This plot involves: --- --- Williams (teacher) --- --- Plunkett (teacher) --- --- Anenoe (teacher) --- --- Bareen (teacher) & Ethel Emma Hanston (teacher/principal)
There's always been some chemistry between Mr. Plunkett and Miss. Williams, everyone with eyes could see that, but it never really amounted to much. That is, until Plunkett finally plucks up the courage to ask her out secretly. She agrees, and they keep things hush-hush for a couple months, letting no one know anything. And no one has suspicions, either. Maybe a student here or there but nothing that got far in the rumour mill.
That was, until Mr. Plunkett decides to break RSOR code - after all, it technically no longer applies. He plans on this becoming a serious relationship, and figures Williams ought to know, that he is a reincarnate. She sits through him explaining that he always knew he was different, that he always had memories that weren't his - specifically, memories that should have belonged to William Shakespeare. He keeps RSOR out of it as he explains that he is, in effect, William Shakespeare. Williams laughs it off, telling him "it would make a marvellous idea for a play!". He decides to try again later, not knowing that Williams had very much taken the thought to heart. While she thinks it through, someone who overheard tells her co-worker about it.
Anenoe overheard the conversation, and immediately heads to Bareen. For some reason, the two teachers get along quite well. Now, Mr. Bareen already has some issues on his hands ((see canon plot "Teachers & Geniuses")), but he quickly puts together this tale into RSOR. After looking it up on the sly, he finds out that Plunkett was a member of RSOR, and begins to wonder if Plunkett isn't the only one.
He goes to Principal Hanston, not knowing that she is also a reincarnate - and a reincarnate that actually knew Plunkett's past life, at that! - and explains his thoughts. Furious, she summons all the involved teachers to her office. She explains to them that "RSOR is an organization for those who need some help, I help run it and this is all codswallop!", and forbids anyone to ever speak of it again, for the students, and careers sake.
She dismisses all but Plunkett and Williams. There, she explains to Williams that what Plunkett said is true, and that he is by no means the only one like this in the staff or students. She also adds that Plunkett need never have said all that. She has lived her whole life without telling the truth to other reincarnates, and explains to Williams that she too, is one of them.
The next day, Williams brushes off Plunkett, stating she needs to think about this, that she's not even sure if she'll go on teaching at Riverdale. Will she stay? Will their office romance die or continue, albeit in a new light? While Anenoe shuts up and forgets the incident as a prank, Bareen isn't so sure....will he be quiet?
