AIDEN ALEXANDER HARPER
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

Eye Color: Brown
Hair Color: Blonde
Build: Average
Scars: A few on his knees(see appearace)
Piercings/Tattoos: N/A
Personal Style: Aiden doesn't really care much about his style, but it could be described as 'skater'. He wears slightly baggy jeans and hoodies, sweaters, and anything similar. He favors grey, red, black and blue. He also likes old sneakers, and he especially loves wearing a pair of old black converse he has had for a few years now and that fit him a little big. He also has a pocket watch that's always in his pocket and linked to his belt.
Appearance: Small and slightly skinny, also very pale for someone who spends as much time outdoors as he does. Aiden doesn't care about looks, but he is very self-conscious about his height, which he's always teased about. He likes keeping his blonde hair a little bit longish and keeps his bangs swept to the side. He has slightly thick eyebrows that are one or two tones lighter than his hair.
Aiden has a couple scars across his knees from his many falling off trees. This scares are not very visible unless he wears shorts. He doesn't tan at all, despite the fact that he comes from Florida and spends most of his time outside walking around. Most of the times he will be seen walking outside or writing something, unless it rains.
HOPE AND HORROR
MIXED IN BLOOD
Likes: Reading, writing, mythology, pun jokes, inside jokes, the sunny weather, inventing stuff, writing letters/emails, the weekends.
Dislikes: Obsessive fans, stereotypes, stupid people, guys(or girls), who think the world spins around them, being bored, writer's block, getting sick, mathematics, the rain, thunder.
Dreams: Becoming a writer -again- on a different genre.
Fears: Dying, losing a loved one, getting sick.
Habits/Hobbies: Bites his fingernails a lot, quick to anger, quick to use sarcasm.
Secret(s): He doesn't like telling that he's Tolkien's reincarnate to avoid fans.
Personality: Aiden is a little bit quiet and serious around people, especially if he doesn't know them well. When he is around friends, however, he opens up a little bit more and shows his more carefree side. He is by nature a cheerful, optimistic boy who just keeps a lot to himself. He is a little bit quick to anger, though, especially around people he dislikes. This has actually earned him the nickname 'hothead' from his family and friends, and he dislikes it, despite he is aware that he has a really, really short temper.
He is very, very interested in mythology, something that probably stemmed from his previous life as Tolkien. Talk about that, he keeps his previous identity a secret due to his other self's dislike of having become a cult figure, and thus keeps his identity a secret to everyone, except to his very close friends. He's also very uncomfortable with reading his own works, since he isn't fond of the idea of becoming friends with a fan. He does like making little inside jokes to those who know about his past life.
He would very much like to take on another writing genre, but has found the others really, really tough. He's not used to realistic fiction and he finds horror too predictable--he has read all Stephen King's works and dislikes many of them-- and he has become a hater of vampire literature thanks to Twilight. He has kept on writing epic fantasy, but slightly different than the style he's so used to.

Siblings: Christian Harper (17), Coralyn(11)
Other: N/A
Pets: Bill, Schnauzer puppy(left at home, under Coralyn's care)
Hometown: Miami, Florida, USA.
History: Aiden was born to a slightly unusual family. Having been born to an artist mother and a father who worked with litearture, Aiden was really drawn into books and to writing from a very young age unlike his brother and sister. He'd often ask his father to let him buy random children's books, and once he grew bored of them at the age of eight, he started saving money to buy some novels. He was also very, very drawn to mythology, especially the Nordic one. He first read about it in a book called 'Mythology for Dummies'(which is an actual book, by the way) and found himself very, very fascinated by it, but a little bit confused, as he believed he'd heard about it somewhere. He never figured out where, until he started having the flashbacks...
In said flashbacks, he saw a neatly organized pile of sheets containing a story about a short man who was entrusted with an ancient Ring and who was meant to destroy it. As the flashbacks became much clearer, he started wondering what they meant. It wasn't until he was twelve that he read the Lord of The Rings and found himself knowing the plot and characters before even opening the books. He suddenly found himself researching science books--much to his distaste--to figure out if that was even possible. He soon came across the term 'reincarnation' and figured that it was what had happened to him. He decided not to tell anyone, since the memories of his past life kept on becoming clearer and he now knew that he had been greatly bothered by his past self's fandom.
It was only one year later that he chose to trust his secret to his closest friend--his sister, Coralyn. Being a Tolkien fan herself, Coralyn was shocked, but respectful and promised to keep his secret from everyone else. Aiden was thankful for his sister's understanding and started writing again--this time in a more modern style and trying different literary genres, though he found many of them too complicated or predictable for his taste. He soon resorted to writing epic fantasy again, but trying a different approach and changing his writing style slightly to avoid being compared to his previous identity. At the age of fourteen he became interested in Riverdale's Liteartute programs and asked to be sent there to study. Being well aware of their son's interest for literature, his parents agreed to let him go. Currently, he is unaware of the existence of the RSOR.

She hadn’t expected to break down like that.
It had been far too easy, and she hadn’t expected that. Then again, Nayda had bottled things up too much. It hadn’t been a wise choice; but she thought it was the only one. She didn’t want anyone seeing her pain; she refused to give the impression that she was weak.
It had been a terrible choice. It was much more painful than she had imagined at first.
So she went on crying for a while, shaking lightly and taking in short, deep breaths. Until she calmed down and was finally able to sigh her relief and wipe her eyes. Her face was paler than usual and her purple irises were bright and glassy; a few wet trails still tracked down her cheeks. But she was better. If not completely fine, she was better. But she needed to talk. She needed to let go of the past, and spilling it all out seemed to be the way to go.
Don’t you dare… was the warning that sounded in the back of her mind. The voice…that dreaded voice; it had been the start of everything and she was going to say it. She knew she had to.
Shut up.
She pulled away, just enough so that she was leaning on the tree and looking up to the darkened sky. ”In days like this…I miss my family, and a lot…”she mumbled. Her eyes lowered to the ground and a smile etched upon her face. ”My father married my mom despite she was human and…they were very happy. I always wanted to have a love story like theirs when I was little…She then sighed. That was when things started to get complicated. Her smile faded.
”My father was always away, so my best friends were my mom and…an imaginary friend. Her name was Kyura. I used to hear her voice in my mind, and I answered her. It was fun…until she started talking about darkness, war and…death. I was always scared of that…and tried to ignore her, but she wouldn’t leave me alone. That’s when I realized that she wasn’t really an imaginary friend, that she was real and wanted me to help her to get revenge on someone…” she bit her lip again. Hard, but not as much as to draw blood this time. She had to take a deep breath before continuing.
”I got tired of it and told my mother. She believed me, but Kyura didn’t like that. I remember that I yelled a lot and fainted…and when I woke up, my mother was dead…”she then started to feel like she was choking. It took her a whole minute to relax.
”…and I had been forced to kill her…I was so scared that I left the house and went to find my father, and he decided to take me away with him so that he could raise me. I stayed with him for a few months and I never asked if he knew what had happened because I was far too scared. I didn’t want to know if he thought I was a bad person or not, but that’s what I considered myself. One day…”she stopped. Now, there came the hard part. It was the part she couldn’t tell. Kyura was going to kill her….no, that didn’t matter. She needed to talk, now.
”…One day he got visits from his old master and I eavesdropped on them while they were talking…by accident, of course. I didn’t mean too, but I was young…I heard them talking, and that was when I learned…that my imaginary friend was an ancient spirit that had chained itself to my soul because I was young, and my bloodline just made it easier. My father had known it all along, and he never told me…I felt…terrible…and ran away…”Nayda could have stopped, and started to cry again, but she didn’t. She was getting a weight of her chest, and it felt good. At least the tough part was over and she could move on a bit.
”I escaped and went to the Elven City. I made it there and got really sick…a boy took pity on me and decided to take me in as his little sister. His name was Aiden. He became my best friend…and I think I liked him…but I was young, so it could have been just a silly crush,"she shook her head a bit and laughed at her own innocence. It was so utterly impossible that she had hoped for such a love story after the drama that had been her life. It was so silly that the idea made her laugh a bit. ”So I lived with Aiden during the rest of my childhood and until I was about…twenty or something like that…that’s when he left to become a Knight. I ended up being alone and left too, because I was bored…and I wanted to see the world. So I left and started travelling, and that’s how it goes until today. I haven’t seen my best friend, or my father in ages...and…I still miss them a lot…”she finished her story. Nayda tucked a lock of blonde hair behind her ear and sighed a bit.
There was one more thing, though…
”As for Kyura…I can’t get rid of her…so she’s still there…I still hear her, but not very often. I wear a charm to keep her away…” she pulled at the purple crystal around her neck and showed it to Errol, her gaze a bit blank and much calmer than before. She sighed and leaned further into the tree, waiting…
…waiting for his reaction. To see if he had changed his mind about her. The possibilities scared her.- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
