You've started noticing things do stuff they're not supposed to when you're around. Perhaps they change color, or move toward you. Maybe you know why, maybe you don't. Either way, things are explained on the day you turn 11. An owl, of all things, has delived you a letter with an ornate wax seal. In it is a list of what you assume are school supplies, although they're a little strange, cauldrons, wands, spell books.
Also included is this letter.
Dear Mr./Ms. NameHere,
We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted to Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Included is a list of school supplies you will need. We expect to see you on the Hogwarts Express at 11:00 on September 1st. The train can be found on Platform 9 3/4 at Kings Cross Station.
