FROM OLIVER WINCHESTER
I...um, wow. That's...that's disgusting. To think that people like that might be walking around again.
Of course he would rise to it. And I'm sure he'd do an excellent job with it. He wouldn't be alone either...he'd have almost the entire RSOR backing him up.
I say almost because I can see some of us joining forces with him.
Why are we even discussing this, anyway? I seriously doubt World War 2 is going to be reenacted in the halls of Riverdale High. Then again, maybe I shouldn't speak too soon.
I'd like to see a somewhat accurate representation of you too. Of course, you'd have to point out where to look, since you say that many depictions aren't that accurate. Does the way you look now resemble in any way the way you looked back then? They don't have many crazy depictions of me, but you should see some of the pictures the French drew of Will...I honestly can't see how they could have possibly thought those flattering.
Only thing off besides the mustache was the eyes, and that's not that big of a deal. I do have brown eyes this time around, but before, they were blue. The wax statue has brown. No big deal.
Guess they thought that European automatically equals blonde hair and blue eyes?

FROM OLIVER WINCHESTER Well. I know never to get on your bad side. -Nervous chuckle-
Can't say I entirely blame you, however. It sounds as though this guy is deserving of at least some divine retribution for what he did.
I would join Churchill, of course. Not sure what I could do, but I'd work up something to help out the cause.
How did that turn out with Saladin, anyhow? Bonnie didn't kill him, I hope? Suppose I probably would have heard about that if it happened though.
They did. It was still strange to look at myself in that way though. I don't think it will ever NOT be strange. Like an out of body experience.
Pictures of the more accurate ones would be nice. Thanks, Joan.

FROM OLIVER WINCHESTER Divine retribution may not have been the right way to state it.
Tech stuff isn't a bad idea. Might as well go for something I have a bit of experience with. Don't think I'm really a 'front lines' type of guy anyhow.
Hmm, I'd expect it from Bonnie, not so much from Saladin.
There was a normal there? That's not good. Hopefully he didn't realize the full implications of what he was seeing. And if he did, hopefully he doesn't tell anyone. Does he seem like the kind of person that would keep his word, or even be able to put two and two together?
I wouldn't flip out. At least, not in a blatantly obvious way.
-Buzzing noise-
Aaaaaaand it looks like I got your text.
-Sound of clicking, still on the line as he goes to view text-
Well, I definitely see the resemblance, Joan. Don't know if that's intentional or not, but it's there.

FROM OLIVER WINCHESTER Just that he deserves to be punished. Divine retribution was a bad way of stating it, given the circumstances.
Red Baron V2? Don't foresee myself doing that either. I'd be on the wrong side, for one thing. Plus we never really wanted planes to be used in that fashion...
Guess that didn't pan out quite the way we wanted it to, heh.
A clueless normal? That's good. Better him than that girl you said has an idea of what we're all about. And yeah, I'd certainly expect something like that from Bonnie, especially given the situation.
-Laughs- Yes, well, I guess I would be.
Can't say much. Had a dog named Scipio. Found him in a baggage car and had to take him in. Papo does seem like a bit of an odd name for a war horse, however. Definitely interesting to see you as you were, even if they didn't get your horse correct.
I think there's a resemblance, but most pictures circulating are of me in my late 20s and early 30s or later. So I don't know if you could really compare that to me at fourteen.

FROM OLIVER WINCHESTER Well, you know. You keep going after my last name, flying, and my height, so I have to go after something back. Only fair.
Yeah, I've come to expect it, but it doesn't mean I don't get disappointed sometimes still. We were naive enough at one point to believe that it would actually end war.
Not even the atomic bomb can do that though, it seems.
Hayden? Uh-oh. Not sure what to think on him. He's a nice guy, doesn't seem very bright, but then he'll go and say or do something that makes you think twice about him. However, no matter what, he doesn't seem like the guy to run around telling the school what he saw, which is a plus.
Want to trade names? -Snorts- Scipio was a St. Bernard. Hopefully Papo ended up in the right hands.
Funky moustache? Are you seriously making fun of my moustache? I'll have you know that that sort of moustache was pretty common around that time. -Laughs- I kind of miss it sometimes.
Think I know which picture you're talking about. That was taken right after I was promoted to the next reading level at school. Think I convinced them when I read the book in front of the class upside down.

FROM OLIVER WINCHESTER You could grow taller yet. It's unlikely, but it's not impossible.
I do realize that now.
I can't say I entirely blame him for being scared. We obviously know better, but clearly they both have a penchant for losing control when they're angry. Just so long as they don't do it again in front of the wrong person, our secret should be safe.
Skateboarding lessons might not be a bad idea, even if only to get closer to him to make sure he doesn't get too suspicious. I mean, I know him fairly well, since I'm his go-to guy for skateboard maintenance, but you'd probably have a better idea of what to look out for than I would.
Plus four eyes are better than two?
-Laughter- I'll take you up on that dare. Only trouble I foresee there is looking too similar to the way I used to look. And the comments I can hear Cindy making now.
Aww. Well, I'm sure Papo lived out a long and happy life. Least he received good care while he was in your possession.
-Snickers- No no. I didn't do it just for the sake of doing it. Miss Palmer had all the kids who wanted to try for the promotion to stand up in front of the class and read a passage from the book. My turn came and I just wanted to get it over with and sit back down. I hardly even noticed!
By the way, can we make sure that I never, EVER have to do any speeches in front of the RSOR? I doubt that'll happen, but I ca...er, don't do speeches.

FROM OLIVER WINCHESTER I still have at least three inches to go before I'm at the height I was before.
With whatever I invent this time? I like the way you say that! I'd like to continue to make things, yes, but I honestly don't think I'll be able to top off the airplane.
Don't know much about skateboards either, so can't help you there. Bikes and airplanes are more my gig.
Well, I guess on the plus side the fact that we can't find theirs means that they likely haven't found ours. Wonder what sort of stuff they have on there. Wonder what they think we actually are. -Laughs-
...as long as that one girl you mentioned doesn't have anything to do with it. That might be problematic if she starts blurting out what we really are to everyone.
It wasn't even reading upside down so much that I knew the story by heart... -Falters- -Clearly getting a bit uncomfortable with all of these questions-
Well, English was my first language, not my third. I do have the advantage there.

FROM OLIVER WINCHESTER That's true. That offers some consolation, at least.
-Splutters- I, um, thanks? I'm sure you'll do something to put your name on the map in this lifetime too.
I've heard of those capabilities too. I'll let him handle the software stuff, I'm more into the hardware anyway. I've just heard that it's possible and I wouldn't put it past Thomas Edison to know how to put it into use.
Well, as long as she doesn't tell anyone else about it. Maybe someone told her about it and that's how she knows? I'm sure that option's already been explored, but just putting it out there in case it hasn't.
Scared of public speaking? Of course not! -Laughter that comes out more nervous than he wants it to- I just don't particularly enjoy it.

FROM OLIVER WINCHESTER This is my second set of genes. And who knows with science these days...still don't think we're quite at that stage though.
So? I'm sure you can modernize them a bit. Or, like you said, make a killing as a lawyer or FBI agent.
She figured things out pretty quickly then, considering. Oldest she could have been when she figured it out was a sophomore.
Like I said, I'm not a fan of public speaking.

FROM OLIVER WINCHESTER To be honest, as much as I love advancements in science, that's one that bothers me a bit too. There's just some things that really don't seem like they should be messed with.
Open a restaurant? But that doesn't seem to fit you. I see you actually going out there and doing something, not being cooped up in a kitchen all day.
I'm thinking of going into engineering. Not sure what type yet. Aerospace engineering seems like the most obvious path, of course, but as long as I get to fiddle around with the machines, I think I'll be happy.
If we're talking RSOR, her first exposure would have been sophomore year, when we moved to Riverdale.
Honestly, I'm not holding it against her. I just think it might have made things a bit easier if she told me sooner. A lot easier.
I am NOT scared. A bit apprehensive, maybe, but not scared.

FROM OLIVER WINCHESTER I don't see it being a guarantee that things will go wrong, but something as delicate as that definitely has the potential.
...kind of amusing hearing you pardon your French when you ARE French. Just thought I'd let you know that.
Oh, I'll definitely make sure. It's just too bad I can't display my real credentials when applying for a job. That would almost guarantee that I'd beat out any other candidates. Unless I was up against another reincarnate, of course.
...-Chuckling- We weren't talking about Cindy at first, were we? I misunderstood. So that does happen, then? Sometimes normals get mistaken for reincarnates? I already know from experience that sometimes reincarnates get missed unless the, ahem, right person comes along, but the idea of a normal coming across as a reincarnate makes me a bit nervous.
Why are we still arguing about this? Does it really matter if I'm scared or not? Just as long as I don't have to do it.

FROM OLIVER WINCHESTER I don't doubt it either.
American in both lives. Though I've visited both Spain and France. Nice countries, both of them. Then again, I'm going based on what they were like 100 years ago, I'm not sure how they might have changed now.
It would be nice. You could probably get promoted to a general in the army with ease if you were to tell them what sort of background experience you have. Then again, we need to take into consideration what's changed since our first time around. Guess that's why we have to go to school again?
This time I plan to finish too. None of that crap about not taking the required courses and not graduating on time. >.>
Errol? Think I've heard of him. He's that guy Susan really hates, isn't he? Kimaya doesn't seem to get along with him too well either...don't know how that bodes with me, but I haven't met him yet.
Bah. Guess that's a no to changing the subject then. -Sighing-

FROM OLIVER WINCHESTER I was in Kansas City before I came here, though Cindy's probably already told you about that. Really wasn't that much different than here, although it was a bit of a bigger city.
I would imagine being trilingual has it's advantages too.
I think you could still do it.
Nope, I didn't finish. Probably could have, but I was interested in becoming a printer at that point, and I was taking college prep courses rather than the required courses. They told me I'd have to take an extra year of courses to graduate, so I left and started a print shop with Will.
Well, it's not like he KNOWS that we thought he was Beethoven. I would hope.
Like I said, it does...bother me a little.

FROM OLIVER WINCHESTER
You do have a point there.
I have a hard time with her slang too, to be honest. Sometimes I wonder if she isn't making up half of what she says up.
You could do it. You slaughtered Susan and I at Call of Duty, after all. Then again, I guess it's not really saying much when that's outside of our areas of expertise.
Well, diplomas back then weren't like they were today.
Definitely good. Oh, and speaking of recruiting, there's another prospect on my list. -Snickering- Freshman classes are a gold mine.
If I admit it, will it get you to leave me alone? If so...then yes, I'm a bit scared of public speaking. Happy now?

FROM OLIVER WINCHESTER
To confuse us would be my guess. Maybe she gets nervous about you speaking in French?
Well, like I said, it's not our area of expertise. If we had a bit of practice, we'd probably be able to do better, but that was my first time playing Call of Duty ever. Don't know about Susan, of course, but...
I can see why. So far I've only found one person outside of the freshman class, and that's only because he's my brother and he flew a toy car into my head. -Chuckling-
Remember that girl I told you invited me to go hang gliding? Her. Her name is Lenita, she's in my history class, and she's done a few things that strike me as suspect. Not to mention that old soul eyes comment...that still kinda weirds me out. My eyes don't look weird, do they?
