Gather information for RSOR. It seemed like a simple enough task, and it was certainly one that she was going to put as much effort into as she could. She knew how important maintaining secrecy was for the RSOR, lest the wrong information fell into the wrong hands and was made public. Some RSOR members would be executed for past crimes, others would be lifted to near God status, while others would likely have their talents exploited. At the very least, she was certain that everyone would receive unwanted attention. Even Alison, who enjoyed the limelight, had to admit that she wouldn't want to be in the limelight for that reason. Especially as it meant revealing the identities of people who wanted to stay concealed in the shadows, so to speak. There were three major targets, she'd been informed by Isabella and Petra. Three major players who were trying to figure out all the secrets of RSOR. Her past brothers made sure that she was privy to this information. Past brothers. One was her brother in this life as well, and the other was her brother's roommate. Funny how things like that worked out. Also funny that the baby of the family turned out to be a few weeks older than the formerly second youngest in this life, but Alison didn't plan to rub it in...much. She figured she could get to Tamara and Errol later. The two of them were older, and it would seem highly suspicious if she just went up to them and asked them for information about what they knew concerning RSOR. She knew she could explain off her curiosities as knowing that her brother was in RSOR, but she did not feel that this was a logical starting point. The third target, Kodi Chandler, was the most logical place to start, really. Kodi Chandler was her dormmate, and the two girls got along fairly decently as it was. In fact, she could recall conversations in the past, before Alison knew what RSOR was, discussing what on Earth RSOR might be. Now Alison knew very well the secrets of RSOR, but she could not let Kodi in on them. Alison figured that breaching the subject would be easy enough. All she would have to do would be to casually mention RSOR. The conversation would hopefully take on a life of its own from there. The fifteen year old had her books scattered around her bunk as she attempted to work on French homework. This wasn't too hard for her, seeing as she'd taken some French in order to help her brothers in...well, France, in her past life. Nevertheless, she hadn't used it in quite a while, and even in her first life it wasn't her first language, so while she understood the basics, it was nice to have a bit of a refresher. Especially knowing that one of the leaders she was working for happened to be French. The last thing she wanted to do was offend Isa with improper French. So she was simultaneously doing homework for class and for RSOR. How was that for multitasking? She wasn't paying so much attention to conjugating verbs at the moment, though. Rather, she kept going over what she might say to Kodi in her head. She knew that it was best to be prepared. Really, she wanted the conversation to take on a casual feel, while still gently gliding the conversation where she wanted. That was something that took a bit of preparing beforehand. Alison tapped her pencil on the book before her. Fortunately, if anyone walked in it would most likely look as though she was pondering on her homework, and not over how to crack the secrets of those who were trying to crack the secrets of RSOR. So far so good. Word count: 639 To: Jez-E/Kodi Notes: Hope this is good. XD

to walk within the lines, would make my life so boring… KODI CHANDLER ==================================== Kodi had talked with Alison more than a few times. They were room mates after all. Kodi’s natural curiosity had lead to her ask Alison questions in the past and the two had conversed many times. Kodi found anything more interesting than homework usually and used anything as an excuse to put the homework off. Of course when she did homework her grades were phenomenal and she could tolerate doing homework—but she just liked to do anything else more.
Today she had gone out and done a bit of running. She had just decided to jog a bit and then head back to her dorm. She had been out half the morning so instead of wearing something more logical for jogging she was in jeans and a sleeveless shirt. Her coat was on over top due to weather but she was certainly comfortable in her clothes.
Upon getting back to the dorm she slung her coat up on a hook and kicked off her flats. That was the worst part of her jogging. She should have grabbed some running shoes. Having dropped her bag next to the door she walked into the kitchen to get a drink of water. She wasn’t sure if Alison was about…or their other room mate, Camille.
Kodi also had no idea that Alison had been recruited to RSOR. And the field day she would have if she ever found out would be amazing. Especially, after meeting Tamara. Kodi had been recruited herself into something…anti-RSOR. And she was getting pretty passionate about it. Anti-RSOR was just trying to find out what the hell RSOR was. RSOR was truly the mystery of the school, and if Kodi could be the one to crack that mystery…oh how awesome would that be?
Kodi hadn’t considered talking to Alison about it since meeting Tamara. And though Kodi had yet to meet Errol she was already a key member of Anti-RSOR. She was wondering what her role in group would be but it seemed she had already made herself important and key to their efforts. Kodi had suggested formulating almost file-like pages for the known RSOR members. More directly, making a list and just compacting what they had discovered under the member on the list that it corresponded with. Kodi had put it together herself, with help of course since Tamara and Errol knew way more about RSOR than Kodi did. However, skimming the website had been refreshing.
Kodi wandered out of the kitchen and moved to her room, where her homework was stacked up and waiting for her. She let out a dramatic sigh as she approached it, before catching a glimse of Alison. Her homework could wait right?
”Hey Alison!! You doing homework?”
she asked with a grin. [/blockquote][/blockquote] ==================================== •• Tag • Alison Driscoll •• •• Words • 460 •• •• Outfit • CLICK •• •• Lyrics • "Anything but Ordinary" by Avril Lavigne •• •• Notes • Sorry its so short…. ••

Alison. however, had met both Errol and Tamara. Tamara she found that she could handle for the most part (it helped that Tamara was the sister of one of her good friends and her past brother's girlfriend, Lenita), but Errol...Errol was a trip. He'd already extracted 30 dollars out of her in exchange for information. Isa and Petra would be paying her back (which she felt somewhat guilty about - after all, it was she who agreed to pay the fee), but it was still annoying. As the freshman continued to work on her homework, she kept pondering what she was going to say to the other girl. Then again, Kodi might not be the first person to enter the room - It might be Camille. And while Camille struck Alison as suspicious on her own, she didn't really want to discuss RSOR in front of her. She already had a history of discussing it with Kodi, and it wouldn't be considered all that weird to bring it up again. Of course, she would leave out the part about being recruited. That was the last thing she needed - To be hounded by Errol, Tamara, and Kodi. And she had a feeling that Kodi would hound her about it too. After all, she heard of the way they harassed Orville about it (well, Errol and Tamara at least). The more she could avoid that the better. When Alison heard someone entering the dorm, she looked up at once and saw that it was indeed Kodi. She went to close her French book, but then decided that this might not be the best course of action to take at first. Instead, she would continue to work. She didn't want to look too eager, after all. So she continued to conjugate verbs, sending a nod Kodi's way as she headed toward the kitchen. Alison did look up completely when she heard Kodi's dramatic sigh. She couldn't help but smile a little. That was Kodi alright. She also had a feeling that she wouldn't be working on her homework for much longer either, but that was fine by her. She was almost finished with her work anyway. Well, at least her work in this class. Sure enough, Kodi addressed her first thing when she came into the bedroom area. Alison looked up from her work at once, still holding a pencil in her hand. "Yep, I am...French homework. I'm almost done. You?" Though she was tempted to just close the book and launch into conversation, she knew that might look suspicious. So instead, she kept her book open and conjugated a few more verbs, all the while waiting for a response from Kodi. Might as well get a few more problems done while she waited. to walk within the lines, would make my life so boring… KODI CHANDLER ==================================== Kodi was really the worst person to run into if you intended to do your homework. She was talkative and very distracting and it wasn’t like she did it intentionally. Now if she wanted to keep you from your work you were royally screwed and doomed to make up excuses for your teacher. Yet, the girl managed to maintain amazing grades that made no sense to the work load and effort she appeared to put forward. Truth was, Kodi spent a lot of time doing homework, but it was time away from other people. She hid her commitment to academics well but she also loved a good distraction.
So naturally, when Kodi realized that Alison was doing homework she pondered for a moment if she should leave the girl be or continue talking. But hearing the question that followed the information Kodi dropped all ideas of leaving and flopped down next to Alison. ”French? Really…? French is boring! At least you are almost done. I decided to go for a run…and it was a long run. Now I gotta figure out how to waste my afternoon…any ideas?”
she asked with a mischievous grin. Kodi felt she didn’t need to say she didn’t want to do homework. Most people could assume as much. If Kodi decided to talk it meant she didn’t want to do homework. And that by association meant homework wasn’t the plan this afternoon. To be honest, Kodi felt tempted to wander off and track down someone in RSOR, ‘accidentally’ bump into them and ask ‘innocent’ questions. No one needed to know it was an interrogation for it to be one…right? Though, She couldn’t mention it to Alison just yet. Or could she? Alison and her had discussed RSOR in the past…and Tamara had offered a golden opportunity to help figure out what all those RSOR members have to keep quiet about….why not one more person? No! She should talk to Tamara about it first and see if she was okay with it. Yeah…then maybe she could talk Alison into joining Anti-RSOR. Thinking about it, Kodi didn’t understand why it was called Anti-RSOR. They were not against RSOR per say but more like…curious about who was in the club and what RSOR was about. Kodi hadn’t considered the fact that Tamara and Errol may mean harm on the RSOR. Luckily Kodi wasn’t in RSOR so that meant she didn’t have to care—and this was the best way to get answers. Who cared if it caused problems for RSOR? They shouldn’t have kept secrets from everyone else…secrets were rude—or at least one this big and this in your face.[/blockquote][/blockquote] ==================================== •• Tag • Alison Driscoll •• •• Words • 442 •• •• Outfit • CLICK •• •• Lyrics • "Anything but Ordinary" by Avril Lavigne •• •• Notes • Sorry its so short…. ••

Alison knew Kodi well enough to know that she wouldn't be working on homework much after her roommate entered the room. Fortunately, it was easy homework. She was only in first year French, and she'd learned some French in her previous lifetime. She was always decent with languages. She wasn't even that particularly bothered when the other girl stated that French was boring. "Why do you think I'm trying to get it out of the way?" She stated with a chuckle, and an almost 'duh' sound in her voice. For all that Kodi was, Alison honestly didn't mind her. Perhaps if she'd entered RSOR earlier in the school year she might have found Kodi more of an annoyance, but she'd grown to like the girl in the time that passed. Any fleeting thoughts about confiding in Kodi about what RSOR really was were tossed aside as quickly as they entered, though. Kodi was fun, but Alison didn't really trust Kodi with the secret. She knew exactly how talkative Kodi was. She had a feeling that Kodi would be dying to share such an interesting tidbit with the rest of the school, and there was no way Alison was going to let that happen. She had other friends she needed to protect. Most importantly, she had her brothers to protect. They meant more to her than anything or anyone else, and the fact that they were in RSOR was really the deciding factor. She wasn't about to put them in danger. No sirree. Next came Kodi's question about how to spend the rest of her afternoon. Alison smiled and closed her French book. "I don't know, but that makes two of us who need to figure that out." There were plenty of options, of course, but Alison didn't really want to go out for a girls night just yet. Maybe later, but things needed to be discussed first. Alison just had to make sure she didn't do it in an obvious way...then again, what did it matter even if it did come off as obvious? Kodi had no way of knowing that Alison had in fact been accepted into RSOR (unless someone from RSOR told her, and limited numbers of RSOR members even knew she was a member). It would just seem like speculation, as normal, but with a twist - Alison was planning on doing a bit of name dropping. "Errol wants me to write an article for him. About RSOR, actually. Too bad we still haven't figured out what the deal is." There, a segway into the subject. She was almost positive that it would instantly capture Kodi's attention as well. It always had in the past. Did Alison feel guilty for leaving Kodi out of the vital information that she did in fact know what RSOR was now? Of course she did. But this was a dangerous game they were playing, far more dangerous than anyone in Anti-RSOR knew. This was one secret that could not get out. to walk within the lines, would make my life so boring… KODI CHANDLER ==================================== Kodi laughed in agreement to Alison’s response. Getting French homework out of the way sounded like a smart idea. It was a subject Kodi didn’t care for, but she was also not amazing with languages. She wasn’t awful but she certainly didn’t specialize in language. It’s a good thing she didn’t want a job that dealt with too many customers otherwise she’d be screwed. No, Kodi wanted a management job or some sort and in a decent business, perhaps as a police officer, detective or crime scene investigator. Eh, she would work it out later.
”I’d much rather learn a dead language, or how to speak elvish or something like that. It’s much more colourful. Maybe I will take up Klingon!” Kodi joked with a wide smile breaking across her face. Motivation came easy to Kodi when it wasn’t concerned with school. Just look at the effort she was putting forward for RSOR. That spoke for itself.
Kodi was also not the greatest at keeping secrets so what she knew about RSOR was pretty public. Or at least amongst people she spoke to. And that only included a smaller number. Tamara especially knew since Kodi was sure to post anything she worked out on the anti-RSOR website. That was a real work of genius and now Kodi found herself responsible for compacting and keeping a list of all the information on different RSOR members and who was a member. It was a fun job to say the least. It meant she was the first to see the complied information and through that Kodi hoped to be the first one to work out the secret.
Just as Kodi was about to suggest video games or something like that she caught herself and reconsidered. Perhaps more of a chilled night with none of that. Then again, causal gaming never hurt anyone right? Kodi wasn’t a huge gamer to begin with, but hey it was another distraction. She could pull out a board game…but to be honest Kodi’s attentions to a board game didn’t last long. She shrugged to herself, deciding no games. So then what were they to do?
Kodi perked up at the sound of Errol’s name leaving Alison’s lips. Any mention of Anti-RSOR, Tamara or Errol did that now. Oh and RSOR of course. But Kodi was all about figuring out the mystery now that she had gotten involved. And she had sort of dragged Alison into it too in a way. It was awesome having a roommate you could tell everything to. Kodi wasn’t sure she was ready to let their other roomie into it just yet. Kodi had no way of knowing if the girl was RSOR or not after all.
”An article? Whatever for?...and honestly, give it time and we will work it out. We already know who some of the members are and they have done some strange things that we have committed to memory. With time hopefully we can work out what the big secret is. I mean, hints are dropped all over. With all of us listening for them we are bound to hit on something eventually. I mean, I am making sure to go over everything over and over when I have new information to see if I can work anything out.”
Kodi mentioned with a wide grin. Kodi found her ramble was an easy answer. Then again, Alison was someone she trusted and boy could Kodi run her mouth when she was talking to someone she trusted. Alison was on her side and there was so much Kodi wanted to tell her. She was still waiting for the Okay from Tamara to share the Anti-RSOR website information with Alison. In fact, Kodi would have spilt it all by now if not for Tamara. Kodi looked up to the girl and that was something to say. Kodi didn’t look up to most people even the slightest. One thing was for sure, the girl did everything her way—well with the exception of school. School was something she did for her parents but one day would benefit her as well.[/blockquote][/blockquote] ==================================== •• Tag • Alison Driscoll •• •• Words • 686 •• •• Outfit • CLICK •• •• Lyrics • "Anything but Ordinary" by Avril Lavigne •• •• Notes • Weeeee! ••

Alison, on the other hand, didn't mind her French homework. She just figured it was best to get her homework out of the way straight away. That way, she could focus on other things if need be. She was a former teacher, after all. It was just in her nature to be responsible when it came to school assignments. She'd been on the other side of the equation, after all. "You know, they probably have lessons on elvish and Klingon at the college level." Alison noted with a grin. Colleges offered even more electives now than they had during her first time at college. Alison was still contemplating on what she wanted to do career-wise. She'd taught before, but did she want to do that again? She'd enjoyed it, but there also weren't too many jobs open for women during her first life. She'd gone from having just a few choices to having myriads, and she still wasn't quite sure what to do with it. Maybe she should ask others for advice? Not Kodi, though. She liked Kodi, but there were people who knew her better (and knew she was a reincarnate) who would have better answers. The freshman let out a laugh at the look that came across Kodi's face when she mentioned Errol. "What's that look for - been eying Errol from a distance?" Alison indicated in a teasing tone, a small grin on her face. She knew this wasn't the case, but she also wasn't supposed to know that Kodi was getting herself involved with Anti-RSOR just yet either. She only had the information because she'd been provided it by Petra and Isabella. Plus...well, honestly, the excited look that Kodi donned when Errol's name was mentioned was pretty funny. She stayed silent during Kodi's ramble. It was a lot to process. It was also incredibly tempting to ask what Kodi might have committed to memory that she 'might have missed', but not just yet. One thing Alison had to her advantage was that the Anti-RSOR thought she was looking for hints as well. In reality, her goal was to supply the group with hints that threw them off of the trail of RSOR. She had people she wanted to protect in there. Herself included, to be honest. When Kodi was finished, Alison started to answer. "I think he wants me to talk about RSOR, and how strange it is that they're keeping secrets. He said he didn't want me to go into too much detail, which I guess I can't blame him for. I think he just wants the rest of the school's attention." Which made sense, really. He was trying to recruit for his own organization, and thus he wanted to get the word out. There was strength in numbers, and as of right now, RSOR's numbers were a lot higher than Anti-RSOR's. Especially given that one of the new prospective members wasn't even truly Anti-RSOR. RSOR would naturally have the advantage no matter what, given the reincarnate status of everyone within the club. Still, the Anti-RSOR didn't know this, and, hopefully, never would. "So...what do you think should be mentioned?" Word count: 547 To: Jez-E/Kodi Notes: Teehee?

to walk within the lines, would make my life so boring… KODI CHANDLER ==================================== Kodi laughed at Alison’s response to her joke about Elvish or Klingon. It was something to consider to say the least but Kodi couldn’t see herself focusing on that. She would take courses pertaining to her actual major, whatever it ended up being. Though, the idea of speaking Klingon or Elvish was hysterical. Oh the ways she could screw with people with those linguistic skills in her arsenal. Kodi was still struggling with the idea of college or university because of her parent’s desire for her to be at the top. Who knew where she was going but at least Kodi knew it would be an amazing school. Her parents would make sure of that.
Hearing the next response from Alison, Kodi found herself laughing quite profusely. ”No! Not at all…it just…it’s Errol!”
she got out between laughs. Kodi couldn’t just openly tell Alison about her role in Anti-RSOR just yet. She was still under her two commanders, one of which was Errol. So she really needed permission to say too much. But that was also why she couldn’t explain her reaction to Errol’s name. So she had to flake it off, and to be honest, it was an easy feat for Kodi. She hadn’t really talked much with Errol after all. Kodi was oblivious to Alison’s true intentions which was kind of important. If Alison’s intentions were clear than Kodi wouldn’t be considering trying to get her in with Anti-RSOR. The only thing that made Kodi wary was that Alison might become important too fast and Kodi wanted to maintain an air of importance to the group. It wasn’t often she was included to openly in things. So…is this for a school paper or something? I mean, who is your audience exactly. And I bet you are right about his intentions. I mean, Errol has an obsession with RSOR and I think he just wants to know what’s up with it. And I can’t say I blame him. A high school club should be open to everyone, not keeping dirty secrets from the general population. It’s so…RUDE! And intriguing but still…its rude. “ Kodi responded. It was clear her interest in RSOR was stronger than it had been. Even Kodi was aware that her interest in RSOR had gone up of late. Tamara had that effect on her. Kodi snapped back up at the question of what Alison should mention. ”Mention? Well…to start explain what everyone knows about RSOR, the important members like Isabelle that everyone knows about for example. And the fact that they meet in the attic and well…you know the general stuff. Perhaps focus on how we don’t even know what RSOR stands for? And then also on the fact that none of them are willing to talk about the club? I mean, that in itself draws suspicion. And then suggest the idea of their having a secret. I mean, why else could a club be that secretive? Oh! And if you want a good source to pump some info from, Oliver is horrible under pressure. He has leaked so much to us by accident…not to mention his slip ups when we are not asking him twenty questions…” Kodi didn’t notice how she had slipped into the ‘we’ state of mind, regarding Anti-RSOR.[/blockquote][/blockquote] ==================================== •• Tag • Alison Driscoll •• •• Words • 547 •• •• Outfit • CLICK •• •• Lyrics • "Anything but Ordinary" by Avril Lavigne •• •• Notes • Weeeee! ••

Alison couldn't help but laugh as well. She hadn't been serious with her teasing in the first place, so to see that Kodi hadn't taken it very seriousl was almost a relief to Alison. After all, she didn't want to find out that Kodi had a crush on Errol or anything. That would just plain be awkward, especially when Alison had a love/hate relationship going on with the guy herself! "Well, you never know." She almost wanted to tell Kodi that if she wanted Errol that she'd have to step in line behind two junior girls, one of whom Kodi was getting rather close to, but Alison figured that might be dragging the joke out a bit too far. Besides, she was only joking to make small talk that lead up to the subject she really wanted to talk to Kodi about. Since Kodi was addressing that subject next...well, there wasn't really a need to drag out the whole Errol thing that much more. Although Kodi's reaction was highly amusing to watch. "I think we're doing posters, from what Errol told me." Unlike Kodi's 'we', Alison's 'we' was intentional. She wanted to show Kodi that she was in to some extent with the Anti-RSOR. While she was not a full-fledged member, and she knew this, Kodi didn't necessarily have to. She wanted to give off the impression that she considered herself to be lined up with the Anti-RSOR's mission without making it seem too obvious. As Kodi ranted, Alison could tell that Kodi had similar motives to Tamara. She didn't necessarily hate RSOR for what it was (being that she didn't even know what it was). Her animosity toward the group seemed to be focused primarily on the fact that she was left out of the whole thing. Alison couldn't help but feel for Kodi, honestly, and this comment made Alison wish that she could share the secret with her close friend and roommate. She couldn't, though, and she didn't know how she would ever provide an explanation to Kodi along those lines that wouldn't leave the other girl feeling betrayed and left out. And a betrayed and left out Kodi meant a Kodi that one did not want to mess with. "The so called leader's panel? That's a good idea..." She pulled a loose leaf piece of paper out of a binder and jotted that suggestion down on the top line. She also wrote out Kodi's other suggestions, pausing only briefly as Kodi mentioned Oliver as a source of information. Her grip momentarily tightened on her pen, though she hoped this was barely noticeable as she continued to write just a second after. Alison had to bite her tongue to prevent herself from stating that most of the information they'd retrieved from Oliver was gathered through unsavory methods in the first place, such as bullying and eavesdropping. Alison knew that she could not betray what she was truly doing, but if anything would be her downfall, it would be her highly protective feelings toward Wilbur and Orville. Deciding to ignore the comments about Oliver, fearful that she might slip up if the two of them stayed on that subject much longer, Alison decided to address something else that she'd noticed. "We? Have you been in touch with Errol and Tamara too?" Alison wore a grin on her face at this point, as if she and Kodi were about to share a huge secret with each other. It was all ironic, really, considering much of the animosity toward RSOR had to do with the secrets it kept in the first place... Word count: 629 To: Jez-E/Kodi Notes: None?

to walk within the lines, would make my life so boring… KODI CHANDLER ==================================== Kodi could be many things. She could be studious, serious and strict or fun, relaxed and procrastinate like no tomorrow. She flopped between the two and as a result she was sometimes also volatile. But if one thing was certain, Kodi usually knew the difference between one mood and the other. Right now, she was in procrastination mode. That was the Kodi who wanted to know all about RSOR. It was her dominant side lately, but it didn’t help that her serious and intelligent side wanted answers too. She was curious and that played into both worlds.
Naturally, that also meant that she was light hearted and friendly. Kodi could deal with anything, she just had to be in the right mood. So enjoying a good laugh with a friend was more than welcomed, even if it was at her expense. Errol was hardly Kodi’s bag of treats. She needed someone who was just as open as she was and just as dedicated to what he did as Kodi was to what she started doing. She was pretty open to guys right now though, and to be honest, Errol was a little too strange for Kodi to deal with him in big doses.
”Posters!!? That’s brilliant!! Awareness will gather more people and maybe we can start something. Something that tells RSOR that we are sick of secrets being kept from us…I mean, they are high school students. None of us have that much to hide!!”
Kodi added with a matter-of-fact tone. She loved the idea of posters. Of course, Kodi was too far from observant when she wasn’t tuned in to be. She could be observant with people when she intended to be, but with Alison it was all light hearted, as a result, she completely missed the ‘We’ that Alison had dished out. Of course, Kodi didn’t need to hear the ‘We’ to know Alison was aligned with Anti-RSOR. The posters alone had clued Kodi into the fact that Alison was clearly on their side. She was definitely talking to Tamara when she saw her next. Alison was brilliant and could be a huge asset. Kodi liked the idea of another friend to let in on the hunt for RSOR. And Alison was right nearby too, so it was perfect!! And being a freshman, she could go unnoticed amongst the RSOR as well. Anti-RSOR needed a steady flow of fresh people that way RSOR couldn’t hide—they wouldn’t know if someone they speak with was against them or just another student. Kodi made note to mention this to Tamara and Errol. Kodi’s lack of observation mode also meant that Alison’s grip on the pen went unnoticed, which was probably for the better. Kodi was known for asking too many questions. And that was part of why her current interrogations of different RSOR members was so genius. She just appeared interested, and her approach of “I want to join, tell me about it” had gotten her pretty far too. It was a handy tool! And Kodi’s lack of observation also made her skirt over the topic of Oliver. ”Well, I have talked to Tamara…” Kodi offered up. She had yet to meet Errol in a face to face meeting. Observing him from a far was easy enough though. So really, Kodi knew the guy enough, but not in a personal way. ”Tamara is just as intent as I am to find out the big secret, and she talks with Errol a lot. So he is in on it too. I heard that RSOR wanted him as a member for a bit but things went sour. So I can’t blame him for being curious. I really wonder what made them decide he wasn’t welcome….” Kodi pondered…[/blockquote][/blockquote] ==================================== •• Tag • Alison Driscoll •• •• Words • 625 •• •• Outfit • CLICK •• •• Lyrics • "Anything but Ordinary" by Avril Lavigne •• •• Notes • Weeeee! ••

Kodi was unintentionally making Alison's job a lot easier. With Tamara and especially Errol, Alison found that she had to ramp things up a bit. Errol was shrewd, and had been able to tell when things were a bit off in the conversation Alison had with him about the posters. In fact, he'd refused to go on any further until he had some answers when Alison made a slight slip up in her wording. Errol was the one she was most worried about out of the Anti-RSOR, and also the one that annoyed her the most in general when it came to his personality. He was her biggest challenge. "I'm pretty sure that's what Errol was thinking...and I agree." Which wasn't a lie. She did think that it was a good idea. She was simply determined that Anti-RSOR wouldn't get it's greasy hands on the motherload of information. Something that was made increasingly difficult by The Wizard's mere presence. Recruitment posters honestly weren't all that damaging to RSOR. Errol had already expressed the idea that he didn't want to go into too much detail on them, and only wanted to garner attention from the masses. She'd even thrown Errol a bone by mentioning a 'committee' that she overheard her brother talking about. A completely fictional committee, but a red herring that she hoped would offer Anti-RSOR a distraction from the true purpose of RSOR. As such, she decided to divulge her "findings" to Kodi as well. Knowing Kodi, she'd lap it up. Perhaps Alison should have mentioned it to her in the first place. "You know what I overheard my brother talking about?" She paused for effect, knowing that Kodi would probably do the same if she were sharing such a huge 'secret'. "He was talking about presenting something in front of a committee. And I don't think it was the leader's panel, or else he would have called them by name, wouldn't he? This sounds like something different." After this, Alison's face took on a contemplative look, which wasn't actually an act - It was just directed toward something else besides the contemplation of what this could mean. No, she was contemplating where to go next with this. Part of her did still feel bad for leading Kodi on like this. Unlike Errol (though she even felt bad sometimes when it came to him), Alison genuinely liked Kodi. The girl had spunk, and was generally a blast to talk to. Every time she caught herself feeling bad, though, she thought about what would happen if she told Kodi about what RSOR truly was, and that she was a member. She would like to be able to trust Kodi on that, but she knew she couldn't trust Kodi farther than she could throw the other girl. Considering Alison was 5'1" and rather scrawny...that wasn't very far. The Anti-RSOR would find out within moments, and within moments after that, the entire school. It would be nice if Kodi showed signs of being a reincarnate, but after sharing her dorm with Kodi for several months, and seeing her quite often...no signs jumped out. As Alison was the one in RSOR with probably the closest relations with Kodi...that likely meant she wasn't a reincarnate. Then again, the idea of Kodi as a reincarnate was a bit daunting. Would the girl be able to keep her mouth shut about the RSOR? Alison had her doubts... "I can't blame him for being curious either! Do you have any idea what his recruitment process was like? If we know what they're looking for maybe we can find a way to try to convince them that we're RSOR-worthy..." If Anti-RSOR did try this method, she'd alert Isabella and Petra, of course. This was more directed at Kodi anyway. Tamara and Errol likely knew that their chances of passing off as potential RSOR recruits were slim to none. Kodi, on the other hand... to walk within the lines, would make my life so boring… KODI CHANDLER ==================================== Kodi, being clueless to Alison’s intentions, was really being played like a fool by now. Anyone else and she might have suspected something but Alison was her close friend. So naturally she didn’t think anything of events as they were transpiring. She just saw a friend who was happy to help her work out the big secret she had been hoping to discover. And not only that, a friend who was just as interested in the end result. She didn’t know just how true that last part was, just not in the same direction she would have thought.
”It would raise our numbers. I mean, there are so few people trying to work out RSOR that some people may have critical information and we wouldn’t know it yet. Can you imagine? A whole chunk of the school population gunning for the RSOR secret. We might even be able to petition the teachers and the club’s secrecy for answers. I mean, this is a school and I am sure a lot of these kids have parents in pretty places…even if my own parents don’t have much of a pull.”
Kodi offered with a wide grin. She was getting excited about the prospect of a greater and more encompassing Anti-RSOR. It was something that could bring her closer to understanding just what went on in that attic. Kodi’s eyes lit up when Alison mentioned her brother’s talking about something. Kodi knew Nate Driscoll was a part of RSOR already, so naturally she was interested. She bent her head closer, knowing this was pretty much a secret. The pause for effect was certainly a nice touch but it was quickly forgotten. ”A committee? For what!? I mean, the leader’s panel runs things so who is the committee and what do they do!? They must have a purpose. And why does your brother have to do something for them?” Kodi smiled. ”A nice gem if we can work out what the Committee is.”. It was a bit sad that Kodi was eating it right up but she also had no reason to mistrust her friend. She had no idea that Alison was working against her. So naturally she was a friend and ally for the moment. Kodi sighed. ”You know, it wouldn’t bother me so much if it wasn’t for the fact that I feel like I am on the outs. I mean, what right does a club have to keep secrets from the whole school and be so selective in who joins as to make other people feel like they are not worthy of the group. It’s like they are all stuck up snobs who don’t want everyone to be able to have fun…It just sucks! I mean, why can’t I be in the club? What is it they don’t like about me that prevents me from being in the club?” Kodi gave Alison the do-you-know-what-I-mean look. It was really upsetting for Kodi to think she wasn’t allowed and after grilling Oliver about her getting into the club she felt even more like she would never be welcome in it. Thinking about Errol, Kodi felt he understood more than anyone the way Kodi felt about the RSOR. In fact, he surely felt a lot worse, having almost been recruited. ”Well…from what I do know…he was approached several times by RSOR members who spent some time with him. But other than that I am not entirely sure. All I know is they suddenly, and unexpectedly, backed off and decided he wasn’t right for their club. And I have already tried getting the RSOR to accept me, and Oliver said he’d talk to the leader’s panel. I have a feeling he never did. And I bet it was just his way of trying to shrug me off. I don’t really see them accepting any of us…especially now that we’ve been prying into their business.”[/blockquote][/blockquote] ==================================== •• Tag • Alison Driscoll •• •• Words • 649 •• •• Outfit • CLICK •• •• Lyrics • "Anything but Ordinary" by Avril Lavigne •• •• Notes • Weeeee! ••

Had Alison known Kodi's thoughts about her, Alison would have felt even more guilty, if that was possible. With Errol, she was actually enjoying herself to some extent. The guy needed to be knocked down a few notches, after all. Kodi, on the other hand, was one of Alison's closest friends at Riverdale High. In fact, while she considered Chi to be her best friend, Kodi was one of her best female friends. That said, Alison was a little surprised at how much Kodi had thought everything through. It was impressive, if she had to be honest. If she had this girl back when she was a teacher, she'd definitely make note of this strength and try to use it to her advantage to best teach Kodi. Alison was no longer a teacher, though, and was using this passionate quality of Kodi's to her advantage in another way. Alison smiled a little when she saw Kodi's reaction to her comments about The Committee. The freshman's mind was reeling, wondering if she should perhaps clue Nate in on what was going on. She didn't want him to be part of a ploy without his knowing, after all. ...this thought was quickly shot down by the fact that she was supposed to keep what she was doing a secret from everyone other than Isabella and Petra at this point. That frustrated her. Perhaps she'd ask Petra and Isabella if she could at least tell Oliver and Nate what was going on. She hated keeping this a secret from them more than she hated keeping it a secret from Kodi. Kodi was just a good friend of hers, who she'd bonded with after sharing a dorm with the other girl. She, Oliver, and Nate went back to another lifetime. She was finding it really hard to keep this a secret from them without letting it take a toll on her. Alison's smile faltered slightly as all these thoughts coursed through her head, but Kodi's closing comments brought Alison out of her thoughts and back to the subject at hand. "If we can find out what it is, that would work wonders for us." Which was, in all truth, not a lie. Alison just wasn't specifying who the 'us' in question was. Kodi would, with almost no doubt, assume that Alison was referring to the Anti-RSOR, when in truth it applied to RSOR. Kodi's next words were terrible. Oh how she wished she could tell Kodi that it had nothing to do with anything she did. She just couldn't know about RSOR's secrets. The stuck up snobs comment seemed to drive the point home that much more how little Kodi and the others in RSOR really knew. They had so many hints, yet they were so far away from the truth. Which was good for RSOR, at least. "I don't know. The key is finding a common factor that would bring all of those people together...and I don't think anyone's found that yet." A normal never would, which was why Alison had no qualms about saying this. Well, a normal never would unless they were outright told, or worked it out for themselves. However, Alison was trying to throw them off their search in another way with this comment - Looking for a common string in RSOR members with what the Anti-RSOR had would be leading them on a wild goose chase. "Have you tried talking to him about it since then?" It seemed like the right thing to say, plus Alison could even play this one to some extent. She could talk to Oliver and warn him that Kodi was coming, possibly even giving him lines to feed her. She knew that Oliver wasn't good under pressure. He hadn't been in his past life either. With a bit of practice, though, she might be able to prepare him to defend himself against the onslaught that was no doubt waiting for him. Or she could just tell him to hide out in his room when Kodi was on the prowl. That was an option she was considering as well. Whatever happened, she fully intended for Oliver to be prepared for this encounter. She just wished she could fill him in on everything that had been happening lately... to walk within the lines, would make my life so boring… KODI CHANDLER ==================================== Kodi had a close connection with Alison, which was always something she needed in any friend. Alison had to be Kodi’s best friend, though Tamara was getting close, but there relationship was more centered around anti-RSOR and who knew what would happen when they found out the RSOR secret. Tamara would no longer have anything in common with Kodi really and Kodi had been there many times before. Friends did that to her all the time, so she was wary of it. But Alison was someone Kodi really connected with and it wasn’t over some mission either.
Kodi knew how to follow the rules and she knew that all schools had rules and guidelines. If they could get enough people on board to total RSOR, then why not? Though, RSOR was quite large and getting students who cared enough to sign something to get the information seemed unlikely at the moment. That’s why Anti-RSOR really needed to raise the bar and get some more members. Who knew, maybe they’d have some new ideas to add to the pool.
Kodi should have noticed a change in Alison’s attitude after the girl made the committee comment but she was much too concerned with what she was thinking about the committee itself. If she hadn’t been she might have noticed the change in the other girl’s apparent mood, but then again, it didn’t last too long, and Alison certainly let Kodi’s guard down. So perhaps she wouldn’t have noticed after all. Though, when Alison spoke next Kodi perked up to listen. That last tid bit of information couldn’t be ignored.
”It totally could. It’s just a matter of what that committee is for. It could be something silly like a logo contest, or an entertainment committee to decide what they do in that attic each week. I mean, I have heard plenty of rumour that they play board games….So I really should get too hyped up about it. The big picture is still more important than the components but give it some time and maybe we can work out both.”
Kodi replied, regaining her head. She wasn’t so amazing academically without using her brain. Sure, her mouth did too much talking but she understood importance and she did know how to save a secret, though most would never guess as much. Kodi was much too in your face for anyone she knew to understand that side of her. Especially, since coming to Riverdale. It was true, she was excitable and talkative with those she was close with, but she had kept Anti-RSOR a secret hadn’t she? Or at least as close to one as she could considering her actions to try to get some information for them. What Kodi didn’t understand was even given the chance to put together all the hints, not in her wildest dreams could she imagine what RSOR really was. The concept would seem impossible to her logical mind, even if someone told her outright. So to be honest, Anti-RSOR had plenty of information they just lacked the ability to put it together. Given the chance in time, they still wouldn’t likely piece it together. ”Especially since many of them have nothing in common…Some of them don’t put an effort forward in school or sports, some of them lack and notable talents that could pull them into the club and almost all of them are so distinctly individual…I mean, even within the club it’s clear that not all of them clique outside the attic. So what is it that brings them together? It’s so frustrating!!” Kodi really hated the RSOR at this point and honestly, her opinions of them were going downhill. She could respect a personality in RSOR and be friends with someone and try not to grill them for information or be that person toward them. But she still hated the club as a whole. No one snubbed Kodi Chandler! NOBODY! ”Not really. I don’t get along the greatest with Errol just yet. I just don’t talk to him that much. I guess if I was more familiar I would ask more questions, but that seemed a bit personal to me.” Kodi offered with a shrug. ”I imagine the important stuff is what was asked of him…I mean, did they ever ask any questions. Those questions must be key to getting into RSOR…then again, that’s assuming questions were asked.” Kodi replied. She personally felt that area was a dead end of information, but truthfully it couldn’t hurt to find out. Kodi had actually hoped to be friends with Oliver when she first met him. He seemed friendly enough. But the problem was that Oliver had kept it a secret that he was in RSOR from her. He had flat out told her he wasn’t and then she had discovered otherwise. After lying to her like that she had confronted him about it and that hadn’t gone well either. So it seemed friendship wasn’t possible anymore. Though, Kodi had really liked his personality, she had been extremely upset that he had lied so blatantly to her. This school just didn’t allow for trust like she had in Alison. There was only the rare person that could be trusted and only Alison and Tamara had shown themselves to be completely worthy of Kodi’s trust. Alison had connected with Kodi too. Still did, really. It was terrible that their relationship was under such a strain and Kodi remained blissfully unaware. Alison felt as though she was being a terrible friend, really, and to some extent she was. She was keeping this huge thing a secret from one of the people closest to her. Unlike some of the others in RSOR, Alison had made a lot of friends outside of RSOR as well. She was a generally outgoing person overall, so it only made sense. What made it not so good was that she couldn't tell anyone about anything. Only Isa and Petra, and though she considered both to be decent friends, they weren't her closest friends by any means. Kodi and Chi couldn't know about her involvement with RSOR. Orville and Wilbur couldn't know what she was doing for RSOR, even though they were well aware that she was a member. She didn't even feel right voicing her frustrations to Isa and Petra, who'd asked this huge favor from her. She was just going to keep doing her job, but it would help if she could even talk to one person about it. Just one person. Alison couldn't help but let out a snort at Kodi's mention of board games. "Where did you hear that one from?" It sounded so utterly ridiculous! She hoped it was someone from RSOR's answer to get Kodi off of their back, and not someone from Anti-RSOR. If Tamara or Errol came up with that one...why was she even bothering with spying? She also hoped that Kodi hadn't taken that one seriously. The freshman frowned. That was one hugely problematic thing about RSOR and trying to shake Anti-RSOR's tail - Even those outside of RSOR recognized that there wasn't any noticeable common string between every member of RSOR. If someone possessed the ability to see souls for what they were, or happened to be an unwitting normal who witnessed the wax museum first hand, they might finally see that common string. But the true common string lay in their souls, a common string that Anti-RSOR would never lay their eyes on. So what could RSOR do to get Anti-RSOR to leave them alone? "I know it is. Just wish I could go to my brother and ask him, but every time I do he tries to avoid the subject." Which was true, up until a few months before. It wasn't a lie, it just wasn't a whole truth. It helped to soothe her conscience a little. Again, Alison did a damn good job of playing the frustrated part, more than likely owing to the fact that she was not playing. She was simply placing her frustration toward something else into what she was saying. One thing Alison could truly relate to Kodi on was the issue with Errol. "Yeah, he's like that with me too. He seems like a tough nut to crack, yet Tamara did it somehow. We also have to keep in mind that they're both juniors, so they've had a couple of years to work at it." She made a mental note to ask Wilbur how Errol and Tamara got along prior to this school year, if he even paid attention. Knowing him he was too preoccupied with other things, but it was worth a shot. "I think whatever he did to stand out is pretty important too, though. There has to be something that draws RSOR to certain people and not others." Alison knew full well what it was too. She pulled her legs up to her chest as she continued to sit on the bed, looking contemplative. So much to do, so little time. Word count: 644 To: Jez-E/Kodi Notes: Risk nights for the win. =P
