What an interesting little idea! Tamara made a mental note to congratulate Hanston later on. She had a feeling that this entire ordeal would be an absolute blast. At least a few people would be squirming by the end of the night, and Tamara hoped to see some of it first hand. It would be a win-win situation for her. For her, it did not matter too much who she was paired with, because she planned to have fun with it no matter what. What she honestly hoped for was a pairing with someone from RSOR. She wanted to extract more information from them, but she would have to be covert about it. She could only hope it was someone from RSOR who did not know her that well, then. A small smirk came across Tamara's face, followed by a giggle as she had a fleeting thought about what she would do if she were matched up with someone like Oliver or Iskander. She also wouldn't mind being paired with Errol, but that had nothing to do with RSOR - Rather, it had to do with her own feelings. She'd developed a small crush on her fellow junior, but for all the drama mongering she did, she was afraid to have drama directed toward herself - Thus why she had not made a move to voice these feelings, despite the fact that she was normal quite forward about everything. Reaching the Indian restaurant where she was supposed to be meeting her partner, Tamara placed her purse in the seat next to her and then took a seat herself. Time for the waiting game. If you find a man that’s worth a damn, And treats you well… ANGELO REESE ==================================== Angelo sighed loudly—and sighed again…and again. He had a piece of paper in his hand and was using it to navigate through the streets to the restaurant. Why the hell did he have to do this? The chances of them pairing him with someone he would like was slim. In fact, it was maybe an 8 % chance. Angelo was Bisexual, yes, but he preferred the gents not the ladies. He had been with a few women here and there, and he hadn’t not enjoyed it—but that was in a previous life where being gay was wrong. According to today’s society, technically Angelo was gay. But he didn’t announce it and preferred to claim he was bisexual. So as far as he was concerned he was. Though no one had ever snooped into his personal life as Angelo instead of Michelangelo so he didn’t think anyone knew as much.
So really, this was for him the WORST thing anyone could do. He didn’t want to spend the night having dinner with some girl. Let alone with anyone male. Angelo was a loner. He didn’t marry in his first life and didn’t plan to in his second life. All he did was sleep around in his first life, and that was all under the radar and private. He had ‘dated’ some of his students but never anything too attached. It was more like a tumble every now and then. He had to hide who he cared for so of course he wasn’t really into this whole ‘blind date thing’.
Angelo sighed again as he moved into the restaurant. To make things even worse, Angelo didn’t care for food either. He ate because he had to not because he liked to. So he couldn’t even enjoy the food tonight. He would much rather be doing some sculpting in the art room. In fact, there was very little stopping him from turning around. The only thing being that he didn’t want some poor girl to be stood up in front of other classmates. Angelo may not be the nicest person but even he wasn’t that nasty.
Angelo spoke only a few words to a waiter to give his table number and get its location and turned to see someone already sitting there. And he let one more sigh of despair as it wash over him as he saw the girl sitting there. Okay, until he had seen her, maybe a small part of Angelo had hoped to see a beautiful gay man who was a sensitive poet and artist—perhaps even an inventor or creator…a real renaissance man, y’know? Oh and renaissance man being someone with multiple trades. But…seems that fantasy was better left in Angelo’s own mind anyways.
He wandered over and pulled out the chair, mumbling ”Hullo…”
as he sat down. He was hardly dressed for the restaurant and his clothes, as usual, were covered in clay dust, paint and no small amount of marble dust. Angelo, being anti-social, didn’t think to introduce himself or even say anymore. He had no idea what else to say. Perhaps that was also a contributing factor to his never having married or maintained a loving relationship?[/blockquote][/blockquote] ==================================== •• Tag • Tamara Ramachander •• •• Words • 534 •• •• Outfit • CLICK •• •• Lyrics • "Gives you Hell" by All American Rejects ••

Finally, her 'date' showed up. Unfortunately, it was not Errol. Also unfortunately, she wasn't entirely sure who it was. She vaguely recognized him, but nothing in particular stood out about him, other than the fact that he was dressed in such a way that he couldn't possibly be taking this thing all that seriously. Tamara didn't know if this was simply because he didn't care, or if he was doing it to rebel, but she was certainly curious. "Hello." Came her response to his short greeting. It wasn't much, but at least he was saying something. She waited a few moments, wondering if he was going to pipe up with anything else. When he didn't, Tamara decided to take the conversation into her own hands. She had the feeling that if she didn't, this was going to be an awfully boring dinner. "Tamara Ramachander. And you are? Sorry about the name, I know it's an earful." Tamara laughed, being genial at the moment. The key phrase was, of course, at the moment. She really had no reason to be anything more or less for the time being. Instead, she was waiting for him to say or do something that she could use. This didn't necessarily even have to be RSOR related - She wasn't sure if this boy was in the RSOR or not, although it would certainly be a lot more fun if he was. Still, she wanted something to go on. At the very least a conversation, if not an entirely different form of entertainment. She wondered how hard she would have to work toward this goal. If you find a man that’s worth a damn, And treats you well… ANGELO REESE ==================================== Angelo didn’t know what to make of the girl in front of him. Angelo had gone through the trouble of readjusting to the social laws of today’s age. In his time period, a woman wouldn’t be seen doing half the things women today did and he found he actually preferred today to back then. He tried not to think about how things had been but he also maintained rather decent manners toward women from his own time period.
He greeted her naturally enough though and that was at least a plus but he really didn’t know what else to say. This was awkward—he should have skipped off! Why did he bother coming?
”I am Angelo Reese. And your name is fine—I have heard worse.”
Angelo offered. In fact his true name was worse. Michelangelo di Lodovico Buonarroti Simoni was much more of a mouthful. Though he was at least thankful he wasn’t Picasso. Angelo wasn’t really sure what else to say to be honest. The menu had nothing appealing to him, but to be honest, what was appealing food wise for Angelo. He just decided to take the first thing on the menu…Curry Chicken. At least he wouldn’t be seen as rude for not ordering anything?[/blockquote][/blockquote] ==================================== •• Tag • Tamara Ramachander •• •• Words • 208 •• •• Outfit • CLICK •• •• Lyrics • "Gives you Hell" by All American Rejects ••
