to walk within the lines, would make my life so boring… KODI CHANDLER ==================================== Kodi smiled back at Alison as she had a look on her face that was spoke of just how ridiculous the board game theory was. The snort was an added amusement and Kodi’s smile turned into a heavily amused grin. ”I didn’t buy into that one either. But it’s a rumour that’s going around and around for some reason. I just don’t get it. How could anyone think that nothing is going on up there? I mean, do you see the art club with their own personal room, locked up, except for when the club members want in?”
Kodi asked, rather rhetorically seeing as the answer was no. ”RSOR has a huge secret to hide and playing board games is not a secret,” Kodi said. ”If they want to play board games they could have joined the Chess club,” she added with a note of finality. Kodi grinned widely, ”Though, if playing board games was the secret, wouldn’t that be hysterical. All the hush-hush and secrets and locked doors over some board games. Ha! How can people be so silly as to think that could possibly be it.” The thought was truly amusing though. Kodi did wish RSOR would just get the secret out with and let the games be over. It was a bit annoying to think that she may spend her next three and a half years trying to figure out what the hell was up with them. But at the same time, it was sort of exciting to think that it wouldn’t all be homework. She was truly on the fence about how things went. She felt more urgency from Tamara and Errol though. Or maybe it was all in her head. But they didn’t have more than one more year to figure this out. She would be sure to call if she figured it out after they had left though. ”It would be handy if you could. But let’s face it, any straight answer from RSOR members we can’t take seriously anyway. It’d just be them trying to throw us off or make us stop bugging. I mean, no one likes people prying and RSOR least of all.” Kodi offered with a shrug. ”It just sucks that all these people have siblings who are in it but are not in it themselves and they are being torn away from them as a result. Or even friends having difficulty because of the secrets. I don’t know how people can be friends with RSOR members and not press for details. I guess if I tried I could force myself not to think about it that way, but it’d be hard.” Kodi admitted with a sigh. Kodi nodded in agreement on both accounts (about Errol and Tamara and about his standing out). ”It certainly must have contained whatever it is they have in common that we haven’t figured out yet. Or at least they thought he had it in common and then he didn’t. The real question is, what did he have and then lose that caused the interest to waiver.” Kodi shrugged. ”If I get to know him better I’ll ask.” She added. It didn’t feel right to ask otherwise. Kodi shifted so she was against the wall on the bed and laid her back to the wall. ”I wish there were not so many puzzles. It’s like we have half answers to only an eighth of our questions. Or like some of the information is in front of us but we don’t know what it means.” The last part was especially true, seeing as they had plenty. It’s too bad the key piece they needed wasn’t within their grasp.[/blockquote][/blockquote] ==================================== •• Tag • Alison Driscoll •• •• Words • 612 •• •• Outfit • CLICK •• •• Lyrics • "Anything but Ordinary" by Avril Lavigne •• •• Notes • Weeeee! ••

While it sounded as though Anti-RSOR had plenty of theories as to what happened behind those attic doors, they were nowhere near the truth. The board game theory was a hilarious one, she had to admit, and if she found out that Oliver was the culprit behind that one, she'd have to give him a firm pat on the back. It was certainly worth the amusement. "I would hope not. I'd lose a lot of respect for you if that were the case." She continued to chuckle a little. Kodi added a few more rants about RSOR, the last of which caused her to grin a little. "Well now, that doesn't work if they don't like chess..." It was clearly a joke, as advertised by the smirk on Alison's face afterward. Kodi's comments about RSOR throwing them off hit rather close to home. Her entire placement was to throw Anti-RSOR off. Alison was a member of RSOR, unbeknownst to them. Kodi was intelligent, but not intelligent enough. She knew that the RSOR would put up it's defenses, but she underestimated just how far it would go. Then again, had Alison ever given Anti-RSOR any reason to doubt her? Had she ever showed any hints that she was a member of RSOR to anyone outside of RSOR? Her tiny slip up with Errol could hardly count. It was a simple flub of words that did not in any way out her as a spy for RSOR. Spy. So many negative connotations with that word...undercover agent sounded much nicer. Alison let out a sigh and nodded in agreement. "Nate should just be upfront with me and tell me what's going on already." She removed her glasses from her face and cleaned them with her blouse as she spoke. "He hasn't been very talkative since our mother died, though." Hey, it was the truth up until recently. Of course, now she knew just why he'd been quiet, and honestly, she'd been quiet too. Their mother dying at such a young age was achingly similar to what happened in their past life. "We could try talking to Tamara. He knows her better, he might divulge to her easier..." Really, though, she didn't know Tamara well enough to ask the question of her. Plus she didn't want to do too much of the dirty work herself when it came to Anti-RSOR. She wanted to throw them off their trail and gather information, while not appearing too eager to find such information. She was wary as to how it would come across if she kept bugging Tamara and Errol. Kodi, on the other hand...even if they grew suspicious of her, Kodi really didn't have anything to hide. So why not try to plant her ideas into Kodi's head? The nagging feeling that this was incredibly wrong was not going away, but at the same time, it was the best idea that she had. She had to go through with it. "You have to admit that this is more interesting than homework, though." Alison stated with a smile, knowing for a fact that Kodi would agree. She knew the girl all too well, which, unfortunately for Kodi, might just spell out her downfall. Word count: 570 To: Jez-E/Kodi Notes: Sorry this took so long.

to walk within the lines, would make my life so boring… KODI CHANDLER ==================================== Kodi laughed at the Chess remark. It was true, if they didn’t like chess that didn’t completely work but tack that onto the ridiculousness of the board game theory and it was funny. Really funny. ”You’re right. Clearly they prefer Trivial Pursuit or Risk.”
Kodi agreed, between her bouts of laughter. The risk one seemed to be a common suggestion amongst the people at the school. Kodi wasn’t sure why at all though. Kodi didn’t realize how on the mark she was. She knew RSOR wouldn’t go down lightly and that surely they would feed information in to Anti-RSOR. It was just to be expected. When you are protecting something you need to use whatever tactics are available, and sadly, false information was an easy and very cheap tool to use. Kodi knew if she was in RSOR she would throw any information at them to throw them off their tracks. Of course, she had no idea how far they had gone. She wouldn’t know for a while that was for sure, since she was talking to that very source of false information leaking into RSOR. Kodi found she agreed strongly with Alison. ”Honestly, all of them should be frank. It would make everyone’s lives easier and it would fix the relationship tears RSOR is causing. I mean, it must suck to have to keep a secret from a friend or a sibling but I imagine not knowing the secret but knowing it exists is worse. I don’t have many friends and certainly no siblings in RSOR and it drives me nuts to know they are keeping a secret from me.” Kodi shrugged. ”It’s gotta suck for you, knowing your brother knows something you don’t.” Kodi shook her head sadly. ”It really makes me feel left out you know…and it must be the same for you.” Kodi was of course unaware that this wasn’t so much the case and that on the contrary Alison was the one with the secrets. ”That I can do. I will be sure to drop her a line on it next time I see her. Errol and her seem to be pretty close and of the three of us she is certainly closest to him.” Kodi agreed with a smile. Kodi wasn’t aware just how easily she was being played but to be honest, there was plenty for her to learn and gather from this. She just had no reason to suspect Alison or keep any information from her. Of course, when/if Kodi ever found out, she’d probably be livid. Kodi felt an amused grin break her features. ”ANYTHING is better than homework!” She said, his distaste for homework clear enough without the emphasis she put on the word anything. Kodi hated homework, and it was clear as day to anyone who knew her, including Alison. Homework sucked. End of story.[/blockquote][/blockquote] ==================================== •• Tag • Alison Driscoll •• •• Words • 476 •• •• Outfit • CLICK •• •• Lyrics • "Anything but Ordinary" by Avril Lavigne •• •• Notes • Weeeee! ••
