And even if you don't danceI've got to get you out and take this chance Honestly, Skylar was surprised he had even gone to prom. Though really him being dressy was no real surprise. It was the fact that he had actually taken the day off to actually go rather than fix things for people. That was the thing that was surprising. Hey, he figured every so often he deserved a bit of a break being that he hardly ever got sleep. Sure he would still have to go to class, but he could at least nap afterwards until he had to get up and get ready for prom. Which he did and thus wandered in a bit around the time when most showed up. He was in a tuxedo with a purple tye, and his hair was in it's usual straight place being that his hair almost always looked the same. Well, alright when he woke up in the morning after sleeping on it wet it looked quite hilarious, but otherwise it usually looked the same. Besides, nobody other than Fox and Aiden saw his hair like that, or saw him unorderly for that matter. He pretty much kept that hidden from most people, but he couldn't avoid his roommates seeing it being that they were his roommates. That, and the fact that he wasn't coherant enough to hide the way he acted in the morning. Though, Lex had seen it once when he ended up in his room after getting drunk. He could excuse that as being hung over beyond reason though and thus spent most of that time in bed not wanting to do anything. Not that you could really blame him. He had been stressed and decided he wanted to act like a complete loon for a couple hours. Thus, he did just that. Sure that may have ended with him snuggling Lex completely smashed, but he doubted that the other boy was going to complain about it too much. After all they were dating and it was snuggling. Though he wasn't sure the hang over was worth the few hours that were completely blank in his mind. Which was mostly the bonfire. He remembered starting a conversation with a few people, but not where it went from there. Ah well, he would ask them about it some other time, or just let them think he remembered because he wasn't quite as smashed as they thought.
Anyway he had gone to prom and watched Errol steal random people to dance, and was quite surprised to see Lex agree to a dance. So, yeah, Skylar would be lying if he said he wasn't a little jealous. The two of them couldn't really dance together being that there were quite a few rumors about them being together already in circulation, and he didn't really want to announce the fact that they were true at prom. That would be a little much, and it was asking for something bad to happen after all. Thus he watched Lex dance with Errol for a bit, and was quite unhappy. Though he did take some comfort in the fact that Lex pretty much hated Errol. That was something at least. It kept him from going over and punting the boy into next week that was for sure. Not that he wouldn't deserve it what with all the crap he had been giving the RSOR as of late. Certainly more than enough that was for sure. Seeing as it seemed he was pretty much the head of the anti-RSOR. Ah well, there wasn't really much they could do about that. Just had to be careful and keep them from finding out too much. They didn't want to be thrown into a mental institution after all. That would be rather unpleasant. Seeing as they definitely weren't crazy, and even if they could prove that they weren't...would they want to? After all certain reincarnates would probably have to pay for past crimes, or would be expected to do certain things again in this life. He didn't really have a ton to live up to, but it was enough that many would expect him to invent something spectacular more than likely. Which, honestly he wasn't planning on being an inventor, just planning on being an electronics expert. Which meant he wanted to just fix broken technology, or make his own better from scratch. Nothing more than that, sure it wasn't spectacular, but he could end up making something awesome on accident. He just didn't want it expected of him, that was way too much pressure.
Finally though he got up the courage and went over to steal Lex. He'd said they had something to work on and thus they had to leave prom. That was pretty much a lie, but at least he would have the younger male to himself now. Lex said they were going to go dance, but Sky wasn't so sure about that. Really he couldn't dance that well, never had any reason to learn, and thus he was pretty sure that would end in disaster. If that was what the other boy had even meant. Hell, he could have missed an innuendo for all he knew honestly. He was a bit bad at picking things like that up sometimes. Which is probably why he never really realized that Lex was hitting on him for real rather than just trying to mess with him. Though he had to say, the way Lex had hit on him was different from the way some girls had, and he hated it considerably less. Anyway, he ended up leading Lex back to his room. Being that he knew his roommates had gone to prom and thus weren't there. The walk back was pretty quiet, but really he had nothing to say. Thus when they got to his room he shut the door behind them and locked it so someone wouldn't walk in on accident because they had been drinking at prom and thus went to the wrong room. Being that it would be rather annoying for that to happen. Skylar loosened his tie a little as he walked back to his room and turned to look at Lex. "So....are you seriously going to try and teach me to dance? That seems like a disaster waiting to happen honestly." he admited while blushing a bit at that.

search for the answers i knew all alongi lost m y s e l f, we all fall downProm was the last thing on Lex’s mind at this moment in time. He had chemo, and schoolwork, and Skylar to think about. And the goddamn bulletin from the goddamn Wizard. He had been talking to Oz the other day, and swore that when he found that little prick of a “wizard” that he would rip his arms off. It wasn’t enough that Lex was dying? It wasn’t enough that he was worried? No. There had to be rumors, true rumors nonetheless, about Skylar and Lex. And no matter how much Lex cared about Sky, he wasn’t ready to be outted. Not like this anyways.
But he had gone. For one reason and one reason only. To show everyone that nothing was bothering him. That he was okay. Sure, everyone knew he had cancer now. And most people were suspecting that he was hooking up with a guy. But it didn’t matter if he showed them that he wasn’t bothered by any of it. Right? And then again, he and Skylar hadn’t really ‘hooked up,’ per say. It was fine with Lex, who was more nervous about that than he had been for anything else in his life. And there was that one time, when Sky got smashed, and Lex held him while he slept it off. That was a memorable night. Because it led to the memorable morning where Lex saw Skylar untidy for the first time. It was breathtaking. No, okay. That was a cheesy way to put it. But that was the sexiest thing that Lex had ever seen. And he wasn’t about to forget that. Ever.
Lex knew that he had surprised more than a few people by dancing with Errol at prom. He had done it more to save poor Oliver, who had looked like he was about to die of embarrassment. What the hell was wrong with that normie? He was just so…Ech. Lex couldn’t stand him one bit. It took all of his self-control not to strangle the guy when they were flamenco-ing it up. Too bad Lex was busy keeping his counting even to ‘accidentally’ trip the guy and send him flying. He would have rather danced with Skylar. Or did anything with Skylar. But he was now forced to try and keep his distance. And he was failing miserably. Isa was practically sighing in contentment for them. She was as happy as a clam, now that she knew about them.
And yes. Lex had been a touch angry that Skylar had told her. But then he realized that it felt good for someone to know. Especially when that someone was on the LP, and would keep their secret to the grave if they wanted her to. She had kept Lex’s cancer secret, after all.
When they left the prom a thousand thoughts ran through his head, each more compromising than the last. Sure, he could literally just teach Sky to dance. But they were headed to Sky’s room…and Fox and Ollie were still at prom…and they would be alone. Now he was nervous again, and he noticed that Skylar was completely at ease, opening his door to his room. Either the genius didn’t know that what could happen could happen, or he was so sure about being with Lex that he wasn’t nervous at all. Lex would have bet any money that he had that it was the first option. No matter how smart he was, Skylar was naive when it came to sexual attention and situations. Sometimes it was cute, and endearing to Lex. But other times, like now for instance, it was completely unsettling.
They were alone. In Sky’s room now. And Skylar had locked the door. Lex suddenly felt very hot around the collar. He pulled off his vest, and bowtie, folding them carefully and setting them on a bed. It was clean in Sky’s dorm. And Lex would be the last one to ruin that. If only his new roommates were a bit neater. Oh well. He could enjoy the clean in Sky’s room whenever he visited. Which was whenever it was empty. He unbuttoned the top two buttons on his shirt, and enjoyed the feel of the cool air on his hot skin. Chemo always made him feel feverish, and the way Skylar looked in his tux was not helping. Oh! Or the way he had just loosened his tie.
“So....are you seriously going to try and teach me to dance?” Lex smirked at the genius. It was cute that Skylar was so nervous for the dance lesson, when Lex was so nervous just to be alone with the guy. “That seems like a disaster waiting to happen honestly."
Lex ran a hand through his hair and decided to be honest. “I figured we could start of with a dance or two. You can’t be that bad.” Lex smiled encouragingly. “And then, maybe, I dunno…” He trailed off, raising his eyebrows. That probably could have been said more eloquently, but right now, all he was focusing on was Skylar.
He stepped closer to the inventor and smiled. “I was thinking the tango?”
Carefully, he grabbed Skylar’s right hand and held it in his own left one. Then, just as slowly, he took Skylar’s left hand and pulled it up and around his shoulders. This brought them substantially closer, and Lex looked directly into his boyfriend’s eyes. He placed his hand around Skylar’s waist, and felt the inventor’s hip bones under his shirt. Lex’s face was now very serious, as he stared into the older boy’s eyes. This was definitely an intimate moment, and he wanted to make sure that Skylar was comfortable.
“Is this okay?” he asked, squeezing the boy’s waist and hand simultaneously to show what he meant. The smell of Sky’s cologne was intoxicating, and he inhaled deeply as he waited for the inventor to make the next move. Or for him to agree that Lex could make the next move. And even if you don't danceI've got to get you out and take this chance Sure prom wasn't perfect, but it was better than nothing as a way to relax. Besides it wasn't as if he was planning on being there all night. Why the hell would he want to stand around all night. It wasn't as if he could simply start dancing with Lex without risk of people assuming the rumors were true. Thus he had to avoid too much contact with him. Which was why he'd spent most of the time in a group. Though Lex had ended up tickling him to the point of him falling over and thus he ended up face planting Lex's chest when he was pulled to his feet. Really he was quite uncoordinated at times. Really he should do something about that before he seriously injured himself again. Though, admittedly, sometimes it wasn't exactly because he was uncoordinated that he got hurt. Sometimes other things factored in, or technology had just decided to hate him that day. Was really no surprise being that it really seemed like technology hated him at times. Ah well, he'd work around that and evenutally he would figure out things before having it backfire on him. When he finally reached that point though was anyone's guess. Until then he would just deal with the injuries. Not like they were ever all that bad. Just a cut or a bruise or a burn. Nothing he was worried about, everyone else seemed to worry about it, but he wasn't about to do so. Maybe that made it look like he had no concern for his own safety, but that wasn't true. He was concerned, but only to a certain extent, he didn't count minor injuries as safety hazards honestly. Being that in his mind a minor injury could have been worse, and thus he was being careful. Just not quite careful enough to avoid it completely. No big deal really, right? Well, he certainly thought so.
So yeah, he probably should have asked Lex about it before telling Isa, but nobody else was around and who the hell was she going to tell? She knew his temper, let alone Lex's so he doubted she would tell anyone. Besides, as far as he knew she was pretty damn good at keeping secrets. Well, he was pretty sure Lex told her about the cancer, and she had kept that, and he'd known her for a while now. He had voted her in for a reason after all, but anyway he figured since they were alone and she had asked about the rumors he might as well tell her. Skylar felt there was no reason to lie about it to her. Besides, she'd reacted quite well about it. Which, for Isa, quite well meant squeeing about how cute it was. He wasn't sure why she found it so cute, but hey he wasn't going to question a sixteen year old girl. Really, who could tell how they would react and why they reacted that way? It was a mystery, just like pretty much all girls to him. Really, he was terrible when it came to interpretting the opposite sex. Though, obviously he was pretty bad at interpretting people in general seeing as being hit on seriously had gone straight over his head for quite some time. Ah well, that wasn't really important. He'd work on his people skills if he felt like it, and if he didn't well, then he had Lex. Obviously he had some social skills if he had a boyfriend. At least, that was what his mind reasoned. Though really he knew he kinda failed sometimes when it came to being social. Especially when he was a tad irritated, because then he just hit nerves on people and they got annoyed with him fast. Hey, it got them to leave him alone, but he really could go about accomplishing that in a much better way. Like, for example, telling them that he wasn't feeling that great and wanted to be left alone. What was hard about that? Ah well, maybe it was just the fact that when he was irritable his mouth spewed things a few moments before he could think about them. Anyway, that wasn't important right now. What was, was the fact that he was alone with Lex, and the fact that this had just occurred to him. Wow he was dense sometimes.
So yeah, it occurred to Skylar that he was completely alone with Lex, and had locked the door. Well, now he felt a bit more awkward that was for sure. Especially being that he probably just asked a stupid question. Had Lex even remotely intended on teaching him to dance or was his mind going elsewhere? Sky blushed quite a bit as his tie and jacket were tossed over a chair. Not like he would be needing them, and he suddenly felt quite warm. Which was why the top button of his shirt also became undone. He looked over at Lex and heard his responce. Well, so he was planning on teaching him something, and then...what? "You'd be surprised" he muttered. With how uncoordinated he was it wouldn't surprise him to learn that he was absolutely terrible at dancing. "Maybe....?" he asked blushing a bit as he did so. Seemed that Lex was jumping to dancing again though as he moved closer to Skylar and placed his hands where they needed to go. "Sure?" he said not sure about the tango, or any other dance for that matter, but he would at least attempt. Well, now they were definitely very close and Sky glanced down at the hand on his waist. At least his burn had mostly healed. At least to the point where accidentally brushing against it didn't hurt anymore. He looked back up into Lex's eyes and blushed a bit more. Hearing the question he had to think of a responce. Instead he just nodded and smiled a bit at the squeeze. Now, what was next? Obviously the inventor had no idea where this was going, and thus was going to just go along with whatever Lex had planned. Seemed like the best idea at the moment. Not like he could lead the dance, that was for sure.

search for the answers i knew all alongi lost m y s e l f, we all fall downThis was exquisite torture. They were so close that Lex could feel the warmth of the older boy through their shirts. One thing Lex didn’t understand was literally how inept Skylar was at romance. Lex wasn’t complaining about the way they handled things. The inventor was just so…immune to any type of innuendo or suggestive meanings. It was more than a bit frustrating. Like now for instance. He had trailed off to try and be mysterious, and sexy. But it wasn’t to be so. Skylar had asked him what he meant, and now he had to find a way to answer the inventor without being either prudish, or overly explicit.
First, he gave the older boy a look. A look that was both smoldering, and annoyed. It was the closest thing to a “come hither” look as he would ever give. He knew it would make any other human being tremble in their shoes. But then again, Skylar wasn’t like any other human being. He wasn’t even like anyone in RSOR. There was just something…unique. And driven. Something different about the inventor that made him seem almost alien.
The second thing he did was plant a very deep and ardent kiss on Sky’s lips. It served a double purpose, by making Lex feel both very light, and as if he weighed a ton. He pulled away to breathe heavily into the inventor’s collarbone, placing some small love bites and chaste kisses on his smooth and pale skin. Completely warm, and now wishing that they were both a bit less thick headed, he inhaled and exhaled deeply, looking his boyfriend in the eyes.
“Was that a good enough answer?” Lex mumbled, placing another bite on the inventor’s neck. “Or should I spell out my intentions even more clearly?”
It was quiet in the room. Too quiet, Lex realized. He could hear both of them breathing, and he could feel both of their heartbeats in their chests. Too quiet, he decided again. Quiet invited more awkward situations than music did. Especially when Lex was teaching the poor inventor to dance, and they were standing so close. This dance invited every part of the body to touch the partners. It was a very sensual dance, and to do this in the quiet would just be…awful.
Slowly, and wishing he didn’t have to, Lex pulled away from his boyfriend. He ran both hands over his buzzed scalp, missing his locks more than he had imagined he would. It had started falling out in chunks, and no one wants to look like a tree with half of its leaves. He looked at the thoroughly gorgeous Edison in front of him, and wondered how he could be so lucky as to have someone so amazing. Skylar dealt with Lex’s temper, his competitiveness, and his obsessive cleanliness.
He ripped his thoughts away from admiration, and focused on the present, on what was happening and what could very well happen in the near future.
“Music,” Lex breathed out, and noticed that his voice had dropped an octave as he stared at the gorgeous creature before him. “Got anything slow?”
And as he waited for the music, he realized that he was going about this all wrong. He should have shown the older boy the 8 set first, before pulling him so closely. Alexander the Great wasn’t a very good teacher, more a good student and conqueror and leader and love-maker and he was getting off topic again. He needed to adhere to his partner’s needs first. Skylar wasn’t very coordinated, and putting them so closely together, before even teaching him the steps, would only cause him to be confused and flustered.
“I’m not doing this right,” Lex revealed, and he put his hand on his hip, looking his boyfriend up and down. “I need to show you the Eight before we can talk about posture.”
Before even waiting for a reply to what he just said, (he didn’t expect Skylar to know what the Eight even meant) he grabbed the boy’s hand and pulled them to be side by side, facing the same direction.
“Bend your knees,” Lex instructed softly, bending his own to show him. “This dance is all about fluidity and staying loose. You can’t be sexy while stiff.”
His eyes widened to the size of dinner plates as he realized what he had just said. He chose to ignore it and hope that the inventor wouldn’t realize like he did. He held the boys hand as they did the Eight. Lex wondered about the ramifications of teaching Sky the woman’s part, or if the inventor would be offended, but decided it was the only way he could learn. There was no way that Skylar could lift Lex, and Lex had to allow himself the pleasure of seeing Skylar try Ochos, or the hip swivels.
“Okay, your part goes: forward left, side right,” Lex showed him, doing the parts with him, and talking as slowly an as evenly as he could. This was a tricky part to the tango, and he wanted to be sure to teach him right. “Back left, right, cross left in front, back right, side left, close.”
This was the slowest he had ever done this dance, and his calves were already starting to burn from him being on the balls of his feet. He decided it would be prudent to ask the inventor what he thought, and ask if he wanted to do it again, even slower.
“How was that? Okay? We can take it even slower if you need.” He smiled a sultry smile and moved his hips a bit to loosen his knees. “There is no rush.” words;; 948 tag;; skylar/lex status;; complete notes;; smex and dancing. great stuff. wearing;; CLICK lyrics;; "Without You" by Breaking Benjamin credit;; i.forgive.you @ CAUTION 2.0

And even if you don't danceI've got to get you out and take this chance So yeah, there were a few things that Skylar needed to work on. One of them was picking up innuendos, and another was coordination. Both of which were working against him at the moment seeing as he had missed what Lex had meant completely. Ah well, he figured that he could just explain it quite easily, but apparently not. Seeing as he got a look and Sky blinked before moving a bit closer. Now, he had understood that much he thought, but what on Earth was Lex planning? Somehow the younger boy looked a bit annoyed at the prospect of having to explain, and he hoped that Lex would forgive Sky for that. So some might run away from that look, but Sky knew him well enough to know he wasn't exactly irritated at him, just thought he was a bit dense. Which, honestly, he would admit that he was. Then Lex placed a rather deep kiss on his lips and Sky felt himself kissing the other boy back. When the former conqueror pulled back and started to breath heavily into his collarbone, Sky turned scarlet. So yeah, he had slightly clued in, especially now that Lex was placing kisses and love bites all over his neck. It felt rather nice and Skylar found himself wishing that the other boy would continue kissing him. Hearing the statement, Sky blushed more and gave him a playful glare. The bite made him give out a bit of a squeak and hearing the next comment he found himself pulling Lex a bit closer. "You....could make it a little more clear." he teased before nuzzling the boy's shoulder. Hey, if Lex was going to stand there and bite him, he wasn't going to just let him without doing something back. Though he felt the need to get him while he least expected it rather than now when he probably did. It wouldn't surprise him if he didn't expect Skylar to do anything though, being that he was rather terrible at romance. Hey, he would definitely bite back eventually, he'd just wait and time it correctly.
Now though, it was quiet in the room, and he wondered how Lex planned to teach him to dance without music. After all, didn't you need that to dance? Sure he supposed they could without, but it would just be weird he thought. Then Lex let him go and Sky had to keep himself from pouting at this. He placed his hands inside his pockets while he blushed quite a bit at the thought of sleeping with Lex. After all, the other boy had made it quite clear that those were the intentions of 'maybe', and thus he couldn't get the thought out of his head now. Which meant he would definitely not stop blushing until that thought disappeared. Which, honestly, it probably wasn't going to do so any time soon. Ah well, he would just deal with it and worry about if it actually happened when it was about to. Hearing the request for music, Edison was dragged from his thoughts and blinked at Lex. Well, obviously they had the same thought process of it was hard to dance without music to keep tempo. The request of something slow made him think for a moment. Did he have anything slow? Well, if not he could just download something easily enough. He walked over to his computer and woke it up before looking through his music list. He found one that was an instrumental and it was decently slow. Sure it picked up in a few parts, but hey it was the best he could do. So he clicked it and put it on repeat before walking back over to Lex. "Does this work?" he asked simply, hoping that it would. After all, they could still skip the dancing. Which, currently, the genius would be perfectly fine with that. Though he was pretty sure Lex was set on teaching him to dance. Which meant if he didn't at least start to learn now then he would probably make him do so at some other time. And at that time they may not have empty rooms, which meant it would happen in front of roommates quite possibly.
Anyway, he was dragged from his thoughts again when Lex started talking. He blinked when he was looked up and down and found himself blushing again. "What?" he managed to say while his hand was grabbed and he was pulled beside Lex. Well, obviously he didn't intend on explaining this time, and so he assumed it was going to be part of the dance. Obediently he bent his knees and heard them both crack and he sighed a bit. Well, at least they weren't stiff or anything like that anymore. Then Lex had to say you couldn't be sexy while stiff and felt himself blushing even more than he already had been. Seemed that he hadn't meant it though judging by the look on his face. Though it seemed they would be continuing like it never happened because Lex moved on to more of the dance and Skylar copied as best as he could. At least he was trying, and he hadn't fallen over yet, though when they did the actual dance would be another story entirely. So yeah, he managed to stumble his way through the next part and sighed a bit. Obviously you needed coordination to do this dance, and that was something he definitely didn't have. Hearing the next comment he debated on how to answer. He really didn't want to continue dancing quite honestly. It was probably not going to be something he would ever be good at. Thus he was quite tempted to give up and see if they could try something else. Instead of just saying that though he moved rather close to Lex and kissed him rather passionately. He broke off the kiss so that he could nibble on the former conqueror's neck with a bit of a grin on his face. This, was pretty much revenge for what Lex had done earlier, and the inventor figured it was about time for some payback. Pulling back he left his arms wrapped around Lex and nuzzled him a bit. "Dancing is difficult, and I will never be good at it." he admitted while holding himself rather close to the other boy. So maybe this was a bit of a cheating way to get the dance lessons to stop, but it was the only way he could think of at the moment.

search for the answers i knew all alongi lost m y s e l f, we all fall downThat inventor was going to kill him. Lex could feel it in his bones as he held him at that moment. He was being nuzzled, and held, and oh, that felt nice. He was going to die, and there was nothing the inventor would do to help. Hell, the kid was the one who was causing the trouble in the first place. Lex hadn’t held some one in this way for longer than he wanted to admit. His pride told him that it was his choice to be suddenly celibate. But it wouldn’t be a lie to say that more than a few parts of him were…blue because of it.
And now there was a perfectly soft, and thin, and beautiful being in his arms, and part of him was snarling to take what he wanted using any means necessary. He was wanting and wanting and wanting. And his pride and his ego told him to charm until his eyes rattled. But nothing he wanted would cause him to ruin anything with Skylar, so he tried to behave. He really did. He didn’t want to smarm the genius into bed. Anyone looking into his brain would have been surprised that he had not tackled the genius onto the nearest bed and ravished him until morning. Even Lex himself was severely surprised. It wasn’t like him to hold back his feelings so completely. Nothing could be less romantic to Lex than false sincerity. That and being walked in on.
The dancing was…cute to see. His poor inventor was so uncoordinated. It looked as if he was trying to foxtrot instead. The boy was so thin, and his hips were non-existent. Lex had to admit that it was usually very attractive to him that Skylar was so skinny. But in this situation, hips and fluidity was key. There was nothing fluid about the poor genius. It was sad and adorable and perfect. Lex loved every second of it. At least he hadn’t tripped or stepped on Lex’s foot. Not saying that he wouldn’t in the future. It was adorable in every sense, but he was curious to see how that would affect…other aspects of their night together. He could see that Skylar was not interested at all in the dancing; just by the way he was looking at him. And then there was the whole kissing thing. If that wasn’t a huge signal that Skylar was done with the tango, then Lex didn’t know what was. Truth be told, the world conqueror was a bit dazed. He had never been kissed that way before, and he was instantly attentive to what ever Sky wanted to do with or to him.
The bite didn’t help either. With that little nibble, Lex growled deep in his chest, and he could feel it reverberate through his chest to the inventor. He tugged Skylar flush to his body, every inch of their fronts touching. It was intoxicating to feel Sky’s heartbeat against his own chest. This was it. Was it? Or wasn’t it? Lex was nervous enough. This would be his first time with a guy. His first time doing anything with a guy. He had no idea what to do, what not to do. He knew the basics, and the things that helped things along. But that was it. And he was sure that Skylar had less experience than he did.
“Wait, wait, wait,” Lex muttered, pulling the older boy closer to him, and inhaling the smell of his hair, kissing his brow. “Hold up. Are you sure about this?”
He gestured to the way they were wrapped around each other. He was flushed now, and there was an obvious desire in his eyes. But he was a little bit shy in the way he looked at his boyfriend. This was dangerous territory. Territory that you couldn’t just cross the line into and then leave like you were attempting a breaking and entering. Some things once done couldn’t be undone.
“I don’t mind stopping,” he said dutifully. There was something in his slacks that made it difficult for him to say it without it being a tiny bit of a lie. Then again, he didn’t think that he would be the one who would be hurting in the morning. In more ways than one.
First times are strange and difficult. First kisses can be electrifying or disappointing or enlightening. First night spent together can be romantic or nerve-wracking or heated or full of promise. Losing your virginity can be destructive. It can change the way you view your entire life. It could change the way Skylar viewed Lex. And there was nothing that Lex would regret more, than to do something to the older boy that would scar his life forever. Though both of them were big boys, and they both could make their own decisions and decide to stop, Lex wanted to be sure. And he knew that if they were to continue, he wouldn’t be able to control himself or stay a gentleman.
“I dunno if you want to keep going or what,” Lex sighed, inhaling and exhaling softly and evenly. Anything to keep his heart and his mind and his hands and his groin in check. “But I can’t trust my hands for too much longer.”
As he said this, his hands went down the inventor’s waist to graze his butt very softly. Then he just as smoothly brought his hands back up to Skylar’s thin waist. words;; 915 tag;; skylar and cal status;; complete notes;; holy shiz....skylar aint beating around the bush....lol wearing;; at some point that nightCLICK lyrics;; "Without You" by Breaking Benjamin credit;; i.forgive.you @ CAUTION 2.0

And even if you don't danceI've got to get you out and take this chance Skylar knew he wasn't really playing fair here, but honestly he didn't care in the slightest. Though it seemed Lex was determined to make him dance anyway. Maybe he was nervous? Which, hell, Skylar was too. He certainly couldn't blame him for that, but they couldn't avoid it forever. Well, technically they could, but he certainly didn't want to. Also, he doubted Lex wanted to avoid it forever either. Which was why he had nuzzled Lex actually and held him close. It was nice, being held and holding someone in return. He hadn't done so since his first life, because honestly he'd never been interested in anyone during this life. Well, until now, and it had taken him forever to realize it too. Actually, it had taken the other boy kissing him a few times for him to realize it. Also, being loopy from blood loss probably helped quite a bit. Being that otherwise he probably wouldn't have kissed him as a way of finding out. Yeah, Skylar typically would have been much too awkward to do that, but he was half out of his mind so he didn't really care. Looking back though, it really wasn't a terrible idea being that it worked. Really, he had no other solutions as to how to figure out if you liked someone or not. Ah well, it was no longer an issue and here he was alone with said boy in his room. What were they doing though you may ask? Well, they were dancing, or attempting to do so. Definitely not what you would expect of a couple in a room alone. Though really that was his own fault. With how awkward the situation was it was the only thing Skylar could think of to say. If he hadn't he doubted Lex would have tried to teach him. So thus he was going to blame himself for that one. Ah well, this was a good way to at least let them both calm down and think about the other possibilities.
So yeah, Skylar was not graceful in the slightest. Sure he could be coordinated, but he was definitely thinking about other things and quite embarrassed at the moment. Thus, all his coordination went out the window. Hey, at least his burn was mostly healed, that was one less thing to worry about. He even had taken the bandages off of it now. It would probably leave another scar, but whatever it was no big deal. He certainly had several already, and a few more wouldn't make a difference one way or another. Most of them were hard to see, but a few didn't heal quite right and were more noticeable. Those were the ones that were hard to take care of because they were hard to reach for whatever reason. Anyway, he was stuck attempting to learn how to dance. Which, really he was terrible at it. Especially being that this was the girl's part, he thought so anyway, and thus you probably needed hips. Which, being a guy, he didn't really have. Sure some guys got girly hips, but he was not one of those guys. Ah well, nothing to be done about that, though he did hope Lex was willing to give up soon. Seeing as he was definitely quite done with dancing. After all, it wasn't that exciting, and he was calmed down enough to be sure of what he was doing. He would give it that much, it was a good way to clear your head seeing as it gave you something else to concentrate on rather than just jumping into something that could be very stupid. Which, he had finally decided, it wouldn't be stupid. Though he should probably put some sort of note on the door so his roommates didn't walk in or something. Being that it would be rather awkward to explain. Especially being that he wasn't sure how Aiden would react. Fox...probably couldn't care less, but the other roommate he didn't know well enough to figure out how he would react to walking in on such a thing.
Thus, he had kissed Lex quite passionately, and knew he caught the other boy's attention with it. After all, how could he not? Then he gave a little nibble on Lex's neck, which was his version of revenge for how he had bit him earlier. Seemed Lex had a bit of a different reaction with the growl. He wondered if that was an indication to stop, but then he was pulled closer and looked up at Lex. The inventor blushed quite a bit as he was pulled closer and Lex said wait. Did that mean that the other boy didn't want to? He felt the kiss and nuzzled Lex's chest once more. Then looked up at him and could tell something was on his mind. What was it? Then he asked if Skylar was sure and the inventor blushed a little more. He had a feeling that the other boy didn't want to stop, after all it was kinda easy to tell with how close they were. Sky placed another kiss on Lex's neck and nuzzled the spot after wards. He knew what would happen if he agreed, and couldn't think of any reason not to. The dancing had given him time to clear his head, and thus now he was pretty sure on the matter. Sure he knew the risks of if he changed his mind later, being that there wasn't really any going back, but he didn't think he would regret it. Hearing that Lex couldn't trust his hands for too much longer, Sky blushed quite a bit more, especially when his hands moved down. "I'm sure...." he said blushing bright red. Then he remembered about making a sign. Releasing himself from Lex's hold, he scribbled a quick note and taped it on the outside of the bedroom door before shutting it and moving a chair in front of it. There, now they wouldn't be walked in on, or well someone would have to be pretty determined to do so. Once that was done, he walked back over to Lex and wrapped his arms around the other boy's neck before kissing him. Though he certainly wasn't going to be making the first move that was for sure. Yeah, not quite that confident in what he was doing. Sure he'd nibble on and kiss the other boy, but nothing more unless Lex made the first move.
