Oliver Winchester, formerly known as Orville Wright, was boldly going where no boy had gone before. ...well, not really. He was pretty sure that Bonnie and Clyde got up to their antics somewhere on school property. Not to mention that he'd been invited into female students' dorms before. He was recruited in one, in fact. This was one that he had yet to step foot into, which was rather surprising when one considered who inhabited it. Namely one Cindy Winchester, Oliver's current sister and the target of a prank by her younger brother. The younger Winchester sibling was currently ambling around the dorm, which was devoid of all of its usual inhabitants. Cindy, thankfully, was not around, and nor were Deirdre or Kass. Not that he minded either of them, but he had the strong feeling that either girl would inform his sister of what he was up to, and then this whole adventure would be for naught. The plan was simple enough - Wilbur was to leave the door unlocked as he was the last one to leave the dorm behind Cindy. Then Oliver could sneak in later on without a problem. Now, Oliver had no clue if Wilbur had kept up to his end of the deal or if it was just a coincidence, but the door was most definitely unlocked by the time the fifteen year old freshman arrived. The plan was simple - Well, simple if you were Oliver Winchester, which wasn't saying much. Oliver was in the process of hooking up strings around the room to a couple of various objects. When Cindy went to open the door, she would hopefully be captivated by the sight of her favorite stuffed animal soaring into the air a few inches. Then, she'd hopefully take a step forward, where a pillow lodged just above the doorjam would become loose as Cindy stepped on the trigger and fall, hitting Cindy over the head with it. It seemed absolutely perfect. Oliver had just set up the pillow and was admiring his handiwork when he heard the door open. Unfortunately, the teenager in question was not his sister. Fortunately, his trap seemed to work in just the way that he wanted it to. First the stuffed animal went rising into the air, triggered by the change in string length...and then the pillow came tumbling down off of the top of the doorframe and on to the unsuspecting head of the girl entering the dorm. The reincarnated inventor looked at Kass, grinning sheepishly. Well, she hadn't been his intended target, but it was still somewhat amusing nonetheless. However, he felt that something else was needed... "Congratulations, you just served as the test subject for my latest prank. Feels like something's missing, though. Any ideas?" The freshman commented, trying to ignore the fact that he was actually quite embarrassed. Sounded like an easy task, but it wasn't quite so easy when Oliver's face was betraying him by turning a shade of pink. At least Kass wasn't a normal, though. That would make Oliver far more uncomfortable. Word count: 519 To: Cal/Kass Notes: ...wow. -Pokes post- I feel like this kinda sucked. My apologies.

So Kass had gone out for the day since she needed to do some shopping along with a few other minor errands. Nothing important and so she had been putting it off for a while before deciding to finally do it all today. Which, the errands had certainly piled up at this point so she spent longer than originally planned doing things. Oh well, she didn't mind too much seeing as it kept her from just laying around her dorm doing nothing. Seeing as her roommates had other things to do too today. Obviously it was just one of those days to go out and do things. Probably because it wasn't too bad of a day out and being cooped up all winter was taking it's toll now that the sun was finally warming things up. It was finally spring after all and might as well take advantage of any time that it wasn't pouring down rain seeing as it did tend to do that in the spring quite a bit. Also, they would have to go back home in the summer probably so thus might as well take advantage of the weather in the location they were in while they could. New York wasn't exactly known for it's nice weather after all. It was more north so it wasn't as warm, and miss Kass certainly liked the warm over the cold. She was definitely glad she didn't have to spend most of the winter in New York. That would have made her a very unhappy Cleopatra that was for sure.
Anyway, she was about done with her errands so she decided to head back to her dorm to drop stuff off before finding something to do. What exactly she should do had not occured to her yet, but she would figure something out soon enough. Maybe one of her roommates would be back and they could chill in the dorm or go to the park for a bit, or maybe she'd find someone to hang out with on the way back. There was always, of course, the option of hopping online or texting people to figure out plans as well. Seeing as she certainly didn't want to lay about her dorm by herself staring at a wall or pretending to study. Even pretending to study bored her to death and so she'd probably end up falling asleep on the book if that happened. For whatever reason she just didn't find school interesting most of the time. That didn't mean she failed, she just didn't take any interest in it. She certainly wished it took up less of her day being that she felt that being there for as long as she was wasted the day away. Oh well, at least she had the RSOR as a fun activity in school, she'd definitely met some interesting people through it, and discovered that she wasn't the only one reincarnated. Which was a relief because it meant she wasn't crazy. Though she was pretty sure a few of the reincarnates were actually crazy, but that was a thought she didn't want to get into at the moment.
So she returned to her dorm and when she opened the door she was definitely confused as to why a stuffed animal was floating up and then she was hit with a pillow. It was a few moments later that she noticed Oliver and she eyed him before setting down her stuff and picking up the pillow. "Now, now naughty boy sneaking into a girls dorm. Tsk tsk I should punish you for that." she teased him before walking over and whapping him with the pillow that was now in her hands. He had called her a test subject for a prank, and she was guessing the pillow shot was meant for his sister. "I don't know what's missing, but you need a way to make sure it hits the correct target that is for sure." she noted and giggled a bit at how pink he was turning. "Why so embarrassed Oliver? Go through something you shouldn't have?" she asked teasing him a bit before hitting him with the pillow again. She certainly hope he didn't go through any of their stuff, but she doubted he did. Probably spent most of the time setting up the prank knowing him. She imagined he hadn't been there for long, or if he had she wondered what he could have gotten up to, so she'd tease him about it and maybe she would get some real answers in a sneaky way. ------------- words: 796 Tag: Mandee/ Oliver note: Bad Kass. When putting a bit of thought into it, Oliver was happy that Kass had entered the room and not his sister or Deirdre. He didn't know Deirdre well enough to know how the redhead would respond to his prank befalling her, and he just wasn't sure if this prank was ready for his sister yet. He wanted to give only the best to her, although he had to admit that he also wanted to be there to see her reaction. Not to mention he still felt as though something was missing...perhaps he needed to make more things float up in the air? He was limited on what he could use, though - For one, he didn't want too many strings trailing around the room (that would increase his chance that the strings would be spotted before he wanted them to be, and that was unacceptable), and two, the strings couldn't really hold much. A stuffed animal, yes. Her diary, which was another consideration on his part, would likely be too heavy. Oliver was not surprised at all when Kass had a pillow thwacking waiting for him. It seemed to be their preferred form of greeting, and it was Kass throwing a pillow at him in the RSOR room that led to the Great Pillow War of 2010. Plus, well, it was only fair. Eye for an eye sort of thing. He'd hit her with a pillow (albeit accidentally), and thus she was getting him back for it. "True...that's something I didn't put into too much consideration. Need to make sure that this actually hits Cindy, but how? I guess I could do a bit of planning with Wilbur..." And with Kass, really, to make sure that Cindy was the one who walked in the room just at the right time, but there remained an unknown variable in the form of the third roommate. What if she turned up willy-nilly and messed up the prank? Oliver looked contemplative as this thought passed through his head...along with the fact that he wasn't sure if Kass would run along and tell his sister what to expect now. Kass could be cool, but she was also good friends with his older sister, and he wouldn't be surprised if they told each other pretty much everything. When Kass asked him if he'd gone through anything, he snorted. "Oh yes, I went through the underwear drawer. No thanks, I'm not Xelios, I'm not interested in my sister's undergarments." The jab at Xelios was just too good to resist. He wasn't interested in the undergarments of Kass or Deirdre either. Now Lenita... Well, carrying on. Oliver took a seat on his sister's bed. "And I've already read her diary ages ago...I know there's probably some new developments, but I'm not sure if I want to stumble upon them." How awkward would it be to look through his sister's journal entry only to see his past brother's name written in little hearts or something? Or worse, vivid descriptions of make-out sessions or whatever else they'd gotten up to. No, Oliver was happy not knowing the details of that, thank you very much. Oliver was probably actually rather lucky that Kass had walked in. She doubted that the other two girls would find it even remotely amusing and would probably want to swat at Oliver. Which, she did on a regular basis anyway so it was nothing new. Besides, he had hit her with a pillow so it was fair game to hit him with a pillow. Though she had to say, for Oliver being as smart as he is, you would think he would have factored in the fact that there were three girls at the dorm and any of them could walk in at any time. Or the fact that, while a bit of a creative prank, he could do better. She knew he could do better, mostly because she knew he was Orville Wright. Which, you had to be rather creative to be able to come up with an airplane. Or, at least Kass thought you had to be. Had to come up with a design somehow. They didn't just appear magically after all. So thus it was probably good that Kass had been a test run. Sure it was a bit of a surprise, but there was definitely better pranks to be had. Don't get Kass wrong, she was pretty much best friends with Oliver's sister, but it would just be too funny of an opportunity to pass up. Besides, she could always say she had him over for a pillow fight and he set it up just because it would be fun. Sure Cindy might get a little mad, but she could always get the boy back. After all she was, in all rights, dating his brother who also happened to be his roommate. Just get Wilbur to set something up as a prank against Oliver in their room. That might cause an all out prank war, but it would be amusing as hell to watch that was for sure.
So thus she gave Oliver the standard greeting of hitting him with a pillow then hit him again for hitting her with a pillow. After all, he definitely deserved it this time, and even he would have to admit that. He did start it this time, and of course she would have to finish it. Hearing his statement she just shook her head. "Getting sloppy in your old age. Not only did you forget about the fact that two other people that weren't Cindy could walk in, it's not even that creative of a prank. My my, you're loosing your touch." she teased him with a playful smirk. Maybe that would motivate him to do better, or maybe it would just make him irritated. Either way, it was going to be fun for miss Cleopatra. Besides, even if it didn't motivate him to do better, it would still be funny to watch his flustered reaction. Hearing the comment about not being interested in his sister's undergarments, Kass raised an eyebrow. "If you were I'd take you for some counseling because that would be rather concerning. I meant anything of mine or Deirdre's fruit bloop." she said with a roll of her eyes. Yes, she did just call him a fruit bloop, and no she didn't care if that was possibly not even a word. She was going to call him it anyway, and he would just have to deal with it. Besides, there were worse things she could call him, and hell if she wanted to she could insult him in a variety of different languages. Would make no difference to her, and she definitely knew more than enough languages. She was the reincarnation of Cleopatra after all, and to add to her list of languages she knew English this time around too.
Kass took a seat on a bean bag chair that she had thrown in the room while Oliver sat on his sister's bed. She was guessing he knew it was hers because he recognized what was on it. Hearing his next statement of not knowing if he wanted to know what was new in her diary, Kass giggled. "Too creepy to read that your older sister made out with your past life brother?" she teased with a grin. Kass wasn't sure if that was written in there or not, but hell she could even tell Oliver things that his past brother and current sister had done because the girl was her roommate and friend so thus was told things. "Though either way you should never read a girl's diary, especially not your sisters. It's where a girl can release all her thoughts to a non existing party and not be judged for them. It's rude to read such personal thoughts. It's even worse to use those thoughts against them in any way." she said eying him a bit. No boy should ever read a girl's diary. Hell, nobody other than the girl writing it should ever read it. That was kind of the point of it honestly. So that they could get their feelings out without being judged. Kass didn't have one, not anymore at least. She'd burned it so nobody would know about her being Cleopatra. There were a few close calls when friends had tried to open it out of curiosity. Thus, she decided it was better to not have it at all and threw it in a bonfire. Sure maybe that was a little drastic, but that was one way to make sure nobody read it. Especially not her nosy parents, seeing as she was almost positive they would have tried to read it to see what she was up to and if she was doing anything bad. She really hated that, parents shouldn't be allowed to punish children for things they write in their diary. After all it was supposed to be filled with secrets, and invading someone's privacy like that was just wrong. No matter who you were it was still wrong. ------------- words: 1025 Tag: Mandee/ Oliver note: first she doesn't want to be wordy then she spews words everywhere. Make up your mind Kass --;

Oliver wasn't 100% sure that his sister would not be amused. Sure, Cindy would probably swat at him at first, but then she'd smirk a devilish smirk and then try to get back at Oliver in some way when he least expected it. She would likely go through with it as well - That was just the way Cindy operated, and the way that he operated as well. Still, it was probably best that he'd decided against another bug oriented prank. Somehow, that seemed as though it would be just asking for trouble in a dorm filled with girls. The fifteen year old's feathers were ruffled a bit by Kass' teasing, but the girl's words also carried out their other intended purpose. Oliver knew that the prank was lacking something anyway, and these words only served to confirm it. "I know, it's missing something. And it's not like I can make out that a ghost is making things hover around in her room...I did that with Bonnie a few days ago. Tied a string to one of Isa's rosaries to make it float in the air when Bonnie came out the door, then used a voice changer and a speaker to make her think that the voice was coming from nowhere. Cindy would know better though, I'd think." He was not about to short Cindy the credit that she deserved. That was why this prank involved only a few seconds of a suspension of disbelief before a pillow came out and beaned her on the head. The fact remained that it was still missing something though! This was going to drive Oliver nuts until he thought of something. Maybe put something on the pillow left on her bed? That would require her not to look down at the pillow before she laid down, though, and also that he put down something that would dry up. Therefore, paint was out, as much as Oliver thought that would be a treat. Not to mention paint might stain her face, and Oliver didn't want that, as hilarious as it would be. He wasn't in the mood for anything really harmful. Maybe he could text Wilbur and tell him to keep Cindy out late. That way when she came back to the dorm she'd be extremely tired and probably won't take a second look at her pillow before hitting the hay. Oliver grinned. That actually wasn't so bad an idea. Oliver pulled out his phone and began to text Wilbur - Only to hear Kass call him a fruit bloop. "Fruit bloop? I've heard of fruit loop, but fruit bloop is a new one." He finished up his text and then made for the bathroom. There was another idea as well...putting something on the toilet seat. Unfortunately, he figured that it was too late for that. He'd already texted his past brother to tell him to keep Cindy out late. He couldn't keep going back and forth or Cindy might recognize that something was up with the constant change of plans. Oliver came back from the bathroom with a can of shave cream that he knew to be his sister's (or, well, hoped was his sister's - it was the same kind she used at home, after all). As he returned, he caught what Kass was saying about his past brother and current sister and raised an eyebrow. "Yes, I know it happens. No, I don't want to read about it in detail." He wasn't even sure if he wanted to acknowledge that it happened, but he knew that he had to at some point. This whole prank was able to go into effect because Cindy was on a date with Wilbur. That was acknowledging what was happening between them in the most simple of ways, though Oliver wasn't sure if he would ever be able to picture the two of them making out (...or worse) without feeling massively awkward. At least not at this point. Oliver snorted when Kass gave him the lecture. "I believe she was eight or nine the last time I read her diary. I could barely understand what I was reading. If I'd read her diary after that, I'm sure I would have connected the dots on the whole Harriet Quimby thing long before she told me." Well, it was true. Although that did make him extremely curious as to what lay within the pages now. But no. He need not be distracted from his prank, and besides, chances are he wouldn't like what was in there anyway. The physical fifteen year old began to spray down Cindy's pillow with shave cream. He also glanced down at the rest of her bed, wondering if he should perhaps coat her entire bed in shave cream. He stood, contemplative, at the bed while waiting for Kass to respond. Word count: 828 To: Cal/Kass Notes: I'm tempted to have her diary somehow accidentally fly open and Oliver to catch a glimpse of Cindy describe a makeout session with Nate now. XD
