Personal Style: Orestia will wear anything from any label, although she refuses to wear ridiculously overpriced designer stuff, believing it to all be a con. She enjoys wearing pretty dresses and playsuits...the brighter the better. Most of the clothes she wears are colourful with lots of patterns...it is rare to see her in pastel colours or pure black but she does wear the odd outfit with this pallette. She will shop anywhere...Hot Topic, Hollister, even Walmart if there is something that really catches her eye. She tends to go for childish accessories and owns a huge collection of Hello Kitty jewellery. She is never seen without some sort of hair accessory whether that be a bow or a flower. As for make up she tends to go for dark eyes with nude lips, unless she is dressing up in which case she will make more of an effort on make up.
Appearance: The first thing people notice about Orestia is her hair. It's big, it's bold and it's bright. It is never the same colour for long as she tends to get bored easily and will dye her hair for something to do. She has sported an array of colours from pink and purple to blue and green. She has been known to have come to school one week with her hair dyed in the style of a rainbow. She also enjoys turning her hair into a giant pattern, and has been seen rocking coontails, leopard prints and bats in her hair. If there was one word to describe Orestia's look and attitude then it would be scene.
Orestia is of average height although she is one of the shorter girls in the grade and is at a healthy weight. She is actually quite pale but she uses fake tan to combat that, although not too much...just enough to give the appearance that she had holidayed in the Caribbean recently. Orestia tends to be avoided because of how she looks and hangs around mainly with others in her grade who are considered alternative. She does have piercings although she has to hide her septum and her others are hidden anyway, although she is planning on snake bites soon.

Personality:
Happy; Orestia is almost always seen with a smile on her face. She's one of those half full kind of people and she always looks on the bright side of things. She is able to laugh at herself and finds the simplest things amusing. She likes to make the people around her feel good about themselves too, even if it is at the expense of herself. You can almost straight away tell when Orestia is upset or moody but she usually doesn't stay like it for long and is soon back to her smily self.
Wacky; Not in the nut job kind of way but she certainly has an immature sense of humour and finds a lot of random things hillarious. She enjoys dressing the way she does etc as it shows her true self - colourful, bold and confident.
Confident; She KNOWS she looks good. She's not the type of person to push her confidence in other peoples faces but she has been known to toot her own horn a few times. The fact that she can go bigger and better with her hair and her clothes without caring what others think certainly makes her more likeable though.
Gullible; Tell her almost anything and she'll probably believe you for a while. Unless its something stupid such as somebody keeping the loch ness monster as a pet, she is easily lied to, no questions asked.
Dimwitted; She's not the brightest in the school but she does try hard. She average at around a C but with subjects she struggles at such as Chemistry she'll average a D. She barely scrapes by with her grades and she has been known to have a lot of, for lack of a better word, idiotic moments.
Easily avoided; A lot of people are put off by the way she looks and avoid her. Orestia isn't really bothered with this though...she kind of enjoys having this effect of people, although she is prone to unkind comments every now and then. Silver lining though...jealousy's an ugly emotion. Orestia just smiles on in the face of adversity.
Sweet; She's a good person through and through and her happy nature goes hand in hand with her sweetness. It is hard not to enjoy her company once you get past the confidence and the wackiness.

History: Born on 31st July 1995, Orestia became the second and youngest child to Karen and Adam Barwell. However, Orestia was born and christened with the name Jennifer Alexandria Barwell - a first name that she had always found boring. From a young age she insisted for people to call her other names. Anything but Jennifer. It was clear even then that Orestia would grow up to stand out from the crowd. She had a happy upbringing and was considerably close to her older brother Tom. Their relationship was extremely close and it was rare for them to exchange harsh words and fight with each other. When they did, it was easily and quickly resolved. Even now Orestia remains close to her brother, even though he now studies at a college in California and she hardly gets to see him. Tom was the person who found the name Orestia and after deciding that it fit perfectly with her middle name she insisted for people to call her by this new name instead. Her name is not legally changed as yet and she still has to sign things under the name of Jennifer but her parents have promised her that she can change it legally when she turns eighteen.
Orestia was bought up in a middle class environment. Her home was big enough to accomodate the family, but it wasn't the size of a castle. She attended a public elementary school and then a public middle school. It was in middle school that she began to find herself and started to enjoy mixing up her clothes so that her patterns clashed and she was always wearing something bright. It seemed that the brighter clothes she wore, the happier she seemed to be. When she got into Riverdale she had begun to dye her hair. For her first day at Riverdale, she sported long, dark brown hair with flashes of purple and a blue and white polka dot dress with a sunflower in her hair with plenty of Hello Kitty jewellery. She seemed to mix well with the more alternative types of kids and quickly made friends. From there her style began to grow and grow until she was considered a scene kid.
Because of the way she dressed, she ultimately got a lot of bitchy comments but even then her happiness radiated enough that most people stopped with the snideness and left her to it. She's still avoided to this day by certain groups of people but she doesn't let it bother her. She loves who she is and what shes about. Because of her sweetness and gullibility she is easily lied to however, which is where RSOR comes in. She leaves the RSOR members to whatever they're up...she's not incredibly fussed over exactly what they are up to and if she ever does ask questions she is easily swayed. She is deffinetly not a threat to them.
