It was a busy day today as she went to her classes of the morning. Science was her first period, next it was Language Arts, and then came Band practice. Yes, she was in the school’s band. She could play the guitar, but in band she was on flute. Of course, a few of the concerts, they did have her playing on the guitar for a few songs. It was lovely. She could sing too, and couldn’t wait for Chorus. That wasn’t until the evening today. It was a good thing she was boarding here at Riverdale High instead of being a day student. Boarding students had a bit more time in school and can have an extra class or two, which Cindy Winchester does.
Science for her was Physics, and it was very interesting the class today. Their teacher just wanted them to try out the Laws of Motion in class and bonus: no homework! It was Creative Writing for her arts, and she enjoyed it so. Oliver would probably wonder why didn’t she do Journalism and the answer would be that she was a journalist already, had been as Harriet Quimby, and now as her alias of Harriet J.B. Fisher. It was so awesome to become to be older than she appears on the outside. And, of course, she had Band practice, which was always an awe-inspiring occasion and experience. She actually was allowed to play her guitar.
Now onto Physical Education, she thought grimly. Her worse class and it wasn’t anything new to her or her life.
It was just after her departing from Band to head to the Gymnasium that she ran almost into somebody. It’s a very cute somebody with dark hair and deep eyes, that she paused in her step and in her breath. She never had this reaction towards another person or in this case boy in all her years of living and the years as Harriet Quimby. It froze her and made her wonder if the reason behind her unmarried status was because she never this magnetism with another being in her first life. She was never this attracted to a boy and she felt herself become weak in her vocal cords.
She had been on her way to her locket to place away her guitar and flute where she tripped yet caught herself upright, but then almost went right into the young man now in front of her. Her Musical instrumental cases became harder to control and both slip out of her grips, she grimaced and went to catch them. It was a good thing both cases were patched with special material to keep from bruising, in case of falls, but down the stairwell she prayed they were alright. She was concern, but she was also concern with the well-being of the boy.
“You’re not hurt, are you?” She asked him anxiously.
