Even when you're wrong, you're Wright. =P
The park sounds good then.
Well, yes and no. Her registered name is Marshmallow, but everyone calls her Lump, and she repsonds to it. And yes...she is very large, so if she does try and fetch you, she will fetch you.

Funny how that happens sometimes with dogs. Always thought my brother naming his dog Flyer was fitting, if not a bit confusing. After all, when you're talking about your flying machine with guests, how are they to know whether you're referring to the dog or the airplane? =P[/blockquote]

Well, she is a bit squishy. If she doesn't squish you, first. =P
Name the plane Dog? Then there's nothing to worry about...kind of. XD I suppose you should have uncovered a nickname for the dog.

Name the plane Dog? See, to me that would just make things more confusing...though, that would be fun to watch. Should have suggested that to Will. Oh well, there's always life number two! I had a Lump of my own back in the day. His name was Scipio, and he was a St. Bernard. I think he might have been able to give Lump a run for her money, lol. As we, who appear in the history books in our past lives, discuss dogs. I think anyone who chanced upon this conversation would be highly amused, and rightfully so. XD[/blockquote]

I'd suggest better names in this life.
I doubt it. Lump's very tall. As far as mass is considered, yes, but height? Probably not. She's taller than me when she goes on her hind legs.
Indeed they would be XD Moreso considering I considered dogs unclean and not to be kept as pets in the past life.

It was just a terrible name given the circumstances. Now, planes are rarely referred to as Flyers unless we're specifically refering to 'back in the day'. Therefore, naming a dog Flyer wouldn't be anywhere near as inconvenient and confusing. ...I put way too much thought into that, didn't I? Well, it looks like Lump won you over this time around. Yes, you did put way too much thought into it. = P All I have to say is that for you and Wilbur, it may still be confusing, given you two coined the name Flyer for something other than a dog.
Not Lump, actually. Her dad, King, was my mother's first dog, who she bought as a guard when we first moved to Riverdale. Initially I was fond of him only as a guard - we used dogs for guards and hunters, but NOT ever pets back then, but he grew on me.
That and my faith hasn't retained itself, exactly.

Lump didn't look that old when I saw her, though it's hard to tell sometimes with dogs. How do you mean?[/blockquote]

Whatever flies your plane, Orville XD
She's four and a half, so not too old, even for a great dane. The biggest the dog, the faster they age, after all.
Well, on the small scale, I'm nowhere near as religious as I once was. On a whole scale, Islam's been misinterpreted, soiled, and spat on by believers and non-believers alike. It makes me want to kill babies. Most "rules" and shit that's here today WASN'T EVER how it was supposed to be! It's not right! We freaking invented algebra, and now it's all "western science and evil" that theocracies like to spew! WE INVENTED ALGEBRA. WITHOUT THAT, YOU CANNOT MAKE PLANES. THAT FLY. AND NOW LOOK WHERE WE ARE.
Excuse me.

I and my brother. Somehow I have a feeling that wasn't supposed to be taken literally, though. =P Certainly, although it's rather unfortunate. I...can understand your frustration. That seems to be the nature of religion, though. This coming from a bishop's son, of all things. Though that was in my first rodeo, so to speak...a lot has changed in the world since then, for you, for me, for every reincarnate. It's both exciting and frustrating. I love the technology, but I don't like some of the more dangerous uses for certain technologies. It's a catch 22, really.[/blockquote]

Uhm...no. Not quite literally, my friend xP
No, see, you don't quite understand. Yes, the plane is used for warfare. But you didn't campaign your entire life fighting, and finally, just in the end of your life, negotiate peace. Then you croak and realize all of it has been undone by a factor ten thousand by the time you're ten years old again. It would be like the plane suddenly lost any commercial or personal appeal and is now used only for dropping warheads on people, and you have radiation poisoning in this life because of it.

I wasn't only referring to my invention in that commentary, although I can see why you reverted to that. XD The only thing I can suggest is using your experience from before to your advantage and trying to make a difference. It's a terrible situation, to be sure, and both you and I know you can't fix everything, but you can at least try to do your part.[/blockquote]

I intend to, to some extent, but fuck them all. I did my part. I did my part long ago. I'll do it again, but fuck them. How am I supposed to make anything better if they work against themselves? I do it for the civilians, but the combatants? Sometimes I wish I could be a sultan again. Then I'd put everything in it's place and fix it, but given that autocratic rule is now frowned upon....meh.
It's a mess.
But we still came up with algebra! =D

I think it all depends on who is in power, really. The unfortunate truth is that autocratic rule tends to be most prevalent nowadays amongst tinpot dictators, and no one particularly wants them in power. However, we're all afraid to do anything about it, lest we start World War 3. Having lived through two World Wars, I can certainly say that I wouldn't want to see a third one. Yes, you still came up with algebra, which enabled Will and I to make our plane. That flew. =P[/blockquote]

Civilians being killed is old news. It was old new 900 years ago. =P
Everyone says ww3 would be awful. And it would. But I don't agree that it would be terrible and violent and bloody. Nope. It would be short. One bomb, two bombs, then some more and everyone's dead in a matter of days. MAD. Mutual assured destruction. As far as a war goes, it would be quick and no one's left to feel the pain, but that's even worse than the alternative.
Well, not me, but my people. =]
