Lived and learnedfrom fools and from sages -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-Ring.Aiden smirked a little as the teacher dismissed the class. About time he did, too! The class had been very, very boring; it had really taken all he had not to fall asleep in the middle of the lesson about quadratic equations; something he’d already studied once back in his old school at Florida. He didn’t really see why it was so important that he studied it again. School was okay. Just a little repetitive, but otherwise okay. He’d always been fond of pretty much all the subjects he had… except the Sciences of course. Math, Physics, Chemistry and Biology were the nightmare of his existence. In fact, he had just ended his last class of the day… which happened to be Math. Of all the sciences, that was the one he hated the most. He especially hated Algebra; he couldn’t quite get the sense of it, a mix of letters and numbers along with mathematical operations weren’t exactly his idea of a favorite subject. That didn’t matter for now, though. It was Friday, he’d already had all of his classes, and he was free for the weekend. Hearing the bell ring was a relief now; he gathered his books and pencils -luckily he hadn’t thrown any today, that wouldn’t have been all too fun- and threw them into his backpack lazily. He stretched a little bit and yawned, before walking out of the classroom and heading out to the grounds. He liked the grounds; he really did. He was in the mood to go for a walk outside, under the muted sunlight that beat down over the school. It was really, really nice. He’d been waiting all the day to be able to go outside and just be lazy. That was all he was asking of today: being able to do absolutely nothing. Now, that was his idea of a good weekend. He had already been here for a couple days now. The school was definitely strange… though in a good way. He was sure that Carolyn would have enjoyed coming here, if she was old enough to attend. In the matter of a few days he’d already had a couple run-ins with several very odd people, but that just made it more interesting. Plus, who was he to determine who was strange and who was not? He figured everyone was just strange in one way or another; and that was okay. If people wasn’t like that at all, the world would probably be all too boring. Pushing a lock of blonde hair behind his ear, Aiden walked out of the school and headed outside. Just as he had expected, warm sunlight burned on his skin and he sighed a little bit at the feel of it. It was a little like being back in Florida, only… that he wasn’t there. He decided not to think about it for now. He was bent on enjoying what remained of the day, and getting another homesick fit wasn’t his exact definition of fun. Nope, not at all. The former writer would much rather avoid any depressing subjects, especially today that he was in such a good mood. For someone as hotheaded as he was; this light, easygoing demeanor was rather rare. He was going to enjoy himself, and nothing was gonna halt him, damn it. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-You know it's trueAll the things come back to youWords! 555 ( that's like... 666 or something) Muse!
