FROM OLIVER WINCHESTER That would be amazing. Only unfortunate part is that the stills didn't include everyone, so some might feel left out in that case. Unless Hanston just bought a set for each RSOR member and handed them out that way. That way no one would feel bad if they didn't get a picture that they were in.
I'm glad those didn't carry over. Then again, I think we might have been more careful if we'd been aware of the knowledge that it could carry over. We knew better, so we went a little crazy.
They really do, but the problem is that no one can prove what they did. Although honestly, you'd think someone would do something about what she did to me on Valentine's Day. I still have faint scars where she stabbed my hand. Fortunately, they blend into the other scars on that hand, but the fact remains that there are a few puncture marks within my burn scars. Which my parents have still not seen...ahem.
-Laughing- Well, no, I know that, but I figured that he should be prepared. I probably should have saved it for an 18th birthday present, though. He went bald in his 20s before, you know. I don't know what his genetic code looks like this time, since I haven't met Mr. Driscoll or even seen a picture of him, but still...I figured it may come in handy some day. -Continued laughter-
-Regains his composure as the subject turns to Isa and Xelios- Why is Talia not pleased? And why does your frustration lead to flying and Wright puns? Seriously, that's twice within the same statement. Anyway, I think the Wright thing to do would be to talk to Xelios.

But really...like prayers do people a lot of good. Why should I take your word for it? Who's to say this isn't just some trick? What if I don't believe in God, what then? This is because I'm stupid and didn't realize that we post back and forth. Dx

FROM THEODORE KINNLEY You're missing the point; if I...well, not to be rude or anything, but if I think you're crazy and I don't believe in God or whatever, why should I believe you? And why should I feel any better about what I did? If there is no God, He had no son...and so Yeshua had no reason to die!
You should have seen his eyes. They were...God--no pun intended--they were so sad. I had never seen him like that before, and it was all because of me!

FROM OLIVER WINCHESTER Well no, that wouldn't stop Jack and Bathory, because...well, they're Jack and Bathory. If some sort of death occurs around Riverdale, they'd probably be the first people I'd suggest checking out. I would hope they wouldn't be that obvious, though. Not for their sakes, because honestly, I could care less if they're thrown in jail for the rest of their lives, but for the sake of RSOR.
Yes, she stabbed my hand. In front of a chaperone too, although she tried to pass it off as an accident. Anyone who could believe THAT was an accident...I was holding up my hand reading a menu. She had to be aiming for that, but, of course, the chaperone decided to take the benefit of the doubt... -Muttering-
Hopefully. How did your parents react to those, anyway? And what did you tell them happened? You probably explained that before to me, but refresh my memory. And if not...then yeah.
It would suck. I was starting to lose hair in my thirties before, although the full reign of baldness didn't really set in until I was around my forties or fifties. I was lucky in that regard, though, like I said, every single male child in our family went bald. Every single one. Definitely a genetic component there.
Well, at least she doesn't want to kill him anymore? And I wish her luck at killing him...she can't really do much with the condition she's in at the moment. No offense to her, but seriously, I know what broken bones feel like, and there's no way she'd stand a chance against Xelios in a wheelchair. I know how you could approach him, though. Rather easily, in fact. If you stop by our dorm, you could wait around for him under the pretense that you're coming to see me for something. RSOR business maybe.

FROM OLIVER WINCHESTER
I wouldn't be either, which is kind of sad. Though, if you consider it, Jack has already succeeded. Four times over in fact, and I would have been five if I hadn't been locked in that elevator. Yes, this was at the wax museum, and yes, we woke up fine in the morning, but if it were any other time...that would be four deaths on his hands.
Still think it's ridiculous. Anyone using common sense could realize that when you're holding a menu, it actually takes some sort of effort to aim a fork at someone's hand. It wasn't like my hand was on the table.
Well that's good that you weren't forced to move. Did you actually tell them what happened, then, or did they just come to the correct assumption that Talia had something to do with it?
Neither the burn nor the stab wound are entirely my fault, though. More a case of being in the wrong place at the wrong time...with the wrong people.
Well, hopefully in the time it takes her to get out of the wheelchair she'll settle down. If I can handle my past brother and current sister dating, she can handle Charles Darwin and Joan of Arc...well, not dating, but...I don't even know what's going on between you two. Let me know when you figure it out, okay? -Chuckles-

FROM OLIVER WINCHESTER
True. He didn't get caught the first time around - I wouldn't imagine he'd get caught this time around either. Which is kind of scary.
She really does, and it's kind of sickening.
Well, it being an accident would be simple enough, and pretty believable even to those outside of RSOR. She smokes, after all. I might be able to use the excuse that the burn was from class, or some sort of experience, at least? They'd still be upset, but hey, at least there's only some scarring now.
I hope so too. That's not even counting the wax museum, which I really don't count, since it seems like almost everyone got hurt...or even killed...there.
Maybe she's afraid you'll start spending more time with Xelios and ditch her? Although that doesn't make too much sense to me when she has Clyde again. Pssh, I don't know. She's odd. And I don't know what you should say. Maybe just ask him what he thought of the kiss?

FROM THEODORE KINNLEY Alright. Alight, fine. I guess it doesn't change anything if you're wrong. If Yeshua—Jesus, whatever—wasn't who they say he is...if he wasn't, I'm still in a lot of shit. Bt if he was, if he talks to you, if Yahweh—oh, sorry, we're not supposed to say that; if God talks ot you...
Maybe we should talk in person. Do you have the time?

FROM THEODORE KINNLEY I don't care what time, as long as neither of us has class...maybe a weekend or something. In town. I'd rather not...not talk on campus. I know you think people won't care who I am, or who I w, but even if...even if...God doesn't care anymore, God seems a whole hell of a lot more forgiving than the people down here.
Look what they did to him, and he didn't even do anything...

FROM THEODORE KINNLEY Now that I don’t believe. But it doesn’t matter, really, I guess. Is there some place we can really be alone? I’m not paranoid, I just don’t want anyone–anyone, from here or anywhere–walking in on this conversation.

FROM OLIVER WINCHESTER
She got caught the first time though, didn't she? He didn't, as we still don't know what his birth name was in his past life, but she did. That's some consolation, at least?
I'm not sure either. It's right up there with reincarnation itself. I did a little research, and it sounded something like soul walking to me. That I don't even understand the full concept of, but...basically when you're unconscious your soul is free to wander? That would explain how our souls ended up in those wax figures, but how we brought them to life is another question entirely. I think I'll stick to airplanes. Much easier to understand.
-Sound of a video playing in the background, with a guy that sounds like Goose from Top Gun speaking- "I feel the need, the need for jet engines to create thrust in order to have differential pressure on the wings which achieves aerodynamic lift at high velocity! OW!"
I don't know! I'm just the third party here. I just know that talking this kind of stuff out usually helps. It's worth a shot, anyway. At the very least you could stop by the dorm to see how the scanner Edison and I are working on is coming along. It's faring pretty nicely.

FROM OLIVER WINCHESTER
That's a huge range, but either way, that's way too many people. Guess we just have to hold out hope that one of them will screw up before they get on that sort of roll again?
It doesn't explain why everyone's souls were attracted, does it? With some it made sense. Will and I, Walt, Darwin, Cindy...er, Harriet...well, anyone who had a photograph or portrait done of them, because those are generally pretty accurate. Doesn't make as much sense with people who aren't. Unless their souls just followed along...because.
-Laughs at Isa's reaction- It's a video, actually, not a game. And I just thought it was a good example of how much easier airplanes are to understand.
Well, he certainly didn't seem to mind it - He was just surprised is all.
I don't know if it's quite ready for that. -Chuckles- We're still trying to test how it works with different fingerprints. Though I guess we could use the rest of you as testers. You just may have to sign a waiver.

FROM OLIVER WINCHESTER
...guess I should be happy I walked away with only minor injuries, relatively speaking.
That could be. Some sort of force pulling our souls that managed to get the others as well. You know, someone should ask Chess if that figure was accurate. One would think that she would know, at least.
It's...jet engines to creating thrust in order to have differential pressure on the wings which achieves aerodynamic lift at high velocity? How does that sound like Yiddish? It makes perfect sense to me!
Yeah, see if replaying it helps. Maybe it's not playing right on your end. You did hear it through a phone, after all.
Waiver in case it explodes, of course. -Laughter-

True, but I'm also not entirely positive they're sticking within their victim ranges in this life. I mean, look at the wax museum.
Another poll? This should be interesting. -Chuckles- I swear we should create a separate section of the site just for our polls. Or, well, you should. I don't think I possess the clearance for that?
Yes, it's referring to that. -Laughing- We'll just leave it at that. Planes taking off at high speeds.
In case it explodes.
-Short pause, then laughter-

FROM OLIVER WINCHESTER More versatile, plus I think they'd have to wait until they're done with school at Riverdale. There's too many people here to risk it. We may not be able to give away what they did before, but they know we're on the lookout.
None taken.
-Laughter-
Yes, planes fly. It's really a lot more in depth than that, but...I guess that's not really your forte, heh. I'll save my more in depth discussions for Will, I guess.
I was joking, Joan. I would think the laughter would give that away. Although there is a small chance the thing might short circuit, but that won't cause an explosion so much as...something you still wouldn't like. Ahem. I think we'll wait on having you test it, just in case.

FROM OLIVER WINCHESTER
Well, don't they typically investigate any leads they may get? Although Leila could probably easily cover her tracks so that it looks like nothing...I don't even want to think about that. I don't even really want to talk about Leila anymore. My hand hurts just thinking about her.
Depends on the military jargon. World War I and II jargon I may understand limited amounts of. If it's the Hundred Years War, as I assume it would be, I can almost guarantee that I'd be screwed. -Chuckles-
Not everything. It comes with the nature of what I do, Joan. When you're working to perfect something new, mistakes do happen. It's how you learn and make improvements on what you already have. I'm sure you learned as you went along on the battlefield...it's much the same concept. -Clearly has taken that comment to heart a bit-
