Gideon likes to be comfortable. He wears tee-shirts made from a hundred percent cotton. And he wears darker jeans, because they are easy to move in, and they make him look smaller than he is. He is a fan of Doc Martens or black work boots. He has to walk to work every day, and the way to work has some strange and uneven footing. He has weak feet, so they need to be encased in something hard.

Face Details: He has a very strong face, with a square jaw and a wide and beautiful smile. His nose is rather large, but it works with his face. His eyebrows are very neatly groomed, and he plucks them once a month. He has dimples on both cheeks when he smiles.
Body Details: He is enormous. That about sums it up. He is over six feet four inches tall, and weighs an astonishing two hundred and sixty pounds of pure muscle. He is completely ripped and flawlessly tan.
Distinguishing Features: He has strangely delicate hands. They have enormous palms and long fingers, but they are very strong and can work with small parts in electronics, cooking measurements, and flowers. Most of his tattoos are from his wilder days, but he has fond feelings for them, and wears them proudly around the grounds.

Secret(s): He is the reason his wife left. It was a misunderstanding with one of his co-workers that ended up in a hug. And then a kiss. And then an affair. When Natalie found him with his co-worker, she left him. He had felt alone long before that, however. That is what caused the affair. She was an alcoholic, that would drink herself catatonic. He felt deserted. And he wanted attention and love.
Personality: Gideon is very thoughtful. Maybe it was the fact that he grew up with a single mother, but he is a good listener, and once he knows the best technique to make someone happy or more comfortable, he never forgets. Whether it is a meal, a cuddle, or what ever, he will do anything to make someone happy.
Along with being thoughtful, he is very romantic. He is a big teddy bear, in every sense of the word. He loves to cuddle, and create the mood. Another plus of growing up with his mother and only his mother, is that he knows what women like in relationships. He lights candles, and listens to jazz music. He gives flowers, and presents and lots of massages.
Besides being those things and being a cook, he is very masculine. He loves his strength, and he loves being the protector of the weaker people in the group. He lets his facial hair grow out, and he loves getting tattoos. He likes being the dominant in the relationship. He doesn't like being babied by anyone other than his mother, and he can take more than a few hits. Once, while home, he took a shot to the arm and didn't notice until he saw the blood.
Strangely enough though, Gideon is very shy. Mostly in romantic or awkward situations. When he is with his friends and family, he is very extroverted. But present him with someone pretty, and he instantly blushes. Once, while conned into going to a strip club for his bachelor party, he blushed so furiously, and curled in on himself so severely, that the hired stripper ended up asking for his number, because he was 'the most honest and sensitive guy that had ever walked in on her shift.'
Gideon also has a very strong sense of morals. He believes that what is right is right, and there is no grey area in between. However, his sense of what is right is not always what is stated by the law. He believes that good people should be left alone, and that people who do bad things should pay for it. No matter what power the people hold, or what the people have done. This has gotten him in quite a few fights with police officers. He will fight for the weak, and often gets incarcerated for small amounts of time for that reason.
