Personal Style: The first thing one could think upon first seeing Drizzle is that a rainbow got sick on her. She likes bright, vibrant colors and fun patterns, and she designs her own style: Drizzle will usually wear corsets and skirts or otherwise tight jeans or shorts, along with converse shoes. Also, she likes fishnet, and a lot. She also wears several beaded bracelets and necklaces made with ribbons, beads and seeds; her favorite being the large heart-shaped locket that her mother gave her for her birthday. She also wears ribbons on her hair and crazy hair bands. She usually wears the aforementioned clothes unless she has to be onstage, where she'll switch immediately to old jeans, leather and jean jackets, t-shirts and boots.
Appearance: Drizzle could be considered cute once you get all the brightness of her clothes off your eyes. She's got a medium toned skin and very soft features that make her appear a little younger than she is. She has long, dark brown hair and a dyed blonde streak on her side swept bangs. Her hair is very wavy, to the point of almost appearing curly; and she has thin eyebrows and thick eyelashes.
Drizzle might sometimes appear significantly taller than she really is, especially when she wears boots. She refuses to cut off hear hair or to get rid of her second piercings on her ears; she likes them very much. She has bright hazel eyes that people have described as 'honest', but the truth is she doesn't quite know what they mean with that.
HOPE AND HORROR

Likes: Music, her acoustic guitar, singing, hanging out with her friends, saying what she thinks, oldies music, the rain, teasing her friends, playing with her cousins, children.
Dislikes: Being onstage, mean people, backstabbers, anything involving drugs of any type, cold weather, sarcasm(though she can use it very well), being lied to, being nervous, having nothing to do.
Dreams: Graduating, possibly having a musical career, having her own family.
Fears: Dying young, being onstage, losing somene dear to her.
Habits/Hobbies: Bites her fingernails, paces up and down when she's nervous, randomly snapping at people in italian when she's angry, speaking the truth outloud.
Secret(s): She tries her hardest not to show her stage panic, but she's horrible at not showing it!
Personality: It is hard to tell this kid is Janis Joplin. While she remains rebellious, non-conformist and outspoken, she's also very cheerful and bright, most usually around her friends and family. She's positive and hopeful, and she's one to always greet everyone, even random strangers, with a smile and a 'have a nice day'.
When dealing with someone she dislikes, though, she'll switch to her more outspoken side and spit out everything she thinks in front of everyone. She has her morals clear and telling what she thinks outloud isn't wrong, at least in her book. She will sometimes snap everything she thinks in Italian, and leave her words for her listeners' interpretation. Her rebelliousside shows more when she finds something that she considers unfair, and she tries her hardest to go against it.
Ironically, in this life Janis suffers a horrible stage fright. She tries to hide it from everyone, but is horrible at it. The stage panic stems from her previous life and her fear of not reaching the expectations put on her, or not to please herself, but that's just not it: she's scared especially of putting too much pressure on herself and falling into the same mistakes she committed so many years ago; and being onstage reminds her of all she put herself through. She most normally pulls through by focusing on the lights to avoid seeing the audience, and thus make it easier to pretend that she's alone, and also by convincing herself that she's not going to fall again; and that she had already learned her lesson. She has a great voice, and once she gets off all the nervousness she does very good onstage. She's madly in love with music and has even described life as 'being like a song'. She adores her guitar and she feels more comfortable with herself when singing or playing her guitar.

History: Drizzle was born in New York, to an Italian-American father and an Argentine mother. She had a very unusual life at home: her mother was an ex-hippie who loved all forms of art and who taught her that she should always look at the bright side of things, which probably gave her her optimistic outlook on life. Drizzle was very close to her mother, while her relationship with her father was very rough; he wanted his child to be rational and intelligent rather than just 'all peace and love' as he put it. Drizzle was never too sure of who of them she should listen to.
The parents argued over everything; there was a great division in the house thanks to their different ideologies -Sol's positive outlook and Martin's more cold, logical approach- but Drizzle never believed that that was the only reason that they argued about. She found her stress reliever in music, all thanks to her aunt Clara who came to visit twice a month and taught her to play the guitar. In fact, the first memories that Drizzle has of being Janis Joplin came to her onstage.
At the age of eight, Drizzle was able to pick up a guitar and play it like a professional thanks to her mother's lessons, and the first time she really put her talent to a test was during a talent show. Drizzle picked up her guitar and started to play, but froze in the middle of the song. She knew that there was a reason that she had frozen all so suddenly, but couldn't tell what it was, and then a flashback came to her--one of a concert she'd never been at. That was more than enough to snap her out of her daze and she burst into song, this time in acapella and with a song she had never heard in this life, 'Mercedes Benz'.
Once she got off the stage and received her blue ribbon and shiny gold trophy, Drizzle was questioned about how she knew the song, and she explained that she just did. The next months would be the most terrifying of her life, as the memories of concerts she'd never been to, blues songs, the effect of an unknown drug, and overall, a sudden death kept tormenting her. Her stress only got worse when, a year and a half later, her mother discovered that her father had cheated on her, and divorced him, much to Drizzle's dismay.
Wanting a change of space, Sol took her daughter with her to Raleigh so that she could be closer to her aunt, uncle and cousin and get her mind off the divorce. It was here that the whole reincarnation business really occured to her for the first time. One night, she came back from visiting one of her new friends to find the family listening to a Janis Joplin record. She was surprised to find herself singing along to all the songs, and that very same night, after much pondering, she came to the conclusion that she was in fact Janis Joplin. She remembered not being able to spell her middle name correctly and all of the flashbacks, which she now knew, were actual memories.
Drizzle did a little research on her old self and when she discovered that she had died at the age of 27 thanks to a possible drug overdose, she panicked and promised to herself that she wouldn't commit the same mistakes as she did in her previous life. She soon changed her style to the bright, colorful clothes she wears today, stating that she 'liked to be different' and didn't care about what other people said. The other reason that she did such a drastic change to her style was to avoid being too much like her older self, and thus raise suspicions. Her family was quite confused by her sudden change, but thought that it was pretty much just a phase and it would pass. When it didn't, and her family tried to talk her into 'not drawing so much attention', Drizzle grew mad enough to snap that 'They were just acting like her family did back then!' much to her mother's dismay. Thanks to said outburst, Drizzle had to tell her mother the truth, and though shocked at first, Sol decided that Drizzle could be speaking the truth and believed her.
A few more years passed before she was sent to study at Riverdale and was recruited into the RSOR a few months after her arrival. She is now a sophomore at the school.

Xia was so preoccupied with staring at the town that she barely heard Daxovan's question, but when she managed to process it she let a frown appear on her face. A slight, sad frown that made her look like a scolded puppy. She looked down at the town below, and placed a finger to her lower lip in thought, and sank into silence.
She had never been quite sure about emotions or anything. But she knew that sometimes she could feel something deep within snapping at the slightest provocation, like Alex's previous threatening had done, she could sometimes feel something warm inside her when the situation called to it, like the discovery that Kyon was alive had, despite the initial shock. She was nearly completely sure that those things...those things were the remains of feelings that might or might not be still there, lurking deep within the empty hole where her heart should be.
As for any of the other things... Xia had never been quite too sure about her missions, she found that they were pretty much a routine. They kept her busy, and for a while they had distracted her from the strange sensation of emptyness that sometimes haunted her. At some point it had stopped working and made her life seem empty, plain, like a neverending dark void that refused to disappear at all, eventually that had led her to nearly killing herself just a few days ago...had it really been just a few days ago? She didn't know, to her it was almost as though she hadn't lived through those long, dark weeks, it was as though she had gone through a neverending dark corridor and suddenly found herself on the other side, without a clue of how she had made it there.
This was the first time Xia ever realized she didn't really think much. Her life was pretty much based on survival, on not fading into the darkness yet again. Apparently there was much more to it than she'd really thought, and she had just come to understand that.
"I don't know..."she mumbled, a light pout appearing on her face. "I mean...I have never found myself at home, anywhere, and I haven't really thought a lot about missions...but I guess..."she stared off into the sunset, her face not showing any emotion. "I guess that if we are capable of reminiscing of such things...if we can find ourselves at ease around others and gain new friends...then we can't be that empty, right?"she asked, feeling a little silly. She wasn't too used to asking deep questions, truth be told, she never did.
There was always a first time for everything, she guessed. Maybe it was about time that she started showing her deepest thoughts to people, especially to her new best friend. She wasn’t used to feel that someone cared enough to listen to what she had to say, and the feel of it… it was nice, for someone who literally had no heart. The sensation surprised her, and a lot.- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
