All cars were crap. Hmph.
Talia had noticed Carter was very, VERY stubborn. Sure, Clyde had been in the past, but it seemed death only made him more mule-like than ever. He was desperate to cling to the life they once led together...even though it was out of their reach. Bonnie and Clyde were dead and Talia was willing to let their old life go and start a new. Him? No. Not so much.
Recently, he'd insisted all cars except their long-gone model T Ford were just a pile of shit. Talia knew better but she didn't know how to convince Clyde otherwise. He wanted their ancient model T-Ford back...which obviously wasn't going to happen. Talia wasn't crafty enough to get him one. Besides, those things were fucking old and out dated. And right now, all Carter was driving was a really shitty pick up. It was sort of embarrassing to be seen with him and that piece of rusted crap...thought Natalia would never tell him that. She loved him far too much. Instead, she'd just smile, pat his back and say as sweetly as she could, "Baby, I love your car!"
When in reality, she wanted to pour sugar in the gas and water tank so it would just die and he would have to get a new one. Though, Talia wasn't sure that'd so anything to it. As old as it was, that truck was a beast....
So as Christmas approached, Natalia decided what she'd get her boyfriend. Clyde would never refuse a gift from her...but she knew he'd like this. And so she pulled some strings and used her own money — she didn't want coppers to ever take it away from Clyde and besides, in this life, she was rich — and she got him a black Scion Cube. It was as close to the model T Ford as he was going to get in this day and age. Natalia drove it to the school parking lot and parked it right in front of the school before she adjusted everything for Carter, who was much taller than she and wouldn't need the seat pulled so close to the wheel and pedals. She taped some misteltoe to the roof of the car before she scrambled out of it and put the keys to the car in her bra. She shivered a bit at the coldness but smirked. Carter would have fun getting his present from her.
She locked the car and went inside the school. Instead of trying to tack her boyfriend down in school before school started, Talia went to the basement. She didn't mind skipping and she knew he wouldn't either. Her ugg boots made soft noises against the pavement and her black leggings barely did a thing to keep her legs warm. With a sigh, she sat down on the basement steps, smoothing her skirt against her bottom so she could sit properly. She pulled her phone out of her boot at quickly texted Carter:
Baaaaaaaaaaabyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy <3 Meet me in the basement for a Christmas surprise.
She knew he'd probably take it sexually. But Bonnie felt her man would enjoy a car more than he'd enjoy sex. He could get sex any time he wanted, to be honest. That wasn't such a big deal. But a car? Now, a car was a pretty big deal. It was fucking huge. She couldn't wait to see his face when he saw it. She really did hope he'd like it. If he didn't, she'd probably be really sad. She truly did aim to make him happy, even if sometimes she went out of her way to annoy him or ever put him down sometimes. She loved him and wanted to see him happy. This was one of those times she desired happiness from him. WORD COUNT: 505 LISTENING TO: i owe you one - lights COMMENTS: nuffin, muffin.

HERE WE GO AGAIN; WE'RE SICK LIKE ANIMALS WE PLAY PRETENDcarter randolph , SO TAKE IT EASY ON ME; I'M AFRAID YOU'RE NEVER SATISFIED --------------------------------------------------- Christmastime. The most wonderful time of the year. Or at least that’s what the song said. In all reality, Carter had nothing against Christmas, but he wouldn’t go as far as to call it the most wonderful time of the year, or at least in North Carolina. What they did here for Christmas just wasn’t right to him. How could they get the nerve to decorate, put lights up, and get Christmas trees, when there wasn’t any snow on the ground? Christmas was at the end of December, and during the month of December, you were supposed to get snow. It was practically the law. Even in his first lifetime, when he was from Texas, Clyde knew that. He knew that it wasn’t right for people to seem so festive when there weren’t children running around playing in the snow, but instead walking home from school in shorts and T-shirts. Maybe someday, he and Bonnie could move north. If she didn’t want to, then they’d just go there for a week or so some time in the winter. She wouldn’t object to a simple vacation if it was what Carter really wanted, right? Besides, if it was the weather she didn’t like, his truck got heat.
His truck... Carter’s personal piece of shit vehicle. That thing looked like it had been to hell and back. Basically it was like Bella Swan’s truck on Twilight, just a little newer, but the concept was still the same. That vehicle was a beast. It could withstand anything, even the challenge of starting up in the morning when he was back in Detroit and a morning meant below zero temperatures half the year. If he ever got in a car accident, his truck would undoubtedly come out on top. But that didn’t mean that he liked it. Carter missed his old days, his old life. Everyone who knew his true identity knew that. Out of all the reincarnates, he was probably the one who wanted to go back the most. This time period wasn’t the worst, even Carter had to admit sometimes, but it had nothing on the thirties, and that was really the only time he wanted to be in. He missed his car. Damn, he missed his car. His Ford, oh, if he could just have it back for even a day... Sure, it wouldn’t exactly get him too far nowadays, and deep down Carter knew that. But that didn’t mean that he didn’t still miss it.
Back before he’d found Bonnie, Clyde’s life had basically been miserable. He hadn’t had anything to live for. Now that he had Bonnie, it had gotten at least ten times better, ten times more enjoyable. And sure, Carter could make the most out of the time period they were living in, but he wouldn’t bother when he could complain about everything he missed. And currently, his Model T was at the top of that list. He was brooding about all that he missed on his way to his first class when he got a text. Grabbing his phone, he flipped it open in the middle of the hallway, illegally, just like you’re not supposed to do. A smile slowly spread across his face, turning into more of a smirk. Bonnie. She alone could get this sort of look on his face. Carter put his phone back in his pocket and turned down a completely different hallway, heading towards the basement. Did she realize what time it was? Odd time for what he was expecting... Not that Carter cared. He was grinning as he quickly descended the steps to the basement until he found her sitting there. The grin still on his face, Carter sat down on the step above her, moving the hair from the back of her neck and then leaning in to kiss her there. “I’m ready for my surprise,” he murmured, his lips brushing gently against her neck. Right now, he didn’t care that there wasn’t any snow outside. She was enough to make his Christmas perfect.

She really didn't mind the lack of snow. Honestly. She had enough of it in Philly. She hated snow and driving in snow and shoveling snow and here, she didn't have to worry too much. She could wake up to a beautiful, un-snowy day. And it was great. Though, if Carter really did want to go up north for the holidays...fine. But once Christmas was done, she would be too. Late-night cuddle sessions in front of a fire while being snowed it wasn't very romantic to Natalia. They were actually depressing. She would probably spend the whole time with her nose pressed against the window, whimpering about how cold it is and the quickly accumulating snow. ...Clyde better bring a lot of eggnog and vodka to those holidays.
Natalia wasn't even sure his piece of shit truck could get them from state to state. It was very likely to just...die. Randomly. Can you imagine? They'd be going for a Sunday drive, having a good time...and then the car would just go ka-blooey. OR EVER BETTER! They'd be speeding away from cops and the engine would sputter and die. Oh yeah. That'd just be GREAT.
Talia was not about to go to jail because Carter was stubborn.
She drummed her fingers against the stairs as she waited for him to come down here. But as she waited, she realized a problem. He'd be expecting something completely different from what he'd be getting. Hopefully, he wouldn't be disappointed. And hopefully, he wouldn't be too focused on trying to get her clothes off and miss the keys tucked inside her bra entirely. And hopefully, she wouldn't be too caught up in pleasure to forget the car she had waiting outside for him.
Oh, she hoped he'd like the car. It wasn't exactly cheap, for one. And when she saw it on the lot, she was reminded of their old car and she could just hear Carter in her head geeking over it. Hopefully he'd have the same reaction when he actually got a look at it. If he didn't...she may just cry...or hit him. Probably both. And then he'd have to come find her and get her to forgive him and she'd insult him and then they'd yell and then they'd get over it. They fought like that a lot, but it really didn't bother Natalia. They were Bonnie and Clyde. Despite bickering, they loved each other very much and nothing would change that. She would never leave him and he wouldn't even consider leaving her.
She smiled slowly when she felt him brush her hair off her neck and gently lay kisses on her skin. She shivered as she grinned and tilted her head to the side so he could kiss her more. She loved it when he did this. She heard his deep murmur in her ear and his lips tickle her skin, “I’m ready for my surprise,"
"Mmmm," She smirked and reached back and gently placed her hand on his cheek. She kissed his other cheek and leaned back, her kisses going down his neck before she playfully nibbled on his earlobe. "I don't think you are, baby." She whispered in his ear teasingly before she stood up and went down the stairs and faced him.
She smiled at him and out stretched her arms to him. "I hid your surprise," She said in a sing-song voice, "And you can't have it until you find it. But I'll give you a hint," She placed her hands on her hips and cocked her hip to the side as she smirked, "It's hidden somewhere on me."
Happy hunting, Carter.

HERE WE GO AGAIN; WE'RE SICK LIKE ANIMALS WE PLAY PRETENDcarter randolph , SO TAKE IT EASY ON ME; I'M AFRAID YOU'RE NEVER SATISFIED --------------------------------------------------- Carter couldn’t imagine what his life would be like without Bonnie. Taking Bonnie away from Clyde, it just wasn’t... it just didn’t even seem possible. If everyone knew the truth behind Carter and Talia’s relationship, how they were actually reincarnated souls of the famous criminals of the nineteen thirties, no one would expect them to ever break up. Bonnie and Clyde had been inseparable, which would explain why Talia and Carter were, too. In fact, it wouldn’t be the first time if people were a little confused by watching them, observing the intensity of a relationship when they were just in high school. The way they looked at each other, how they always had so much love in their eyes... It generally wasn’t something you saw in high school relationships. If it had been the sort of thing Carter wanted, they would have ran off and gotten married already. Carter would do anything, absolutely anything, for his woman, though. He may complain up the yin yang about it now, but if she still wanted to get married in ten years, then that’s what they would do. In fact, after just one argument, he had pretty much already started getting used to the idea.
Maybe he could be the marriage time. It seemed useless, pointless, to him, but really, would it be all that bad? It wasn’t like Carter planned on ever loving any other woman in his life time, after all. So what was the big deal? But that was his side of the argument, too. What was the big deal? A piece of paper, and an obnoxiously expensive ring? What did it really mean? It was just a sign of their love, wasn’t it? Well, who did they have to prove that to other than their selves? And they already knew, obviously. Marriage was just a piece of paper and nothing more. A lot of pointless tradition and ceremony and just a lot of money thrown down the drain. Carter didn’t have a lot of money as it was, and a wedding wasn’t exactly something you could steal. Sure, some things were tangible, like the flowers and the dress, but the actual marriage itself? Carter wasn’t quite sure how one went about thieving that. And so for now, Bonnie could deal without it, right? They had each other, did they really need that stupid little piece of paper to tell them that? The world could tell that Carter and Talia were in love.
Carter didn’t care, really, if the rest of the world knew that they were in love. As long as no other guys were making moves on his girl, hell, he didn’t care what the world thought. The world probably thought that they were two dumb teenagers who only thought they were in love, and within a matter of weeks, he’d have gotten Talia knocked up. The older generations’ perspective of today’s teenagers wasn’t very good, but really, it wasn’t their fault for thinking that. Even the wildest rumors have to be based in some sort of fact, so today’s teenagers have only given their elders enough examples for assumptions to start being made. With Carter and Talia, well, they were only half right. They did have sex, and quite often, but they weren’t stupid. They were always prepared. Even right now, if they had sex in the basement of the school, like Carter was expecting, he was prepared. The boy could only smile when she kissed him, trailing those kisses down his neck and to his ear. God, she was irresistible. Did she know just how much she made him go crazy? He began to respond to her comment when instead, she got to her feet and descended the rest of the stairs. A surprise... hidden on her... What the hell was she talking about? Okay, now Carter had no idea what to expect. Very slowly, he got to his feet with a confused look on his face, but by the time he reached her at the foot of the stairs, he was smirking again, wrapping his arms loosely around her body only to slide his arms up and down her back. “Hidden, hm?” he murmured, smirking slightly the whole time as he, to put it bluntly, felt her up. Well, he was going to take his time, that was for sure.

Oh yes, she knew she drove him crazy with her kisses. She knew exactly what she did that drove him crazy. Natalia was always in control, even when it seemed he was the one leading her to bed. She knew exactly how to seduce him and tease him. She knew how to get what she wanted from him. She knew how to control him. She was pulling the strings when it came to sex. It was cute sometimes when he thought he could make her go out of her mind for him. She decided not to bother correcting him. He could have an ego about that and she could amuse herself with the truth. She was the one who knew how to touch, tug, kiss, suck and bite. He was putty in her hands when it came to this.
But despite their very healthy sexual relationship, Natalia truly was in love with Carter. And she knew he was in love with her. It was obvious when the two were together that they really did care for each other beyond wanting to lay each other. There was love there. True love. An unbreakable bound. In a way, it was almost like one of those unbreakable vows from Harry Potter. Talia and Carter had made an unspoken promise to each other: the promise to be true and to stay at each other’s side. Without the other half, it was like living without a heart. Simply impossible. It, really, could not be done. Talia’s 17 years without Clyde were hard on her. Every day, she’d wonder where her baby was and every day, the last memory she had with him would replay in her head. Every day, she would remember the smile he had on his face before those coppers shot him in the head. It hurt her.
But now? Now they were together. Now Bonnie had her Clyde back and she was never, ever, ever going to let go of him. She’d have to be crazy to. Now, she didn’t think of their death anymore, because he was here and she could be in his arms again. No, he didn’t have the same face and neither did she…but he had the same soul. Beneath the skin, it was still the Clyde Barrow she knew and loved dearly. Nothing could sever the bond they had. Nothing. Even when times sucked, it couldn’t be broken. They could be on opposite ends of the earth but Talia was still in love, and would always be in love, with Carter Randolph a.k.a Clyde Chestnut (yes, Chestnut. Yes, she finds it funny too) Barrow.
However, that’s not to imply that Natalia didn’t want a ring on her finger. Yes, she knew she and Clyde were in love. Yes, she knew they’d never leave each other…but Bonnie wanted to have kids with Clyde. And she wanted to be married before she had kids (apparently, there was a rumor going around about her “pregnancy” though…so…that plan didn’t go over well…?_). Talia would never let another man cross her mind but she wanted to looks down at her left hand and see a ring sparkling in the light. She wanted to be Mrs. Carter Randolph so badly just as she had wanted to be Mrs. Clyde Barrow back in the 1930s. And she wanted three or four little Barrows-slash-Randolphs. And she would see it happen. She swore it to herself. It. Would. Happen. No matter what Carter said. She would….poke holes in all of his condoms if she had to. Natalia was going to have a baby one day. No ifs, ands or buts about it. Sorry, Carter. Can’t really get out of that one, can you?
Kids was another subject for another time, though. Right now, she had to make Carter stop thinking that she was going to make love to her…because that just wasn’t going to happen. Instead, he was going to get a car…which Natalia thought was better than sex. Especially when it came to his car. His new car > sex > his old car. True facts, bro.
She placed kisses on and around his tattoo on his neck when he smiled more. But the pleasure did not last long for hi and she giggled at his confused expression. She smirked and he wrapped his arms around her little body. “Touching me won’t make me want to tell you,” She teased. Still, she shivered at the motion on her back.
“Hidden, hm?”
“Yes,” She smirked. “On me. Which is why we’re in the basement…so no one can see.” She pressed her body right up against his, “Do you think you can find it?” It really wasn’t that hard.

HERE WE GO AGAIN; WE'RE SICK LIKE ANIMALS WE PLAY PRETENDcarter randolph , SO TAKE IT EASY ON ME; I'M AFRAID YOU'RE NEVER SATISFIED --------------------------------------------------- True love. How exactly did one define true love? It was sad but true that many, if not most, of today’s generation would think of Twilight when the topic of true love came about. But honestly, how could that pathetic excuse for a story describe something as powerful, as potent, as true love? Really the whole series couldn’t even be considered a story, because think about it, where’s the plot line in the entire saga? What is the major goal that they have to work towards in the end? Nothing. According to an online dictionary, true love is “the form of romantic affection that is considered pure and wholly positive, not just based on feelings of lust; The unique individual for whom one feels such affection.” Needless to say, true love wasn’t always something that came about for every person in this world. Carter, however? He was pretty damn sure he’d found it. No, he was one hundred percent positive, no doubt about it. If you asked him, there was no way that anyone in the world could ever love anyone as much as he loved his Bonnie. It sounded cliché, sure, and like something that anyone would say, but Carter truly meant it. They’d come into a second lifetime and found each other, after all. That had to amount for something.
It amounted for a hell of a lot more than something. Carter didn’t really know how he could simply describe the feelings he had for this girl in front of him. It was more than lust, even if lust was a part of it, too. He may pout, and probably outright bitch for a while, but if Bonnie decided that she wanted to wait to have sex with him in this life, he would wait for her. It seemed a strange thought since he threw such a huge fit about marriage and kids and pretty much everything, actually, but his love for her was that strong that he would truly do anything for her. He’d never force Talia to do anything that she didn’t want to do, even if it was something that he wanted. Luckily, then, Natalia wasn’t the sort of girl who believed in abstinence. Carter was eternally grateful for that side of her. A sexually frustrated Carter was not a happy Carter, that was for sure. He could already get really grumpy and pouty as it was, so it was a good thing that Talia was there to satisfy his needs. As discussed, though, that wasn’t the only thing that Carter liked about her; it was just a minor aspect in comparison. His love for her was beyond words. If there was a step beyond that true love definition, then that was where they were.
But that wasn’t to say that having this part of her didn’t help, after all. Carter truly enjoyed every moment he spent with Talia — minus the fights, but the moments after were always pretty good — but moments like this... well, they were pretty near the top of his list. Christmas was a wonderful time, wasn’t it? “I’m not worried about that,” he said in a deep rough voice, smirking a little. Catching her shivering just widened the smirk on his face. “Who says I can’t enjoy myself, make the most out of this?” Granted, Carter would enjoy this even without the opportunity to touch every part of her body he could reach. This was a perk, though. One of many. “Do you think you can find it?” Well, Carter may have had absolutely no clue what she was talking about, but if it was hidden on her, goddammit, he was going to find it no matter what. Besides, that clue probably meant that it was under her clothes somewhere, and Carter had no problem with getting rid of those... “I think I can handle it,” he said in the same quiet voice, tugging on the hem of her leggings as if to pull her closer, though there was really no space between their two bodies at all. On the same train of thought, the boy tugged them down slightly, not enough to show much but enough for her to get what he was hinting at. Well, as long as the part of his surprise he expected was still coming to him... He moved his hands up and eagerly, in one swift movement, removed her shirt, managing to not see the keys lodged in her bra the entire time. Maybe he would need help.

True love. According to urban dictionary, it's this:
"Love is the greatest gift God ever gave man. Love is not wanting to go anywhere without her. Love is not caring what other people think about the two of you. Love is when you feel depressed and sickly when you're not with her. You feel like your life has no meaning or purpose without her. Love is caring for her physically and emotionally. That you would do anything and everything for her. It's the feeling that you would give up everything just to see her smile or look into her beautiful eyes or hear her soft, soothing voice. Love is pure happiness. Love is the feeling you get when all you have to do is think of her and it brings a smile to your face and a yourning to your heart. Love is wanting to hold her in your arms till the end of time. Love is wishing your time with her never ends, that your lips would be locked together forever, that she'd be in your arms till the end of time, that you could cuddle with her for all of eternity. Love is being helplessy and deeply in love with her and knowing your love for her and your feelings for her will never change/end. Love is the world, the world is love, and she is the world to me..."
All of that was great, but the one thing Talia had learned as a child that the definition of true love was "self sacrifice". You love someone so much, you'll take on any of their pain or problems if you can. You'd give up anything for the person you loved.
Talia knew what she had right here with Carter was true love. She knew he loved her unconditionally. He'd bend over backwards for her. He'd go to the moon and back for her. He'd get her anything she wanted. Bonnie knew Clyde would do just about anything to make her happy. She felt a little selfish, though. She loved Carter just as much as he loved her, but she didn't know how to return the favor. Carter loved sex, she knew that much. It was pretty obvious. And she did give him that; she wasn't a prude like her room mate. But, Talia felt there had to be something else she could do aside from taking him to bed. Something...better. More personal and less physical.
And so, she came up with a car.
But just because she wanted less physical didn't mean she wanted NO physical. Natalia liked the physical part, too. She liked it a lot and ran the risk of getting distracted and giving in to the physical part.
“I’m not worried about that,”
She smiled at the sound of his voice and she caught his smirk. He knew she liked it, too. “Who says I can’t enjoy myself, make the most out of this?” He asked.
Talia ran her fingers down his chest before tracing his abs. "Jerk," she whispered before she leaned in and kissed his neck. Fine. If he wanted to play that way...
“I think I can handle it,”
She felt him tug at the hem of her leggings. She smiled at Clyde pressed her body against him since they could not get any closer. She ran her fingers through his curly hair as he tugged her leggings down a bit. Talia's mind began to wander elsewhere and she began to get caught up in what he wanted and expected. It wasn't until he had removed her shirt that she remembered. This encounter was not about sex! It was about his car. Bad girl! Bad Bonnie! Here she was, practically ready to lay on her back for him when his car was waiting outside, all white and brand new in the parking lot with leather seats and a killer stereo system waiting for Carter to take advantage of? Bad girl.
And, apparently, he missed out on the keys in her bra. Well...her baby had never been the sharpest tool in the shed. She knew that. Even though she knew he'd like touching her, perhaps this was not the wisest way to hide things. Clyde had a one track mind and currently, that track was heading to making love.
Bonnie pressed her body against his again, just to give him a final thrill before he went to his new car. She kissed his neck once again and ran her hands down his body before she subtly sucked in her breath to pull back her chest. When her chest shrank against her with her breath, the keys to Carter's new car slipped from her bra and fell at their feet. If he missed that one...oh boy, he was dense.

HERE WE GO AGAIN; WE'RE SICK LIKE ANIMALS WE PLAY PRETENDcarter randolph , SO TAKE IT EASY ON ME; I'M AFRAID YOU'RE NEVER SATISFIED --------------------------------------------------- If one thing had to be named as the most powerful force in the world, it would be love. Even Carter, deep down, would admit that. He knew that without love there would be nothing. It sounded corny, but it was true, and something all mopey like that must have to be seriously true for Carter to have to go along with it. It wasn’t like Carter was turning into one of those people who thought that everyone had to get along and be hunky dory with everyone, loving everybody, all that peace shit. No, the world was a dark and terrible place, and he for one was willing to contribute to that notion. But he knew that they wouldn’t have even gotten this far without love. Love was often one’s greatest motive, the thing pushing them to do what they do the most. Carter knew that was certainly true in his life. He was a criminal, born and bred. But if Bonnie wanted something different with their lives, well, his love for her out ruled everything else and though he may complain, he would change his life for her. She knew that, and may have even taken advantage of that in more than one situation, but Carter didn’t care. It was that blind love, the kind that covers any flaws. To him, Talia was perfect. She was the one thing in this new world they were experiencing together that he needed. He would truly give up anything for her.
Stopping himself now, however, might be a bit difficult. If there was one thing that would take a lot of begging at this moment, it would be getting his mind off of sex. Even though Talia had made it clear that he had a surprise coming and Carter should have, and probably halfway did, realize that that meant something other than making love in the school basement. However, that hadn’t been enough to keep his eyes off of the prize. And the prize? Her body. God, she was beautiful. She was perfect. She was flawless. Anyone else who met Bonnie may have disagreed immensely. And she did have her flaws, just like anyone else. But to Clyde, he couldn’t want anything else. He wouldn’t be able to tolerate anything else. He just wanted her. Right now, in more of a physical sense of the word. It didn’t take much to get Carter’s mind on sex, but it took a hell of a lot more to get it off. He was completely wrapped up in the moment when he heard the sound of metal hitting the ground. He paused. Metal... the only thing that honestly came to mind was that Talia was a robot and had just lost a part, and the chances of that one were pretty slim. Carter blinked, looking up at her eyes, then slowly down at their feet. Were those... keys?
He blinked again, finally taking a small step back to lean down and pick them up. “Bonnie, your..” But wait a minute. Those weren’t her keys. These were... these were different. Carter looked up at her in confusion. Why did she have someone else’s keys? Did she steal a car or something? Clyde smirked at that one before looking back down at the keys again, turning them over in his hand. “What are these?” he asked slowly, returning his gaze to her once more. Keys... wait. Wait just a minute. Wait just a fucking minute. A surprise. His eyes widened slightly as the thought reached him; he couldn’t help it. She hadn’t fucking gotten him a car. She couldn’t have! That was insane! Who honestly got their boyfriend a motherfucking car for Christmas? That was going just a little far! Not to mention, it put his Christmas presents for her way out of perspective. But she couldn’t have really gotten him one, right? That was preposterous. “...Where did these come from? Whose are these?” And if she told him they were his, he would probably shit his pants. Carter may have complained about how cars sucked unless they were anything like his old Model T-Ford, but some of the new cars they came out with today... holy shit. He’d take everything bad he’d ever said about cars back just for the chance to take a spin in them.

Oh, she was far from flawless. Anyone, including Bonnie herself, could tell you that. She had many, many, many character flaws. Some, she was trying to work on and sort out. Others? She either did not notice them or didn't care to fix them because they didn't bother her one bit. Some of her flaws included her smoking habit, her bitter sarcasm, her bitterness in general, her inability to think before she speaks, her ability to hold a grudge...and so on and so on. There was no need for people to argue and debate over it: Natalia Anne Kruske was a flawed individual.
Yet, Carter loved her still. Despite every character flaw, he loved her. He saw her as perfect in every way. Carter put up with her moody-ness and all of her bitchiness and was always there for her when she needed him. Wow. Just...wow. Wow, in a good way, of course. Talia was surprised he loved her despite all of that and she was grateful he remained at her side. Talia was afraid, though, that one day he'd grow tired of her attitude. She was afraid that one day her own actions would drive him away. She wasn't sure what she would do without him. She needed him as he needed her.
Right now, he definitely would say that he 'needed' her. Talia was beginning to rethink what she had done. Her poor boyfriend was way too addicted to having sex. Perhaps stuffing the keys in her bra was not one of her brighter ideas. He was a guy with a one track mind, for sure. His mind was probably going "I wanna sleep with her. I wanna sleep with her. I wanna sleep with her. I wanna sleep with her. I wanna sleep with her. I wanna sleep with her." right now and he'd probably long forgotten that he had a present coming for him. She half-doubted he would look down when the keys dropped. She smiled when he did. Good. She'd distracted him from sex. Good Clyde. Focus on the keys. Why are there keys on the ground. Focus on that. Forget the sex. Forget the boobs. Keys.
He looked from her to the keys at their feet and took a small step back to pick up the keys. “Bonnie, your..” She grinned and also took a step back. She picked up her shirt and pulled it back on as he slowly tried piecing it together. She saw his smirk and rolled her eyes. She knew what he was thinking. "No," She said, "I didn't steal it."
“What are these?” he asked slowly, returning his gaze to her once more.
...Seriously. She smirked and put her jacket back on and fixed her leggings. "Well, honey," She said slowly, fixing her hair a bit, "Those little metal objects in your hand are called 'keys'. Keys have many uses. Houses have keys. Sometimes safes have keys. Diaries have keys. Cars have keys..."
Put two and two together Carter. C'mon. You can do it.
His eyes widened. Bingo. “...Where did these come from? Whose are these?”
"Well, they came from my bra..." She said and then she smiled at him, "And they go to a black Sion Cube sitting in the parking lot. Oh, and they belong to some guy I know named Clyde Chestnut Barrow." Talia took his hand and pulled him up the basement stairs. Holding onto his hand tight so he wouldn't pull away, she lead him down the hallway towards the front doors of the school. She explained to him, "You're too damn stubborn to go out and get a new or used car. Let's face it, baby, your truck is a junker. A complete pile of useless scrap metal. Possibly a death trap. But you're stubborn and you refuse to get a new car and that's okay. It definitely narrowed down the choices for your Christmas gift."
She stopped walking and stopped her blabbering when they reached the front door. Natalia let go of his hand and turned around to face him. She smiled up at her, her brown eyes alive with excitement for his reaction to his brand new car. Hopefully, he wouldn't be is usual Sir Crankypants self towards the car. Hopefully, he'd really like it. After all, it did look a lot like their car from back in the day.
Natalia stood on her toes for a moment and she gave him a kiss on the cheek. Lowering herself back down to her normal height, she said, "Merry Christmas, Clyde." And with that, she opened the door for him so he could walk out into the parking lot and see the beautiful black car sitting right there, waiting for him to unlock and drive. It was his. All his.

HERE WE GO AGAIN; WE'RE SICK LIKE ANIMALS WE PLAY PRETENDcarter randolph , SO TAKE IT EASY ON ME; I'M AFRAID YOU'RE NEVER SATISFIED --------------------------------------------------- There was usually one trait that was primary in a person, one that dominated their entire character. When it came to Carter, there were a few main contenders, but the top one was probably stubbornness. Sure, his short temper and how quick he was to anger were pretty close, but being stubborn seemed to truly control who he was. If he wasn’t stubborn, he wouldn’t be Carter. It didn’t really matter what the subject matter was, either; Carter was going to be stubborn about it no matter what. The worst aspect was when Clyde was wrong, and he’d go to any length to try to convince his opponent or conversation partner or whoever the hell was around him that he’s right. Carter knew he was wrong a lot of the time. That didn’t mean that others had to know that though, right? And it was made even worse when the person he was talking to, he or she knew for a fact that Carter was wrong. Because then it turned into arguing. And Carter and arguing? Not a good match. That just brings in the short temper aspect of his personality, the other prominent area. It took hardly more than a few sentences to get Carter to start shouting and yelling and basically just bitching out whoever he was talking to.
A lot of the time, that person that got bitched out ended up being Bonnie. Carter could never completely and truly appreciate how lucky he was that she stuck with him through all of that. Sure, he knew he was lucky, he knew he was blessed to have this girl with him wherever he went and whatever he did, but the sheer greatness of how lucky he was? He could never really reach that point of appreciation. Instead, he’d settle for doing whatever he could for Talia, doing anything she wanted. He was stubborn, he was quick to anger, he stole, yeah, all of that. Carter wasn’t the world’s greatest guy. But all guys have at least some good qualities to them, some soft side, all of that. Carter was no different from the rest of the male population in that aspect. He really and truly cared about Talia and would undoubtedly do anything for her. It was true love. Carter had never felt this way about any other woman. Granted, that was probably because after he realized in this life who he truly was, Clyde Barrow, his life pretty much completely revolved around Bonnie Parker, where she was, how she was, if she was.
Oh but she definitely was. And she was more than he could ever imagine. Lucky to have her? That was an understatement, and Carter would multiply that times 978453157642513 right now if he could. What girl honestly got her boyfriend a car for Christmas? A brand new fucking car? Sure, material possessions didn’t matter, all of that, yeah that was great. But that sure as hell didn’t mean that they didn’t help. From the moment he finally pieced it together, Carter was practically bouncing with excitement. A new car! Goddammit, Talia, let go of him, he had to go see his car! He clutched the keys tightly in his other hand all the while she walked up the stairs with him, and fuck was she going slow. That was probably only Carter thinking that, but honestly, could you blame him? There was a motherfucking brand new car waiting for him in the parking lot! And Carter knew what Scion Cubes looked like. He knew it wasn’t just a coincidence that Talia had picked out this particular car for him. And that just made him love her all the more.
He barely heard any of the words that left her mouth as they walked, which was probably good, because even in this great mood Carter would definitely have something to say about that. He’d defend his old truck to the end. Either way, his mind was completely all over the place when Talia kissed him on the cheek. He noticed that, though, and looked down at her, his eyes wide with excitement and a smile slowly starting to spread across his face. She moved out of the way, and Carter flew out of those doors like a bat out of hell, his eyes instantly laying sight on it. His new car. It was.. hell, it was even more than he thought! Carter stood there frozen to the spot for a moment, his mouth opening and closing. He had nothing to say. Finally he went over to his new car, slowly moving his hand over its smooth new paint job. He pulled open the door on the driver’s side, his eyes falling on the vehicle’s beautiful interior. Fuuuuuck. He sat down in the car, running a hand slowly over his steering wheel and his eyes over everything else. It was then that he noticed the mistletoe taped to the ceiling, and he smiled. He closed the door and started the car, rolling down the automatic window on the passenger side with a smile. “Bonnie..” he said slowly and excitedly, grinning from ear to ear. He needed her before he could take it for its first spin, after all.
