MARK AARON SIMMONS
"You know that chick that used to dance a lot
Every night she'd be on the floor shaking what she'd got
Man when I tell you she was cool, she was red hot"

Personal Style:
First and foremost, Mark likes to wear what is comfortable. He cares more about what people think about his clothes than he likes to let on, however. He'll try to stick with name brands simply for the name, and because he knows people will recognize it. However, he still likes to dress in a more casual attire. He's not a big fan of dressing up in a suit, in other words, and you might find it hard to get him into one.
Appearance:
Mark stands at about 5'8", a relatively average height for his age, though he hopes to grow taller (as he's seventeen, however, that's not as likely he wants it to be). He has a fairly average build, with some muscles from playing hockey, but not enough to come across as a big and bulky jock.
He can normally be found in comfortable clothes over fancy clothes. They are his preference, though if his father and mother are around he's a lot more likely to wear a suit and a tie, considering his father holds a position as a defense analyst, and is quite the fan of socializing with his coworkers. As such, the Simmons will often have guests in their home, and Mark will have to dress up. When left up to him, he can usually be found in jeans, a t-shirt, and tennis shoes.
HOPE AND HORROR
MIXED IN BLOOD
Likes: Sports, laughter, chicken wings, girls, hockey, skateboarding, chemistry, comfortable clothes, his father, that Chelsea knows what she wants and goes for it
Dislikes: Anyone messing with Jill or Will, falling on the ice, Justin Bieber (who Jill happens to love), overly smelly cologne, stuffy rooms, yogurt, math, toothaches, and humid weather (hot is fine, humid no)
Dreams: Well, he'd like to go on to play hockey professional, but if that doesn't happen...he'll go into chemistry.
Fears: Breaking bones (just the thought of doing it makes him wince...and no, he hasn't broken anything yet),Justin Bieber becoming Supreme Chancellor of the Earth, Spiders, Car accidents
Habits/Hobbies: Flirting, Hockey, Skateboarding, and listening to his iPod while practicing
Secret(s): It's his dream, but also a secret dream of his to do something for the field of chemistry. He actually loves the subject, but has a reputation as a slacker when it comes to all of his classes and doesn't want to admit that he's extremely interested in one of his classes. What would his friends think?
Personality:
Reckless - Mark has no problem doing things without thinking of the consequences. The testosterone's influence is strong in this one, probably not helped by the fact that it's his first go round on Earth either. He likes a good adrenaline rush here and there. He's on the school's hockey team, and he'll skateboard here and there, as well as snowboard when the time calls for it. He's also likely the type to feel as though he's invulnerable to danger, and even if he is nervous, bravado is usually displayed.
Flirt - A lot of his nature is to impress the girls, who he happens to like quite a bit. He's had a fair share of girlfriends, and while he isn't a player (having two sisters, one of whom is a gung ho feminine rights activist reincarnated, he wouldn't live it down if he was one), he certainly hasn't stuck with any one girl for very long either. Part of the fun is the chase with this guy, after all.
Denial - Whenever anything serious is wrong, Mark will try his best to ignore it, preferring to focus on other things, or try to come up with another reason for the issue if he can't push it out of his sight entirely It's his defense mechanism, and while it hasn't landed him into too much trouble yet, those around him think it's only a matter of time before he has to face the truth on some issues.

History:
Marcus Aaron Simmons was born on January 10, 1994. As the oldest in the Simmons family, Mark had a brief stint as an only child, but it did not last long. 15 months after Mark's birth, Mark was introduced to his first younger sister.
Chelsea Marie Simmons was born to Hank and Eileen Simmons one bright April day in 1995. From a young age, Chelsea wanted to tag along with her year older brother Mark. Anything Mark could do, she wanted to do. Mark did not particularly mind, though sometimes he would tease his sister that 'she was a girl, she couldn't do things like that'. Chelsea apparently took this on as a challenge, as typically Mark's words would be proven wrong and he'd possibly even find himself with a few bruises while Chelsea was placed in time out. Nevertheless, Mark enjoyed Chelsea's company, and Chelsea enjoyed his. There was teasing, and the teasing could get a little rough sometimes, but that's how siblings work.
Mark's childhood was fairly typical. He wasn't too particularly hard for his parents to take care of. While Chelsea would pipe up with all sorts of questions even from a young age, Mark was easygoing about the whole thing. He'd ask questions, but he didn't go as into depth as his little sister would. He was particularly close to his father, who he came to admire.
When Mark was 5 and Chelsea was 4, two more additions to the Simmons family were added, and the family was complete. Jill and Will Simmons entered the world in 1999, and while Chelsea did what she could to help out their mother, Mark was more concerned with the idea of two new playmates. He taught them how to play board games, which shows were cool to watch and which ones were for babies, and how to best get out of trouble with mom and dad.
Some time around middle school, Chelsea suddenly became a lot more vocal about her opinions. Mark will make all sorts of comments about how she's absolutely nuts and that she needs to calm down, he'll usually do it with a smile on his face. Truth is, he cares about all of his siblings and he actually came to admire his sister for standing up for what she felt was right. That didn't mean she was free from teasing, though, and this was his best way to show that he cared (though sometimes if she does get particularly crazy he will get annoyed).
Mark entered Riverdale High School, but it was nothing too particularly special to him. He met some good friends, but for the most part it was just school as usual. Mark never did the best in his classes, always more interested in sports (specifically the hockey time) and spending time with his friends. RSOR was always a vague curiosity at the back of his mind, which gained a little more interest when his sister Chelsea was accepted into the club, but it doesn't really impact him too much, unlike some others in the school. He just assumes it's some academic club that his sister made, and sticks with that explanation.
