Personal Style: The way Maddie usually describes her personal style is “whatever is cute, and in style.” Coming from a pretty wealthy family, Maddie can afford to buy and wear the hottest fashions, and the name brands. When she's at school, she'll usually wear jeans or shorts, with a “cute and stylish top.” Out around town with her friends, though, it wouldn't be uncommon to see her wearing a skirt. She owns a lot of shoes, and won't wear the same pair two days in a row. Maddie is very, very rarely seen without makeup on. She has a reputation to uphold, after all.
Appearance: A good way to describe Maddie is “tiny and cute.” She's not overly short for her age, but she is shorter than most people she knows. She is a dancer, so she has somewhat of a natural grace about her, even when she's just walking. Maddie holds herself differently than most girls, and this is what makes her stand out. She doesn't tan, but is naturally darker complected than most of the girls in Riverdale. Her eyes are a very dark blue – almost black, and she wears enough eye makeup to make them stand out more.
Maddie is pretty thin, but she doesn't look sick. She looks healthy. As she does a lot of dancing, she has well defined muscles, but they aren't bulging or super obvious. Her hair is a dark brown, and she usually wears it long and straight. She loves to do different things with her hair, though. For a while she had it cut really short, and if she isn't feeling lazy in the morning, she'll curl it occasionally. Every once in a while she'll wear it up, but she is really proud of her hair, and likes to show it off.
HOPE AND HORROR
MIXED IN BLOOD
Likes: dancing, modeling, talking, parties, early mornings, late nights, coffee, musicals, hanging out with friends, shopping
Dislikes: loud music, sleeping, missing out anything, gossip, hot weather, rainy days, school (except history), watching movies, fire, people who yell
Dreams: She wants to be queen bee – the best of the best.
Fears: getting lost in a crowd of people, being abandoned, clowns (long story)
Habits/Hobbies: randomly singing to herself, dancing, taking pictures of herself, knitting
Secret(s): not needed, but at least one would be nice **if a reincarnate, DO NOT put the fact they're reincarnated as a secret (that goes without question) unless they try to hide who they were when among reincarnates.
Personality: ARROGANT: madelyn has grown up with the best of everything, so it stands to reason that she thinks she is the best. she knows she is good at what she does, and she's not going to hide it. she hates fake people, so she refuses to pretend that she isn't good at something that she knows she is, just so people will think better of her. call it arrogance if you want, she just calls it being real.
SARCASTIC: maddie doesn't deal with situations like everyone else does. if she feels something is getting out of hand, or out of her control, she brings it back with a sharp, sarcastic remark. her comments can hurt – they almost always do. she's quick, but she can also be mean. she knows just where to hit to make it hurt the most.
COMPETITIVE: she hates to lose, plain and simple. she'll do whatever she has to to win. she isn't a cheater, although she has been accused of it, but most wouldn't put it past her. madelyn is a very sore loser. her excuses for why she lost are well known, and she knows that she is sometimes mocked for it. as long as she never hears it, it won't be a problem.
INSECURE: madelyn's parents were always busy when she was growing up, so, although she knew they loved her, she always wondered if she was good enough for them. she always thought that maybe the reason they worked so much was because they didn't want to be around her. she hides her insecurity well, but its there. all these feelings carried over once she came to school, which is part of the reason she tries to work so hard at being popular.
CONFRONTATIONAL: maddie isn't the kind of girl who will just let someone get away with starting stuff. anytime she hears a rumor about herself, or someone she cares about, she will find the person who started it, and call them out. she isn't afraid to make a scene. all she wants to do is to let them know that she is in charge, and they need to recognize that.
madelyn has a big personality. you always know when she's around, because she'll make sure you know it. she likes to be the center of attention, likes all eyes to be on her.
PRETTY BOY, PRETTY GIRL

Mother: Stacey Fawcett, 47, nurse
Father: Nick Fawcett, 50, surgeon
Siblings: Leila Fawcett, 12 and Anthony Fawcett, 18
Other: none
Pets: Two Puggle puppies – Odysseus and Aphrodite – and a 4 year old Chihuahua named Cerebus (all at home with her family)
Hometown: Riverdale, North Carolina, USA
History: Madelyn Annette Fawcett was born on Halloween night in 1993, at 11:59 at night. She was born in Riverdale, North Carolina and has lived there ever since. She has an older brother – Anthony – who is a year older than her, and a younger sister – Leila – who is twelve. There were some complications with her birth, and she had to spend the first three months of her life in the hospital. Now, her family likes to joke that Maddie just likes to make a spectacular entrance, but for a while, they weren't sure she was actually going to make it. The only sign of that now is sometimes she'll get really bad migraines, but the doctors aren't sure if this has anything to do with the problems she had when she was born.
Both of her parents work a lot. Her mother is a nurse, and her father is a surgeon. Growing up, she was never deprived of anything she needed or wanted – except attention from her parents. They never purposely ignored her, but they were always busy with work, so most of the time Maddie and her brother would take care of their sister. This caused her to grown up somewhat closed off to everyone. She never let herself get close to anyone. If she didn't care about anyone, they couldn't hurt her, right?
The first time she could remember hearing about Riverdale, she was nine years old, and she knew immediately she wanted to go there when she was old enough. After she made up her mind, the decision was made. She would attend Riverdale when she turned fourteen, and that's exactly what happened. She decided she wanted to live at the school rather than at home to get the full experience of boarding school. It was right after she arrived that she started having the flashbacks.
She felt like royalty, which at first didn't seem strange to her. It wasn't long after that that she realized she was dreaming in a language she had never learned before. After some research, she realized it was Russian, and she started to think something was strange. After a particularly vivid dream involving her and three other girls that she just knew were her sisters, and a history class in which they were studying important Russian history, she started to put two and two together. She was the Grand Duchess Anastasia. It made perfect sense, although she knew she couldn't tell anyone. She didn't want anyone to think she was crazy, after all.
She didn't join the RSOR until her sophomore year. One of her roommates figured out what was going on with Maddie, and introduced her to the group. It was the first time Maddie actually felt like she was welcome somewhere. It was there that she met her boyfriend who she has been dating for the past year. She was finally allowing herself to become closer to people.

It was true that Isa had been raised as a proper pure-blood girl. From the time she was young she had been taught the best way to walk, talk, eat, think, and behave. Somewhere along the way, however, she missed a lesson. So along with all the traits the daughter of a traditional pure-blood family usually possesses, Isa also learned the ability to think for herself. While she did agree with most of the pure-blood ideals she had been taught, there were a few that she just didn't see the point of. The main one being the archaic practice of arranged marriages, but that wasn't really the point. There were very few people who knew her actual thoughts on many subjects, and if there was one thing she hated, it was the judgmental, self-righteous people who thought that they knew who she was, based on the front she presented to the world. Usually the opinions others had of her were actually close to being spot on, she knew. Every once in a while, though, her thoughts would surprise people if they cared enough to listen. Not that she would ever actually tell anyone other than her closest friends what she really thought. Someone with far less intelligence than Isabel possessed would be able to tell that Fawcett was one of those incredibly self-righteous people that Isa hated.
The Ravenclaw girl hated Isa on principle, not that the feeling wasn't mutual, and so it gave Isa some satisfaction that she seemed to be getting under Fawcett's skin. ”You call it provocation, I call it a somewhat lacking form of entertainment. You gave in far too easily.” Fawcett's holier-than-thou attitude didn't sit well with Isa. She wasn't going to pretend she didn't know she was far superior to the Ravenclaw girl. Isa knew her place in society. Her family was a highly respected name, and even though Isa wasn't the most perfect pure-blood (not that she'd ever admit that out loud – how disgraceful would that be?) the Greengrass name still carried a lot of weight. Not as much as say the Blacks or the Malfoys, but enough that Isabel had a fair amount of self-confidence.
It was because of this self-confidence that the opinion of the half-blood girl sitting in front her meant nothing in her mind. Isabel wasn't so egotistical to say that Fawcett's insults were the result of jealousy. She knew better, after all. The girl was misguided enough to believe she was actually superior to Isa. Which obviously wasn't the case. Even her insults were losing what little bite they had previously held. ”If you have to explain your insults, that's usually a good hint that they're ineffective.” The look on her face hinted amusement, but her eyes were as cold as ever. ”It was a good try, though.” She knew her tone was condescending, which was exactly what she was going for. If the Ravenclaw wanted to talk to her as if she were a child, Isabel would treat her like a child. Isabel hated being treated like a child. Every single time someone felt the need to take that infuriating condescending tone with her, she almost lost it. Isabel was almost of age, and it was insulting for anyone to treat her like a child. She wasn't going to listen to it anymore, and especially not from the girl sitting in front of her.
”I think I have a fairly good idea,” Isa answered flatly, ”seeing as I'm currently dealing with you.” She paused to give her insult an opportunity to sink in before continuing. ”You don't see me ranting and raving and shooting off empty threats like a lunatic, though, now do you?” It was yet another thing Isabel would never admit, but she envied the other girl somewhat. Oh how she wished she could simply go off on anyone who pissed her off. Isabel's temper was volatile, there was no doubt about that, but she had to keep up appearances. If she were to suddenly start threatening another student, her family would hear about it in as long as it took an owl to reach their home. She knew she had to keep a very careful control over her anger, because if she embarrassed her parents in any way, she would never hear the end of it.
The more Fawcett said, however, the quicker her control was slipping. ”At least I'm not going to be an embarrassment to my husband in public,” Isabel hissed angrily. ”The poor soul who marries you is going to have his hands full. I hope you enjoy your life of being locked at home, because no self-respecting wizard will want to be seen in public with someone who is likely to explode at any second.” Isa wasn't even sure where the words were coming from. She wasn't thinking, only ranting. Her carefully placed control had shattered, and in its place was a torrent of biting insults. Without knowing it, Fawcett had hit a nerve, one that had been bugging Isa for some time now. ”That is if you even are married. Perhaps its lucky you're not a pure-blood, because no family would allow you to marry their son. The only thing saving you is your blood status, not that that is something worth being proud of at all.” She knew she should stop talking, but the words seemed to be pouring out of her mouth on their own volition, and all she could do was sit back and watch the after effects.- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
