HANSTON IS IN THE FINAL FIVE

Our Principal has done it again, and by Tuesday we all hear of the results. She e-mailed me yesterday, and this is the contents:

"DuPoint, I hope all is going well at Riverdale. I have landed myself a spot in the top five; I am currently in third place, and am the oldest competitor, again. = / Oh so typical. But this spring chickens won't beat me. The last three rounds consist of an obstacle course (if I can run after our students I can run though some bouncy castle), a pop quiz on British history; which is one of my strong fronts, and the last round is all things ado with Shakespeare.

I have no doubts you will post this email all over the school (yes staff, I know you've done it for as long as I've had email ; ) ) so I'll mention to my students that no, I have not yet had to wear the pikachu costume. Furthermore, if I ever have to dress up as a pokemon again, I think I will choose to be mudkip.

Wish her luck! After all, the rewards for winning these competitions not only bring the Principal fame and fortune among other Principals, but the rewards are handsome.
