiny fact. But this fact? It had changed her life and would continue changing her life… forever. Caroline was pregnant. This wouldn’t be a big deal… if she were married. The child’s father was a prince. This wouldn’t be a big deal… if his country actually liked her country. Just those facts showed Caroline how much trouble was in. But then, the final blow came. Alex had left her. He didn’t want or need a child. He liked to have fun. She knew this would happen when she told him, but she broke the news to him anyways. He responded as she knew he would: he left. She had hoped for something different, but now she was alone. No hope was left for Caroline.
So, she had chosen to escape for the moment. Her penthouse was closed and locked. It almost looked like the house of Miss Havisham. Post-it notes were scattered the fridge with reminders of events that occurred weeks ago. A dress and shoes was laid out on the bed for a luncheon that occurred the day after she had left the capital. There only needed to be food left rotting on the table, stopped clocks, and Caroline for the analogy to be complete. However, Caroline had never been a fan of Charles Dickens, much less the crazy character he had created in the spurned bride. She was much stronger than Miss Havisham would not mope over rejection from the man she loved. At this point, all Caroline needed was a course of action. A plan. But such a plan would not come to her. She had thought. She had debated. Everything that came to her simply would not work! Why must things be so difficult? It was rather unfortunate. One screw up and all of sudden the world was crashing down on poor Caroline. She had never meant for this to happen, but isn’t that the way it always goes? Now, she just had to deal with this problem. She knew she would have the child. It would be best if the pregnancy could be kept a secret from everyone: her mother, her sister, her cousin… especially her cousin. At all costs, the queen could not find out about this. Anna was under enough stress as it was and Caroline was not going to add to it! So far, that part of the plan was down but it was the next part that was tricky… Caroline did not want to give the child up for adoption. She wanted to keep the child. Maybe it was a selfish notion, but therein lay the problem…
Currently, Caroline resided in an old country manor her family owned. Since age ten, the manor had grown outdated because it was not close enough to the capital (A whole hour! How dreadful!) and there was nothing of interest around it. Normally, when one of Caroline’s family members found they needed some rest and relaxation, that family member would visit the villa, which was only a half hour away from the capital. Thus, the manor was a natural place for Caroline to visit. In the countryside around the manor, she would not be disturbed. Caroline found peace and tranquility that she had sought. No one visited her and she was able to remain aloof and separated from that of the royal society. It was ideal. The manor held just a few servants (two maids, a cook, and a butler) and Caroline. A trusted doctor lived in town, just five minutes outside of the rolling hills that surrounded the manor. It’s true that the manor was still quite large in comparison to the typical family home. It could house more than twenty people in the downstairs alone, but that meant that Caroline had her space from even her staff. The servants knew why she was here. They knew what was going on, but what was more: they were all loyal to her. No one would tell her secret here. In this sanctuary, Caroline could form a plan in peace. Her stress level had gone down and she was doing wonders for her child. It was for the best.
Three weeks. Caroline had been here for three weeks. It felt like she’d been there a longer time span… She sat in one of the offices at a desk, checking her email. Click, click, click. She checkmarked emails from various acquaintances wondering why she hadn’t attended this or why she wasn’t home. The trash can icon filled before deleting everything. Her cell phone next to the laptop buzzed violently. For a moment, her heart fluttered and quickly looked at the caller identification. Her face twisted into disappointment as she pressed a side button to ignore the call of one of her favorite relatives. She knew that he wasn’t going to call, so why did she hope so much? It was so pointless! Until she got over all of this, she wasn’t talking her family unless she was forced. Hanover had enough trouble to deal with. Caroline could take care of herself. “Miss, lunch is ready. I know you haven’t had much of an appetite, but you really must eat!” a voice intruded into her thoughts. Caroline jumped, startled. She swiveled around to see Lucie, her maid and (at this point) closest friend. She nodded before turning to close the computer screen. The cell phone buzzed again, but Caroline ignored it, instead standing up and following Lucie out.
Though they walked together, Caroline didn’t speak to Lucie. Her head was still up in the clouds, thinking. They got to a sunny room with massive windows on one side. Her whole staff was already seated, waiting for her. She sat down so that they could eat. Lately, Caroline had had no appetite. The staff attributed it to morning sickness, but Caroline knew there was more to it. Lovesickness, possibly, or just the stress that lingered on. Still, Caroline went through the motions of eating, barely tasting the food though she was sure was delicious. Her cook had been making Caroline’s favorite dishes in hopes to bring up the duchess’s appetite, though she’d had little success. Caroline even participated a little bit in the staff’s conversation, though it was hard. Soon enough, the meal was over. Caroline felt like the whole thing had been a trial of some sort. “I think I’ll go lay out on the verandah. Some sun will do me good,” she announced over her shoulder. The staff murmured in agreement as Caroline left the room. They cared and put up with the girl, but sometimes, it could be a bit much. On the verandah, Caroline pulled a lounger up near the pool and lay down. Here, she could allow her thoughts to wander in peace. Maybe today, a true solution could be found…- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
