This plot involves: --- --- Freefellow (junior) & --- --- Dawson (sophomore)
Dawson's mother works as a maid in the Freefellow household. Ever since Dawson was small, he remembers being graciously allowed to tag along with mummie while she works, sitting very carefully and still on the exquisite sofas and hardwood floors. When he was four, he met the then six-year-old Freefellow.
Back then, they got along somewhat. Freefellow was still a spoiled little boy and Dawson was a strange child, but they did play airplanes and run through the sprinkler system and sometimes he'd even get to have some ice cream if Freefellow asked if Dawson could have any. If they ever met anywhere else, they both magically were strangers. Class differences meant a lot when one was lower and one was near the top, after all. If you were on the top.
Eventually, Dawson was old enough to stop accompanying his mother, and by then, he felt more like a pet of Freefellow 's then a friend. They didn't speak again, even though Dawson's mother still works where she does.
That is, until Dawson's wit got him a spot in Riverdale, instead of the run-down, small high school downtown. There, they met again. In different grades, yes, but they met again. Freefellow saw an opportunity to better his reputation, and often spoke of how he 'took care of' the poor boy Dawson. Dawson finally got sick of hearing that, and decided to set Freefellow straight about things...bad idea.
One black eye later, and a threat of his mother losing her job, Freefellow has taken to inviting Dawson to his posh little parties to show off how gracious he is, leaving Dawson stuck.
The trouble is, karma always comes back - moreso when the classy lack any class at all, and Dawson can't take much more...
