I would say so too.
It did give you cover and she's recovered well from what I see, though you have more insight on it than I do.
She'd slaughter you. The only game with multiplayer thus far takes place in the same century she lived in, though Italy, not France. Nice try.
As for building things, not really. You can "rebuild" by buying and upgrading things, but you don't build a thing. If you want a building game, buy Spore, for your PC. It'll entertain Darwin in the early levels, and you in the later ones.

It was worth a shot, at least. She still has a phobia of flying. Mentioning hang gliding to her resulted in her blowing up at me. Still, at least she can look at a plane now without having a panic attack. Hmm, Spore? I think I've heard of that. A game that both Darwin and I (and likely Will) can enjoy? I may have to purchase that one. Darwin ends up using my PC for the most part anyway, so I'll definitely look into it.[/blockquote]

At least she's making progress?
Spore. You start as a single-cell, then evolve up into sentinence. You design the creature and it's disposition, which Darwin will like. Once the creature is sentinent, it builds a tribe, then civilization, then goes into space. From the civilization and up, you design vehicles, planes, buildings, boats, and spaceships.

Just makes me wish I could do something more for her. ...that sounds absolutely awesome. I'll definitely let Darwin know about this if he doesn't know already. And even if it doesn't strike his fancy...the first part of the game doesn't sound too bad to me either. =) Of course, I prefer building things, but at least it's not Call of Duty. [/blockquote]

It's pretty good. The combat is quite rudimentary, but I like the game concept. TAKE OVER THE UNIVERSE! ... Yeah, I'm not in it for building things as much as conquering... ehehehe.

Sounds like there's something for everyone in this game. Fun with creatures for Darwin, building objects for us inventor and scientist types, and combat for the warrior types. This should definitely be brought up in the RSOR room...that is, if we can ever go up there again. [/blockquote]

Jerusalem is mine!!!!!!
And there really is something for everyone. You can even play the game as a total pacifist, a scientist, a shaman, party-people....just about any archetype you can think of.
As for the rsor room, who knows?

I'm just saying, try telling that to the people who are currently occupying the region. I don't think they'll take too kindly to it, somehow. Party people? Really? There's something in it for party people? Even something for, dare I say it, Bonnie Parker? Well, it served as a boost into gear for work on that fingerprint scanner... [/blockquote]

I don't care. It's still mine.
Yes and no. They can be "party-people" but it's an E-rated game and you still have to build, fight, and evolve...would Bonnie bother?
xD That's true. Best make good of it somehow.

Depends on if there would be something in it for her, I'd say. It's really frustrating to not be able to go in there, though. I can do work in my dorm but I think I'm starting to get on Darwin's nerves even more than usual. Not that he's said anything, and I may not be, but I know I'd be getting on my nerves if I were him. Ideas keep coming to me in the middle of the night, I can't help it! I think I'm getting overly antsy. [/blockquote]

There's nothing in it for her. You can get to the center of the universe as a goal, but it's a sandbox game.
Just ask him if you are? You could always ask to work on it at the top of the stairs for a bit, I'm not sure exactly.

I see her losing interest fairly easily. Top of the stairs might be a little too visible if anyone should come up. Plus I've left some of my tools in the RSOR room in the first place. Didn't quite think we'd be left to fend for ourselves for a length of time. [/blockquote]

I doubt she'd play at all. It's the 4th stage that gives you the archtype, and you must play the first 3 stages a certain way to get a certain archetype. She'd quit.
Then I suggest that you put it on hold, despite the situation, and come fly a kite with me sometime.

Yes, she'll definitely quit. So long as I can play around with the designs a bit. Kite flying isn't fun unless you play around with the kites yourself. Well, at least for me, though I'm perhaps a tad biased. [/blockquote]

Personally, I just like to fly them. Bonus points if they're deadly in my books, but if you want to emulate the Wright brothers, Oliver, go Wright ahead. xD
Yeah, Isa's jokes rubbed off on me.
