THE PRINICIPAL'S CONVENTION
Well, Riverdale, it's that time of the year that, in the staff room, gets us talking...
....yes, we have lives....
But it's always fun, lives or not, to hear of the Principal's convention and the weird things they have to do. Let us recall in the past thirty-some years that Hanston has had to:
-Bob for apples
-Skydive
-Sit in a dunk tank with other principals taking shots at her
-Sleep through boring lectures
-Stand on her head
And dress up as pikachu. Ask me for the youtube link.
All trying to win things for our school and better her education skills, and she has come home successful many times - remember that nice discount we got making the pool buildings? Well, that was her.
This year's theme is all about history and current events; right up my alley. She departs tomorrow for Charlotte, and may luck be with her!May she also remember her toothbrush. And her Pikachu costume. You never know when a sixty two year old woman will have need for one of those.
