there's more to see than can ever be seen, more to do than can ever be done… JUSTICE LOGAN ==================================== Justice rubbed a hand across his forehead a moment, glancing out the window of the cafeteria. His salad was sitting forgotten with a drizzle of Raspberry Vinegrette dressing. He had a mess on the table in front of him including a lion king water bottle about half full with water, several notebooks, an open sketchbook infront of him, copic markers, pencils, inking pens, a ruler, two erasers and his backpack (which was laying open). There was some order to the mess but not much. Justice himself had a smudge of pencil on his face and his hands had a lot of pencil and marker on them. It was something that he couldn’t avoid when he was able to channel his attentions to his sketchbook. Though, sketchbooks were short lived with Justice. So were pants, if you considered all the doodles on them.
Justice Logan was known by anyone who met him as Disney crazed. Anyone in RSOR knew him as Walter Elias Disney—Or Walt Disney for short. Justice was one of the reincarnates that found adapting to the modern world simple most of the time and even obsessed over the amazing technology there was now that made animation that much easier than it was in his first lifetime. But that didn’t change his obsessive need to draw his characters like Mickey and Minnie. Justice had even gone a step further and learned how draw the characters created after his original lifetime and he was now amazing at doing those as well. Justice was to every norm just a Disney obsessed teenager who had indulged rather too completely into the Disney world, but most didn’t give it a second thought—or at least he was pretty sure they hadn’t.
Justice was even dressed Disney today. He was sporting a golden yellow shirt with the logo for Lion King the musical production. He had yellow and black socks hidden under blue jeans (his own and not his sister’s for the moment) which were covered in doodles from Bambi, Lion King, Jungle Book and 101 Dalmatians. His skate shoes were Disney, covered in Mickey Mouse comic strips (all printed on the shoes) and done up in red, yellow and black. His back pack was not quite Disney but close—it sported the Cheshire cat’s face from Tim Burton’s version of Alice in Wonderland. It had been a gift from his parents and he hadn’t wanted to explain to them that it wasn’t truly Disney—not the kind he liked at least. So for the moment he used it until they would forget about it, and then he would move back to his traditional backpacks.
Justice moved his eyes back to the sketch in his sketch book. It was an elaborate drawing including Characters from both Finding Nemo and Little Mermaid. He had crammed as many as he could into the sketch. He had King Triton, Ursula, Ariel, Flounder, Sebastian, Jetsam, Floatsam, Scuttle, Grimsby, Max, Prince Eric, Herald the Sea Horse, Nemo, Dory, Marlin, Gill, Bloat, Peach, Gurgle, Bubbles, Deb, Jacques, Nigel, Crush, Squirt, Bruce, Anchor and Chum. He hadn’t had space for all of Ariel’s sisters or even the side characters in Finding Nemo. All of them were enjoying some music and with different instruments around or near them (though not all of them sported an instrument themselves). Sebastian and Jacques were really hanging out—same with Nemo and Flounder. It was far from done, most of it just penciled in and a good 75% of it was inked in. Only about 20% of it was actually coloured at all using the copic markers. Though the intention was for all of it to end up inked and coloured in.
Justice picked up his thinnest inking pen and began working on inking in Squirt, as he had just finished inking Crush. He was concentrated and not so aware of the people around him. Lunch had just begun and Justice had been there since the beginning of the period before lunch, having a spare that period. As people were filtering into the lunch room, Justice remained blissfully aware, though he had pulled out his lunch. It was still sitting practically untouched and Justice forgot about it and ignored it just like he did the crowds.

================= <3 <3<3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3SO NEVERMIND THE DARKNESSwe still can find a way<3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3=================
Scribbling a few lyrics on her music sheet, the sophomore took a sip of her coffee and then went back to scribbling and drawing notes. She felt the buzz of the sugar and the caffeine trickling down her system, and her energy level rose, if only slightly. Drizzle was almost completely sure she was going to have a sugar shock one day or something. It was only logical. She looked down at what she’d been eating—no less than a cup of coffee and a large slice of chocolate cake. She sighed softly. Well, she was having too much sugar lately, but she needed it. She wasn’t good with dealing with stress, or with pressure. And her past life was just a good proof of that fact.
Yes. Whoever knew Drizzle Benetto as Janis Joplin would know how much she regretted a lot of mistakes she had committed, and how scared she was of going through the same death again. Granted, she was damn straightedge in this life, so she probably wouldn’t have that risk anymore. But still, the thought itself was crippling. It still haunted her… so, instead of dealing with stress via illegal substances, she dealt with it by consuming large amounts of… sugar and caffeine. Uhm… okay, not quite healthy, but it worked, no? It distracted her from whatever situation was stressing her. The sugar rushes were fun, too… most of the times. People often found them to be just plain annoying; they just made her energy levels rise much more… as if all the energy she already had wasn’t enough.
If it wasn’t her energy what drew people’s odd looks, it was her clothes. All her bright, multicolored, home-made dresses, multiple hair clips and ribbons, bracelets, necklaces and converse shoes were just bound to draw attention. All the brightness of her current outfit –yellow, with blue, purple and pink patterns, blue converse shoes and a pink ribbon tied upon her head were impossible to miss. Then again, it was a trademark of hers, as was the glossy red Fender Stratocaster that now sat neatly beside her on the empty table. She didn’t see what was wrong with her making her own outfits. She remembered the look of shock she had received from her mother, aunt, uncle and little cousin when she came down the stairs one day, at the age of twelve, wearing a purple dress, a blue corset, fishnet gloves, pink ribbons and converse shoes to match them, and long rainbow socks. Really, what was wrong with being original? Again, whoever knew Drizzle was Janis Joplin would pretty much know she was never one to stick for blending in. She had to stand out, and be different. Not that she liked being the center of attention… it just seemed that, being who she was, she drew it just naturally.
Taking a large gulp of the coffee cup, Drizzle looked down at her music sheet and scribbled a few more lyrics. A slight frown appeared on her face, and she folded the sheet, tucked it into her pocket, and started glaring at a new one with a half frustrated look on her face. Songwriter’s block… one of the most annoying things that existed. Especially when your little cousin was celebrating a birthday and you were writing him a song instead of buying a present. Now, Drizzle wasn’t being overly possessive with her money… she just didn’t have enough. Though, writing a song for her cousin was a hard job, as she didn’t quite know what type of music Santiago liked. She’d seen all sorts of posters in his bedroom, and most of them were quite scary. Heavy metal? She had no experience with that one. Rap? Ewww… Hip-hop? Just… no. Oh, if he only had a taste for blues, or for oldies rock, this would be so much easier…
But, she wasn’t complaining. No, this was a challenge. A frustrating one, none the less, but a challenge. And she was willing to complete it successfully. As she jotted down a few lyrics, she played with the plastic spoon she hadn’t used at all, tapping it into the table with her free hand... well, until it flew from her hand, hit a nearby wall and fell to the floor. Drizzle stared at it and giggled softly at the sight, just hoping it hadn’t hurt anyone in its epic flight to the floor. ”Oops…”was all she could manage to say. The rest of her phrase was drowned by giggles.

there's more to see than can ever be seen, more to do than can ever be done… JUSTICE LOGAN ====================================
Justice sat back a moment to admire his work, his mind drifting a bit. The Recent Wizard Post had included him and his sister, which was distressing. Mostly, because of part of what was said. Justice didn’t mind being called gay. Hell, it didn’t bother him at all cause he didn’t see it as an insult, even if he was heterosexual. The truth of the matter was, he wasn’t interested in a relationship. Given the time, yes, he may consider having a relationship again, but so far he hadn’t see the reason to date. He still loved Lillian. She was his wife and sure she had moved on after he died, but he couldn’t do the same. He didn’t even hold it against her. It was simply the fact that he loved her so completely.
It was the other part that had Justice’s skin crawling. To even suggest that he and his sister had done something was horrifying. Justice loved his sister, as his sister, not as anything else. He loved her kids as well, and yes he despised their father, but there was NO WAY IN HELL he would have done anything with Sylent, EVER! And she would feel the same way. Bring from Texas didn’t mean you loved your siblings like that. It was illegal even if someone did, and anyone who did have that mindset was disgusting!
After seeing it Justice had spent a lot of time trying to keep his mind busy. He didn’t want to think about the Wizard post and he even started to sketch more than normal—if that was possible. He was already obsessive in his sketching and doodling, but to take that extra step to do it even more constantly…Justice was really getting pathetic. He needed to get this damn Wizard post out of his mind.
It was the spoon flying past him and hitting the wall that snapped him out of his thoughts. He paused only a moment before looking at the spoon and then over his shoulder at Drizzle. Drizzle was in RSOR and if he remembered right she was Janis Joplin. She had a constant sugar high and it took a lot of energy to keep up with her. Justice shook his head turning to look back at the spoon and then back at Drizzle.
”was that you?”
he asked with an amused grin. He assumed based on the giggles that there was no way it was anybody else. It seemed Drizzle was sitting on her own as well. ”You are welcome to join me if you’d like…” He offered, motioning to the table which was still covered in his art supplies. He would have joined her if not for his already made mess.[/blockquote][/blockquote] ==================================== •• Tag • Drizzle Benetto •• •• Words • 456 •• •• Outfit • CLICK •• •• Lyrics • "Circle of Life" by Elton John ••

================= <3 <3<3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3SO NEVERMIND THE DARKNESSwe still can find a way<3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3================= When it came to gossip, Drizzle tended to get out of the way. A lot of girls her age seemed to find it like an interesting hobby, but she didn’t. She never spread, or believed any rumors. She didn’t talk about people behind their back. The basic laws of karma stated that whatever good you did would return, and so would the bad. Granted, as a child, she might have slipped a couple times and gotten back at the mean girls in elementary school for insulting her, but hey, she didn’t do it anymore, and that was what mattered, no?
So she never paid attention to gossip. Taking the Wizard for example, he -or she, or it, or something like that- was taking facts from people in RSOR and twisting them into spirals of evil. Half the things stated in the bulletin board just sounded ridiculous. So she pretended that those rumors didn’t exist. Deep down, though, she was grateful she wasn’t one of the more well known members of RSOR, though. As capable as she was of ignoring gossip, if someone spread any ill rumors about her, she’d probably punch them… and let go of her pacifist beliefs. She shivered at the thought as she took a sip from her coffee. Again, caffeine trickled down her system and she felt a whole new wave of energy run down her back.
She would obviously be WAY too awake the rest of the day. This was her second cup… oh well.
”Oh…?”
Drizzle stopped giggling almost immediately after Justice spoke to her. ”Sorry,”she answered, still holding back a light, innocent laugh. ”That was an accident, I promise,”she said, having finally controlled her laugh. Drizzle didn’t really have much contact with Justice, but she did know the Wizard had made some nasty remarks about him. That had pretty much gone beyond being mean. She decided not to bring it up, though. It wouldn’t help at all.
She did smile at the offer, though. ”Sure, just give me a second…”she took the last -large- gulp of her coffee, tossed the empty cup into a nearby recycling bin and quickly gathered her music sheets, the guitar and her backpack and walked over to take a seat in front of Justice. ”That’s a nice picture,”she commented, eyeing the sketch he was working on. Drizzle had to admit, she envied him for knowing how to sketch. The best thing she’d ever managed to draw had been stick figures, and even those seemed a bit shaky to her. Her mother loved those, but Drizzle on the other hand just found them silly. She decided to let go of it, though, and take out the music sheet she’d been working on…
…damn, for as long as she didn’t lose those sheets. She still signed them as J. Joplin and having a normal find out… well, that would be bad.

there's more to see than can ever be seen, more to do than can ever be done… JUSTICE LOGAN ==================================== Justice didn’t know where the Wizard was going yet, though he was rather concerned. Whoever was targeted was getting minimal grief at least but it was causing some problems within RSOR. There was too much stress that the secret of RSOR may be revealed and then there was the stress of the rumours. They had caused some fighting and some grief within the group. RSOR was still strong but the secrets the leader’s panel was keeping the strange behaviour from some members, it was all causing signs of the club falling apart due to paranoia. Of course, it wouldn’t, but the thought was in Justice’s mind.
Justice smiled. ”It’s alright. It happens.”
He responded, more amused at her response and her mannerisms than anything else. The fact that a flying spoon could entertain someone like that was sort of amusing in itself. Of course, this was Drizzle and she was easily entertained—at least from what Justice had seen. He hadn’t had much contact with her, but enough to observe her a bit over the times in the RSOR room. Justice hadn’t been there as much lately. Perhaps the Wizard rumour had gotten to him. ”Sure” he responded as he watched her gather her stuff and move it over to the same table he was sitting at. Seemed she was working on her old entertainments just like he was. That was one thing about the people in RSOR, they just couldn’t drop their old talents. It wasn’t possible. They were born to do these things and then trained in some cases. It was hard to let go. Justice should know…he couldn’t let go of his animations, and his doodles—let alone his wife. He still hadn’t dated in this life, too attached to Lillian to let her go just yet. Even if she was truly gone. ”Thank you. It started as a doodle, then turned into a complex sketch. That happens to me sometimes.” he admitted. Justice had a few pairs of pants he refused to wear now too, due to the sketches on them. Some of the sketches had him attached to them and he didn’t want to machine wash the pants and lose the doodles. He really ways a pack rat when it came to his doodles and sketches, something his grandmother was getting a bit terse over. ”You writing more music?” He asked, noting what she had with her. It made sense for Janis Joplin to be writing after all. He had no skill for music, but everyone had their separate talents in RSOR. He listened to the music of masterful musicians long dead, so he had all the music he needed in his life. Just like everyone in RSOR admired his doodles, or fan obsessed over Aiden’s work. It just happened that way.[/blockquote][/blockquote] ==================================== •• Tag • Drizzle Benetto •• •• Words • 467 •• •• Outfit • CLICK •• •• Lyrics • "Circle of Life" by Elton John ••

================= <3 <3<3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3SO NEVERMIND THE DARKNESSwe still can find a way<3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3=================
It usually would seem that Drizzle was caught in her own little world. And in a way, she was. It was something that stemmed from her childhood; she was always overprotected. Overprotected, and sheltered from the cruelty of the world. Many children were usually raised like that; she guessed. The main difference was that Drizzle had also faced her parents’ divorce and no sheltering could block that. In some ways, Drizzle was caught in her own little world. In others, she could be more mature. A mature person could deal with almost anything. That included those stupid rumors. She ignored them; and appreciated the fact that, whoever was spreading them returned the favor. Mature people did that. Or… well, most of the times. She figured, she wasn’t the right person to state anything about the matter.
For as long as whoever it was didn’t start spreading rumors about her, she’d just go on ignoring it. That was the golden rule: treat everyone the way you want to be treated. If that exchange was broken, Drizzle would just go, take a baseball bat and hit whatever came in the way. The violence of her thoughts surprised her. She was almost ashamed that she could harbor such reckless, blunt thoughts.
”Guess it happens. I never learned to draw,”she commented, and a light pout appeared on her face. It faded quickly, though, and she went back to staring at the sketch in mild childish curiosity. She couldn’t help but feel a little jealous; though she was able to put that feeling away and go back to her music sheets. She had already filled a few lines and was humming the melody to herself; trying to give it some rhythm. She smiled only slightly when Justice asked if she was writing music. ”That I am. I was just kinda bored, and my cousin’s birthday is coming, so I figured I could write him a song,”she explained absently, scribbling a few more lyrics on the page. If only Santiago wasn’t so picky when it came to music… then the task would probably be a one hell of a lot easier; but she couldn’t complain – plus the lyrics she already had were pretty good. At least in her point of view.
She put her pen away and took a rather large bite of the piece of cake she’s brought with her. Oh, the sugar rushes. What a joy. It seemed that whenever she was tense, she ingested more sugar than usual… she wondered if that was a normal thing. It was almost like her past life… except that this was sugar, not drugs. It wouldn’t harm her much, apart from dental problems, she guessed.”Umm, so how have you been? I heard Sylent had her children, by the way. Congratulations,”she said once she had swallowed the whole thing. A sincere smile played along her lips; showing genuine happiness. Drizzle was almost about to take another bite of the cake when she suddenly thought… oops. Where the heck were her manners? ”Ummm, do you want cake?”she asked. Mentally, she just wanted to smack herself for almost being rude. As if her ‘normal’ impression wasn’t enough…

there's more to see than can ever be seen, more to do than can ever be done… JUSTICE LOGAN ==================================== Justice had lived two completely separate lives with separate childhoods. His first life had been more free, less dangerous and with a lot more running wild with his friends. This life, he had felt like a social outcast due to his hippy parents but he had relied more on his sister than he had relied on anyone in the past. He was fine with that too, seeing as he was living alright now. But his parents had caused some social alienation…Justice was effected by their choices. Though, how it had affected him was more notable around particular people and in particular circumstance. Like his eating habits for example. Being a strict vegetarian for so long has its lasting effects…
As a result he, like anyone else, handled situations in his own unique ways. As Walt Disney he had bounced his ideas off of his wife. And on occasion he found someone to do that with in this life, but not nearly like he had with Lillian. In this life, Justice drew. He drew, drew and drew some more until he had a solution. Then again that had sort of become his answer for everything in a way. And the fact that he had discussed the rumours with Sylent had helped of course. But Justice and Sylent had chosen to avoid a public reaction of any kind, that way this Wizard person wouldn’t get any satisfaction out of them.
”Never learned how to draw?”
Justice repeated, a little puzzled. He was sure that Janis Joplin had painted but he couldn’t be sure. ”You don’t really learn how to draw per say. It’s more like we all innately know how as a child and its based more on whether you keep drawing or lose the skill.” Justice explained with a smile. He had honed his skills more and more with the passing of time. ”The only learning involved with drawing is knowing what pencil to use and when, but also in particular subject matter. For example, Mickey has particular dimensions and guidelines to draw before filling him in so that he remains an exact visual replica of the character. Those dimensions are learned, but the drawing itself is merely picking up a pencil and using it. Drawing is more about learning a variety of skills and then applying them to the innate knowledge of drawing.” Justice explained, trying to show her what he meant by sketching Mickey’s dimensions on a scrap piece of paper before filling in the details and forming a rough sketch of Mickey. Justice smiled when he understood that Drizzle was making something for a loved one. ”It’s funny how those of us who are previously artistically graced all produce works for family or those we care about. It’s a wonder no one finds any similarities.” He kept the statement vague so any Norms listening in would remain clueless but he was referring to the writers, artists and inventors within RSOR and how they all created for others. No one questioned when Oliver handed out remote control planes. No one asked questions when Justice gave out Disney sketches and posters. And no one questioned when Drizzle wrote them a song. It was a wonder they hadn’t been found out yet. Justice noted the cake and wasn’t surprised. It was Drizzle after all. Though he was pretty sure someone needed to give this girl an intervention. He ignored the cake as the conversation shifted. ”Yes she did. And Thank you. Floatsam and Jetsam are quite precious.” He admitted, not able to prevent the smile that played across his face. He also had used his nicknames for the boys, as he was insistent that the names stick and that everyone recognize his own way of placing a claim on his nephews. Justice glanced up surprised at the offer of cake and smiled apologetically. ”It’s alright. I have a strict diet so I don’t consume milk or eggs. Thank you for the offer though…” Justice added with a polite grin. Okay, so Justice did eat eggs and milk occasionally, but never with the intention. Eggs he pardoned seeing as they were not a live animal. Milk he didn’t enjoy and found made him somewhat sick so he avoided it, all by-products of his aforementioned hippie parents.[/blockquote][/blockquote] ==================================== •• Tag • Drizzle Benetto •• •• Words • 714 •• •• Outfit • CLICK •• •• Lyrics • "Circle of Life" by Elton John ••
