And now you wish that you meant something
And now you wish that you meant something to somebody else
Sky noticed that Lex sighed and shook his head. Well, there was nothing he could do about that. Both of them were pretty stubborn at times so he doubted one would get the other to change his mind. Just how they clashed a bit. It worked though seeing as it helped have contrasting ideas around the panel. What didn't help though was the fact that most of them had pretty bad tempers. Whoever thought that would be a good idea has an interesting sense of humor. Ah well, it would work out sometimes, and other times it would just not work at all. Which usually left them in a heated argument that was in a few languages. Which meant that caused quite a few confusions being that not all of them spoke all those languages. Like Sky reverted to French a lot because he spoke it in this life, which he could argue with Chaz and Isa, but nobody else understood it, and hell his dialect was different from theirs so it wasn't entirely understood all the time then even. Ah well there was nothing that could be done about that now. Just had to deal with it and hope it just worked out sometimes. Or somehow separate them to keep the fights from getting too bad. Usually they didn't end up violent, but they could easily being that most of the leader's panel also had past war experience and such. Skylar didn't, and so he would have to back out of that fight, but it didn't mean he wouldn't end up hit for something he said as a reflex. Hearing Lex made him snap out of his thoughts. "No it's fine. You're not the first to poke it. Quite a few people have actually. Hell I got tacked twice." he said with a sigh. Those were considerably more painful than a fake punch. Sure falling down the stairs added quite a bit of pain, but hey it wasn't from the punch technically. It was from the stairs, sure maybe the punch caused that, but that was looking into it too much and he definitely didn't feel like doing that while he was bleeding all over the floor. Which, he was pretty sure someone would be questioning that later. Ah well, he could just pretend it wasn't him by keeping his arms covered and just pretend he fell off his bunk to mess up his ankle.
So yeah, the fact that he hadn't noticed the cuts on his elbow definitely showed that he had some damage. Either that or he was in some serious shock and definitely should go to a hospital. Anyway, he wasn't going to worry about his possible nerve damage right now. Seeing as that was just a distraction from the issue at hand. Which would definitely be the fact that he was bleeding and Lex had a broken rib. Which, he definitely didn't think anything was broken, but he doubted the hospital would simply take his word for it. They knew he was pretty accident prone and would want to make sure he wasn't just brushing it off as nothing. Which, he had done it before. Seeing as he did it just to avoid x-rays. Most of the time they literally had to hold him down. Which made him look really immature, but he was terrified of x-rays. His one friend had died from it and he hadn't willingly gone near them since. He didn't care how supposedly safe they were, he knew someone that died from it and it was while he was messing with them. Like hell he would go without a fight. He looked at the younger boy when he heard his name. Hearing the statement he sighed. Just him being in the room wouldn't help. "Last time I had to get an x-ray they had to literally hold me down." he admitted blushing a bit at that fact. He kept trying to run away and he had definitely been glad that nobody he knew was there at the time. Though his mother certainly yelled at him for having such a stupid fear. Wasn't his fault he was reincarnated and the fear stayed. Besides, he thought his fear was perfectly logical. Then, of course, there was the issue of his burn bleeding. Which would need looked at and he would probably do something about it before they went to the hospital and pretend it wasn't there even when he got there. Just say it was a simple first degree burn nothing else he was just keeping it wrapped so his clothes didn't irritate it. If he could get away with that then he wouldn't have to explain the small computer fire to his parents. Which would definitely be awesome. Now, how to go about that was the major question. Maybe if he just had a t-shirt on they wouldn't notice it. If he put on a long sleeve one it would definitely be noticed. Especially being that he would have to take off his shirt for the stitches, and thus that would just be idiotic.
Once he stood up he was definitely not steady. Which was probably why Lex had reached over and grabbed his waist. Sure it hurt a bit, but he was more embarassed by it honestly. He heard Lex say that it was okay and he sighed slightly. Then he said something else and blinked a few times confused. Moments later he was scooped up into Lex's arms. "You s-sure you can carry me?" he asked blushing more now that he was picked up by Lex. Then he was told to put his arm around Lex's neck and obeyed seeing as he had no other choice really. Not like he could really walk honestly. "I will do my best. You remember which room is mine right?" he asked just to make sure. Seemed that Lex was fine with carrying him though even through some pain. Sky just tried to focus on keeping himself from looking at Lex too much. Though he couldn't keep his hair from brushing against Lex's cheek, and hell he didn't realize he was doing it. So he couldn't stop it either being that unless Lex complained, which was doubtful, he wouldn't be stopping. "I'll drive us to the hospital once we're slightly bandaged up." he sighed with a slight smile at Lex. Hey, he was trying to not be a complete burden at least. So thus he would drive rather then Lex carrying him the entire way there. Seeing as he was pretty sure that was not going to be good for a mostly broken rib.
