Someone - and no one yet knows who - stole from Hanston her most important possession. A ring of 15 keys, all of different sizes and shapes. A ring of 15 keys that opened a set of locks, like most keys do. But unlike the rest of the keys in the world, save for ones owned by six other people, these keys unlocked the doors to the RSOR Hall, and right into the Headquarters themselves, and every lock within. In fact, if one had every single key needed to open the doors, the combination code could probably be forced past (it did have a mechanism to stop it from locking everyone out, should the pass code be changed suddenly), and when Hanston didn't find them in her desk drawer, she went into a frenzy. She almost called a lock down, and she searched all over Riverdale for her valuable and very much prized, keys. But for all her years and all her know-how, she couldn't find even one, lonely little key.
Whoever had took them had done his or her job well. But stealth was not part of the equation. Within hours, the entire school knew the set of keys not even the other teachers had was on the lamb, and that someone had it, someone that didn't have any ties to RSOR, someone that might have been int he Anti-RSOR itself! People talked, and soon no one knew who had the keys. 15 people do have the keys, though, 15 select souls. And some might like the idea of exposing RSOR once and for all.
Knowing that retrieving the keys could take months, Hanston summoned the Leaders Panel into her office, and in an unprecedented move, told them they were not only allowed, but had to, live at the stairs leading up to the RSOR HQ. They were to stop anyone getting in or out. Total lock down; six teens against the anyone who desired answers. Quickly, they armed themselves, and set up sleeping bags, pillows, and curtains on the stairs themselves. At least two of the six were present at all times, at least one of those weapons-knowing in the past life.
They keys, though, retain their potency, and it's all to clear that Riverdale will fight to the death over them.
Hanston, in the meantime, needs to find a locksmith that won't snitch.
So, what're you going to do with those keys?
