JUSTICE LOGAN

Justice couldn’t resist adding. Justice had travelled at length in his first life as it was required of him. But it was only mostly within the United States. In this life he hadn’t been that far either, but he didn’t care much for travel. It disagreed with him anyways. If he could avoid it he did, but with celebrity status in his past life it was a necessity. He wouldn’t mind a trip to Hawaii though. Then again, as Oliver said, who would mind a trip to Hawaii?Justice was used to entertaining children. That was why he was so good with his nephews. He was their favourite person (mommy aside…seeing as she provided for them), oh…and they liked their dad too but I mean, Justice ignored him so he didn’t factor into this. But Justice was also proving his affinity to children in talking with Kristy. He understood children enough, and knew that they were simple, logical (if a little gullible), and pure minded. They were the best state of humanity. Though, even children could have a nasty streak and that possibility had gotten worse with the passing of time. In his time period, children were much more innocent than they were now. That was for sure!
But entertaining a grown man? Oliver was entertained by the conversation, clearly enough. Justice had originally been about just entertainment in general. Early Mickey cartoons were for adults more so than kids. It was just a progressive thing that made the Disney Company turn to children as a market. So he really shouldn’t have been so surprised, but Oliver was finding this exchange interesting to say the least. It wasn’t hard to read that on his face and it made Justice smile even more to know Kristy wasn’t the only one enjoying the conversation.
Justice couldn’t help but laugh at Oliver’s response to Kristy’s comment. ”I wonder if Nemo hangs out there from time to time too…”
Justice smiled widely at Kristy’s choices. Popsicles were always Justice’s fall-back. They lacked the dairy of ice cream and were really good. He might end up with a Popsicle himself. He didn’t comment on her choices though, not wanting to bias her decision.
”I am more of a fruity flavour type myself. I like popsicles, and rainbow or orange ice cream,” He of course meant sherbet. But Ice cream was easier for a younger child to understand. Justice himself didn’t know the difference till he was older. Of course, it was evident to him now, but it looked and tasted in ways like ice cream. It was just marginally different after all. That key difference being the milk/lactose.
Justice grinned widely as Oliver reminded them of the hair colour conversation. ”I should be careful or my hair may turn orange next!” Justice exclaimed as if he had forgotten.
He found the way Oliver treated Kristy amusing. It was like a big brother almost and considering that Oliver had no kids of his own, it made sense. Orville didn’t even marry from what Justice remembered, and as a result he didn’t have that permanent paternal bug that took effect sometimes. Justice was letting his paternal instincts loose with his sister’s boys. Floatsam and Jetsam might as well have been his own kids, as he spent so much time with them. They were always going to be safe and secure as long as Justice was around and Justice intended for that to NEVER change.
Justice appeared almost surprised for a moment at the mention of a possible job with Xelios. ”What brought about the idea to get a new job?” Justice made a little money on the side through commissions but right now he was working on a portfolio so that when he was done his senior year he would apply to Disney World and Disney Land to see if they would hire him on as an artist. He also planned to apply to the Disney Studios in hopes of getting in for animation. To complete the triangle he was also going to apply to colleges for animation so that if he didn’t get the jobs he would at least get into school for animation so he could apply after the program ended and see if that improved his chances. Justice’s dreams hadn’t changed much and he still wanted to make animate films. This time around, he was thinking of going with Pixar instead of the main Disney branch however. So he would see what happened from there.
”Congratulations. Good to hear things are working out for you,” Justice comment, pleased for Oliver. ”So will you be working desk, as a porter, snack bar or as a mechanic. I assume mechanic,” Justice asked. He knew the jobs at a bowling alley easily enough from being there. Justice enjoyed bowling even if he was really bad at it. Justice ignored the near slip of Wilbur’s name. At least it wasn’t actually flying around, as Kristy would likely pick up on the similarity to the book they had just looked at.
Justice watched as Oliver got hit with the book and gave a surprised look, turning to look at Kristy as she spoke. He laughed with Oliver, amused himself at the humour in Orville Wright being whacked in the head by a book about the Wright Brothers. The humour in it was not lost on him. ”The attack was ineffective!” Justice exclaimed quoting the Pokemon games. He had never been huge on them himself, but he knew plenty of kids who were huge on this games when he was younger.[/blockquote][/blockquote]
