Sometimes life was too much of a routine. Sometimes it could be so boring, that it was stressing.
Aiden hated that, he had never liked having to do the very same things over and over. It was like living the same day over and over again. He admitted that he missed Christian and Coralyn, he missed them a lot, but Christian was currently attending to an art academy, and Coralyn didn’t have the permission to come and visit. It made him a little bit homesick. No. Not a little bit—the expression didn’t even cover it. He was very, very homesick. He couldn’t help it.
At this moment he was in his new room, typing away on his laptop. He was having a little chat with his little sister via IM; it helped a little to kill his random homesickness. Though, eventually it was bound to come back. And once it did, it was going to be just worse, he knew it. Out of everyone in his family, it was his baby sister whom he missed the most. She had been the one who had listened to all of his rants about life in school, they had shared a common passion for videogames, and she had been the only one that he had trusted his secret to…
He missed her a lot. He couldn’t deny it.
He sighed and typed a quick goodbye on the window, before shutting his computer off. He hated feeling this way. It made him wish he was back in Florida with his family and puppy, it made him miss… it made him miss his other self’s wife, his Edith… his Lúthien… he sighed. It was hard to absorb the fact that he was not at home anymore. That it would be a really long time until the next holidays and henceforth, he couldn’t go home, not even for a few days. It made him really, really sad. Right now, he needed to stop stressing, and thinking of people whom he was aware that he’d not see anytime soon… it was just going to place unnecessary stress on his mind.
That didn’t sound too appealing.
Hoping to distract himself, he picked up his black book and started scribbling a few random verses. They came out a little flat and lifeless, and he let out a groan. Great, just great. Now he was homesick and blocked. Stupid stress… such a royal pain. He closed the book and placed it carefully under his bed, where it wouldn’t be seen by anyone. He didn’t quite know what to do now. He could probably do some homework, but that would just frustrate him even more.
He walked over to the shelf where he kept his old works. The most famous ones were placed on the corner. He didn’t actually read them much; but having them there… they were a slight inside joke, one only he would get. He chuckled to himself bitterly, not quite finding it as fun as he used to right now. He just wasn’t in the mood—for inside jokes, for writing, for nothing.
Another sigh escaped his lips as he picked his glass of water and took a small sip from it. He placed it upon his desk—and it fell off, shattering on the floor. He jumped at the sound of glass breaking and jumped off his bed, making him fall over, too.
…That was going to hurt tomorrow. A lot.

I’m on fire and now I think I'm ready to bust a moveCheck it out I’m rocking steady Being on the leader's panel for the RSOR and being on the school's technical squad took up a lot more time than he had originally planned for. Then again he hadn't exactly expected to make the leader's panel when he was recruited his freshman year. Nothing he could really do about it though, and besides it gave him a good excuse as to why he didn't have homework done. Which, he pretty much always did anyway, but still it gave him a reason. He was quite a busy person, and hardly had any time to relax. Sky couldn't complain too much though seeing as he did rather enjoy what he did. Besides, he didn't really like sitting around doing nothing anyway. Just wasn't in his nature, even if he was just sitting he was reading, or listening to music, or playing with something. Just one of those people who no longer knew how to sit still. He'd gotten so used to always doing things it was just a habit by this point. Didn't bother him in the slightest either, because he got quite a bit more done this way. He wasn't really one for procrastinating either, and so that helped considerably he figured. Seeing as if he procrastinated he would probably not get anything done, and would have no excuse for it. Also, he'd have so much more to do at one time. He liked only doing a few things when they came up rather than a bunch of things all at once. He knew a bunch of people didn't like doing that, but he had to plan everything out and keep it organized or else he would end up forgetting about something. Which was why he had a planner that he carried around with him, just so that didn't happen.
Speaking of which, he couldn't remember if he had anything else he had to do for the moment, so he pulled it out and took a peek at it. Well, it seemed he had an hour or so that was blank, so might as well go back to his dorm and maybe tinker with that stupid fingerprint scanner again. He was starting to get sick of it shocking him every time he tested it. He might have to enlist more help, but he probably couldn't ask the tech squad, the'd be too nosy about why the RSOR needed it, so thus that meant he should probably call up one of the Wright brothers. Or hell he could always just stop by their dorm seeing as they ended up in the same room by some astronomical coincedence. Well, he'd try it one more time and leave them a message about working on it all together if it happened again. Which, despite his technological genious, he couldn't seem to get it to function correctly. It scanned sure, but it also pretty much electrocuted you while doing so. Honestly he couldn't figure out why either. Just didn't make sense, but he probably had something in the wrong spot. What he really needed was a real one to compare it to, but if he was going to get a real one might as well just use it instead of building one. That would be rather expensive though, so that idea was out. Maybe he could borrow someone's laptop that had one. Not like he wouldn't be able to put it back together, and if he couldn't on his own he could always get a little help.
Anyway, it seemed for now he would be in his dorm for a bit, should probably eat something too before it got too late and he risked waking up a roommate or something. He was pretty sure they wouldn't appreciate him dropping things or swearing in French at all hours of the night trying to cook something simple. He opened his door to hear a crash and was rather confused for a moment, and then he heard a bit of a thud. Closing the door behind him, Sky walked over to where he heard the sound from and blinked a few times as he noticed broken glass and a blond boy on the floor. "Er, are you alright?" he questioned a bit confused as to what happened. He wasn't sure how the glass broke or how the boy fell over, but might as well see if he was alright. At least he was still wearing shoes, so he didn't have to worry too much about stepping on the glass so he walked over and started picking up the pieces. "I'm going to guess you're my roommate. I'm Skylar." he stated simply with a polite smile while he picked up more glass pieces. So yeah, Skylar had a bit of an accent, but he doubted that would matter much. Besides, he was easy enough to understand unless he was speaking in French. In which case there weren't that many that understood him, well except for several of the reincarnates that is. He had time, so might as well get to know his roommate a bit seeing as he would be technically living with him. Might as well learn a bit about the boy. That was only polite after all.

Lived and learnedfrom fools and from sages -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-Ow, ow ow...If he didn’t have a headache a few seconds ago, he did now. His vision blurred a little for a few seconds, making him a little bit dazed. He blinked blearily at the ceiling for a few minutes while he waited for everything to stop spinning. After a few seconds his vision cleared and the walls stayed where they should. Thank goodness. Aiden groaned a little and picked himself off the floor, finding himself sitting before another guy who had apparently just arrived. He rubbed the back of his head a little, wincing a little. ”Uhm, I’m okay. But that glass is not…”he mumbled, in a very, very bad attempt at deadpan humor. Heck, he wasn’t even inspired enough to be sarcastic. Just great. He looked around the room to look for a broom, and found nothing. ”Wait, I’ll help ya…”he picked up a few of the larger glass pieces and threw them into the empty recycle bin while he muttered something about not being able to pay attention and homesickness making him distracted. He cursed inwardly. He hated feeling homesick. It was… horrible. He nodded a bit at Skylar’s comment. ”Yeah, I’m your roommate. My name’s Aiden,”he looked down at the floor to make sure that there wasn’t any more glass, and sighed a little when he noticed there wasn’t. Problem solved. ”Sorry about the mess. I dropped the glass by accident. “ Aiden rolled his eyes at himself; it seemed he was having a lot of weird accidents lately. He’d accidentally thrown a ruler across his Math classroom and nearly gotten detention for that, despite his many attempts to explain that it hadn’t been his fault and he’d only been tapping it into the desk with it… before letting it slip from his fingers unintentionally and hitting the whiteboard. That had been too much of a fail for his first day. Luckily, one of his classmates had come to his defense and he’d been able to go just with a minor warning, but the experience had been really, really strange. He dropped down on his bed and slipped his black leather book from under the mattress. He snapped it open and looked down at it blankly. Nope, he still didn’t know what to write. Damn it. He sighed a little. Back then, it had been easy. As easy as breathing, even. To get ideas; to write… now it was really tough. Maybe it was his choice to detach himself from fantasy; which maybe, just maybe, was the genre that had been meant for him. He might have to attach to it yet again. Still, he found all the other genres too boring or otherwise predictable for his tastes, and all of his ideas for high epic fantasy all involved some other sort of adventure within the Middle Earth, and he couldn’t go on with that. People would have gotten suspicious of what… of who he was, or he would have gotten accused of plagiarism. He wasn’t particularly fond of that idea. No, not at all. ”Uhm, and… how long have you studied here?”he asked, wanting to make some conversation. He wasn’t really fond of speaking to people he didn’t know, but he was bored… and probably getting depressed. Making small talk seemed like a way to go, at least to kill some of the free time he had in his hands at the moment. He laid down on his bed and stared up at the ceiling blankly. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-You know it's trueAll the things come back to youWords! 582 Muse! Somebody to Love-Queen Notes! I’m on fire and now I think I'm ready to bust a moveCheck it out I’m rocking steady It seemed that the other boy was fine for the most part, but he probably bumped his head when he fell. Which, Sky couldn't imagine felt that great. He wasn't bleeding though so there wasn't much to worry about. The former inventer was pretty sure it wasn't that easy to get a concussion. Probably just had some head pain and maybe had a bit of a lump on his head. Nothing to really worry about. The human scull was pretty hard usually so unless this guy had some type of disorder it shouldn't matter. Besides, before long he had picked himself up and was making coherant sentences. It seemed to be an attempt at humor when the boy stated that the glass wasn't alright. Yeah, this glass is definitely beyond repair. he noted simply. Only thing that could possibly done with it was remelt it and form it into a new glass, but where he would be able to do that he didn't have the slightest idea. So might as well just recycle the glass and someone else would find something to do with it. Hearing the boy say he would help, Skylar just shrugged and dumped the pieces in his hand into the recycling bin. It was no big deal really, just so long as it did get picked up and wasn't left around the floor for someone to step on. Which, he didn't want to have to take himself or someone else to the emergency room because they got glass in their foot for being lazy. That was just stupid, it was better to do it now than to say they were going to do it later then end up forgetting about it. At least, that was Skylar's take on it. He did tend to forget about things if he procrastinated, which is why he wrote everything down and didn't procrastinate anymore.
Seemed that all the glass was picked up now, so Sky stood up and stretched a bit. He heard the boy introduce himself as Aiden and he gave a polite smile. "Nice to meet you." he said simply. Might as well be polite to someone he'd have to spend a considerable amount of time with. After all, he didn't want to have to worry about the boy doing things to mess with him if it turned out he didn't like him. So if he remained polite he figured the boy couldn't hate him too much, unless he, like Raven, was a reincarnated serial killer, but then there was nothing he could do about that. Though if he was polite to even Raven he doubted the guy would want to stab him too much. After all that was just unreasonable even for a serial killer. Anyway, that wasn't the point. Aiden was talking again, and Sky should really pay attention as to not seem like an airhead or a jerk. He just shrugged at the statement. "Don't worry about it, just don't make a habit of doing it or else we'll run out of glasses." he noted simply. Which was true due to the fact that they didn't have an unlimited number of glasses that just appeared out of nowhere. Nope, there was only a limited amount and if they ran out then somehow they would have to get more. Though Skylar certainly hoped that the boy didn't break all of them so that wouldn't happen. Seeing as then they wouldn't exactly get along being that Sky would get annoyed by the boy constantly breaking glasses and possibly other things. He doubted that was the case though. Especially seeing as he had stated that he dropped it on accident. There was no reason to lie about such a thing, but it was entirely possible, but then he wouldn't have had any reason to fall over either, instead he would have just watched the glass fall or something along those lines.
Hearing Aiden ask a question Skylar looked over at him. That was a pretty average question he supposed. Especially when you met a new roommate might as well learn how long you're going to have to deal with them. "I'm a senior, so this would be my fourth year here." he said simply. Skylar walked over and took a seat at his desk, which was a very well organized mess. Pieces of electronics covered pretty much the whole thing. There was only a little area that wasn't covered and that was presumably where he did homework. It was about enough space for an open book. Which, honestly, was the extent of the space he needed. behind that space was what looked to be a rather beat up laptop. It had wires connecting everywhere and had several bits of ducttape on it. So yeah, it had broken and he put it back together just so long as it worked he didn't care. Sure he could probably build himself a computer from scratch and have it look better, but he didn't feel like it. He liked his beat up laptop. "What grade did you transfer into?" he asked, curious as to why anyone would move school's this late and what grade they were in. He didn't look old enough to be a senior, but some kids skipped grades so really he couldn't guess and be one hundred percent sure. If he did have to guess though he was going to go on the lower side seeing as the boy didn't look that old.

Lived and learnedfrom fools and from sages -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-”Nice meeting you, too.”Aiden wasn’t used to being around people he didn’t know all too well. Granted, he didn’t know anyone at school well enough yet, but that was understandable. He’d only been here for what almost felt like twenty-four hours; it was obvious that he wasn’t familiar with any classmates yet. Still, he decided to brace himself and be nice to his roommate, just for the sake of politeness. Not to mention that they were going to spend a reasonable amount of time in the same room, of course. It was only fair that he showed some politeness. ”Nah… I doubt I’ll break anything else anytime soon… one never knows, though, so I can’t really promise anything, ”he joked, and let out a very light laugh. It was… fun. He glared down at the page of his book before shutting it closed in a fit of annoyance at himself. Aiden wanted to scold himself for not being creative; but eh… that would have been a little bit too weird. Then again, he was the one who had been a writer in a past life. Considering that, he wasn’t one to talk about weirdness. True enough, he had run into some strange people in the twenty four hours he had spent here, but he wasn’t one to judge that. He had no right to do that. He decided to cut the thought off his mind for the time being; he’d ramble on about it later. He heard Skylar ask him what grade he was in, and he lifted his head from his pillow to look at him. ”It’s my first. I’m a freshman. I was going to come at the start of the year, but there was some family trouble and I had to wait,”he explained, and then noted the mess his roommate had on his desk. It reminded him a little of his writing desk back at home, and he chuckled a little at that. ”Why do you have all that stuff? Do you… like, build things?”he asked, curiously. It certainly called his attention that Skylar had all that electronic stuff on his desk, and he figured it had to be there for one reason. ”That’s pretty cool, y’know. I write stuff. But, uh… I’m not good.” That was partly true; his writing skills seemed to be decreasing lately; at least for the time being. He put the book back under his mattress, where it would probably be safe… unless someone came peeking into his room and decided to spy on him. He sighed at the thought; perhaps he was letting himself get a bit too paranoid. He couldn’t help it, though. He had been that way ever since the one day Coralyn had almost told the truth to her friends in school. Luckily he had gotten to her just in time, right before she uttered the crucial words, but that had been way too close for his tastes. Thank goodness that she had stopped stalking his journal; he no longer trusted her as much as to let her leave him messages anymore. ”Anyway, uh… are all the teachers grumpy here? I’ve had a few nasty encounters,”he said, rolling his eyes in annoyance, recalling his almost-detention moment from today. Teachers could be so… mean. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-You know it's trueAll the things come back to youWords! 546 Muse! Bring me to Life- Evanescence Notes! I’m on fire and now I think I'm ready to bust a moveCheck it out I’m rocking steady Aiden seemed to be a nice enough roommate so he wasn't going to complain. Though it was entirely possible both of them were just trying to be polite so that it wouldn't be a miserable stay at the school. Either way though he appreciated the fact that the kid wasn't going to be a complete jerk for no reason. So thus he wasn't too worried about the rooming arrangement. He knew they would give him a third roommate eventually, but he would deal with that when the situation revealed itself. For now though he would make decent enough friends with Aiden and see how that worked out for him. Hearing the boy say he couldn't really promise anything, Sky gave a light chuckle. Sure he didn't have much of a sense of humor, but he was still being polite and the polite thing to do was to laugh at a joke even if he didn't find it all that funny. Seeing as he didn't find most things funny for whatever reason. "Just so long as it's nothing too important it shouldn't matter." he noted with a light shrug. Then noticed that he was holding some sort of book and was glaring at it. Aiden did seem to want to do something with the book in his hands, but appeared to give up rather quickly. Well, he certainly wasn't going to get anything done that way. Though forcing himself probably wouldn't go well either. Either way, it was none of his business so he would let it go for now. Maybe once he knew the boy better he would ask about it. Until then he would ignore the strange random act, and hoped that Aiden would ignore his strange love of electronics. Though that was pretty easy to explain he had to admit.
The boy had laid down on his bunk, but that didn't stop Skylar from talking to him. If he wanted him to stop all he had to do was ask and he'd take his laptop out to the living room and work on something there. Or he would take parts he thought he would need and go back to work on that damn fingerprint scanner. Though he was planning on making a day of working on it with the Wright brothers, and it would probably be over in their room seeing as Xelios was a reincarnate as well and thus wouldn't question them tinkering in there. Even if a certain nosy girl happened by he could say he was fixing their computer or something being that he was on the school's tech squad and all. Which was definitely perfect for him being who he was in his past life. He should probably drag both Oliver and Nate onto it as well so it looks less suspicious for them to play with electronics. He imagined it would look odd either way for Oliver, but there wasn't much he could do about that. Hearing Aiden answer the question Skylar snapped back from his thoughts and looked over at him with the polite smile still in place. So the boy was still a freshman then. "It happens." he stated with a light shrug then noticed him looking at the mess he called a desk. It was organized to him, but anyone who wasn't technologically inclined would definitely not think so. Ah well, no concern to him that's for sure. Just so long as he could find everything in his desk it didn't matter if anyone else could seeing as he would never ask someone who didn't know what they were doing to get anything off of it for him. Seeing as it was entirely possible they would accidentally break it or something else in the process of looking for what he wanted. Which would not make him a very happy inventor. So thus he would always get up and get things himself if they were needed.
Hearing the question of why he had all that stuff he smiled a bit. Then he was asked if he built things. It wouldn't make sense for him to have any of this otherwise would it? "I build and fix things. I'm on the school's tech squad so I fix things around the school on a regular basis. I sometimes keep spare parts because if it doesn't work for one thing it's possible it will work for something else." he said with a simple shrug. Aiden then stated that he was a writer, but that he wasn't very good at it. Everyone really was their own worst critic so he doubted that to be true. "Technically you cannot fairly judge yourself on writing skills unless you're overconfident." he noted with a slight shrug. Well, it was true, most people were terrible at judging how good or bad they were at something. Had to have an excellent grasp on what was considered good and what was not considered good, which he doubted a freshman in high school had. Unless he was reincarnated, but that was another thing entirely. The boy hadn't shown any signs of it so he wasn't going to press it at all. He may be Aiden's roommate but he would probably be spending less time with him than most anyone else. So thus he probably wouldn't be a very good judge since he wouldn't be around him much. Skylar was a rather busy person after all. It was a miracle if he was ever around a person enough to recruit them. He did every so often, though it was rather rare it did happen from time to time. Certainly with the vast number of reincarnates in this school. The next question had him chuckling, now that was actually funny. "No, some are terrible, but others are pretty nice. The principal certainly isn't grumpy. She's super nice and a tad bit crazy I swear. Which teachers did you meet?" he asked with a raised eyebrow, though he did have a bit of a hunch on that one. Some teachers there was just no getting along with them, and there was one that was just plain creepy. Others though, ones that were in RSOR when they came to school here, plus a few others were pretty nice. It really just depended on your luck which ones you got.

Lived and learnedfrom fools and from sages -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-”Hah…”This wasn’t half bad, actually. Despite the fact that he wasn’t too fond of socializing, or dealing with people he didn’t know, he was actually comfortable talking to Skylar; he seemed nice enough. For as long as he didn’t make too much of a mess around the room, things would go smoothly. He wasn’t expecting to become too much of a close friend of his roommate’s but that didn’t necessarily mean they had to loathe each other. ”Nah, no problem…”he added upon Skylar’s comment about not breaking anything too important. He doubted he would do that, actually. The glass thing… had been just a moment of random distraction, and he’d be over it. He nodded at Skylar’s comment about the family trouble. ”Yes, yes it does… glad it’s over, thankfully…”he sighed a bit; he wasn’t all too fond of the idea of having trouble around his house. Then again; he really could do nothing about it. It wasn’t in his hands. ”The tech squad, huh? That sounds like fun,”he said, not that he really meant it. He wasn’t too fond of science, but he was trying to be polite… that was points to his advantage, right? It… was possible. ”I’ve heard that before,”he noted when he talked about being overconfident. He gave a light shrug. ”I don’t find myself too overconfident, though… just not very creative, especially this last couple days,”he rolled his eyes at himself and glared up at the ceiling. He wasn’t all too happy with his writing skills, or with the muses for not smiling at him. Back then it had been too easy, but it had taken him a lifetime, quite literally, to complete his best works. He looked over to his desk, where he kept all of Tolkien’s… all of his best works, sitting beside his laptop; all thanks to Lynnie who had insisted that he borrowed them. He didn’t quite see the point; given that fact that Coralyn was aware that he knew the stories upside down, but he hadn’t wanted to see her sad, or upset. He’d only brought the books to make her happy. It was so easy to please her… another wave of homesickness hit him, and it took him a little bit to focus on the conversation again. He had to fight back his impulse to crack up to laugh when Skylar laughed at his comment about the teachers. ”Hey, it’s not fun. Why are you laugh—“ at that moment he let out a light chuckle and his phrase was cut short. Okay, yeah. He admitted it, it did sound kind of fun. Laughing at himself was fun… sometimes. He controlled his laugh a little and let out a sigh before continuing to speak. ”Uhm, let’s see… I had Social Studies, English, and Math… that last one wasn’t too nice, so to speak,”he rolled his eyes. Then again, he guessed he deserved the almost-detention he’d gotten. He had thrown a ruler across the classroom after all. Accidentally, but he had. ”I guess I deserved his hate, though.” He shrugged a little and continued to look up at the ceiling, boredly, a little bit indifferently. But he wasn’t trying to be impolite. That was far from his intention. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-You know it's trueAll the things come back to youWords! 539 Muse! Hey Jude-The Beatles Notes! YOU SEE MY PROBLEM IS THIS, I’Mdreaming away wishing that heroes they truly exist • • • • • • • • • • • AIDEN && SKYLAR ! Fox had never really thought that he would be glad to be back in Riverdale. After spending so long hating how far away from his family he was while at school, he was actually pretty excited to be back. He had spent so long in LA, and London and Venice, making sure that Sebastiano was happy that he was eager to come back to his teenage life. He had forgotten how nice it was to be a teenager, especially since in this life he didn’t have to worry about racism and the like. Despite being severely jet lagged, exhausted and famished Fox was in a good mood, though it might have something to do with listening to upbeat pop music. His iPod was currently playing Britney Spears, definitely not someone one would expect from Bob Marley. He couldn’t help but have adopted the vast and unconventional tastes of his father, Ash. Not to mention that Fox could respect someone who had a complete mental breakdown and then return to the music industry bigger and fiercer.
On a regular day Fox’s current state would be no big deal. Nothing out of the ordinary. There he was, in a pair of jeans and a bright orange hoodie with fox ears, his suitcase rolling behind him in one hand and a giant jug of milk in the other. Today it was a site to behold, for it had been months since Fox had been in Riverdale. With a stupid smile on his face, hair in his eyes and a tummy filled with twinkies and milk, he was ready to return to the dorms. Though, he wasn’t in a dorm with Hayden anymore which was kind of disappointing. He hoped the roommates he did have weren’t too bad, though Fox usually didn’t have to worry about not getting along with people. After living with several people with mental illnesses as long as he had Fox had developed a talent for handling extreme people. He bobbed his head to his music as he chugged his jug of milk, nearly halfway through the four gallons of milk that he had bought right after his plane had landed. Only Fox could pull off something like that.
Finally he reached his dorm, struggling to open the door but managing it somehow. He kicked it open with his shoe and downed some more of the milk before saying anything. “Hi. Which bunk do I get?”
He figured the one the little blonde kid was sitting on was his, so it was just a matter of which bunk was Skylar’s. Wait. Skylar! Fox knew him! Fox liked him! “Skywalker!” he exclaimed happily. “Hi I’m Fox—“ to the blond kid on the bunk as his things were set down. “Hug me!” to Skylar as Fox launched at him. It wasn’t long before they were on the floor in a heap of humans. “Skylar I missed you! Did you miss me? You smell tasty. I smell like milk. I have no idea what time it is and I hate airplanes.” It was clear to even someone who didn’t know Fox that he was a bit on the tired side, and his voice sounded more stoned than usual despite not even touching a cigarette let alone a joint. He just interrupted a conversation but whatever. [/blockquote] words: 553 outfit: clicky! lyrics: britney spears, oops i did it again notes: ohi invading hope you don’t mind =3[/blockquote]

I’m on fire and now I think I'm ready to bust a moveCheck it out I’m rocking steady This conversation could be worse he imagined, but he was finding it to be a little boring. For the sake of his roommate not hating him though he'd continue the conversation. Honestly, talking about school and what they were interested was a normal conversation. Skylar would much rather talk to a reincarnate about electronics or about things that they saw happen. Honestly that was just a much more interesting conversation. Maybe he was spoiled in the sense that he got to hear such things on a regular basis. At least the boy was agreeing to not break anything too important. Seeing as then Skylar would get irritated and they would no longer get along he had to guess. Not many people liked him as much after his temper shot off at them. He couldn't really blame him, but it did put quite a limit onto how many close friends he had. Ah well, he would be fine without that many close friends. Probably good that he didn't get too close to any normals lest they be anti-RSOR members. Seeing as then all they would want was information from him, and they wouldn't be getting it, and then he would just simply end up losing friends. Either way though at least he could tolerate his roommate. He heard the boy reply that he was glad the family troubles were over and shrugged. "I imagine it wouldn't be good for you to be here during family troubles." he said with a bit of a shrug. Skylar found the tech squad to be rather fun to be honest, but he was pretty sure very few people did. The boy was probably just trying to be polite still and Skylar gave a light smile. "It's fun when I don't accidentally set myself on fire or get electrical burns yeah." he noted with a slight grimace. Which he had actually set himself on fire the other day. Before Aiden got here. So he'd be wrapped up for a while. Just so long as nobody poked or hug attacked him, then he was perfectly fine with whatever.
Hearing the boy talk about his writing Skylar thought for a moment. Seemed that the boy was just having a bit of writer's block. "Seems you just have writer's block. Try something else, another hobby maybe to get your mind off of it? Then maybe it will go away." he noted with a shrug. If he got irritated with a piece of technology because he couldn't figure out how to fix it, he always took a break and did RSOR stuff to keep his mind off of it, and when he came back he could find the issue pretty easily. Though maybe that was more because he was looking at it for too long and missed small details. Either way though it could work he supposed. Sometimes you have to step away from something for a while, and it will then come easier to you when you get back to it. He noted the boy looking over at his desk and saw the books. Skylar wondered why he was doing that, but wasn't going to ask. It was always possible the books were gifts from someone he missed at home, or that he was aspiring to be like the author. The conversation then moved onto teachers and classes, which truly some of them were terrible, and one in particular was just creepy. Sky was glad he didn't have him this year and instead had the reincarnate teacher. Definitely was better seeing as last year he had the creepy one and was glad for the break from him.
Which, speaking of reincarnates, Bob Marley just burst his way in looking a bit stoned, but that was probably due to the fact that he had been on a plane for a while. Being jet lagged was one of the worst things sometimes. He definitely noticed Fox before Fox noticed him being that he asked which bunk he got and Skylar pointed to the open one on top. There were quite a few times where Skylar rolled out of bed literally so he had passed on the top bunk. It was then he heard Fox shout Skywalker quite happily and chuckled. "Foxyyy" he said rather enthusiastic to have the boy back. After all he had left for some time. Then Fox said hug him and oh dear moments later he was on the floor and in pain. He winced and could hear the boy rambling. Sky laughed despite the pain, but you could definitely tell he was not comfortable. "Yes I missed you.....thanks...and I would have to look at my phone. First though could you get off of me I have burns all up my side." he said trying to push the boy up a bit. "Normally I wouldn't care, but right now it's rather painful." he noted though Fox had somehow avoided it for the most part. It was just the fact that the boy was laying on it that was causing some pain. He had to say though the boy even sounded stoned, but he doubted he was being that it was probably an all day trip on the airplane and you couldn't smoke on those. Especially not weed that was for sure. Also, Sky doubted that Fox really wanted to make that first impression on his new roommates. Though Sky already knew him, but that was an unexpected twist. He definitely didn't expect Fox to even come back let alone getting him as a roommate. He wasn't about to complain though seeing as he did rather like Fox, and he knew for a fact they got along. That was always an upside when you got along with your roommates.
