THE HOLIDAYS HAVE BEGUN!
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL,
AND TO ALL, A GOOD...
BALL?!
TRUE TO TRADITION... Riverdale will be holding it's annual Christmas Ball on the 23rd day of December from 7:00 PM through until 11:00 PM. Our ball is easily the most classy event to be a part of the Riverdale culture, and one of our proudest.
The gym will be decked out in true festive spirits; elegant candles, trees, some festive, but no gaudy, lights; something for any of you staying at Riverdale over the holidays can enjoy.
Remember, Riverdale students, that people from the Eastwood High in lower Riverdale will also be in attendance; please keep your manners.
GREAT EXPECTATIONS... To attend our fine event, the bar is set high. At the very least, one must be in a dress shirt and formal dress pants, along with a tie or bow tie. Girls, you can wear this too, or you can opt for a classy dress; the just above the knee is the shortest it gets.
All visitors must and will also comply. Entry fees for Riverdale students and staff are a grand total of nothing, though you have to show your student ID to prove you're one of us. Otherwise, the fee is $5.00, to be donated to Feed The Children - feel free to bring a donation, even if you may not necessarily have to pay.
OH COME ALL YE FAITHFUL... We find this fair to say - while you do not need to be Christian to attend, the ball will start and end with a prayer. We got some angry letters from parents last year, saying there non-Christian students had to attend. They didn't.
